This is a 3-star hotel, so don't expect a high level of service or luxury. The room was quite small, but it was cleaned every day, which was a plus. One of the main issues was the cooling system. There is no individual air conditioning; instead, the hotel has a central cooling system. When the temperature outside was around 33°C, it clearly couldn't cope, and the room remained quite warm. Every evening there was some entertainment, which was nice. There is also a bar where you can get drinks and have a snack during the day. The food in the restaurant was quite varied, although the better dishes disappeared very quickly as guests took them. Unfortunately, a major downside was the cleanliness of the dishes and cutlery. Plates, forks and knives were often not properly washed, especially during dinner, when it seemed that the staff didn't have enough time to properly clean everything after lunch. The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely its location. It takes only about 3 minutes to walk to the beach. The beach has beautiful white sand, and it is clear that the shoreline is regularly cleaned. The water was clean and warm, and the sea doesn't get deep immediately, so it is very comfortable for children to play in the water and also for adults who don't enjoy deep water. Overall, this hotel is a reasonable choice if you are looking for a simple 3-star stay close to a beautiful beach. Just keep your expectations realistic when it comes to the rooms, cooling system and service.

We have just returned from a week's holiday. Six adults and 2 children over 3 rooms. The hotel is in a great location just a few hundred meters from beach. The rooms are clean and tidy with daily maid service. The staff are friendly and there was plenty to eat each day, even for picky eaters. Plenty of sunbeds and a lovely relaxing holiday. More plug sockets in the bedroom would be useful but other than that great hotel.

The worst experience of my life. I don't understand the positive reviews. The rooms are completely outdated. You can hear the neighbours as if they were inside your own room. There's only one power outlet in the room, right in the middle of the floor: we had to put our phone on the ground to charge it, and it's impossible to work at the desk while charging a laptop. The transfer service recommended by the hotel doesn't answer the phone. The hallway light stays on all night, and the room doors provide zero insulation, so it feels like daylight inside the room around the clock. This hotel is full of partygoers who shout in the hallways when coming back from a night out. And to top it all off, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, at 3 a.m. After the first night, we asked to leave: the hotel refused any kind of arrangement and we lost the entire cost of our booking. Be smarter than we were: don't let the positive reviews fool you. Off-season, guests are placed in the renovated rooms at no extra cost, but in high season you end up in the run-down ones. Stay away.

Where do I start. Check in was by a rude arrogant woman. The room was so small there was nowhere to put suitcases. Bathroom so dated and small. Balcony was good size but the other side of the railings we had industrial fans which were on 24/7, we never had a good nights sleep the whole 11 nights of being there. The food was atrocious, unless you wanted pastries or salad for breakfast you had nothing. We ate out nearly every night even though we paid for all inclusive. The patio doors were broken. In all my 68 years this was by far our worst holiday ever.

We visited in September 2025, Clean and Tidy hotel, good drinks and food, Pool area clean and tidy plenty of sunbeds. Close to town and beach. Entertainment was ok and the safe where nice and friendly. The only downside for me, was that their is not tea/coffee making equitpment in the rooms and i was told by reception i could not entre the restuarant to get a coffee before 8am.

I have come back after spending 14 days at this hotel resort, i went with my 2 children and my mother who has bad legs, let me start by saying it is not all bad, there are some really lovely staff at the hotel, the cleaning lady on floor 3 made our stay bearable and some of the waiting staff, however there is this woman who works in reception and is very unkind and would roll her eyes everytime we needed help, im also shocked that they didnt exactly show you properly where things were or what times you could go to the adventure park for the children, i once asked reception about the times of the foam party, they astonishingly did not know, animation team is really what keeps the hotel going, they went above and beyond, also the pools are cleared by 5ish even though they say untill 6pm, we went to the pool near the food terrace and was shocked to find plastic cups all over the pool side and a plastic fork inbetween the pool vents, when i saw this i immediately cleared it up a bit as my toddler could of hurt herself, the beach is made of rocks and pebbles, be careful as waves are quite strong and the pebbles hit my 8 year old son in his private area and he became sick for 2 days, we saw the in house doctor and was hoping for some sort of help, well she wasnt in her office and sent her nurse, and nurse said best thing was to send him to hospital which could of cost us €300, luckily i had some calpol with me and done some home remedies and he got better quite instantly, also the hotel is 2 hours by car from Antalya Airport, the closest village was Alanya and you had to get taxi, but every time you got the reception desk to get a taxi they would charge €12, when in reality it costs 600tl, hotel is quite remote, too many flies in the dinning area, everytime you.would sit down there was flies swarming all over, it was disrupting, also its a buffet style restaurant, we tried their a la carte, but we were left standing there for a while and they served someone else before us, they sat us down, and their a la carte is more like a set menu, we went for their turkish a la carte, the waiter said to move my buggy out of the way and suggested i get the highchair but they never i had to get up and get it myself, when i did get it it was dirty and i had to clean it, they were more interested in their Turkish, Russian and German clients, than anyone else, entre was already at the table and most food tasted sour, then they brang soup which was tasteless, so we got up and went to the terrace restaurant instead, i got ill towards the end if my holiday, and as i was feeling weak mum went to go down to get the food, because i was so ill the best thing would be white rice and some simple chicken, they told her off and said only one scoop of rice, i dont see how that was a problem but others had taken mountains of food and left alot of food on plates, i saw this daily the amount of food wasted was astonishing, oh and the service of lifts was really bad, sometimes having to wait a good half hour to go down to get food because it was always busy. I would steer clear of this hotel, aparently some taxi drivers said that since the owner died a year ago cleanliness of hotel has gone down badly, which was vissible as when sitting in lounge area i did see a small cockroach in the area.

I have never seen a more terrible hotel, we were on vacation with 5 people, we booked 2 rooms, we arrived and got 1 family room with one shower and one toilet, we said for two nights, everything is understandable, everything happens.. We walked around the territory, nothing impressive there, there is no order everywhere, the staff is unfriendly, does not greet, does not communicate, you will not get what you ask for.. Not only that, when we entered the room, we saw a rat, the receptionist did not believe us until we went and saw it ourselves. In the bathroom, the water from the shower was already in the pool, we said that they would clean it, but they were unable to do it, they only brought new towels. Of course, after all this, they changed our room. In the morning, there was a cockroach in the toilet. We killed it, but unfortunately, the cleaner didn't see it for 6 days and didn't throw it away. The next day, the receptionist said that the cockroach was still there. They put fruit and wine in the room every day, we got it for a couple of days. They said that a table would be reserved for breakfast and dinner, because it's hard to find a seat for five people there. One evening, we found that the table was no longer reserved and we could have asked for it and given euros, but they were completely the same. I'm not talking about the pound, because it's terrible what's happening there. I'm not a complainer, we didn't pay cheaply for the holiday, of course I didn't think that we would have to live in a dump. The food is terrible, there's actually a lot of it, but it's impossible to eat, the plates and cups haven't been washed. In short, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. It won't let me upload footage of the rat running, but if anyone needs it I can send it to you personally.

Marija V.Komljenovic

I have to rate the food. Mashala! Really, 5 stars! If youre vegan- so many things to choose from! If you nice slow cooked meals- youre in for a blast. People who like to eat- best vacation everrrr! Good job! All the best from me. Enjoy!❤️

Marija Roskic

I am currently staying at your hotel. The pool is open until 6pm and they kick us out every day at 5-30pm. The supposed manager (who sits across from the reception and introduces himself as such) claims that it needs to be cleaned. That's when they actually start setting up dinner and forcing us out. The manager who sits across from the reception told me that if I have a problem for half an hour, I should change hotels?! I'm just asking if you think this is the right way to treat guests? I personally returned to this hotel with my family and we had the intention of continuing to vacation here but obviously never again. I know that you won't go broke because of one family and I don't want that for you, but I would just like you to ask people if this makes sense!

Yemisi Godwin-Joshua ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Stay: 7th – 14th April 2026 This was our first time visiting Turkey, and honestly, we didn’t know what to expect—but it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our lives. We travelled as a group with my husband and children to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday, and everything about this trip was truly marvelous, fantastic, and unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The hotel management and staff treated us like kings and queens. I want to give special thanks to MD Sedar and the entire team for their outstanding support and kindness. I have never experienced such genuine care and attention before. The food was amazing—available 24 hours a day with so many options. Even as a fussy eater, I always found something delicious to enjoy, and there were plenty of choices for children as well. The service was top-notch; wherever you go in the hotel, staff are always ready to assist, bringing drinks and ensuring your comfort—even to your room. The hotel facilities are excellent. I highly recommend booking the spa package, which includes the sauna, steam room, Turkish bath, and massage. I came out feeling like a completely new woman! The beach is absolutely beautiful, with no stress over getting sun loungers. There is entertainment throughout the day, and the beach bar and buffet make the experience even more enjoyable. What stood out the most for me was the love, humility, and warm hospitality shown by every member of staff. They are welcoming, friendly, and truly dedicated to making guests feel at home. This holiday was glorious, and one of the best we have ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone around the world looking for an unforgettable experience. Thank you once again to the entire team—may God bless you all for the love and care you showed to me and my family during our stay.

Not 4 star but very happy with the hotel. Block 2 rooms very small for 2 adults and 1 child. Shower over bath quite difficult and unsafe to get in and out of. More professional evening entertainment such as tribute acts, comedians would be a great improvement. Lifts not sufficient for amount of people using them. Staff are brilliant, food plentiful and something for everyone. We were there for 1 week July 26 and are overall very happy with the hotel would be happy to go back again.

Adrian Bieńkowski

I really don't understand the negative reviews about this hotel. We stayed here with a group of friends, and we all had a fantastic experience. The rooms were cleaned every day, and we had a beautiful sea view from our room. The food was delicious and offered plenty of variety – everyone could find something they liked. There was a great selection of meat, fish, seafood, and even the desserts were really tasty. There was also grilled meat and grilled fish. A special thank you to the bartender Carlos for his positive energy, great vibe, and amazing cocktails! In fact, the entire hotel staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling. You can really see how hard they work to make guests feel welcome. Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable! 🤗 The beach is only about a 3-minute walk away through a lovely park with palm trees. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available on the beach for an additional charge. Every evening there were two different shows in different areas of the hotel. During the day there were also plenty of activities, so there was never a chance to get bored. The only downside was the sunbeds by the pool, as most of them were already reserved with towels early in the morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I hope to come back again in the future!

We absolutely loved this hotel and would rate it as one of the best 4-star hotels we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made a fantastic first impression. The entertainment was non-stop every evening, and most of the shows were absolutely fantastic. During the day, there were activities for all ages, so there was always something to do. One of the standout features was the Seed Room. It was perfect for our 4-year-old and gave us a chance to relax for an hour or two. It’s a safe, well-supervised nursery-style play area for children aged 1–4, and it’s completely free. For couples or single parents, this is an amazing bonus. The location is excellent too – just a few minutes’ walk from the shops, restaurants, and the beach. The hotel’s drink system was also brilliant. The reusable cups kept everything tidy, and you simply exchanged your cup for a clean one with each drink. There were four bars, a snack bar, self-service water (still, sparkling, and chilled), self-service ice cream, and soft drinks including Coke, Fanta, lemonade, and more. Everything was kept exceptionally clean. Free WiFi wow it’s perfect all over! Zero roaming charges. Omg the food was non stop, how I didn’t explode lol It’s very good food. 🍱 Even the little thing your hotel bracelet is. Your key card for your room you just swipe your wrist over the card reader and you’re in so no hassle losing cards. Brilliant 🤩 Overall, this is the best all-round hotel we’ve ever stayed in. A huge thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

Just had 10 nights in Sol II. The negatives first: Our room was small even for two people. On arrival our room on the 7th floor wasn't particularly clean, previous occupants tablets/pills were just left on a shelf. Another shelf was broken & filthy, as I noticed after I had ruined a shirt by putting it on the shelf. The safe didn't work and took 4 days and numerous requests to get it fixed. The air con was weak, the Internet signal was even weaker, and the tv had every speaking channel except english. On the whole the entire room needs a revamp. The pool area is large, but there's zero chance of a sunbed unless you get up in the middle of the night and put a towel on one, which is what i witnessed many times (british are by far the worst for this), the hotel states no reserving sunbeds, haha!!! People openly smoking and vaping all around the pool area despite there being a designated area, but hotel staff just allow it. In fact vaping indoors was completely ignored by hotel staff also. In Sol II children were allowed by their parents and staff to run riot indoors, especially in the lounge/TV area, on many occasions playing football in this area, some kids even running about in the "restaurant" where there's obviously hot food and drink. The nightly entertainment was cheap and low quality, only the Queen tribute act were imo any good, they should have been on the large outdoor stage instead of some of the rubbish that was on there. The positives: Our room was, except for our first day, cleaned really well. The location of the hotel is excellent, it is so close to the beach, restaurants and bars that offered far better entertainment than the hotel. We tried all the drinks and all were fantastic, loved the cocktails. I would give 10 out of 10 for all the meals, morning, noon and night. There was plenty of options and we never had a bad meal, the snack bar was great also. I see people complaining about the lack of lifts, but thats because people staying on floors 1 to 6 are using the lifts intended for floors 7 and above, so not the fault of the hotel. Despite the negatives, I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday and love Mallorca, I'm just not sure I could recommend this hotel to other people, just my opinion

Easily the worst food at an all inclusive I have ever experienced. The water tastes like Chlorine, the Tuna is cremated, the fruit tastes of chemicals and even the Weetabix let me down. When its busy forget about getting a sun bed, staff are decent but im not blown away in any way shape or form. If you come here thats on you. I wouldnt come back if you paid me.

I had the pleasure of staying at Winds of Lara for a week, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The level of service and hospitality exceeded my expectations, and every member of staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. A special mention goes to Hotel Manager Mustafa Cosar, whose professionalism, kindness, and genuine willingness to help made a real difference. He was always approachable, attentive, and ensured that everything was taken care of throughout my stay. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and offered a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home I will certainly be returning for another holiday in the future.

We recently stayed at the Wind of Lara Hotel, and to say it was amazing would be an understatement. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The quality of service, the hospitality of the staff, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel were top-notch. Every single detail was well thought out to ensure guests have a flawless stay. The food, the amenities, and the cleanliness genuinely exceeded our expectations. We had such an incredible time that we’ve already decided this will be our go-to destination for next year. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our vacation so memorable. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Wind of Lara Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly and made us feel so welcome. The Aqua Gym team were absolutely fantastic so energetic, fun and engaging every single day. They got everyone involved and made the pool activities one of the highlights of our holiday! The entertainment team was just as incredible. There was something for everyone, and it was so much fun for both adults and children. Our whole family looked forward to the shows every night. Thank you for such a memorable holiday we can't wait to come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

it is a really enjoyable all inclusive resort in lara, antalya, offering a great combination of comfortable rooms, good service and excellent location. the rooms are spacious, modern and generally well maintained, making them a comfortable place to relax after a day out. the staff are mostly friendly and helpful although the level of service can sometimes be inconsistent. the location is one of the hotels biggest strengths, as it is close to antalya airport and the lara/kundu area, while the hotel’s beach and shuttle make getting to the coast convenient. there are also plenty of facilities to keep guests entertained, including swimming pools, water slides, restaurants, entertainment and a spa. the main disadvantages are that the resort can become quite busy during peak periods, and i have experienced issues with housekeeping, maintenance and service. it is modern, fun and family friendly resort that offers a lot for money although it doesn’t quite reach the level of truly luxurious flawless 5 star experience.

Adnan Ahmed

Had a lovely time in this hotel. The rooms were decent. AC didnt work on the last night but they provided us with a portable industrial cooler and offered us another room. Cleaners weren't cleaning every day for some reason. Food was nice and had different options each night for meat. Use get your guide as excursions instead of hotel agents as they are 3x more expensive.

Brett Keith

The good bits: staff were fabulous, room facilities were also great. The hotel setting was breathtaking - amazing views from the hotel seafront. The room aircon was excellent as well (a must when it's 26C at 2AM in August). The not so good: a little removed from civilisation (some might say thats a plus!), our particular room had a rather rotten smell most of the time, and our premium bungalow view was of the back of the bungalow across the little path. The 'garden view' advertised was of a hedge, a little tree and some grass that lined the path. Oh, and the tops of some trees that overlook the sea (if you were in a different room). I think the ground floor ones at the back are just too low. The neutral: the all inclusive food was 'ok.' The drinks were adequate, though the cola wasn't that fizzy and the wine was definitely not premium. All in all a very nice place then. The hotel seafront with jetty and bar/restaurant were also great in the evening, with views of Marmaris and Icmeler to relax to over a drink. I would certainly stay again and recommend, though I would request a different bungalow 😉

We loved our stay at the Labranda Mares Hotel. Our room was lovely and spacious. The reason for my 4 star for the room was just because after the first day there was a bad smell coming from our double room which was a bit off putting. The staff were super friendly. Loved just spending time at the pool and on the beach. The jet ski was super fun! Food was tasty but just got a little repetitive as it does with all inclusive. Restaurants were not far from the hotel. About a 10 minute walk which was very convenient. The whole complex is kept very clean. The evening entertainment was different every night which was fun to see. Although it was hard to get a seat to sit and watch but we didn't mind standing. I'd love to come back to this hotel again. Marmaris is a place you just can't get bored! There is so much to do.

Anna Shustina

I highly recommend this hotel! The food is great, and the location is amazing—it feels like you're right in the middle of a forest. It's very peaceful and romantic. The customer service is also wonderful. A big thank you to Esra for resolving all of our room issues! All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Massimo Pignatiello

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Labranda Mares Marmaris! Everything exceeded our expectations. The food was simply fantastic, with a great variety of delicious dishes every day and excellent quality. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. They truly made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the day we left. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location is stunning, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for a memorable holiday. Every detail was taken care of, making our stay truly special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation in Marmaris. We will definitely be coming back!

