We absolutely loved Dockside Inn & Suites. We stayed for almost 2 weeks and had a great experience. Transportation from the airport to the hotel was flawless. Highly recommend. Transportation from the hotel to City Walk was very convenient. Flawless. Check-in was smooth. Took about 20 minutes. The room was clean, bright and comfortable. We got to enjoy the pool which was heated and clean. Our family really enjoyed the outdoor area. We do wish they served food outdoors, though.
All in all, it was a great hotel and I would highly recommend.

We really liked this resort and enjoyed our stay. It’s close to Universal and offers free shuttle buses to the parks. The on-site restaurant was great, we ate there several times for dinner, and the coffee in the dining room was good as well.
The pool area looked very nice, but it was closed due to cold weather, so we didn’t get a chance to use it. We stayed in a two-room suite that was clean, had a minimalist vibe, and while a bit small, had everything we needed.
Overall, we loved the atmosphere. It was lively with lots of families and had a fun feel that worked perfectly for a theme park trip. The staff and amenities made everything easy and enjoyable. From eating meals there to using the shuttle, it really felt like a stress free stay. We would definitely stay here again.

If you’re looking for reliable bus shuttles to the Universal parks and just a place to sleep, Endless Summer Resort is fine for that. But don’t expect outstanding customer service. It felt on par with the service we received from many Universal staff inside the parks — definitely not Disney-level. That’s okay, but customer service should be a top priority at any hotel.
Our key cards didn’t work at check-in. We were given keys previously issued to another guest, with their name still printed on them. Those keys also didn’t work for the side building access point. Thankfully, a random stranger let us in. The hotel is huge, and walking back to the lobby from where I was parked (close to my building), hands full and exhausted from driving, was not something I wanted to do at 11 p.m. So thank you to that stranger.
If you’re using the bus shuttle, you’ll typically access the building through the lobby, so that may not be an issue for you. However, the hotel and parking lot seem to lack security. Anyone can drive in and park. When leaving, the parking machine requested my key card, which didn’t work. After pressing the help button, the gate was opened remotely with no verification of who I was — and parking is $27 per night, charged to the card on file.
As for the room, it was okay. It looked clean overall, except for some mold in the shower door track. I appreciated that plenty of towels were provided. There was no hand lotion, and the coffee machine was dirty, so I didn’t use it. I also wish the vanity area had its own light and some type of privacy door or curtain. If someone uses the restroom at night, it wakes everyone up. The walls are thin — you can hear your neighbors talking. The beds are firm, the blankets are thin, and the pillows are very small.
I didn’t use the other amenities. If you request a room near the elevator for convenience, just be aware it may be noisier due to the thin walls.
And the designated smoking area? It’s right along the path to the lobby. So walking through smoke with kids on the way in and out — not ideal.

The rooms are so clean and nice. And a clean room is a top priority to me. My kids are thrilled. The eating area in the room is great. They stock you with some utensils and condiments. There’s a Starbucks downstairs which is so convenient.
We are in a two bedroom suite. Great size.
We had a few incidents.
1.We went to the arcade. Loaded our card, played one game and the card stopped working. The front desk did help us by refilling our card.
2.I would bring your own blanket. The blankets here are like big hard towels. Extremely uncomfortable. Not cozy or warm.
3. The fridge was broken it took two guys to come fix it. And our food spoiled overnight.
4. I guess whoever stayed in the room before us set the alarm. But it went off at 5am. My kids woke up and didn’t go back to sleep. So that made the day difficult with three cranky kids.
5.It’s also too cold for the pool to be open, not universals fault obviously. But unfortunate.
The vibes of the hotel are fun. The theme is cute. They try and help. But there were some things that made it uncomfortable to stay where they could improve.

Great for the price. Nice clean comfy room. Room does not have a microwave like I expected. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food court has tons of options and healthy items as well. Shuttle bus to parks is quick and great. I'll never drive and park at the parks ever again. However I did have to pay for my car to be parked at the hotel which was a separate charge when I arrived that I didn't know about. Pool area is very nice but less than 4ft deep which was disappointing to my teens. I would stay here again.