I honestly cannot believe this hotel is advertised as a 5-star resort. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Our room had numerous cockroaches, which may have been due to how dirty it was. After repeatedly complaining, we were moved to another room that was somehow even worse. There were crumbs in the bed, stained couches and pillows, empty fruit juice boxes hidden behind the countless cushions on the sofa, and a rusty shower that barely produced any water. The customer service was extremely disappointing. Staff often seemed more interested in drinking tea or preparing their own breakfast during breakfast service than assisting guests. The food was below average, and unfortunately my 2-year-old became sick with what appeared to be food poisoning during our stay. Housekeeping was practically non-existent. During the 5 days we stayed, our bedsheets were never changed, the room was never properly cleaned, and the beds were never made. We were a family of five, yet housekeeping only provided two towels per day. The entire property felt neglected, unhygienic, and far below the standard expected of a resort. I wouldn't even rate this hotel as a 2-star property. If you're looking for comfort, cleanliness, quality service, or a relaxing holiday, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Rahul J

Overall, SBH Maxorata Resort was okay and I would rate it closer to a 3-star hotel than a 4-star. The hotel is clean and in a great location, with the beach opposite and shops and restaurants within walking distance. There is also a good choice of pools. However, the hotel is in need of maintenance and refurbishment. The food was repetitive, often not very hot, and the snack bar served the same things every day. We were also disappointed that the second restaurant was closed throughout our stay. Most bar staff, waiters and the animation team were friendly, but some reception staff came across as moody and rude. Charging €4.50 per day to use the room safe was ridiculous. A lovely touch was the birthday surprise – a bottle of cava, a card and a specially decorated dinner table, which was much appreciated. Overall, there were some positives, but I expected more from a 4-star hotel.

Bethany Tyler

After reading some of the reviews was abit nervous about staying here. The hotel is in a good location, good views, very close to the beach and local shops. Food was okay, a good selection, always warmish, didnt eat at the pool bar but always looked like a good selection. Good selection of drinks at pool bar. Staff were friendly and helpful Hotel rooms were always clean and tidy however hotel needs some serious maintenance, could do with a really good freshen up, and more attention to cleaning in communal areas, especially as this is a 4 star hotel. Could also do with a second bar as the only bar is around the busiest pool and the other pools are abit far from the pool bar. Also a warning that the transfer is a long one from the aiport. Could also maybe do with some more up to date sunbeds ( always plenty around the pool though) Spa was a little disappointing, sauna was out of order and was abit disappointed no indoor pool. Although the massage was lovely and the staff very nice. Overall a nice stay, nice weather, okay food. But would I stay here again no

I was here for two weeks and can definitely recommend this hotel. The staff was always very friendly and nice, especially the bar staff like Manuel and Adriana, a cook and one of the ladies in the restaurant, and the reception chief always had a smile and some sweet greetings for you. My room was located at the 3rd level, a regular double bed room for me alone, with a lot of clean space and a comfortable bed. The room provided some hangers perfectly for your clothes, washing stuff for showering, two mirrors (one in bathroom, one body mirror in the floor), clean towels, a refrigerator to keep your drinks cold, and a lot more stuff. My room got cleaned and the towels got changed daily. The food changes every day, from rice and chicken to lasagna, some salads and bread, desserts and a few drinks. The bar has some drink options like regular soda drinks, beer and cocktails/mocktails. The pool (I mainly stayed at the one with two) was cold but once you got in you will definitely get used to it. They also had an adorable orange cat around, always loved to pet the little sweetie. The hotel is very family friendly, with different events throughout the day, such as Kids Disco and Karaoke at evening in the salon bar, or Aqua activities in the pool. There are a lot of shops and some restaurants nearby with a lot of variety so you will definitely find something there, if you don’t want to spend the whole day in the hotel only. The beach was very close, and the view was very beautiful. I was here with my dad, and no matter if you’re alone or with family/a loved one, with a disability or not, the service will make you feel included and satisfy you. I hope to come back one day for the great people working and the nice time spent here, I really enjoyed my stay.

Rooms was lovely and clean had everything we needed and more cleaners cleaned everyday and given fresh towels we was given a tour services was explained what was included in the all inclusive including spa, food, drinks, gym, and plenty other facilities!! There is a on site shop with essentials and perfect for if you have forgotten something. The hotel walks straight out on to the beach and within a 5 minute walk there is a strip all the way down full of restaurants bars shops! Food was a very mixed with seafood chicken pork beef and plenty more options! The entertainment team was amazing! Very inclusive included all guest from all age ranges Luca and mortiz was amazing! Full engery at all times provided activities daily and night and always something different never repeated the same activity! There is a kids mini disco which even with just 1 child they would still up and continue the show and then do the adult one! Music was amazing was a mix of all types of music English, spanish, german, french and was always open to requests! Bar staff was lovely and had chatty conversations with customers and was always willing to help find a drink for me as someone who is very picky🙈 snack bar offers a variety of food daily and ice creams for the children and adults which is help urself to! Ive not one bad thing to say about this hotel i read reviews before coming and was abit scared for what i was going to be in for but for the price and everything included i can not complain and i will be back!! BIG SHOUTOUT TO LUCA AND MORTIZ FROM ANIMATION TEAM YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING AND DESERVE ALL THE CREDIT YOU MADE ARE WEEK AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO BEING BACK!

Kate McAteer

The staff were nice and helpful, especially Minimou (sorry i think that is his name) on the reception, he was amazing. For the money paid it is ok. Mine and many other people we met whilst at the resorts main problem was the queues for the bar. Most of the time to get 1 drink you would be waiting 30 mins and this is from day to late night. They only ever have 1 person working on a bar and the line is usually around 15-20 people long. Where it is so long people are doubling orders which makes the wait even longer. I would not go back for this reason mainly. The rooms were fine, clean and nice. Only issue was the fridge did not work and the air con wasnt great.

Richard Hemming

We really like the hotel. Very helpful staff in the restaurants, bars and on the beach. The Animations team are great, fun and get you involved in all the events. Ali and his team on the beach have been so kind and helpful especially for my wife with mobility issues. All made for a great holiday. Thank you Barceló

JASMIN MORICI

We are having a wonderful time here in Barcelò, the animation team is incredible and makes you wanna party and play with them! The service is awesome and they are all so kind and professional. There’s a direct enter in to the riff and that’s incredible and tha water and the beach are so clean and tidy! I really recommend coming in here :)

Alex Self

Hotel is lovely. Set out well with a main focus point for restaurant and reception. Rooms are clean and looked after. Sunsets are incredible. Remember to haggle everywhere. Including the onsite shops. Ride the camel Zoltan! He’s lovely as is the owner and loves some fresh fruit off the restaurant table ;) staff are 50/50, some are polite and some nod or grunt at you. The food isn’t warm unless it’s fresh of the grills like you’d expect in most places abroad. Don’t forget your mosquito spray and a lot of sun cream as most items like that are £10 each at the shops. Been incredible nonetheless due to weather and the swim up pool room to cool off in.

Niamh Michaels

The service at this hotel was amazing! We stayed for a week and all of the staff were extremely attentive. We stayed in one of the room with a private pool, the rooms were cleaned daily and really nice the view was beautiful. We spent a lot of time around the main pool and Mohamed on the pool bar was amazing and definitely made our holiday 10/10 his service was great and the drinks were the best I’ve had! Ali and mustafa around the pool and beach were also amazing and made us feel extremely looked after! All 3 restaurants had great service aswell and had a good selection of food that varied everyday. I will definetly be coming back and wish we could have stayed longer.

Stayed here at beginning of May and very happy with our stay. Stayed in a studio and had a lovely view of the beach through the window which opens wide. Our room was massive, huge kitchen/ living area and very spacious bedroom and large bathroom. For the price we paid definitely happy. They sell 5l bottles of water at reception for 1.50€ which was great, there's a Spar close by to top with fridge up with beers/food ect. The pool is a good size and enough beds around for the people we found although we only stayed there for one of the days due to the beautiful beach at the bottom and a couple of day trips. The breakfast wasn't various but was included so we made due. On the last day we went to barbacoa for breakfast and it was brilliant! About 10€ for a big full English and well worth it. The bar there isn't always open but in the evenings we went to the local bars/restaurants (about 10 minute walk away) and the stand out is Barbacoa, has a show on every night, the drinks are cheap and the food was excellent for the prices. The walk to the beach in the morning took about 25/30 minutes and wasn't too much. There a taxi rank just off the beach that takes you back to the hotel for about 5€. Well worth it as did not want to walk back up! For the price very happy with the hotel, thw closeness and view of the beach and the ease of getting to the local centre for food, drinks and entertainment. Would come back and wouldn't hesitate about booking here again.

🌅 A Dream Stay in the Hills of Gran Canaria – Stunning Sea Views & Total Relaxation This is a clean four-star hotel with full amenities, offering everything you need just like a well-equipped home. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and feature excellent balconies with beautiful sea views. The fresh ocean and mountain air is truly refreshing. It’s perfect for couples and families alike. The swimming pool is clean and overlooks the sea, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, professional, and always willing to help. There are shops, supermarkets, and a variety of restaurants nearby. It’s a wonderful place for morning and evening walks — the combination of sea breeze and mountain air feels amazing. One important note when booking: the hotel is located up in the hills. If you have difficulty walking or are traveling with very small children, the uphill paths may be challenging. However, if you’re comfortable with walking, it actually becomes part of the charm and enjoyment of the stay. If you rent a car, there is absolutely no problem at all — parking is plentiful. Simply driving around the town is not enough; you should not miss the breathtaking mountain views, forests, heights, and clouds. In summary, unless you have difficulty with walking, this is one of the best places to stay in Gran Canaria. ⭐ Personally, I believe this hotel fully deserves five stars, and I confidently give it a 5 out of 5 rating.

We returned home yesterday after a 5 night stay for my wife’s birthday. We have booked to return next October. We struggled to pick fault with anything, we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment ( room 105 ) and it was perfect for us, although it was next to the road, it was quick access for us to the car 😀 sun loungers on the balcony and the sun in full swing for us from around 12:30 untill sunset wich made relaxing outside the room perfect for the afternoon. A reasonable gym, could do with more free weights but it’s adequate for a cheeky session. Pool is warm and clean ✅ but you will need towels, the room towels provided are not ideal as abit small. The walk down to Amadores beach and back is tough, but we like to get the steps in 👟 we walked to Puerto Rico and back, that day stacked up just over 10miles 🤣 but it’s do-able, after all there is no rush on holiday right? So location, I think is good, we did hire a car but you can walk to the europa Center in around 10 mins wich has lots of food places and bars, you can walk to Peurto Rico via Amadores also. Car parking outside is good 👍 it’s a quiet hotel, very small restaurant ( we didn’t use this ) breakfast didn’t look much. You have a well equipped kitchen in room but food prices in supermarkets are very expensive so it’s pretty much cheaper to eat out. Staff are helpful and nice, 100 euro deposit on arrival and that was returned by 3pm the day we left 👌 If you’re looking for a clean, quiet hotel with a great view then do not hesitate to book 👌my advice is, hire a car, take some good comfy foot wear for walking and enjoy it.

These apartments are a great place to stay — amazing view, excellent service, and clean, comfortable rooms. Everything is well-maintained and the staff is helpful and friendly. The only downside is that without a car, it’s not very convenient. Walking to and from the beach or town can be long and tiring, especially in the heat. Still, the quality and comfort make it worth the stay. If you have a car, it’s a perfect choice for a relaxing holiday.

Amazing apartments, with incredible views, lovely pool area, plenty of sunbeds, spacious apartment, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine, great air conditioning, plenty of storage space and really clean. Lovely staff, has pool and table tennis. Slight negatives - no air con in the gym, the bar isn’t great, expensive drinks and the beds are quite hard. But apart from that amazing and would totally recommend.

Baptiste

Very nice stay at this hotel! We had a small issue upon arrival as our sea view room wasn't available right away, but the reception team was super helpful and moved us the next day. The food was okay, but the pools are great (even if a few spots could be a bit cleaner). Overall, great value for money!

A very quiet location only the 3 Alua hotels , a minmart and one small supermarket. Hotel runs a free shuttlebus to Punta Prima which is booked at reception. The entertainment team were fabulous and the hotel does guided walks twice a week which I highly recommend . Pleunie , one of the entertainment team was an absolute star , always engaging with the guests and had great knowledge of the area. Worth paying extra for the sea view , it is a full sea view not just a side one. Cleaning wasnt up to standard as usual gor a 4 * hotel, sometimes floor not swept or shower cleaned . Insufficient towels left and cups not cleaned . Always sunbeds available around the pool . Visited mid june

Just spent a very enjoyable week at this hotel. All staff very helpful. Restaurant excellent, good selection of food at each meal (we were all inclusive) Entertainment team were good fun, especially "Pleunie" the Dutch lady. Tom and Noah were good too. Bruno was a bit too serious. There were plenty of sports available, including archery, bowls and petanque.

We have had a fantastic stay at Alua Illa de Menorca, and we would especially like to thank Chef Nicholas for the exceptional care and attention he provided throughout our holiday. As someone with coeliac disease, eating away from home can often be stressful, particularly at a buffet restaurant. From the very first meal, Nicholas went above and beyond to ensure everything was safe to eat. He carefully checked every food item, and if something didn't have a gluten-free symbol, he would personally take a photograph of the ingredients and show us so we could make an informed decision. What really stood out was his consistency and genuine care. At every meal, Nicholas welcomed us warmly and made a point of checking whether we needed any assistance. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail gave us complete confidence and allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday without worrying about food safety. Nicholas is a tremendous asset to the hotel and deserves recognition for the outstanding service he provides. Thank you for helping make our stay so enjoyable and stress-free. We hope the hotel knows how lucky they are to have him and can't wait to see him again next year.

Well I've just got home after a week at this hotel and wow what can I say, I've never been to such a warm friendly hotel. The hotel is exceptionally clean everywhere, the rooms are spacious with great views of the sea and pool area, and the entertainment at night is good and varied. The pool is refreshing and the food is lovely and hot, especially the breakfast, and each evening there is different theme for dinner. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you especially the sous chef. Location is quiet which suited me but short taxi or bus ride takes you into town. The beach at Punta Prima is stunning and well worth a visit, only 8 mins by taxi. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone and hope to return soon.

Overall, we had a lovely family holiday and definitely came home rested ❤️ But there were some good and not-so-good things. 🏨 Hotel: The hotel itself and the grounds were very clean and well maintained. Our family room was lovely, with a beautiful balcony/sea view. The pools were great, the beach was very close and there were always sunbeds available. 👩‍🍳 Staff: Honestly, one of the best things about the hotel! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The bar staff actually came to serve you at your sunbed/table, which was amazing — no need to keep walking to the bar. Tips were definitely expected, though! 🍽️ Food: This was probably our biggest disappointment. The buffet was quite small for such a large hotel, the food wasn’t particularly attractive and a lot of it was very oily. Even getting an omelette meant standing in a queue 😅 We never went hungry, but compared with some other holidays, the food could definitely be better. 🎭 Entertainment: Unfortunately, not really our thing. We found the evening shows quite boring and underwhelming. But entertainment team staff was very friendly tried they best. 🚐 Transfer: Almost 3 hours from the airport 😩 and the journey through the towns was quite a shock — lots of rubbish and unpleasant smells. Because of the heat, we also didn’t really feel like going out exploring. 🏍️ We did go quad biking, which was great fun! 🌡️ One thing to mention — the temperature difference between the air-conditioned room and the outside heat was HUGE. My son had some stomach problems during the holiday and I ended up with a runny nose, sore throat and headache. Could have been the AC, the change of climate or simply a virus — who knows! ✨ Overall: We enjoyed our holiday, especially the hotel, pools, beach, room and amazing staff. Would we come back to this hotel? I don't think so. Would we choose Tunisia again? Probably not our first choice. But hey… no cockroaches, so that’s already a win! 😂🪳❌

Just came back from a 2 week stay at the iberostar Royal el mansour. The hotel outdid all our expectations in every area. The food was delicious with a huge variety daily. The staff were always super friendly and helpful, always with a smile. The highlight was definitely the amazing entertainment team who went above and beyond to keep everyone entertained and involved in the fun activities. They were all incredible and a special shout out to Leo, Samir and Pika with whom we created a special bond. Thank you for making our holiday extra special. We will definitely be back.

Wael Bargougui

The animation team was fantastic — always active and engaging, keeping the energy up throughout the day. Service was excellent as well, and I appreciated that the staff treated everyone equally, whether Tunisian guests or foreign tourists — no difference in how we were welcomed or served. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, though the view faced the street rather than the sea/pool area. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing in advance if a view matters to you. Overall, a solid experience thanks to the animation and service quality. Animation : 10/10 Service : 10/10 Room : 10/10 view : 5/10 Restaurant : 10/10

We had an amazing stay overall, and a huge part of it was thanks to the entertainment team! Every day they brought incredible energy, positivity, and fun activities for everyone. From games by the pool to evening shows, they made the atmosphere lively and enjoyable for both adults and kids. The team was always friendly, welcoming, and full of enthusiasm, and they truly made our vacation more enjoyable. However, there were also some disappointing aspects regarding cleanliness and hygiene. I noticed that the dishes and glasses often did not seem properly cleaned. One time I ordered a mint tea and the glass still had lipstick marks on it. I also saw that the glasses at the outdoor bar were being washed by hand instead of in a dishwasher with high temperatures for proper sanitization. Many things simply did not feel as clean as they should have been for a hotel of this standard. I believe the hotel should pay much more attention to hygiene and cleanliness, as this is extremely important for guests’ comfort and health. During our stay, I even developed a cold sore, which made me even more concerned about the hygiene standards. The entertainment team truly deserves praise, but improving cleanliness would make the overall experience much better.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to families with children. The food is absolutely fantastic, with a huge variety of delicious dishes that cater to both adults and kids. The hotel is impeccably clean—every corner is maintained to the highest standard, making the entire stay feel comfortable and relaxing. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible range of activities for children. There are countless entertainment options throughout the day, ensuring that kids are always engaged, having fun, and creating unforgettable memories. The animation team is outstanding—energetic, professional, and genuinely caring. They do an amazing job keeping both children and adults entertained. The staff are exceptionally kind, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile, making guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive. And the beach? Simply breathtaking. Crystal-clear water, beautiful sand, and stunning views create the perfect setting for a dream vacation. Overall, this hotel exceeds expectations in every aspect and is an excellent choice for families looking for outstanding food, top-notch service, endless activities for children, and a truly beautiful beachfront experience. Highly recommended!

Aleksandar Bozovic

Amazing hotel for families. Lots of activities, both day and night shows. Great beach, lots of sunbeds and food options. Big rooms with a good size terrace. If you can, stay in the quieter part of the hotel closer to beach across the street. The only negative is that bar is usually full and waiting time to get a drink is long. Also, dinner time span is very short (only 2 hours) and during our 7 days stay; a couple of nights we had to walk a lot around restaurant until somebody finishes. Not many meat options. All together, good value for the money

Lucy Smith

Just returned from a 10 day stay here and we have had a fab time would 100% recommend! Transfer not to long, rooms cleaned daily! Fantastic food choices, right near the beach! Entertainment was so much fun - Usain is an absolute credit to the hotel!

Lee Pedley

Spent the last 10 days here and the resort itself is great with lots of facilities within, however the thing that let this down was the service which was very poor. Staff not very attentive and can be quite unhelpful and rude. Especially the reception staff, who were the worst. The cleaning staff are amazing and very helpful and leave the rooms spotless. Rooms are very small for a 5 star hotel, and are all the same size, we exchanged for a swim up room. The manager at the hotel was amazing, he did everything he could to make our stay fantastic, and during our stay a lot of things were corrected throughout so half way through our stay things did improve dramatically, so he does listen and he takes our comments on board. For instance the queues to the bar were long, especially for those just wanting a beer, as cocktails that most people wanted did make the queues very long. So he brought in a separate movable bar just for beer, so as mentioned he was amazing throughout. A real credit to the hotel, and I am sure with him onboard the hotel will only get better as he makes the changes within the hotel. All in all we did have a good time, and enjoyed the facilities within.

Laura Robertson

Absolutely fantastic stay and would 100% be back. The variation of food stands outside and having the burgers open till 4am was brilliant and very enjoyable. The pools were great too, lots of activities and no rush for sunbeds either as lots available! Usain and the entertainment team were amazing, even taking us to the nightclub on Sunday night! They made sure to always come over and speak with us and we loved getting to know them! Mehmet and Hamza at the bar were brilliant too (as were all the bar staff!). Mehmet always made sure to ask us if we wanted more drinks and was so friendly! Would also highly recommended the spa but make sure you aren’t sunburnt before! Would come back to this hotel without question :)

Over the years travelling to many resorts this definitely wouldn't be classed as a 5 star. Now if your mainly go to 3 star resorts this would be amazing for you. But 5 star you will be disappointed. Evening kids entertainment aint really the best, it definitely didn't keep the kids entertained! Saying this the adults that love to drink we saw were having a good time. The hotel rooms are small and we had a large group with different rooms. Grond floor family rooms have a very bad smell and loads of ants. The higher tier rooms (cost extra) were much better but far from five star. Hotel staff weren't the most kindest refusing kids from ice cream and sweet counters. Bar staff seemed like they had enough, and you could tell they weren't happy being there. We seen cockroachs in the down stairs bar hygiene wasn't really the best. Food options were the same across all the resort with a few minior changes at the buffet. The kebabs at the beach bar were probably the best on the whole food menu but eating the same thing every day gets off putting very quickly. Ocean view rooms are only partially you hardly see the ocean. However theres stunning views of the mountain are breathtaking! Health and safety by far the worst we have seen and other holiday makers said the same thing. Anti slip mats only in certain places around the pool so walk carefully. Our child was walking, slipped and cracked her head and was rushed to hospital. The on site doctor was very good. The hotel manager tried too offer us compensation later that week in a meeting. We kindly refused and asked him to put anti slip mats around the pool. One week later this was still not done. Holiday rep was very friendly he also said the issue with anti slip mats has been a daily issue, and we are not the first. We did witness a fair few people slip. Location is nice if you want some peace but the actual centre is a good 15 minutes drive, thats were its extremely busy. 30 to 40 minutes the other way (Antaliya) you will get to the old town if you like shopping its a popular bazaar thats open till late. The bazaar around the hotel are over priced as they know they dont really have any competition there. Overall not a bad hotel but 100% not a 5 star. I would say a very good 3 star. If you can live with above book it, if not look elsewhere - lara beach area - concorde 👌🏽 thank me later Photos attached showing no slip mats around one side of the pool where the steps are to climb in and out. No matter how slow you walk its extremely slippery.

Hi 12-08/19-08-2026 7 nights and 8 days was beautiful 😍 stay in bluesea callao garden that I enjoyed my rest with family. Room bit dated but big enough for stay and relax with separate bed room and leaving room and kitchen that I didn't use it as I was on all inclusive stay. Restaurant: I want to say that you've got everything food drink desert and breakfast just if you add HALLAL OPTION that will be great 👍. Swimming pool 3 big and clean with lot of sunbeds lot of activities day and night squash tenis snooker games drinks and snacks 😀 😋. Service the team starting from the reception to Restaurant finish by cleaners was amazing 👏 🤩 🙌 and helpful. A small village with everything you need we loved 😍 it me an my kids. For the cars owners or rentals parking available at all time. I want to say just thank you 😊 amazing hotel and staff keep it up I really recommend this place 👌

Stewart Logan

Came here for a week all inclusive. The rooms are ok but a bit dated. The food is ok if you're not a fussy eater. The alcoholic beverages are my only real complaint. The local spirits are 25% and the San miguel on tap must be some strange sort of all inclusive made brew to stop you enjoying it. The entertainment was really fun and we all had a good time but they need to stop messing with the drinks. You only get to drink out of a small plastic cup and they all smell a bit funny like the person's drink before you has flavoured the cup. Theres no internet or air con in the rooms.

Edward Wooderson

When I walked in the pretty impressive reception I thought I'd be in for a treat with this resort. But it's quite literally downhill from there. Down quite a steep incline to our apartment which was quite sandy and covered in tiny bugs The food was pretty terrible apart from one day where there was a pretty tasty sausage Good selection for fussy eaters and the kids. Need to catch a busfor half an hour if you want to get to anywhere fun. Our 3 year old loved it though. And the staff were AMAZING! with her A good place if your not too fussy PS. Despite the advertising, there is ZERO WiFi in the apartments. So your buggered if the kids like the IPAD!!

Shivani Parmar

Absolutely loved our stay here. Literally everything you worry about as a traveller is fine: beds are comfy, food is tasty (good choice for vegetarians too, didn't struggle at all), fresh/washed bath towels changed regularly, shower has hot water and water pressure is good, sunbeds are plentiful and never any struggles to get one in the AM, staff are friendly, all of the guests were cool, no trouble or dramas here! The only thing I would say is there is a lot of uphill/downhill so it might be an issue if you have a medical condition etc. Overall, I have loved my stay and would happily return :)

kerry blundell

We have just returned 4/8/2026 from a 5 night stay upon reading the reviews I was worried to arrive. The hotel is definitely in great need of redecoration but I didn’t find any serious issues as other travellers have documented. We had a large 2 bedroom apartment which was an amazing size for my family and I did not see one cockroach during our stay my only negative as the is no aircon in rooms only a fan we was lucky we was on 3rd floor so could keep doors open at night .We stayed all inclusive breakfast was worse meal of day not much option for us lunch and dinner better but repetitive at times. Also with all inclusive icecream had to be purchased separately at the bar which was disappointing. Another big thing was a lot of walking up hill which is difficult in 36 degree heat so for people with mobility issues I would think twice about booking.Overall I think it was a good holiday of you want 5⭐️this place is not for you.

Adrian Sandu

The location is beautiful, and the hotel itself looks nice. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but unfortunately the service does not match the price we paid. Compared to other 5-star resorts we have stayed at in Turkey for a similar price, this has been the weakest experience. There are many small details that make a difference. For example, popcorn and slush at the evening show are not included and have to be paid for. Even the doughnut shop at the hotel entrance is an extra charge. There are also constant queues at the bars, and the staff service could be much better. Another disappointing detail is that there isn't even hair shampoo provided in the room—you have to buy it from the shop downstairs. Overall, the location is lovely and the rooms are fine, but the level of service is below what we expected from a 5-star resort at this price.

Vikingen Infinity – good holiday, but very disappointing experience with On the Beach reps in hotel. We enjoyed our stay at Vikingen Infinity and overall had a good experience. I travelled as a solo parent with my son, and we found the hotel to be reasonable for the price we paid. The reception staff were always polite, friendly and willing to help whenever we needed anything, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience with the On the Beach representatives at the hotel was very disappointing. From the beginning, we found them rude and quite pushy. We were contacted about attending a meeting that we hadn't been told about. The following day, they called our room asking why we hadn't turned up and asking us to arrange a time to see them. The way this was handled felt quite intimidating. I explained that we hadn't been told about the meeting and that we probably wouldn't attend. Their approach seemed mainly focused on getting us to book excursions through them, and they didn't seem particularly happy when I said I wasn't interested. Later in the week, we went to the reps to ask about arranging an airport transfer. The man and lady were both extremely rude, and the man told us that because we hadn't attended the meeting, they wouldn't book us onto the airport transfer. It was difficult not to feel that this was because we hadn't spent our money with them on excursions. We had actually found cheaper excursions through Travel With Me in Alanya, and the difference in customer service was huge. They were helpful, professional and reasonably priced. They also arranged our airport transfers for us. I booked Land of Legends through Travel With Me and also booked a city tour. Unfortunately, I ended up cancelling the city tour because it was the day after Land of Legends and I was too tired. The customer service was excellent — there were no questions, no pressure and no intimidation about why I was cancelling. They simply dealt with it professionally and were polite and understanding throughout. I would definitely recommend them to anyone travelling to this part of Turkey. As for the hotel itself, the food probably won't be for everyone, but we managed to find plenty that we liked and there was a good variety of options. Overall, we had a good holiday and the Vikingen staff, particularly the reception team, were great. However, we probably wouldn't return to the hotel. The biggest negative for us was our experience with the On the Beach representatives. One thing I can say for certain is that I won't be booking another holiday through On the Beach after this experience.

Beautiful place, good location, lovely atmosphere, great food, great service Please be a little more attentive to the events organized in the evening; many people don’t know what’s going on or what’s being organized in the evening. I have to say that I was disappointed in this regard. Personally, given the capacity and quality of this hotel, events could be organized much better, and I hope that all hotel guests are better informed about the events taking place. Otherwise, I’m looking forward to planning another vacation here 🤗

Leighton Smart

Despite what some reviews say, we went with it and couldn't be happier. The rooms are clean and air conditioned, the facilities are immense and there is a vast number of pools and bars and food options. They even have on tap iced coffees! The water parks are brilliant, the sea is clear and warm, I cannot fault one single bit of the resort, the staff the food the pools anything, all amazing.

Buse Balci

The hotel was good. The highlight of our stay was definitely the animation team—they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made every activity so much fun. A special thank you to Tanya, who was absolutely amazing. She brought so much energy, made everyone feel included, and really helped make our holiday memorable.

We stayed at SBH Fuerteventura Playa in July 2025 with our 5-month-old baby and feel compelled to warn other families. From check-in to departure, the experience was completely unacceptable: • Check-in delay: We waited 1.5 hours for our room keys with a baby, after a long journey. • Misleading advertising: The hotel looks nothing like the photos online; it feels closer to 2–3 stars. • Infestation & hygiene issues: Our room had mosquitoes, ants, and large cockroaches. We even had to buy our own insect diffuser to protect our baby. • Room lock & safety: Our door lock broke, leaving us unable to access our baby’s milk for over an hour. Reception repeatedly claimed they could not help because staff were alone. • Poor management & understaffing: Long queues at the pool bar and kitchen, with staff overwhelmed and visibly stressed. Hygiene standards were low. • Food poisoning & quality: Buffet meals caused illness, and overall food quality and taste were extremely poor. • Receptionist failures: Requests such as dinner reservations were mishandled or ignored. The hotel director ignored our formal complaints, showing clear incompetence in managing guest safety and satisfaction. We cannot recommend this hotel to families or anyone expecting a safe, hygienic, and well-managed 4-star experience. Save your money and avoid this property.

Where do I begin….we stayed at this hotel for 8 days and they continuously disappointed us. To start, we checked into our room and it absolutely STUNK of sewage and death. No matter what we did, the smell did not go away. We told the front desk about the terrible smells and they didn’t do anything to accommodate or help. So unfortunately we were stuck with a disgustingly smelly room for our whole stay. Next the buffet food - absolute worst we’ve ever experienced. All the same stuff everyday, no flavor, very random combinations that don’t cater to everyone, cold, undercooked, overcooked, dirty plates and glasses. Let alone the cooks didn’t even know what they cooked when we asked them (since barely anything was labeled) The drinks - didn’t expect the best since it’s an all inclusive but most cocktails were just juice and sugar, barely any alcohol or good taste. The wine tasted like vinegar or apple juice, barely even wine. The beer was the best thing. Activities - there was a lack of things to do. Though we weren’t expecting anything crazy, they don’t cater to adults in anyway. Aside from the water aerobics in the morning, they barely play music by the pool. They spring “darts in 5 minutes” upon you but it all just seems lazy, outdated, and boring. The entertainers are good with the kids for the day and mini disco, but the adults entertainment at night is very tacky, effortless, and disappointing. Cleanliness- our floor had crumbs and pretzels from the person staying before, the sheets and pillow cases had stains, the bathroom absolutely stunk of sewage, the shower was old and moldy, & the balcony looked very outdated with cracks in the paint/ceiling. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay. The staff wasn’t very helpful. We had to chase down maids. The whole resort itself needs a big update and more up keep.

Not sure where the 4 stars came from – maybe they meant in a galaxy far, far away? The only nice thing I can say about this hotel is that the rooms are spacious. That’s it. Everything else feels like a masterclass in disappointment. Let’s start with the “all-inclusive” food situation. You have about a 30-minute window after lunch or dinner starts to get something edible, otherwise you’re left with scraps – and by that I mean bread and butter. Literally. If you're not in the queue early enough, your main course is watching someone else eat the last piece of grilled chicken. It's laughable. Calling it “all-inclusive” is like calling a vending machine a fine dining experience. Now, if you’re travelling as a couple – great, they’ve got you covered. But families? Good luck. 90% of the tables are for two people. If you’re hoping to sit and eat with your partner and kids, you’re in for a logistical puzzle every mealtime. The service? Mixed at best. Some of the waiters were lovely, and clearly trying their best. But the guy at reception – wow. Rude and unhelpful doesn't even begin to cover it. It was like we were bothering him just by showing up. Basic manners don’t cost a thing, and yet somehow they still felt too expensive for some of the staff here. Drinks? You’ll need to queue 20 minutes for a watered-down beer. They have one bar open for what felt like 500 people, and only one poor soul working behind it. Honestly, we ended up going out every evening just to get a decent meal and a drink that actually tasted like what we ordered. Yes, it’s a cheaper option, but if you’re hoping to actually enjoy your holiday, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Unless, of course, you're in the mood for bread, queues, and being ignored. In that case – this place is perfect.

I will try my best to be honest. Am I recommending this hotel or will go again?? Definitely not ,will explain why. There were positive points in staffs who were friendly. But negative points so many thins to talk about them. First of all we had to wait more than 2 hours of check in time to get our room. Reception staff had no idea when rooms will be available. And it was not just us there were 5-7 families were waiting same as us. We were 3 people but there were 2 pillows we had to wait more than 4 hours for another pillow. Room services you should go to reception and asked not just once at least 3-4 times so you could have empty bins at least. For pool you must go 6 am to reserve otherwise no chance to have space to use pool. This hotel is not clean and it s too old, uncomfortable beds, dirty toilets which were close to the pool, no bins with lid in women toilets so dirty pads everywhere in toilets, corridors’s carpet too old and dirty. Most of the walls were mouldy even in the restaurant. Drinks were okay, Foods were too much but quality was too bad. First half an hour of each eating time was okay but after that still too much food but in conditions that you wouldn’t feel good to eat. Most of the food like: chicken, meat even had not been cooked properly.

Rob henderson

We booked a family holiday here and were completely disappointed. The rooms, hallways, and kitchen were all filthy. The staff were rude, and the food was terrible, with very poor cleanliness throughout. Each evening, there was a huge queue for the all-inclusive bar. There is genuinely nothing positive to say about this place. Save your money and avoid the disappointment – go elsewhere. After we left the next few days apparently the kitchen was under lock and key and customers where been made to walk up the road to other hotels owned by sbh and use there services all week.

Overall, we have enjoyed our stay, but if I’m being completely honest, I don’t think we would return. Food: The main food was okay. Basically, it feeds you and that’s about it — nothing particularly special. With children, though, we really struggled at times. I absolutely cannot fault the snack bar. It was a godsend for us, as there was constantly something available to eat. Yes, it’s the same sort of food every day, but with kids that really doesn’t matter! They offer nuggets, burgers, hot dogs, chips, salad and fresh meats, so there was always something we could grab. Entertainment: Unfortunately, the entertainment wasn’t really for us. I personally didn’t feel that the entertainment team had much enthusiasm, although that’s just my opinion. Other people may really enjoy the activities, so I think this is definitely one of those things that comes down to personal preference. Pools: There are three pools to choose from, so you really can’t go wrong. The biggest issue for us was people taking other people’s belongings, particularly floats, when they clearly knew they weren’t theirs. It’s honestly just blatantly cheeky! If you’re coming here, I’d recommend marking your floats and belongings — I know it sounds extreme, but it has happened so many times while we’ve been here. Drinks: The drinks are what you’d expect from a basic all-inclusive. The queues can be a bit of a pain, but again, that’s just part of it. One thing that really made us laugh was the midnight shutdown. By midnight, it’s literally lights out, everything is done! We were still drinking our drinks when they actually turned the lights off on us. 😂 Staff: Overall, I haven’t had any major issues with the staff and there’s nothing specific I can raise as a complaint. However, I wouldn’t describe them as particularly friendly. The restaurant staff especially rarely smile and, unfortunately, often come across as if they’re miserable in their jobs. Overall: Have we enjoyed our holiday? Yes, we have. There are definitely positives, especially having the snack bar and three pools to choose from. But would we return? Probably not. I think there are better options out there, although we’ve still made some good memories and enjoyed our time away.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Club Cala Romani. without a doubt, the worst all-inclusive hotel I have ever experienced. The food was absolutely terrible,The quality was so terrible Breakfast was exactly the same every single day with very little choice. The snack selection was even worse every day the same thing warm bread with ham, burgers and chips. We paid for an all-inclusive package, but we ended up eating out at restaurants, as the food gave me and my son bad tummy’s. The service was very hit and miss. Another shocking issue was the WIFI for my little one’s iPad in all the hotels I’ve stayed at I’ve never been asked to pay such a high fee. Not an awful lot for younger children to do, never saw the kids club open, the park was always full of bigger kids the toddler pool is lethal. Also being woken up several nights on the trot in the early hours from screaming shouting and banging, people running up and down. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those expecting a genuine all-inclusive experience. It was a very disappointing holiday experience and certainly not worth the money. Rooms Rooms are not bad ,We didn’t get fresh bedding or towels every day it was clean but not throughly clean.but to watch tv you have to pay for remote control.

We did not expect a 5-star luxury experience, but this is literally the worst place we have ever stayed. We stayed for 10 nights, but it was so bad that one member of our party actually left early. The rest of us just counted down the days until we could go home. I know there will be backlash from some for writing this, but people need to know the truth. The hygiene levels at the pools were shocking, with both children and adults defecating in the water. The pool was closed 5 times in a single 24-hour period, which is nowhere near enough time to properly clean and sanitize the water. my son ended up quite poorly during the trip; we had to visit the doctors, and he is now on antibiotics with a severe ear infection The hotel food was also terrible and left us completely ill. We were forced to spend extra money eating out for the rest of the trip, completely wasting the money we had already paid for our food package. To top it off, The customer service here is appalling. A lady who identified herself as management stood behind the reception desk and openly spoke poorly about us in another language to another staff member. They both just kept looking at us and laughing right to our faces. The rest of the staff were incredibly rude too, and the entertainment was absolute rubbish. Other 3-star hotels are miles ahead of this place The only saving grace of the entire holiday was Restaurant Mallorca. The people there were lovely, and it provided a comfortable, welcoming place to sit and eat with my family away from the hotel.

I feel that this resort gets a lot of misleading reviews. First and foremost this is not a 5 star resort but it's very nearly a 4 star. I have given it 5 stars because it's exceptional value for money. I paid £1250 for a week all inclusive with my 5 year old daughter, during the school summer holidays!. Nothing else came close. My expectations were low after reading other reviews but all I cared about was a big, clean pool and not having to worry about feeding myself or my daughter. This place has delivered. The hotel is modern and the reception area brand new, clean and professional. The whole hotel was clean and fresh. The rooms modest and comfortable. We had a sea view and the A/C was very effective in the room (although motion activated to save energy, which was annoying during the night when it turned off). The resort is huge, the pools are massive and clean. There is one main pool bar with free cruzcampo larger and white and red wine and cocktails on offer and fizzy drinks dispensary and slushy machines for the kids. (Hack) buy the penguin cup for the kid, it frees up a plastic refillable cup for you to get an extra drink as sometimes the queues are 5-10 minutes at the bar and the drinks cups are small. The resort put on various free activities during the day around the pool and there is a Mini disco every night for the kids and a show after in their brand new air conditioned theatre/club/bar. There is a snack bar and poolside cafe and huge buffet restaurant and a second bar near reception. The daily food menu was very samie however lots of choice!. The rooms were cleaned everyday and ALL the staff were friendly and efficient. The gorgeous beach is a gentle downhill paved 10 minute walk and was beautiful. I'd 100% recommend this place and would return, hopefully the prices don't shoot up. The only thing I think some of the negative reviews relate to is that there are two other apartment blocks attached the resort which may be sister hotels but used as overspill. They're a bit dated and probably used by larger family groups. They have access to all the same facilities.

Amanda Marshall

Holiday here July 2026 for 10 days. Room is dated, aware that there are more modern rooms elsewhere so maybe in the process of refurbishment. We had ants at the start of our stay because there were remnants of food under the refrigerator. We spoke to the cleaners and they were very helpful with cleaning and bug spray. We were ant free after a couple of days. The dining room felt chaotic at times just didn't feel like enough food stations for the number of people. Snack bar was typical British food (burgers, hotdogs. Chicken nuggets, chips and toasties) would've liked more Spanish options. People smoking in the non smoking areas at the bar was disappointing too as the majority did move away from crowded areas but no one was policing the smokers that we could tell. We felt the children's disco was a bit slow compared to others. The beaches are a short walk away, Google maps would suggest longer ways but it's well signposted in the hotel. Lovely places to eat nearby and a few shops.

We had a fantastic stay at Royal Monica! We did have some reservations after reading some reviews, however we were pleasantly surprised. Yes the hotel is dated however they were working on this while we were there with no disruptions to us and you can see that it will look lovely once completed. Our family room was spacious, clean and the view from our balcony was beautiful. Our air conditioning didn’t work but they did offer us to move rooms, we found that we didn’t need this due to the breeze once the window was opened. They did compensate us for this not working. The pool was on the cooler side but didn’t affect us using it. One particular life guard was very attentive and made the poolside clean and tidy. Àkos with the entertainment team was fabulous, friendly and made us want to join in with the poolside entertainment/games. Evening entertainment was hit and miss, shame they didn’t do more karaoke or for longer as it seemed to be a hit with most people. We loved the food and could always find something to eat even for the pickier child. The location is more remote but we liked that, and being so close to the beach with private sun loungers was perfect. The staff were friendly and hard working. We will be returning!

Most of the pictures of the building are real. The hotel has cracked outside walls paint scabbing, doors that barely open/close. The location of it is decent, right on the sea side. The pools are small and the water is not clear and doesn't seem particularly clean. The bar is outdated and in need of renovation, the same for the tennis and volley, courts. Cracks and rust almost everywhere. On the other side, the staff is what made our stay amazing 👏! The staff are 5 ⭐️ , starting from the reception : Nyle, Angela and the older man with glasses - all of them are profesional, friendly and extremely helpful, they made the check in/ out process so smooth and quick, helped us with any queries. The restaurant staff were so friendly and efficient, we could not fault any of them , specifically Dan and Julian, they were so kind and attentive with guests that you could see that they enjoy their jobs. The animation crew was so small ( we only met Akos and Quentin in the whole week that we were there) , and it seemed that it was a afterthought. The kids club was almost non existent, the kids disco was really boring and didn't really captivated kids. The boys did try, I will admit that, however it needs more organisation. The food is again one of the highlights , as it was soooo delicious and cooked fresh 😋. So much variety and so flavour, we absolutely enjoyed every meal we had, and we never got bored of the menus. Also, the drinks were really nice, exactly what you need on a seaside . All in all, with the good and the bad, we would go again and we HIGHLY RECCOMEND the hotel!

We had a very enjoyable week at Royal Monica and would happily return. We arrived around 11pm and really appreciated that the hotel had left a cold buffet available for us. Check-in was easy, and although the room was basic, it was clean and perfectly suitable for a three-star hotel. Rooms are cleaned five days a week. The food was better than at many other all-inclusive hotels I have stayed in, with plenty of choice from breakfast until around 9:30pm. The pancakes and huge bowl of Nutella available for around four hours a day were great, although not helpful for my waistline! The pool is large, with plenty of sunbeds, and the pool bar serves snacks throughout the day. The private beach areas are a real highlight, with sea access, good snorkelling, lots of fish, and rocks where children can look for crabs. Fishing is also possible. As a single parent travelling with my five-year-old daughter, the kids’ club was brilliant. It runs from 11am–1pm and 3pm–5pm, and all the staff were friendly and especially good with children. The animation team also worked hard with daytime activities. Evening entertainment was mixed. We enjoyed the outsourced acrobatics and magic shows, but most nights were in-house quizzes, bingo and family games, which are not really my thing. This would not stop me booking again, though, as it is only a small part of the holiday. Areas for improvement would be some general TLC, a lick of paint in places and fridges in the rooms. I brought a small portable fridge after reading about this, which was very useful. There is an on-site shop open 9am–1pm and 5pm–9pm, and Playa Blanca is only €1.40 by bus. Flamingo Beach is around a 20–25 minute coastal walk away. The hotel attracts guests from across Europe. It seemed French-dominated at first, but later in the week there were many more British and German guests. Communication was never a problem as the staff spoke English. I did not use the gym or spa, so cannot comment on them. Overall, Royal Monica offers good food, a great pool, beautiful sea views and excellent facilities for young children. It is not luxury, but it is very good value for a three-star all-inclusive hotel.

Cerys

Me and my partner stayed here for a week, we are a young couple and honestly this hotel shocked us, we couldn’t believe it was only 3 stars. We payed for all inclusive and it was lovely the service was amazing although the food did get a tiny bit repetitive but still amazing. The rooms were so clean, also had a cleaner come in every single day cleaned the floors, bathroom, and made the beds look lush. The repetition staff were honestly incredible all of them were so lovely, I did have my bed break due to wear and tear no one’s fault and we went to reception and it was sorted out straight away we had a maintenance man come 10 minutes before his shift finished and still continued to sort it out he was amazing. The pool area was lovely lots of sun loungers, the pool bar was amazing - snacks and drinks all day long, also had a pool table, the service was amazing in there there was one lady called Sandra and she was so so lovely. Also the reps were really good, they’d always do games and it was be very inclusive they also would put on some type of game or show every night and the pool bar for example: bingo, music quizzes, acrobatics. One of the reps he was Hungarian (we keep forgetting his name) but he was the most genuine person ever my boyfriend asked him to play football and he went out of his way to go play football with just him for about an hour and half. Honestly couldn’t fault this place, the view is incredible lots of sun loungers on the beach. About a 5-7 minute drive from playa Blanca costing about €6 in taxi. 10/10 hotel. I’d recommend!

I returned from this hotel just two days ago, and while I may have stayed in more beautiful places before, I'm not so sure I've stayed in many better ones. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful at all times. Honestly, I find it hard to believe some of the reviews claiming that the staff are unfriendly. Our experience was exactly the opposite. The children's mini disco was held every evening, even on nights when there were only two children staying at the hotel. Special thanks to AKOS NAGY for his dedication. Despite the low attendance, he was always friendly, enthusiastic, and very attentive to our children. The food was consistently delicious. I also think that anyone claiming there is "no variety" in the food may have unrealistic expectations. Every day there were several different options available, including rice, potatoes, fries, fish, pork, and chicken, along with a wide selection of vegetables and salads. There were also traditional local desserts, ice cream, fresh fruits, yogurts, creams, and mousses. If someone considers this amount of choice insufficient, then perhaps no hotel would ever meet their expectations. To sum it up, yes, you can certainly find more luxurious and visually impressive hotels if you are willing to pay significantly more. However, for a 3-star hotel, this place more than meets expectations. We had a wonderful stay here and spent a very enjoyable holiday at the hotel.

Family Holiday at Evita Resort – Feedback We have now completed our 10-day family holiday at Evita Resort, and we would like to share our honest feedback. The family room was adequate, but it did not feel comfortable for a family with children. There was limited space to move around and store our luggage, and we expected a more practical and spacious layout for a family holiday. Our biggest disappointment was the food. Although there were many dishes available each day, we did not find the overall quality to be good. Most of the main dishes were pork, which made the options feel repetitive for guests who prefer other types of food. In addition, many of the dishes were extremely salty. During our stay, we politely spoke with a member of the kitchen staff and explained our concerns, hoping something would improve. Unfortunately, nothing changed, and the food remained the same throughout our holiday. The drink selection was also very limited. There were only a few choices, and the all-inclusive experience was below our expectations. The housekeeping staff deserve recognition because they cleaned the room every day and worked hard. However, despite their efforts, there were many small insects in the room, which was unpleasant throughout our stay. We booked a 10-day family holiday expecting a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Our biggest disappointment was the food because of its poor quality, the repeated focus on pork dishes, and the excessive amount of salt in many meals. We sincerely hope the management will take guests' feedback into consideration and improve the quality and variety of the main dishes so future guests can enjoy a better all-inclusive experience. Based on our overall experience, we would personally rate this hotel between 2 and 3 stars.

Kristjan Šorotar Strehar

A really good cost for what you get. The rooms could be a bit better as our room needed air conditioning on at all times because the sun shines directly into the windows and if i didnt have ac on full it would get too hot. The pillows could be better. But again this is not a luxury resort and you really still get more than you paid for. Food really good, drinks great, service and people are perfect and above standards.

Marcin Pietrzak

While the hotel and its amenities were fantastic—from the delicious food to the excellent pools and spacious room—my experience was completely ruined by one of the animators. His behavior was profoundly racist and offensive, including making inappropriate comments about the Holocaust and discriminating against Polish guests. Because of this, I cannot recommend this place.

Dolly

We had a wonderful experience! The service and atmosphere were excellent from start to finish. A special thank you to Sam, who was absolutely amazing with the entertainment. His energy and enthusiasm made our visit even more enjoyable. Kostas in the serving area was incredibly professional, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal not to forget Christine. Thank you to the whole team for making our visit so memorable. We will definitely be back !

We stayed at Evita Resort Rhodes as a family with our 2-year-old, and overall we had a really enjoyable experience. The resort was very family-friendly, which made traveling with a young child much easier and more relaxing. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, always happy to assist when needed. One of the highlights for us was the food. There was always plenty available, with lots of choice at every meal. We especially appreciated the Greek section, which gave us the chance to try local dishes alongside more familiar options. It made dining easy and enjoyable for both adults and our little one. A special mention has to go to Erika in the restaurant, who was always very pleasant and brought a smile to our faces with her friendly nature and sense of humour. The restaurant itself was also very well run, and credit to Costa for keeping everything efficient and organised, even during busy times. The atmosphere around the resort was relaxed and perfect for families, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. It’s a great option if you’re travelling with young children and want somewhere that offers good value, variety, and a stress-free environment. Overall, a lovely family holiday and a place we would definitely consider returning to.

It works on a card system, you pay onto a card and swipe on the machine. It's supposed to pay any tickets that you won onto the card and you can collect a prize if you have enough points. I don't think half the point registered on the card leading to a very disappointed child

Waqas Ali

Another decent place for kids as much as adults. It's about 5 mins away from the marmaris shopping area. It had a lot of fun things for kids to do. It had a few adult stuff to do such as pool. It also had a baby train which my son enjoyed

mohamad kasemagha

The period of each game is so short. No variety for the games.

Lileo Lilei

Oyun süreleri çok kısa, makineler çok bakımsız. fiyatlar çok yüksek. Ebeveynler çocuklarını üzmemek adına mecbur bu tuzağa en az bir kez düşer. Uzak durmanızı tavsiye ederim

Our daughter loves this place, you can have a wonderful time here with your children, I wanted to share it right away.

I have been to several radisson group hotels. This hotel is far far away from anything near radisson brand (standards, service, etc.) except radisson rewards which not even every staff unit knows about. No water dispenser at the corridors and no soap dispensers in the bathroom, most of rhg hotels updated to them! Front desk gave us a room with uncleaned toilet from previous guests, serious issues with housekeeping. That is the treatment for honeymoon vacation & longstay guests (this information was told to the fo staff multiple times!). Attached kettle picture that guest is supposed to use. Not even park inn level, but hey you are going under radisson individuals brand name!! Changing room to a higher floor is available for 20 eur/day, the next day it costs 50 euro. Even though the hotel does not have high-low floor categories! Wanted to order milkshake at the bar - we don’t have it. What about mohito - ran out of mint. And it lasted three days until i gave up on getting mohito. Lack of fruits at breakfast. Check out time is 11:00 in the morning which is very unusual for radisson hotels. When we arranged and confirmed late check-out with fo staff and went back to the room we got a visit from housekeeping supervisor while changing clothes!! No knocking, nothing. Fo should have pass this info to a housekeeping to avoid such unpleasant situations. Overall, hotel should be closed, fully renovated, staff freshly educated basic yes i can! fundamentals and only after the hotel can try to operate under radisson hotels group brand name

Deac Dariu

We stayed at the hotel for one week, so we had plenty of time to experience everything it has to offer. The Positives: Staff & Service: The reception team was very polite, professional, and helpful. As a Radisson Member, I really appreciated that they accommodated our advance request for a room upgrade with a king-size bed, as well as granting us a late check-out. Breakfast & Pool: The breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of food options. The pool area was also great and well-maintained with clean water. Good location: Near the clubs for the young generation Areas for Improvement: Dinner Buffet: Unlike breakfast, the dinner buffet was underwhelming. There were very few options to choose from, and beverages were not included in the meal—not even tap or bottled water. Shower: The water pressure for cold water was extremely weak. While the hot water had decent pressure, the temperature control did not work properly, making the water uncomfortably hot regardless of the setting. Air Conditioning (Major Issue): Guests should be aware before booking that individual room temperatures cannot be adjusted; the entire hotel is set to a central standard temperature. Our corner room was extremely hot day and night. The "air conditioning" functioned merely as a ceiling fan circulating warm air rather than blowing cold air. With temperatures in Malta consistently above 30°C day and night, the lack of effective AC made it very difficult to sleep. Despite the good service and nice pool, I would not return simply due to the air conditioning issue.

Aisling Shanahan-Allen

My main issue is the gym - it is very very small and limited on equipment. I would have expected a better gym for the price. Another thing to mention, there was a little bit of mould seen in the bathroom, and a strange smell when you entered the room. But otherwise the service was great, location beautiful and lots of restaurants close by too

Elizabeta Sotiri

I would not recommend this hotel. We paid for a Superior Sea View Room for one week, but instead we were given a very small room with a broken air conditioner. Every single day we asked the staff about it, and every day we were told, “Tomorrow you will change rooms.” Unfortunately, that never happened. We spent the entire week in an extremely hot room without air conditioning. The swimming pool was also very disappointing. It was dirty and had a very unpleasant smell, making it impossible to enjoy. What made the experience even worse was the supervisor’s attitude. She spoke to us very rudely and refused to provide the room we had paid extra for. We were never given the accommodation we booked, and we were not offered any refund or compensation. This was a very disappointing experience, and I would not stay here again.

Philip Jackson (MaltesePhil)

Possibly the best location in Malta. Overlooking Spinola Bay and Balluta Bay at the front and Portomaso to the rear. Buses are a short walk away. If you are coming by car parking is very limited. There's a weird sort of 70's futurism vibe going on. The check-in desks are straight out of Buck Rodgers. Staff are polite but not particularly friendly. I wouldn't say unfriendly but neutral. My Room was clean, comfortable and looked amazing. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was showing a little wear and tear (cracked and chipped sink). There was a weird chair, in the 70s future style which is by far the most uncomfortable thing I've sat on. And, I rode road racing bikes back in the 90s. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. I didn't try everything but some of the hot food was cold, and there's no warmed plates to put food on. The outdoor pools looked popular. There is an indoor pool. There is a gym but it was out of use on my visit. I had no issues with noise in my room. There was a loud vehicle in the street early in the morning For £64.00 for 2 bed and breakfast mid April 2026 it was ok. I'd stay again

stephanie smallwood

Had a great week here. Hotel was lovely, rooms were clean. Staff very helpful. Only thing that let it down was the food. Not much choice and the same food that was available for lunch was also on the menu that evening, we ended up eating out 4 nights out of the 7 we were there.

Amin Ayat

Great stay at Lella Baya! The architecture is breathtaking and looks like a Moorish castle. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the animation team made a fantastic atmosphere every day. Highly recommended for a fun holiday!

Josie Buckton

We have just come back from a family holiday for two weeks at Lella Baya. Overall, the holiday was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. However, what let it down hugely was the food: 1. People pushing in queues 2. Long wait times for foods 3. Ovens not being turned on prior to lunch opening time so having to wait additional time for this. 4. Spoons are mixed between foods - veg, fish, meat, egg dishes the spoons and spatulas are free for all so you can’t be certain if you have allergies that things haven’t been contaminated. 5. We had undercooked foods; chips, burgers, and sausages. Stale bread rolls. 6. Everything tastes the same & oily. 7. If you pay all inclusive ensure it includes cocktails like pina colada’s they charge additional money for these cocktails. 8. I had a 4 year old and 1 year old and they both ended up refusing to eat and living off of watermelon. 9. Gloves can be hit & miss and at times I questioned the cleanliness of cooking equipment 10. There’s no lobby bar just a poolside bar that does pizza, cake and stale sandwiches in the afternoon you have to be quick otherwise when it’s gone it’s gone. Hotel staff are lovely, everyone is friendly, smiling and genuinely want to make sure you have a lovely time. Some of the waiters appear miserable and some are super friendly and can’t do enough for you. The animation team are great Ramos and Yasmine were great with our two children. Varying entertainment in the evenings, only downside is the bingo can take a VERY long time with too much talking. I would recommend the hotel but if you’re staying for more than a week consider food options because we had eat

Naeem GA

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. The location was perfect and everything was well organized. I really enjoyed my time here and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay

Kaine

Beautiful views from the room, all the staff are very friendly. High praise for the animation team who work all day doing events and especially the entertainments at night, they work really well with the kids making sure everyone gets involved and has a good night.

We have just returned from a 7 day break at Royal Lagoons. Myself, my wife and our 4 children aged 8, 9, 13 and 14. We were so worried after reading some horrible reviews in the run up to our break but we truly had the best holiday. Rooms- we had two rooms 'Superior pool view' they were clean, modern and functional. Perfectly cool air conditioning. Beautiful views across the pools and gardens Food - We found the food to be up to the usual 'All inclusive standard' not exceptional but enjoyable and we all had more than enough to choose from. Drinks - Yes, the local spirits are horrible but this is Egypt. If you like spirits' bring your own from duty free and take with you they really do not mind. The soft drinks and beer are all absolutely fine. We also had Ice all week which is made with filtered and sterilised water and did not have any gastrointestinal upset! Staff - friendly, professional and welcoming. We gave some small tips on day one and we're treated like royalty. They all work so hard to make your stay enjoyable. We were also pleased to be able to extend our check out time as we did not leave the hotel until 7pm. Reception were happy to help with this. Entertainment - kids club daily (ours did not join in but it looks like the other children were enjoying themselves) other than that we just enjoyed the peace and quiet whilst our children explored the grounds and played football! Pools - The main pool was a little slimey (likely from the amount of people in there and the swim up bar) the slides were great fun but we spent the majority of the time in the pool just as you come out of the lobby. This was perfect for our family and very clean Beach - this was a little disappointing, generally run down and a little neglected. Could do with a good clean up but we visited a few islands and enjoyed the beaches and the sea elsewhere. Overall. This hotel was perfect for us as a large family. Clean, fun, relaxing atmosphere and generally good food even for fussy eaters. We had such a great time we have booked again for next year and are already looking forward to coming back.

Nader Awad

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing due to the poor attitude and unprofessional behavior of some of the staff. We had a sick child with us, and when we went to get food for her, we were told that food could not be taken outside the restaurant. There was no understanding or compassion for our situation, despite explaining that the food was for a sick child. I expected much better customer service and hospitality from this hotel. Unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations, and I hope the management improves both customer service and the way guests are treated.

Adam Nahani

The gaff is a shithole, the rooms are tiny compared to even 4 star hotels. The fact this hotel is considered a 5 star in Egypt and a 4 star in the uk is generous. The WiFi is slow, the staff is lacking in service attitude. The rooms havent been cleaned properly between customers. I truly feel sorry for whatever poor soul would find this terrible excuse of a 4 star hotel online and think it’s a bargain. I can get a premier inn stay for cheaper and better quality. How standards can be this low is unreal.

Rachel Stubbs

I think a lot of the reviews are unfair. This place is not expensive and you get what you pay for. The rooms need upgrading yes, but everywhere is very clean, the food is good and varied every day, always pasta, potatoes, salad etc if you are a fussy eater. The staff have all been fantastic except the guy who showed us our rooms. Reception is good, quick to check in, helpful, provide a really good packed lunch if you need one. The staff do not insist on tips but are grateful if you do tip. Local alcohol is not amazing, but the price of the holiday is low so I do not think you can complain, and you can pay extra for branded if you like. There are bars you have to pay extra to get into, but most you don't. Be careful booking tours within the hotel, we had a mixed experience, one (orange bay) was wonderful, the other (the pyramids) was the worst trip ever. My advice would be, if you want to see the pyramids, either fly or take a private tour. I think if you want a good hotel that is clean and has a nice pool area, you cannot go wrong here. If you expect a kings holiday, for a cheap price, expect to be disappointed. We certainly were not.

alomghir ali

Big group 19 people stayed 7 nights from 5th Aug. Although hotel did not meet initial 4/5 stars expectations, the overall, experience was good, staff work hard effortlessly to accommodate all,oir needs and it was greatly appreciated. The hotel would benefit from modernisation, including updated rooms and decor. The food variety could be expanded and things like paying extra for ice creams and certain items could be made clearer. As you would expect, all inclusive to include everything. This hotel overall is low 4 stars and good affordable choice for a cheap budget hotel to hurghada.

Best location for everything you could need!! The coral reef is amazing and the beach is great! We have been twice and the level of friendliness and service is amazing. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the food is really good. Staff here really make your holiday. Dont miss out on an amazing holiday 😊

One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had! Parrotel Beach Resort is an outstanding hotel with a perfect location, excellent hospitality, spotless cleanliness, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Every member of the staff was polite, helpful, and always smiling, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. A very special thanks to Mr. Essam Mansour, the restaurant manager. He is incredibly attentive to every guest, always making sure everyone is comfortable and satisfied. He is especially kind to children and makes families feel truly welcome. His professionalism and genuine care made a big difference during our stay. Thank you, Parrotel Beach, for giving us such wonderful memories. We had an unforgettable vacation and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended

Absolutely wonderful experience at Parrotel Beach Resort! Everything was excellent, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the delicious food and outstanding service. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional, and the whole resort had a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommended! ❤️

Stayed here 11 nights.Overall,it is a large resort with good sized pools (2 heated ones). The food is very repetitive, they was running out of glasses every now on then, sometimes the glasses came straight from the dishwasher and hot. Some glasses even with lipstick on them or sand.Very low on serving seafood for a 5 star resort located on the beach . I would suggest to serve beer in the entrance as there is always cold and they always have proper clean glasses. Some of the waiters was really rude. They were running out of beer on the beach every now and then.Pizza, i think even the supermarkets one have more toppings and better taste that the one which is situated near the "cave". Cocktails = the worst cocktails i ever tasted.(i mean no taste at all). The best thing about this hotel : Location, lobby entrance, beach, the heated pool in the cave, the events in the night (some really good ones and spectacular). Entertainment team trying their best to keep the people entertained .

This hotel is just beautiful. The location is perfect, just 20-30 min walk to the beach, harbour, commercial centre and 5 minutes to the europa centre. If you are not able to walk taxi are always outside to jump into. Our room was perfect, with views of the pool and sea, cleaners came in every other day as well. The hotel has two pools one for games, kids, people with floats etc or a quieter one near the bar to relax in. The food was good a large selection of foods and drinks with a snack bar open between meal times so you could grab a bite pretty much any time you wanted. I cannot recommend this hotel enough it ticks every box it is exceptional value for money. We have enjoyed it so much that we are not leaving till tomorrow and already booked a holiday here again for next year. Thank you servatur altamar for making our holiday everything we wanted.

Our stay at Servatur Almatar was extremely enjoyable. We have just returned from a 5 night stay and would definitely recommend this hotel - especially the all inclusive package. The food was great, room was nice, amenities were good and view was amazing. They had all that you could ask for around the hotel. I would definitely recommend hiring a car as the island itself is beautiful but very hilly as expected. One thing that I would like to note is entertainment is very limited. There are a few things on for kids (cannot comment on this as we were a group of adults). Bingo is at 4. Shows are on in the restaurant at 9 and typically last 45 minutes. They play music after this and the occasional game but nothing worth sticking around for. There is also 1 bar in the resort, it appears that the second bar is now a hairdressers. Bonus points for there always being available sunbeds (mid June) and it being generally quite quiet. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Overall, I rate my stay at this hotel positively, but there are definitely a few things that need improvement. On the plus side, the food was delicious and there was always a wide selection. Another great thing was the balcony view, as well as the sun loungers and umbrella on the terrace. However, room cleanliness could be slightly better; it wasn't terrible, but there is definitely room for improvement. The second thing I would criticize is the communication with the hotel. Before our arrival, I tried to contact them regarding an upgrade from half board to all-inclusive. When I finally managed to get in touch, they calculated the upgrade price at around €350 for the entire stay. However, I checked their website and saw that for my exact dates, the price difference between half board and all-inclusive was only about €100, so of course, I declined their offer. When we arrived for check-in and I asked about the upgrade again, they quoted me around €160 on-site. I accepted it, but I still feel it was unnecessarily overpriced, considering the website difference was only around €100 and I had tried to resolve this a week before arrival. Lastly, I would definitely like to point out the luggage scale, which you have to pay for to weigh your suitcase. The fee is €1 per bag, which isn't a lot, but I think that when you pay so much money for accommodation, such a scale should be free to use just like in other hotels, rather than charging for this kind of service.

My two friends and I stayed here for five nights. We booked a room for three people with a pull-out sofa bed. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the room smelled strongly of cigarettes, there were strands of hair everywhere (even in the freezer!), the floors were dirty, and there was no pull-out bed—just a sofa with no pillows or blankets, which we had to request. The all-inclusive food and drinks were lovely, with plenty of choice throughout our stay. The pool facilities were also what you would expect. However, the lifeguards did not allow any games in the pool. We understood not being allowed to play bat and ball (even though we were considerate of other guests and stayed away from others), but we were also told we couldn’t even gently throw a lightweight plastic ping pong ball to each other, which seemed unnecessarily strict. The hotel’s website also advertised that pool floats were allowed, but in reality they were not. We have never experienced swimming pools like these before. On several occasions, the pool had a very unpleasant odour, which made us feel unwell, and one member of our group was physically sick after spending time in the pool area. While we can’t say for certain what caused this, it was concerning and significantly affected our enjoyment of the facilities. The town is within easy reach of the hotel, with plenty of transport options nearby, which was a positive. Unfortunately, during our stay we saw multiple cockroaches around the hotel. We also came across two TikTok videos from other guests staying at the same time as us in this hotel who found rats in their rooms. According to the videos, security dealt with the situation by simply killing the rats. The hotel is built on a very steep hill and relies on three lifts. The signage indicated that the lifts had last been serviced in February 2025, despite it now being September 2026. They were unreliable, with long waiting times and often skipping floors altogether. Overall, we still managed to have a good holiday because we made the most of it, but we were disappointed that the hotel did not live up to how it was advertised. Sadly, we wouldn’t return.

Excellent getaway for the price. The food was amazing and staff where really friendly. Entertainment was ok. Views are one of the main highlights. Its super high up so the beach isn't really within walking distance unless your really fit but its about €4-5 for a taxi each way for the local Amadores beech and there's a taxi rank right outside where there's normally 3 or 4 cabs waiting.

The Healy Family

From check-In to check-out it was perfect. The rooms was spotless when we arrived and the staff cleaned the rooms everyday and replaced all the towels daily which is always a plus in any hotel. The staff where amazing, the man I believe is the manager is probs the best hotel manager for any company, hopefully they recognise how amazing all their staff are..he was there from the moment we went downstairs till midnight when we went to bed after entertainment. Food was great, better than other hotels I have been at, there was great selection and my kids are like they never been fed before. The entertainment was good, it's more catered to say the older folk, but was still enjoyable. Only thing I would change is more update music and music around the younger generations. I think it would of kept more people around longer in the night. But like I said it's not bad and we all still loved every moment of It. Also which was great, the free shuttle bus to town and the beach! No extra charge. Would recommend to all my friends who wants an all inclusive holiday and gives it all. Thanks again to all the staff. See you again in June 👋

We just left the resort yesterday and it was by far one of the best holidays we’ve had. The hotel was very clean and beautifully furnished and even has its own spa and shop on the bottom floor. There were 2 beautiful swimming pools with a small splash park for children and ample places for sunbathing or staying in the shade. The service we received at reception was very professional, informative and welcoming. There was a good range of food available in the restaurant each day, however some of it was very repetitive. We thoroughly enjoyed the food that we ate. The waiting staff and bar staff went out of their way to make our holiday enjoyable. They were all very friendly and were happy to have a chat as you ordered. The animation team were by far the best part of our holiday! From running activities in the daytime to putting on incredible entertainment and shows in the evening. We even learnt some spanish dances! It would be too difficult to mention particular staff from this team as they all went above and beyond to make us laugh and feel comfortable in everything we did. We were amazed at the amount of languages that they could speak. We definitely recommend this resort to people of all ages and we can’t wait to go back and visit again!

Unfortunately this week at this hotel was one of the worst holidays we’ve ever had. It is not a few minutes from the beach. You have to catch a shuttle bus which does not come to the hotel. The bus does not run all the time and you can end up trapped in Torremolinos without being able to get back without a taxi. So very disappointed. The finish in the bathroom was gross although it seemed clean. The beds were rock hard and the pillows strange. The food was mostly disgusting and while we were there, approx 100 kids aged 10-12 were staying whilst taking part in a sports tournament. They were all down our corridor on the first floor and were sliding up and down the corridor at gone midnight screeching and screaming. I don’t know why it came up as a beach hotel because it def isn’t. You can’t use money at the pool bar in the day to get a drink, it’s tokens only, I assume for the All Inclusive. The woman who runs the Supermarket is in a foul mood all the time so don’t give her notes. She wants change or card. We will never come back and will warn our friends off it. Hyatt hotels are normally superb. No one is spending money on it. We didn’t have any English TV for the first 4 days. So glad to be home. Husband caught Covid at the hotel so that was the icing on the cake. Might as well throw your money down the drain. The maids and staff were nice but that was it. Don’t bother.

We had a fantastic stay at Aluasun Costa Park Hotel. The staff were all amazing friendly, welcoming, and always helpful and everything was kept spotless throughout our visit. The entertainment team did a brilliant job and really added to the overall experience. There was a great variety of food every day, and every meal was enjoyable. I also spoke with Valentina during our stay and shared how happy we were with everything. The location is very convenient, with the beach just a short walk away, or you can use the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel. There are also several shops nearby, as well as some within the hotel itself, which was very handy. We would definitely come back and would highly recommend this hotel to others!

Heading home today, had a fantastic stay, very clean hotel inside and outside. Pools, pool areas, all bars and restaurants were fantastic. Always something you can pick to eat and very delicious food also. Currently looking about booking for next year again. Would highly recommend. Nice quiet area, you are a bit outside torremolinos but an uber only costs around 6 euro .

We stayed in room 1117. Our room was clean and tidy upon arrival. The room itself was bright and airy so it was a nice place to be in. The hotel and facilities seem to be in good order. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. The pool and pool area is well maintained and the pool is a good size. The restaurant is very clean and there is a decent choice of foods on offer. The only problem with the food is that it isn't in our opinion kept warm enough on the buffet, some of our meals were only just warm. We actually dined out twice during our stay. The drinks on offer with all inclusive are local brands and not international ones. We found The drinks to be fine. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, lovely people. We enjoyed our week at the Allegro Agadir. The only issue was that the food wasn't hot enough on the buffet. All in all a lovely week in beautiful Agadir,we shall be back.

We've just spent 10 days at the Allegro Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is amazing value for money and the service, food and amenities were all excellent. ALL staff were so nice and attentive and we have been so well looked after. The sports and entertainment team were such good fun and went out of their way to include all ages and abilities into the games and activities. There was something for everyone and the staff worked so well together. Ossama was our particular favourite and his energy, dance moves :) and thoughtfulness is a credit to him. Our room was spotless, extra large bed very comfy, and towles were changed every day. The food in the restaurant was excellent with a wide range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, freshly cooked pizza, plus fresh salads and a range of desserts to choose from. This hotel is operating well above its three star rating and is excellent value for money. We will definitely return.

My husband and I have just returned from 2 fabulous weeks at this hotel , I dont normally write reviews but here goes... The location was excellent as were the facilities. and plenty of entertainment if you choose to join in , we had so much fun with the Aqua Aerobics 😀 We particularly loved watching the sunset on the sun terrace lovely touch. We absolutely loved the food plenty of choice and very tasty! The place was spotless and well kept and staff so approachable. You can have as chilled a time or as busy a time as you choose in this hotel.

We’ve just come back from a wonderful week in Agadir. The hotel is very nice, and the staff are incredibly friendly, especially the entertainment team. They made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The food wasn’t the best, but we always found something we enjoyed. The city itself is very modern, and the people are kind and welcoming. We will definitely come back

An amazing hotel, located in a beautiful area. Every thing is convenient. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Cleaning staff always in attendance for all your needs. Bonus is rooms have no carpets so no foul mucky smells you find in other hotels. We had all inclusive deal, food is a 10. They served fresh food everyday and it was a big selection.Lovely presentation all the time.Staff was amazing and very friendly. Attended to every request. From when you arrive at the reception to the guys cutting the grass every single one was very friendly and pleasant and professional. Definitely worth the money. We are definitely coming back to this hotel no doubt about it.Adding a few pics of the view from our balcony.

My friend and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. Our room was comfortable and even included an olive tree on our private balcony. We loved how many pools there were and how there were always plenty of sun loungers available. In terms of food/drink, highlights included the fresh orange machine and desserts. We also appreciated the gesture of some food and drinks being left for us when we arrived late and found it really helpful that plastic boxes were available at meal times in case you wanted to take something away. What we did not love was that there was limited cleaning when food was cooked to order (e.g. omelettes) or in the scoop your own ice cream cart. It also was disappointing that there was no food or drinks available as part of the all inclusive at the private beach that was included as part of the hotel via a shuttle. It is a great place to relax, with many pools, a gym, a tennis court and other amenities. We did find that there was limited daytime entertainment that was organised (only thing we found was a cooking lesson that involved someone putting tzatziki on a wrap for us more than a real lesson), and entertainment in general did not tend to be advertised (like evening shows). Internet could be patchy at times too. A great plus was that we were allowed to use the facilities until we left for the airport much later that day. Overall, had a positive experience and would recommend. We probably would not give the hotel five stars but did find it great value.

rooms were spacious and had both a shower and a bath however the aircon was bad and barely worked (old model?) workers lacked language barrier understanding which in other 4/5 star hotels even 3 star hotels had better understanding. food was decent but there wasn’t many options and breakfast was the same thing everyday entertainment is very limited, pretty much only live music and one magic show a week- there was also a dance show one night but regardless not much to keep people entertained at night. since it’s not walkable distance to the beach they offer a free shuttle however the drivers are mainly most drive too quick/ without thinking (one got into a minor car crash luckily i got into the one after that one and the people in there had to walk to the hotel- ten mins) and they also look on their phones while driving in these intricate roads + leave you in the van for upto 15 mins in the heat while they go do something, one also stopped at a place to run his own errend leaving us in the shuttle for about 10 minutes in the heat. people put kids on laps which is dangerous too and fight over space in the shuttle and one even tried pushing us and sat in the middle to let her family of 7 in and nobody else. they come back if they see more people waiting and not everything is full, it would’ve been best to let more families go back and wait for the last shuttle to get your whole family the hotels build is overall nice but they don’t have a generator! electricity went down twice on my visit and first one was for max half an hour so we had to walk up stairs to go to the restaurant and the day after it was down for more than two hours, again had to walk up stairs. the pools are nice and seem clean however lots of bugs do get in and die in it and they float there for hours on end again only good if you wanna remain in the hotel i’d say and don’t want to go to the beach as it’s such a hastle however there are shops nearby the beach where they drop you off (two opposite) and if you ask to be dropped off a bit earlier there’s quite a few (around 6) the hotel has a beautiful view of mountains and it’s good for relaxing as it’s really quiet and no workers interrupt you also we paid for a mountain room however where given a room that was not part of the main building and had to walk up stairs. it was covered with a massive bush and only a little bit of mountains were visible. it was near the tennis court and people go there early which made us wake up a few times also another main problem is the wifi was horrible!!! barely worked in the room or near the pool. works a bit in reception/near bar/ restaurant. but it was all very weak connections

If you are considering this hotel, do not be fooled into thinking you are booking a 5 star hotel. At the time I found this hotel (booked about 6 months in advance) it seemed like a bargain, good price ,location , amenities, a 5 star. We were looking very much forward to have a special holiday. Special it was not, rather a very mediocre experience in all that it offered. Food was ok, I could find something to my taste every meal (which cannot be said by rest of the family), in any case a buffet food offer is not a 5 star, isn't it. The room was fine for 3 people, but again not special, and bed not fit proper for a 1.85 m lad. Amenities - it is called spa hotel, TBH I haven't seen anyone using the spa during our stay, and certainly was not appealing after seeing it with the attendant. Pools ok, if your idea of beach holiday is to stay by pool all time. Location, it left to desire we haven't booked close to the beach, if we didn't hire a car we would had struggle commuting to the beach each time. Have to admit, in the evening the mountains/hills silhouette provided a beautiful backdrop. The artistic programme in the evening was provided by visiting artists each day. Some good at entertaining , some not so much. It looked like the hotel was not interested whatsoever on what is going on in the evening, no one in charge of entertainment, no excitement , announcement what programme to expect, etc. The staff was friendly enough, but I could not escape the feeling once they lost hope for being tipped, they get desintedested, can't blame for this. All in all , the experience would have been good if we booked a 3* hotel, borderline acceptble if it was 4*, but there is no justification to pay for a 5*, and have the standard we had . I would not recommend to anyone looking to for staying in a high end hotel, just plainly it is not.

Tina “Awesome”

POSITIVE Clean room daily with fresh towels. Loved all the food. Fresh pancakes and omelettes made for you. Staff very helpful. Many choices of drinks for all inclusive. Entertainment was ok. Many pools to go in. Loads of loungers to relax on. Very accommodating with faults. ( Light bulb changed same day after reporting). No flies around the restaurant area. BIG BONUS FOR ME. Loved my stay. No problems with the wi-fi. NEGATIVE Need better shuttle service to the town. Customers rush to get in first. Maybe a employee to direct or a ticket system? Lots of steps to climb depending where your room is, to get to the bar or restaurant. Maybe more mini bars located for drinks in further out distances.

We’ve just had a lovely stay at Filion Resort and had a great time. The hotel was clean, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was really good with plenty of choice every day. A big thank you to Dionis, Smarina, Roland, Andonia, and Adriatik. You all made our holiday extra special. You were always smiling, friendly, and happy to help, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. It's people like you who make guests want to come back. Thank you as well to all the hardworking staff for everything you did during our stay. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely recommend Filion Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing break in Crete. We hope to see you all again soon!

UPDATE SINCE THE HOTEL CLAIMS IN IT'S RESPONSE I NEVER STAYED THERE - I've attached a photo of my reservation as proof. DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. STAY AWAY! Their response only reinforces my concerns about how dishonest the staff are. Instead of addressing the issues I raised, they chose to deny that I was even a guest. DO NOT STAY HERE – AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! I left my luggage in the hotel's luggage storage before my flight on the evening of July 5, and my Louis Vuitton handbag was stolen. Inside were my passports, laptop, sunglasses, and other valuables. It was the only bag stolen that day, which makes the situation even more concerning. When I discovered the theft, there was no manager on-site to assist. The two employees who helped me, Sachin Kumar and Tiago, were unhelpful and showed very little urgency. Initially, I was told we could review the security camera footage. After waiting for over 1.5 hours, I was then told I could not view the footage and that my only option was to file a police report. When I filed the report, the responding officer told me they receive 2–3 reports like this every week from this hotel. That was incredibly alarming. Based on my experience, I strongly suspect this was an inside job. While I cannot prove that, the circumstances and the lack of transparency left me with very little confidence. I later spoke with the Director, Renato, who was also not helpful. He said he could only meet with me the following morning at 8:30 a.m., after I was already dealing with the aftermath of the theft. I was repeatedly told there was no useful video footage, despite there being visible security cameras in the lobby. Unfortunately, the theft was only part of an already disappointing stay. The rooms were not clean, the staff were unfriendly and slow to respond, our toilet stopped flushing twice during our four-day stay, and it took four phone calls and an hour and a half just to receive clean towels. I understand that travelers are ultimately responsible for their belongings, and I acknowledge that leaving valuables in luggage storage was a mistake on my part. However, I have used hotel luggage rooms all over the world without ever experiencing anything like this. I trusted this hotel to provide secure storage, and that trust was completely misplaced. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Between the poor service, maintenance issues, and the theft of my belongings, I cannot recommend this property to anyone. I have attempted to contact this hotel, several times today and they have not answered a single call. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

The room, view, location, and amenities were fantastic. Our room was modern and luxurious. The hotel had a wonderful pool. Free parking was great, we always found parking with the extra back lot. We did have some service issues, our room was not equipped with a cork screw or a TV remote for one of the TV’s. The corkscrew was necessary for the wine they provided. We did call the front desk several times with no answer. We visited the front desk to make this request, we were told to wait but no one arrived. Additionally, our patio was not mopped during our stay so it collected much bird poop. I understand birds will poop during our stay, but it could be cleaned. I would still book this room for the price, location, and quality of the room.

Rosemary who does the entertainment was brilliant with the children! My 10 year old son entered the daily kids sports competition every day coming second each time but on our last day she did a mini competition for our two children so they won prizes to take home - a fab t shirt and frisbee. Rosemary made it such a fun holiday! She really is fantastic and such a great addition to the resort!

Oura View Beach Club Hotel by MGM is an excellent place to stay. The location is perfect, the views are beautiful, and the staff throughout the hotel are exceptionally friendly and professional, making our stay truly enjoyable. Aqua Restaurant was another highlight of our visit, with outstanding service and a wonderful dining experience. A special thank you to Omar, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Highly recommended!

Just returned from a week in Oura View Beach Club. Hotel is 3 star at best, dated and in need of revamp / decoration. Our room was on floor eight but lifts only go to floor six ! Pool area is ok but cleaning of the pool took place while pool was quite busy , surely better to clean it when not in use. Some hotel staff where ok but majority don’t even speak as they pass you and look like they don’t want to be there. We reported a defective light in out bathroom which was constantly flickering, they arranged for maintenance to come and repair the light while were out for the day ( great ) but on returning to our room found the door was not locked. We contacted them receptionist regarding this who said they would pass on a message but no feedback at all. Broken tiles on balcony and loose light fittings in room and safety latch on apartment door missing. Breakfast was ok with plenty of choice, didn’t have any other meals in hotel. Thankfully some nice restaurants on beach front. Entertainment on in hotel but no atmosphere in the bar at all. Can’t book drinks to room or pay with cash, card only ! Lots of noise from the strip until 4 / 5 in the morning so if you’re a light sleeper be warned. Please don’t answer with thanks for your feedback as it helps to improve our service to customers as looking at last years feedback ( same issues ) you haven’t acted on those as yet.

I loved my stay at this hotel, we managed to get a lot done during the week such as renting out a pink flamingo pedalo from the near-by beach (5-10 minute walk from the hotel). The staff were all amazing, helpful and kind. The food was great with varied options, as I’m quite a picky eater and still managed to load up my plate each day, and the cocktails were awesome too. There was a great happy atmosphere and with three pools nothing got too crowded. Our rooms were kept very clean every day and towels changed often. Lots of reviews mentioning a smell that I did not encounter once? Brilliant stay couldn’t recommend it more.

I've just returned from a 7 night stay and found the place incredibly charming and well managed. Set away from the hustle and bustle of the seafront but only a 10 minute walk away. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, the food and drinks were varied and plentiful. The main pool area has a large pool and a smaller kids splash pool along with a bar with drinks and snacks, pool table and air hockey. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

★★★★★ As an older guest traveling with my family, including my grandchildren, I truly enjoyed our stay at Saint George Palace in Corfu. The hotel provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all generations. We especially loved the restaurant, where the food and service were excellent. A special thank you to Serafina and Mirela for their kindness, attention, and wonderful hospitality, which made our family holiday even more memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to other families.

Nick Greek

There are places one visits, and there are places that remain in the heart long after the journey has ended — Saint George Palace in Corfu is most certainly one of the latter. Gracefully situated between magnificent mountain scenery and one of the most beautiful coastlines on the island, this charming hotel offers a rare combination of tranquillity, comfort, and genuine Greek hospitality. From the very moment of our arrival, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and impeccable courtesy by the reception staff, who made us feel immediately at home. The hotel itself was immaculately clean and exceptionally well maintained throughout our stay. A very special word of thanks must be given to our wonderful housekeeper, whose care and attention ensured that our room was always beautifully prepared and wonderfully comfortable. The cuisine was delightful — fresh, authentic, and of excellent Greek quality. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Dimitrius, Suzzy, and George from the restaurant team. George was remarkably hardworking and highly professional, always attending to guests with dedication and genuine care. Together, they created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made every meal an absolute pleasure. What truly distinguishes this hotel is not only its breathtaking surroundings, but the people themselves — gracious, attentive, and sincerely devoted to the wellbeing of their guests. Saint George Palace provided our family with a peaceful and deeply memorable holiday experience that we shall look back upon with great fondness. We would return without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend this delightful hotel to anyone wishing to discover the more peaceful and romantic side of Corfu.

We highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to return!🥰🥰

We just got back from a 5 day stay and i can say we were a bit worryed after reading some reviews. We had a really nice time, The food lunch and dinner was lovely did not go to breafast so cant comment drinks were also lovely. Room was nice and clean only down side was no light in balcony. Pool was nice not lots of sun lougers so recommend getting up early to save one. Staff were ok Entertanent was poor tbh But we just went to relax and that what we had very relaxing. Hoilday was good value and we would go back again.

The hotel rooms itself were great - basic but clean and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. However, the gym was beyond substandard for any decent hotel. I don’t think it ever gets cleaned (there were old shoes and cups lying on the floor that never were removed during my time here) and most equipment is very old, dirty and rusty (probably not even safe to use anymore).

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. It offers beautiful views, is well organized, and provides good value for the price. However, there are a few things to keep in mind before booking. Pros: * The hotel is very affordable and offers all the basic amenities you need. Don’t expect a luxury resort, but it delivers good value for the price. * The pool area is well maintained, clean, and has plenty of sun loungers. * The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. * There is plenty of parking available, which is very convenient if you rent a car. Cons: * The hotel’s décor feels like it is still in the 1980s or 1990s. The furniture in the lobby and much of the interior look like they haven’t been updated in many years. * The overall facilities also feel outdated. A renovation would make a huge difference and help attract a younger generation of guests. * The hallways are carpeted, and the carpets appear to be very old. Unfortunately, this creates an unpleasant mix of cigarette smoke, humidity, and cleaning product odors. Replacing the hallway carpets should be a priority. * The buffet offers enough variety, but don’t expect restaurant-quality food or a fine dining experience. * There are several cats around the outdoor dining area. While some guests may enjoy this, others may find it uncomfortable while eating. Overall, I enjoyed my stay because the hotel is affordable, the staff are excellent, and the pool area is very nice. However, I believe that renovating the interiors and replacing the hallway carpets would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

Given the 7.5 rating on Booking and 3.9 on Google, I expected it to be much worse. Believe me, it’s neither. It’s not ideal and a bit worn out in places, but it seems like they care, and that’s the most important thing. Drinks are mega cheap, like €3.50 for a glass of wine. The food was really good too - we had half board. The evening buffet really surprised us with the choice of protein, like duck, white fish, grilled pork, etc. Every evening they run an entertainment program, which is mega cringe but fun. The pool is great as well. The reception stuff (Piotr and sorry don’t remember the name of the lady) was exceptional.

Hotel is very nice and clean, beautiful view from our room to the ocean! It is nice walk around hotel and hotel has a lovey beach for walk but it is not for a swim! You have to walk about 1 km to the first nice beach! Pool is amazing, plenty food and drinks, close to the pubs and restaurants! You can see beautiful places around through to the local excursions! All together we had a great time!

Just returned from holiday here. Stayed in a one bed apartment, which was lovely and spacious. Got there late and just wanted a shower and go to bed, shower flooded into the bedroom so had to call reception. Security man came and turned the water off and got some towels. Next day 2 men came and spent a few hours trying to fix the leak. Next time same thing happened but not as bad so had to get them back out again eventually we could shower without the bedroom floor getting wet, but could smell damp, so probably been an issue for a while. Anyway apart from that the pools were nice and life guards were very good and helpful. Location wise it is a bit out of the way, but a free shuttle bus is available until 6.15 p.m. to Los Christianos front. Breakfast provided a lot of choice, but personally not a fan of buffet breakfasts, so only went a couple of times. A little supermarket on site was handy and there was a larger one a little walk down. A nice Italian restaurant which also did takeaway was just outside the hotel across the road. On the whole a nice complex, just a shame we had a couple of issues.

Stayed on 4th floor opposite reception overlooking pool, lovely views. Decent rooms, kept very clean, small kitchen and dining/living room. Good size balcony for eating, games and sunbathing. Aircon worked well, telephone in room didn't was only issue. Sofabed had seen better days. Reception busy in evening with one person on, and can be a little slow depending upon queue size and peoples' enquiries. Buffet breakfast with plenty to choose from, quality ok. Position is high up the hill in Los Cristianos and would not be suitable for certain people if you want to go out and walk/explore. All in all I'd recommend and would return if in this part of the world again.

Very nice and spacious rooms (although we paid for a larger room as an upgrade). Friendly and helpful staff! This is about as far from the beaches and main restaurants on the seafront as you can get in the area, although it was lovely and quiet in the evenings. A good walk from the beach (with a good hill to climb on your way home), however the hotel provides a nice, convenient bus service to the seafront during the day which made the trips out much easier.

Nice hotel, standard rooms with good kitchen facilities inside.. We enjoyed our stay for the week. Small things that we feel needs change or working on, 1. Organisation for breakfast no tables to eat at as not spread out well. 2. Everyone reserved there seat at the pool and the disappear after there towels were dropped.. 3 the pools turn blonde hair green. Very green!!! 4. Life guards (especially the Young ones) enjoyed more films with ear plugs in rather than looking like there on duty. Small gripes that's can be worked on. The restaurant bella roma across the road is absolutely brilliant and food fantastic. P.s reviews about the hill there not lying it's a good work out but taxi back up is around 4 euro.

We’ve just returned from our trip here we had x2 of the one bedroom apartments and x1 of the studio apartment. The rooms are very spacious and look lovely especially for the money, the actual hotel looks absolutely stunning no matter where you are, we were really impressed with that. The staff are super friendly and the entertainment team are absolutely perfect, you could definitely not be bored here we particularly enjoyed the foam party. We had breakfast included and we found it to be pretty nice just a bit slow at replacing things towards the end of breakfast service. The location is absolutely perfect you’ve got so many lovely restaurants around the hotel and it’s close to the beach for a nice walk or they offer the shuttle bus down to the beach free of charge and taxis are also cheap and readily available in reception. There’s 3 large pools with plenty of sunbeds, we were a group of 6 and never really had any troubles being seated together. The pools were clean and refreshing and the hotel gets plenty of sun for tanning we never felt like we were in the shade. There’s also different levels of noise at each one which is perfect for if you’re wanting to relax or have a dance to the music We did however have a few problems - our room in the Judy garland block did not have wifi the entire stay which caused me to have to use all my data and then have to use my own money to purchase more we did inform reception that it didn’t work and they said it was network provider issue which we understood but thought it would be fixed before we had gone home which it wasn’t it was also a bit temperamental around other areas of the hotel -we only had one cockroach in our room which we weren’t bothered about at all and thought it was to be expected however our family in the other 2 rooms claimed to have quite a lot of bugs in their room even on their counters where they were cooking etc -I know this sounds a little nitpicky but trust me if you go you’ll know what I mean, there’s no shower curtain on half the shower which causes your entire bathroom floor to be drenched the whole time we were there. you also don’t get much hot water, if me and my partner both wanted a shower only one of us would have hot water -they allow balls in the pool which I’ve never been bothered about til this holiday everyone in our family were hit by a ball on several occasions and the lifeguards/staff did not say anything- at times it wasn’t even a pool ball it was just a normal football absolutely launched at your head. -only one pool has a bar which means you’re having to trek around the hotel for a pint if you’re at the quieter 2 pools, it also quite frequently has long queues at the bar. All in all I would return as the beauty of the hotel is not to be missed and the pools and entertainment are lovely and it was a nice relaxing break for an amazing price however they do need to make some improvements:)

Spent 7 nights at this hotel with my family, it was an amazing experience and all members of staff were friendly and welcoming. One member off staff stood out the most as he made my daughters birthday very special and made her day! His name was Hamit, very polite and welcoming. Made us feel at home for the whole trip and always greeted with a smile. Rooms were also clean and presentable on arrival. Would recommend to stay!

Our stay at this hotel exceeded all our expectations! Of course, there were a few downsides when it came to the food. There wasn’t enough meat, and it wasn’t available every day. On the other hand, there was fresh fish every day, which was definitely a big plus. The hotel grounds are beautiful, green, and very well maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but what really makes this place special is the incredibly friendly staff. Every single employee genuinely tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and you can feel that from the moment you arrive. A huge thank you to the entertainment team! You are the ones who create the amazing atmosphere that makes it so hard to leave. Every day was filled with fun, laughter, great activities, and unforgettable memories. A very special thank you to Liza for the amazing aqua aerobics and Zumba classes—they were a real boost of happiness and energy! Every session was so much fun, full of energy and positivity, that we couldn’t wait for the next one. Liza is incredibly kind, friendly, and always full of positive energy. She has a special talent for bringing people together and making everyone smile. Even after the classes ended, we just wanted to keep dancing! Thank you for making our vacation so memorable! ❤️

This vacation will stay in our hearts for a long time! ❤️ From the very first moment we arrived at the hotel, we felt such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything here is designed to make guests truly relax and enjoy every single moment of their stay. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful-green, well maintained, and spotless. The rooms were always clean, and the food was fresh, delicious, and offered plenty of variety. Every member of the staff was kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a genuine smile. They made us feel like more than just guests-they made us feel truly welcome and cared for. A huge thank you to the entertainment team! You are the heart and soul of this hotel. Thanks to you, every day was filled with laughter, new friendships, fun activities, and unforgettable memories. Your positivity, energy, and genuine passion made our holiday so much more special. And a very special thank you to Liza! ❤️ You made our vacation unforgettable! Your Zumba and aqua aerobics classes were so much more than just dancing and exercising—they were a celebration that brought everyone together. Every session was full of incredible energy, and it was impossible not to join in. You have an amazing talent for lifting everyone’s spirits from the very first minute and making people smile long after the class is over. Thank you for your charisma, kindness, endless energy, and for putting so much love into what you do. We looked forward to your Zumba and aqua aerobics every single day-they became the highlight of our vacation. You don’t just lead classes, you create memories and an atmosphere that people will never forget. A huge thank you to the entire hotel team for giving us such an amazing holiday. We left with a little sadness because we really didn’t want to say goodbye. But one thing is certain—we’ll definitely be back! Thank you for all the wonderful memories, smiles, and unforgettable moments. See you again soon!

Beautiful hotel. Two pools, one chilled and one more noisy so a good vibe for everyone. The staff are absolutely brilliant especially the entertainment team who work tirelessly on the fun activities and are always very friendly. Lovely holiday!

Total disappointment, I do not recommend! Overall, I did not like anything about this hotel and the stay was a big disappointment. Hygiene is at a very low level. The only "positive" thing was that they changed the towels every day and left new shampoos, but that's it - the rooms were not cleaned at all. The restaurant and the utensils were also quite dirty, which is unacceptable. The food was repeated every day, it was exactly the same and there was nothing tasty, especially for children. The staff is disrespectful to the guests. In addition, additional payment is required for everything - even for things that should be included in the all-inclusive package. I categorically do not recommend this hotel

First and foremost, people need to remember this is a 3 star hotel, not a 5 star, lots of reviews of people with expectations far above what they have booked. Nowhere do they advertise they have air con, so why people moan that they don't is the visitors problem, not the hotel the same as people moaning about Cockroaches and bugs, they were there long before the hotel ever was, in the Canaries expect a few little crawlies about the place, it's normal. This is a basic hotel for very little money. So lets begin an honest review: Negatives: Most of the rooms are tired and need a lick of paint, communal areas also look a little tired. And that ties ups the negatives. Positives: Great location, cleaners came when requested, fresh sheets and towels, always something to eat at meal times, was blown away by the hand sized Salmon fillets the one night along with the fresh donner kebab. The drinks at the bar are good, the staff get through the queues quickly [if there is one]. The glass retaining system means there's never tables full of half drunk drinks left everywhere encouraging wasps and other bitey bugs. The pool was clean and one was heated and not overly chlorinated, plenty of sunbeds and no sunbed wars. The hotel wasn't overly busy, so meal times even if you went at opening time there was no queues, at all meal times we never shared the dining hall with more than 7 other families, the pool never emptied as soon as dining hall was opened, it was all very chill. It falls silent at 11.30pm after the bar closes and the staff finish putting the furniture away ready for the cleaners in the morning to clean it all. Conclusion: Some people are just to expectant of this little hotel, they've bought a beer hotel and expect champagne. I would go back without hesitation, it was cheap and cheerful and did the job it was asked to do.

I've just returned from a weeks stay with my partner and 3 children (8, 6 & 2) and would highly recommend Smy Tahona. For the price I don't think it can be faulted, if you want 5 stars then pay extra, Smy does what it says and more for a good price. We were all inclusive and found there to be a good choice of food everyday, yes the salad bar was the same, how many different salads can serve up over 7 days though?! Lunch and dinner always had different hot foods and there was always a selection of fresh fruit, any food that ran out was replenished quickly. My children loved the breakfast pastries and desserts at lunch and dinner! As did I... We found the food to be of good quality and tasty. Staff were always very friendly and helpful including the chefs. Yes the rooms need modernising a bit but who spends that much time in their room on holiday anyway? If I was being picky I think better pillows would have been a bonus. It's in a great location only 10 minutes from the airport and a 10/15 minute walk to the beach and bars and restuarants. People will always find something to complain about if they look hard enough as seen from some of the other reviews, my family and I had a great time and would definitely return. Thank you for a great stay.

Spent my holiday in Fuerteventura for 10 days and really liked this hotel!! Upon entering, the receptionist was very polite, gave a run through on everything and provided all the key information we would need. The rooms were clean, but just a little outdated but that wasn’t a problem for me, just personal taste. All the utilities worked well! The food was very good, every dinner they would do a different theme of food which was fun. Cooked fresh, a wide variety, and all tasted good! The drinks at the bar were also very nice, and the staff were very outgoing. The beach was a 10 minute walk away, supermarket and nice shops close by, very good location!! Only downside was the wifi situation, didn’t seem to reach inside the room so we’d have to sit outside to get service, but honestly wasn’t a huge problem as we had the pool and activities to do with the lovely lady that came in every afternoon to do swimming pool activities , and music in the evening , and the world cup to watch as they streamed it!! Very nice sense of community, everyone sitting together at the bar having fun! Definitely recommend this place and hope to come again soon!!

I want to take the time to write a full comprehensive review of the hotel. To address some of the points in previous reviews. Air conditioning: we knew it didn't have it, as we read up on the hotel. The fans were sufficient for me and my son. We kept the wooden shutters closed, windows closed and curtains closed to keep the sun out. We coped absolutely fine and didn't melt! Cleanliness: The room was very clean, it was cleaned every day. The whole hotel was immaculate, the only mess we saw was others who had left straws and crisp packets round the pool. We didn't see one cockroach, and no ants inside the room. Rooms: Yes, they are a little dated and worn but they are refurbishing. They are a 3* hotel and don't claim to be 5*! The beds were comfy, sheets clean, working plugs and very spacious with a lovely terrace area. They also provide beach/pool towels. Food and Drink: Unless you haven't stayed at a 3* AI before, the food was as expected. Lots of choice for fussy folk and more adventurous. A vast selection for breakfast, and the added bonus of fresh juices, not just machine ones. Neither myself or my son had bad stomachs after eating a range of the food, chicken, duck, fish and pork. The drinks were great. Slushy for children on demand and plenty of soft drinks and alcoholic ones too. I don't mind a small plastic cup, especially when they give you a clean one each time. Staff: So hardworking, friendly and accommodating. The older lifeguard was brilliant and very diligent. We had a issue on one occasion, which Miguel the Manager dealt with swiftly and also showed a genuine level of care and empathy. Also followed up via email. Christina the entertainment lady is like a one woman powerhouse, she was also very friendly and took time to say hello each morning. People: We have met some lovely people here and that has really made the holiday. A really friendly and inclusive place to be. Sharing pool toys, inflatables and playing together. The evenings karaoke and bingo were such a good craic too, everyone cheering each other on. Location: Brilliant, 10 mins from the airport. A short walk to the shops, beach, costal paths etc. We enjoyed a walk out each evening and played minigolf down by the.beach. Overall, we has the most amazing holiday here (despite my initial reservations from some of the reviews). This hotel is what it says, a 3* AI hotel in the midst of a refurbishment with no air conditioning. It doesn't claim to be the Ritz, and certainly doesn't charge like it either. My son was upset when we left this morning, because he'd had THE BEST holiday. That's what it's all about, the memories hey! Thank you for a lovely time, we would like to return next year. H&E

I was quite disappointed at times with the hotel. Before we arrived i emailed over having a scooter as I struggle with my mobility. They emailed back to say i could leave it in reception.I hired a scooter and was told i couldnt have it for the week only a day. They were rude i even told them about the email he didn't care. When we arrived we were told check out is 12 but we could still have drinks and lunch. When we checked out he cut are bands off and told we couldnt have lunch. 2 days before this my son checked out he was given a card to get lunch. The good thing about the hotel is the entertainer she was brilliant on the go while on shift. The lifeguard one was on the ball if people left towels to save beds he removed them. Inflatables are only allowed in children's pool the gentleman who cared about his job enforced this. He even got in the pool every morning with a spray and scrubbing brush and cleaned the sides the other life guard let people do what they want and didnt clean the pool. The rooms we basic needs air-conditioning as the fans didnt help in the heat. The hotel needs a revamp. Staff work in the bar, restaurant and reception they do all the jobs while on shift. You can tell the staff that care about there jobs.

The hotel's biggest strength is its location. It is in a great spot and within easy reach of local amenities and beautiful coastal views. We also hired paddle boards through the hotel, which was a highlight of the trip and something the whole family enjoyed. The pool area was good and provided plenty of entertainment throughout the day. However, if you wanted to secure a sunbed, you needed to have your towels out before 7:30 am. The all-inclusive drinks selection was also very good, with plenty of choice available throughout the day and evening. Unfortunately, the hotel fell short when it came to cleanliness and food quality. Our room was a good size and conveniently located near the pool, bar, restaurant, and snack area. However, it felt unclean, had a noticeable damp smell, and the bath was particularly dirty and unpleasant. To make matters worse, we even found what appeared to be a leech in the bath during our stay, which certainly didn't inspire confidence in the hotel's cleaning standards. The food was the biggest disappointment. On one occasion, I was served a raw burger from the snack bar. When I brought this to the attention of a waiter, he simply shrugged his shoulders, which I found completely unacceptable given the potential health risk. In fact, despite paying for all-inclusive, we ended up eating out on 5 of the 7 nights because we found the food so poor. Overall, while AluaSun Cala Antena did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and food standards, we still had a wonderful family holiday thanks to the excellent location, enjoyable pool area, good drinks selection, and activities available. With better attention to cleanliness, food preparation, and customer service, this hotel could offer a much better experience.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous! It is close to the beach, a short 10 minute walk, is close to a bus stop for any day trips and has a nice town centre not far away. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is brilliant with all of the staff being so welcoming and fun, doing activities everyday to keep you busy! The room was good, the cleaners came in everyday to remake the beds and just ensure you had fresh towels and mopped the floor. We had a lovely view and it was perfect for everything we wanted! There was little noise after the entertainment and we had no trouble sleeping due to noise. Overall, the value for money was brilliant, we felt the all inclusive was fabulous with there being a snack bar, the main restaurant and the pool bar open all day. It was a fabulous holiday and I would 100% return. The animation team were incredible and made our stay so memorable so thank you!

This hotel is a hidden gem with it's location to the sea front and beach. For a 3 star hotel this feels like more in terms of location and views. The hotel it self could do with some modernisation from the owners in terms of decoration and rooms (fridges with bottled water would be nice or to be able to buy bottled water and keep cool during the hot months). The food is on an average par with some waiting required on the fresh cook sections. I often found myself having a late lunch from the bar snacks section in anticipation that the main restaurant may not have much selection for the evening meal. The bar snacks food is fresh and hot, but the option of cold meats (ham, chorizo etc) in the fridge would be a nice option for a lunch sandwich or the ability to make a toastie. The same applies for breakfast, some yoghurt that are in pots would be a nice option and alternative to the buffet rather than the runny yogurt and fruit that is on the buffet counter. But the true hidden gem here at this hotel is the animation team, they make the entire experience for the stay for both adults and children. It is non stop energy, laughs and brilliant memories for Alavaro and Gonzalo and the remainder of the animation team and the efforts they go to, to make it the best experience for all who are guests. The bar staff are equally as friendly and all staff that work here. All this mixed in with the beautiful views from the balcony leaves us returning, this was our 2nd time here with another planned but to the sister hotel. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for a wonderful 7 days.

We had the best time here …:. The hotel was amazing hotel staff so friendly and helpful. Loved the location. We went on a boat trip and loved this. Close to lots of bars and a few little shops so stuff to do in the nights. ….. now for the animation team ….wow wow wow such happy people and made the holiday for me and my 13 year old daughter x absolutely amazing . Melt is entertained in the day and night. Please never let them leave xxx hotel is so fab xx

Gloves

A smidge tired and a double bed was two singles pushed together with single sheets… on a tiled floor so they pushed apart as soon we tried to lay together. Otherwise it’s clean, has reasonable facilities, fantastic location and the staff are polite. For what we paid I was very happy and we’d go back!

After revisiting this hotel for the “second year’’ I can confirm that myself and my family love it here. It has all you need for a fun time in the sun ☀️ The mini club, awesome pool games and the entertainment all make this hotel such a fun place to be. My children and myself all got involved with all of the games hosted this year by Jordan, Tiago, Jenny etc who work so hard effortlessly providing fun times by all. We loved the sports complex as it has the pool and splash part so suits both ages of my children. I also love the music and the atmosphere here in my opinion makes this the perfect place to be. The guys on the bar are always friendly and kind to the children and must work so hard every day, the reception staff welcome you professionally and Carlos has to be mentioned personally as he is so friendly to everyone and gave us good advice when approached. The children wanted a McDonald’s however was too far to travel to, so he suggested a few places we could go for food and one being an Italian pizza place which was beautiful. Obviously we had the hotel restaurant however fancied going out and exploring the surroundings. Angie was on the entertainment side last year alongside others and my daughter was so happy to see she was still working at the hotel but in her new job role. The awesome ladies in the shop always gave us a smile and a very warm welcome too. The hair braiding lady is amazing and my daughter loved her hair. I apologise if I have not mentioned everyone. We cannot wait to come back, hopefully next year please!!! Thank you to you all ❤️

I liked it. The food was fine for a 3 star hotel. The service was genuinely always very nice and enjoyable to be around. My only problem was my room. The toilet on some days was barely functioning, and the shower was a bit too worn and old. But my friends who were in another room said theirs is fine, so i guess its up to luck. If you wanna save money, a pretty good choice.

It was my first time staying in a 3* hotel. We booked very last minute, and it was the only one available at a decent price… and honestly? Amazing! Much better than most 5* resorts we’ve stayed in. Maybe the decor is a little less modest and the rooms are smaller, but for me, that’s not the most important thing on holiday. Food… There are fewer options than in 5* hotels, but it’s delicious. Whatever I tried was tasty, and I’m actually very fussy when it comes to food. Maybe it’s repetitive, as some people would say and that’s true. But since when do you get about six different dinner options at home? Just choose one a day instead of eating every single available option, and it won’t feel repetitive. :) There’s a lot of entertainment for both adults and kids. The animation team is amazing. Tennis, volleyball, table tennis — everything you need, and it’s FREE! You only have to pay a deposit, which you get back once you return the equipment. Drinks… Well, I’m not a huge drinker, but I did try a few, and they’re okay. I liked the pins colada. The vodka tastes a bit cheap, but it’s not the end of the world. 😅 People behave much better than in most hotels I’ve stayed in. They don’t get drunk to the point of passing out and make id...iot.s of themselves. The place is not overcrowded. Nobody comes at 6 a.m. with a towel to reserve the sunbeds, which is a huge plus! I come at 11 a.m. and there are still plenty of free sunbeds. Well done! 👏 There isn’t much around the hotel, but that’s not a problem for us because we always rent a car so we can explore everything we want to see. However, the hotel offers a free transfer to a beautiful beach nearby, where there’s also a small town. Overall, I really recommend this place. Maybe it doesn’t have marble walls or huge spaces where you get lost every day, but it’s clean, peaceful, there’s plenty of entertainment, delicious food, and decent people. 😊

Visited for my first all inclusive solo holiday and I would definitely return. It was a last minute decision and booking with me feeling quite nervous to be alone. However, the staff are extremely friendly. Coming from a hotel and restaurant background myself: The room was spotless (and believe me I know where to look) - they are outdated but only in aesthetics. Huge praise for the well lit desk mirror for make up. (The wardrobe did smell old and fousty which did eventually after a few days linger on my clothes so they could do with a blast) Food: delicious with a good range for everyone. Plenty of vegetables, paella and fresh fish but also meat, pasta and chips. Chefs were very quick on replacing any dishes that ran low. Waiters and team very friendly and on top of clearing tables. My main complements go to the bar staff! There were the same five guys every “shift” during my four days there and each one was incredibly welcoming and friendly. As a solo traveller, They made me feel at home and safe. There was one male guest who was looking me up and down while I got my drink and the bar tender called his attention and told him “no”. They’re all an asset to the hotel! I didn’t venture too far from the hotel. However there is a lovely costal walk just to the right as you leave the hotel (there are many steps) which covered three beautiful small beaches with bars.

Visited here with my partner and two young children (4&2). We were really impressed with the service we received. We had a room with 1 double bed, 1 single and a travel cot, we required two single beds, reception immediately offered bunk beds or a room swap. We swapped to a bigger room which meant we lost the balcony, however we didn't mind that! Throughout the day the children loved the splash park and pools, although the pools were very cold! Food was nice but very repetitive. If you have fussy eaters you may find it difficult, its not a restaurant that serves nuggets and things every day for children , it was fine for us as our children fortunately aren't too fussy though. Evening entertainment was really fun for the children, plus adult entertainment later on (karaoke, music quiz). The bar can get really busy so getting there early to get a table is best I will say it can get quite nosiy late at night with people making their way back to their rooms after the bar closes. Overall we all reslly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again

Just came back from an 11 night stay. Rooms are basic clean and great shower fridge and hob in the kitchen, cleaned daily... beds changed every other day and clean towels the same... 20 euro deposit for air aircon which was refunded at the end.. free wifi... beach towels available at 1 euro per day 30 euro deposit again refunded when we left... short walk to the beach and local bars and eateries plus a great play park for little ones.. pool area clean and plenty of sunbeds.. we stayed all inclusive and as we had a little one with us who is a little fussy we struggled with her but we always had something hot and fresh ... breakfast had a good choice ... snack bar by the pool had the usual burgers pizza hotdog fries ect... staff all very nice and helpful... the animation team work hard to keep you entertained around the pool but a lovely quiet pool is available should just want to relax... the evening entertainment was a little lack lustre and could be improved ... we paid for 3 star and didnt expect 5 star... we wouldnt hesitate to go back ... 10 minutes from the airport, lovely location.

We arrived 26th august 2026,at around 11.20pm,walking to the reception we could see it look dated but got our check in done quick, went to our room to drop case's to be greated with a damp and fusty smell, and to see the room was very dated to,basic is all i can say.then went to get a drinck to be told there's nothing open,we can only give u a cup of water,a small amount of ham and cheese in a fridge section then offered for something to eat, went to bed to find we coudnt get to sleep we felt itcy, only to find ant's on our bed and crawling out of socket the hotel did spray but they kept coming back,we went to get some breakfast and when we saw the restaurent very dated wooden pallets made into seat's with horrible plastic cushions on and some of the chairs were very dirty looking,we looked at the food and it didnt look very nice,we went without, then we went pool witch dosn't open until 10am,we got some bed's witch look new the pools are nice but the bottom pool has no toilets or bar,so you have to go to top bar and toilets are in entertainment room there not very nice, quiet at bottom pool more stuff going on at top pool.we tried lunch but didnt like the look of food so went out.the cups you get around pool are hard platic and can be sharpe around the edges,we then went for food at evening wasnt much better,we ate out the whole hoilday just had dricks in hotel,on 30th the hotel started to interduce tokens as well as having bands on allready, the tokens were to get a cup so you get a drinck,to stop cups going into the sea even though we wasnt near it,but if you lost your cup you had to pay for new tokens, suppost to be all inclusive,we had our cups taken so we spoke to rep,but some people we spoke to said they had to pay for tokens.the place is been cleaned but because its dated it didnt look clean. The good thing its near shops, bars and resturants, and not far to beach, the beaches can be rocky in places but nice beaches.bus stop not far and we went to next resort a hour away and was only 5.20 euro each,

We went on our family holiday fully aware we’d booked a 3* property, and at that level and cost we were extremely satisfied. Food was varied and of good quality, entertainment staff were brilliant, and the location is ideal for the beach and nearby shops and bars. Would recommend. The apartment setup makes a nice change from hotels. Oh, and if you love cats, you’re in for a treat 😁

Arun K

This is an ok place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They switched our rooms because we were too close to the entertainment stage and wanted something quieter. The place can be a bit noisy because of proximity to the Lanzarote airport and windows here don't seem to be soundproof. Although after 10pm the landings stop or become less frequent, sometimes I got woken up early in the morning by the plane noise. One advantage is it's close to the beach and restaurants. The food is ok, we were in all inclusive. There's not a lot of options, it's very basic, all inclusive fair. The animations are also quite basic, done in a very amateurish way, but untrained staff. The swimming pools are ok, they get easily hogged by English tourists who queue up from early in the morning and leave behind their towels to "reserve" the chairs. No one to set them right. All in all, it's very average, and we were a bit disappointed with respect to what we paid.

Me and a friend spent a week here and loved it! A lot of the reviews are overly critical, we stayed all inclusive, I am quite a picky eater so not all of the food was to my taste (a lot of fish) but there was always something for me to eat, the bar staff are quick and very friendly and reception staff are always willing to help! I had an issue with the vending machine quite late at night and the staff member sorted it no bother! We found the room quite spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony and fridge was great, there was a 20 euro deposit fir the air con remote, but we did get it back and it was well worth it. We found we never had to fight for a sunbed like other reviews say and pool had plenty of room, would definitely recommend staying here

As.family holidays go, this has jumped to the top of our list. Which is no mean feat when you're used to breaks in Dubai and the Carribean! Weather was perfect, beach is good but lots of man made sand / shingle. The standout features are twofold: The staff are exceptional! These guys are tireless and cannot do enough for.you. Shout out to the animation team: Alex, C, Adel, Evalina, Emile. These guys just made sure you had fun. The other outstanding feature is the food. Wide range and fresh ingredients, well cooked and presented! If you are thinking about here, dont, just come!

Wow! This hotel is absolute luxury. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis and it did not disappoint. The hotel has 5 a la carte restaurants (they do get fully booked so a reservation is required), a gelateria, gyros cafe and the main restaurant which serves an incredible buffet is open pretty much all day and night. The bars are superb with excellent choices of drinks - both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to help in any way they can. My boyfriend and I decided to book a treatment in the spa - we received discount which was the cherry on top! The treatments were relaxing and heavenly. We also opted to use the sauna and indoor pool which I would highly recommend. The hotel has huge pools which can get quite busy, but overall they are spacious. There is also entertainment offered every night which we really enjoyed. The location of the hotel is quite remote - it is about an hour away by car from Old Town Rhodes, however 20 mins from Lindos. It took just under 2 hours to get to the Old Town by bus which can be a bit of a pain if you have children. This is no fault of the hotel but worth nothing. Overall, an excellent stay!

What a lovely place. The Animation team made the holiday extra special. C (Cyril), Alex, Evalina and Danny really looked after me & my family. The activities they ran were great. Aquagym, darts, beach volleyball, and the evening entertainment in the Amphitheatre was brilliant... funny, entertaining and engaging. I cannot recommend this place highly enough & can't wait to go back next year. (Raining back in Wolverhampton now 😕) Thank you Animation team for making our family holiday extra special 😘

Overall great property and setup with access to private beach, if management improves services and bit of cleanliness in and around property including some refurbish work then it has great potential, at times it doesn't feel like a 5 Star hotel as you would see flies around foods stored in the main restaurant, this is not one off but almost all the time flies around, staff seems like overworked and probably not enough paid from their attitude and behaviors. These all could be improved quickly to make it a great resort for a memorable holiday

Mixed Experience: The Bad: Terrible Front Desk & Check-In: We were made to wait a long time at check-in despite there being no queue. Later, when trying to order room service, I was transferred three times on the phone with no answer. When I went down to the desk, the staff was rude and careless. Subpar Food: The à la carte restaurants are very low quality, and the room service food we eventually received was cold and soggy. The view from our room was also underwhelming. Incessant Guilt-Tripping: After filling out an internal feedback form, the reception called my room three times - first to apologize, then to make fake excuses defending themselves, and then to apologize for the food. To top it off, during check-out, the receptionist requested me twice not to leave a bad review. I wouldn't have posted publicly, but the pressure to protect their rating was too much. Great beach: On the bright side, the hotel grounds are nice, and the beach setup is excellent. Wonderful Team: While reception was a nightmare, the restaurant staff and the rest of the resort team were super nice and provided great service. Definitely didn't feel like a 5* resort.

Overall rating:4/10 This hotel definitely needs a complete renovation. The only real advantages are the location and the beautiful view from the pool. Food: 3/10 The only positive things are the fresh bread and fresh greens. However, for a 5-star hotel, the food selection is very disappointing. You will never find seafood here, and there is no proper poultry or steak. Breakfast is basically cheese and eggs, with no fruit or desserts. For lunch and dinner, there is more variety, but the quality and selection are nowhere near what you would expect from a 5-star hotel — it feels more like a 2-star hotel. When it comes to fruit, the only option is watermelon, served at lunch and dinner. Another serious issue is cleanliness. The cutlery is sometimes dirty, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. Accommodation: 3/10 The rooms are very old and clearly require renovation. The walls have outdated wallpaper, the furniture and overall condition look worn, and the bathroom is especially disappointing. The bathroom light takes around 5 seconds to turn on. The toilet is grey rather than white, including the toilet seat and other fixtures. The TV is about the size of a laptop. The bedding was also dirty, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. I will attach photos showing the condition of the room and the need for renovation. Wi-Fi: 2/10 The Wi-Fi connection in the room is extremely poor — there is only one bar of signal. There is no Wi-Fi available outside the building or at the beach, which is very inconvenient. There is a shuttle bus to the sea, which is a plus. If you are not particularly concerned about food, Wi-Fi, or accommodation conditions, you may choose this hotel. However, if you expect the hotel to match the price you pay and the advertised 5-star standard, I cannot recommend it.

Chef Selahattin is very friendly and helpful. As a vegetarian he made sure I had enough food to eat. Every meal time he walked through and showed me all the foods that I could eat. This was very helpful and reassuring. All the other staff were also friendly and helpful. This hotel was the perfect location for my 1st solo trip. If I ever visit this area again I will definitely stay here again. It's the perfect adults only hotel.

This is a fantastic Hotel, set in beautiful grounds with several pools. The rooms appear to be in the process of being refurbished but they are still fine. Lovely views from the rooms balcony. Now, lots of people complaining about the food, mainly Brits I notice, if you are afraid of trying anything new then that's a you problem, the food at this hotel is varied, fantastic quality, I've tried loads of new foods and I'm glad I did, the food is delicious and if you really are a stick in the mud about food, you can still get burgers and pizzas and chips if you must. The chefs do a fantastic job here. The staff are amazing, they really are, I did not meet a single staff member that wasn't great at their job, attentive and helpful and so friendly. Special shout out to the housekeeping team, restaurant staff and bar staff. They all go above and beyond. Fantastic in-house spa/massage/Turkish bath that you really must try if you come here, again, the staff there are wonderful too. I haven't a single complaint. The management seem to be good sorts too. I definitely want to stay here again.

The hotel is a lovely charming hotel with character. Basic rooms but spotless (the cleaners do a amazing job). Whole hotel is clean and hygienic. All staff are amazing. Anything you want doing they will do instantly. The food in restaurant is real Turkish food . (NOT kebab shop Turkish in England!) Has enough lovely dishes for everyones pallets. If you are looking for junk food like nuggets and chips and burgers all day stay in England or go on holiday to a place these are popular..maybe benidorm. We have had no problem with the Mediterranean food. All fresh and such a amazing choice. Puddings and cakes to die for. The bar staff work very hard all professional and very helpful. Yes the all inclusive finishes serving Free alcohol at 10.30 pm , but bars still open if you need more. The hotel has beautiful grounds/gardens. And a lovely walk in garden up to a view point which is stunning. The pools are lovely and very clean and maintained well. The spa is amazing!!!! I had the second package and it made me feel so relaxed for the rest of the holiday. My skin was glowing. The spa manager was so helpful all week with questions we had about best places to visit etc. The receptionist was lovely and helpful Lastly the manager was a lovely he has only just taken over hotel and is slowly rebuilding and improving the whole hotel. I adore his mum. Who comes to sit with us daily. It is a family run hotel. It felt like home to me. It was definitely a relaxing break I needed. Will be returning later this year.

I was hesitant after reading the reviews some people have wrote but I decided to stick with it and not change hotels. Can't fault the hotel and staff. If you have booked this hotel expecting 5 star then you will be disappointed. The saying is you get what you pay for and its exactly that. Food is limited but it depends what you like to eat theres options their. Pool is lovely and very peaceful not too busy when we was there. Spa is 10/10 very well looked after and they know what there doing. Clean room and air con. Cleaners came everyday with fresh towels and bedding clean and changed. Town center in 10/15 min walk the hill is a killer to walk up but easy enough to walk down. Hotel will order you a taxi and will be there within 5 mins if needed. They also offer a free shuttlebus to the beach but you couls also walk. Would definitely say its a 3 star hotel. English understanding isnt great in hotel but they try there best to help

I cannot begin to explain the experience we had at this hotel! The health and safety risks at this hotel were frightening. No hot water for a full week and that’s if you were lucky enough to have water at all. Air con was intermittent to say the least staff were well rehearsed in their excuses but complaints were never resolved. The pool area seemed acceptable at first sight until you slipped or fell on the supposed non slip badly laid tiles. You were either told off for putting an umbrella up in a slight breeze or your child was ordered out of the pool for playing with a ball. More worryingly the lifts just stopped working whilst on the roof! The stairs were locked and you were directed by unconcerned pool staff through a building site with wires hanging where there was a ceiling no windows, holes in the floor to a filthy service lift or a miniature staircase down the open side of the building from the 8th floor. I dread to think what would happen in the event of a fire as it was unsafe and there was no signage at all. The rooms were clean but unfinished with door frames missing, work debris lying around, sharp tiles, creaking toilets ready to fall off the wall. The rooms are cleaned daily to the expense of you holiday lie in with cleaners knocking or entering the room before 8am. Food options in the restaurant were limited but acceptable although I am convinced that the drinks machine permanently tasted of chemicals and one morning we had to water down our own juice due to the fact there was no water to the restaurant . I cannot believe that this hotel has passed any form of health and safety or fire inspection. I am utterly lost for words that the likes of Jet2 even sell this holiday!

Stephanie Angus

I will mention the only con first. The air conditioning in the bedroom was not effective and did not cool the room. It was 26 deg when we were there and it was becoming difficult to sleep. For that reason alone I would not go back to this hotel which is a pity because everything else was really good. The room was comfortable and super clean. The food was good. Staff in the restaurant were fantastic. The location was good too. 15 mins from the beach, city sightseeing bus picks up at the door, the bus station is right beside, and the promenade is a 5 mins walk. Buggiba jetty also only a 20 mins walk. Classic car museum is 5 mins walk. It was quite noisy when we were there but it is a built up area and there were renovations ongoing on the roof which we were aware of before we went. The only other slight downside is the pool is quite small and it's hard to get any swimming done unless you're the only one in it. Early morning and after 5pm are the best times. Roof terrace is nice with plenty shade and a bit of a breeze. A rooftop bar will be opening later in the season but staff came round and took drinks orders.

Alida Cassar

Lovely, helpful and polite staff. Breakfast was varied and our room was cleaned every single day and our WI-FI signal was good! Great location with Bugibba’s bus station 2 minutes down the road! Down side was slightly slow to react to rowdy boys by the pool (they did eventually) and loud guests entering the hotel and waking us up! Not their fault but thought they could have reacted a little quicker.

Theresa Stephens

Loved the hotel, it is being renovated still but lots to like. Our room was big and clean. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and look out for Prashanth who was a lovely, kind, friendly man

sheila taylor

Air con no problem, food lovely, staff amazing, pools fantastic will definitely return. Don't understand the bad reviews only problem room small and tiny balcony but great value for money. Restaurant staff excellent 👌

I normally like to leave really positive reviews but sadly on this occasion I'm afraid I'm unable to do so. I travel regularly and have experienced extremely good 5 star hotels but the Royal Thalassa Monastir is not one of them. This Hotel is 100% not a 5 star, at best I would give it a 3 star rating. There are some positives, the Hotel is very clean, the room is a good size, well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and bottled water is replenished daily Staff - some are really helpful and friendly, others not so much Service - this is hit and miss, sometimes good sometimes not so good Location - fantastic, the Hotel is built directly onto the beach which is lovely Dining experience - The a la carte restaurants are fab but the buffet restaurant was absolutely awful. There were queues of people waiting for food being cooked. Empty serving bowls and trays due to food not being replenished in an appropriate time frame. Poor quality of food, poor service, dirty cutlery, no glasses for drinks, no salt and pepper, linen serviettes not changed but refolded and left on the table for the next diners. All in all this has been by far the worst dining experience I have experienced in years. It's such a shame that this Hotel in such a beautiful location is let down massively by the way the restaurant is managed, making meal times a chore and not a pleasant experience. Would I return or recommend this Hotel? Absolutely not!

Worst resort ever!!! Cons - Dirty bathroom with broken bits and pieces - Housekeeping walk-in whenever they feel like - Repetitive food - Dirty cutlery and glasses at buffet and bar - Restaurant staff would avoid helping you - Instructions ignored upon booking - All inclusive wasn’t really all inclusive - AC never works I spoke to reception about the ac not working and my baby sweating in 37 degrees heat and they said to me i will receive a fan in half an hour. 3 hours later after going back and forth they decided to tell me they have none after making us wait and did not seem to care saying there’s not much they can do considering I paid for a 5* resort in which I would have expected a 5* service too. I also did not get my cot for my baby either despite asking many times and had to end up sharing 2 single beds between myself, my partner and my 2 babies so it’s been an absolute nightmare as it’s been an uncomfortable sleep for us all due to the fact that they ignored simple instructions which were mentioned when booking as well as twice while being here too. Simple things such as access to the indoor pool were restricted as nobody would ever be there at 11am when it is suppose to open let alone us being there 11:30am and still it would be closed. I had mentioned this to reception to who said someone will be there shortly but even then nobody came so we just left it considering it being part of the package. As well as this the experience with the à la carte restaurant was horrendous too considering it was paid for. I was waiting an hour for my food in which I had asked the staff how long it is going to be to be told it’s nearly done. An hour and 10 minutes later I found out the order was never put through by the staff so I had to wait in the scorching heat for my food when i should have just gone to the buffet instead which was all inclusive anyways. My dessert also took forever in which when I asked the staff member how much longer as it had now been just over 2 hours of us waiting for our food and my baby getting agitated due to waiting so long I found out it was just sat there on the side but nobody decided to serve it to us. If I am honest this is probably the worst holiday experience I have ever had and I definitely would not recommend this resort to anyone. If I could go back I definitely would have booked a resort elsewhere as the money I had paid was not worth the experience I received but I will do my research next time as it was just awful from the start to end. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my whole holiday as it’s just been one bad thing after the other and I’ve had such an awful experience since the moment I have arrived.

Been back home for a week after being here and it’s fair to say I have the holiday blues. Animation team were fantastic, super friendly, very funny and got everyone involved. From day tine activities to night time entertainment. Bar staff were lovely and attentive. Drinks weren’t the best but the personalised cocktails were stunning. However there is a beach hut on the resort which is a hidden gem and the drinks were fantastic Food was nice, as a fussy eater I had no compliments and again staff were so friendly and kind. The beach hut restaurant was stunning, lovely 3 course meal with beautiful views. What more can you ask for! Rooms were standard, little outdated but clean, big and I found the bed comfortable also. The pool is big, clean and the whole layout of the hotel itself is absolutely stunning. Such a lovely hotel. The hotel takes you right onto the beach, which was beautiful. The excursion staff are lovely and helped us plan a few trips. we did dolphin boat trip and horse riding which were beautiful! The only down fall is you’re only allowed one card key per room. Which personally I hated and to me can be seen as a safety issue. I do think 2 cards for a room is definitely needed as the one key card did cause abit of an inconvenience at times. I’m already looking at my next trip for next year Thank yous again.

Arrived at 12 mid day on the 13/07/26. Booked through Love Holidays , traveled with EasyJet. All inclusive package for my wife and I. Arrived at the hotel and the coach driver opened the side of the bus and left everyone to get their own cases. Mothers with young children struggling nobody came to help them. Went to reception asked to fill a small form in then told to come back to reception in 2 hrs for our room keys. Temperature was 32 degrees at this point. Finally got into the room twin balcony but non of them lock and there was a maintenance ladder stored on the grass beneath us. Coffee facilities in the room as long as you don’t take milk and you are happy to stir with your finger. Shower screen had no sealant on so the bathroom floor was covered in water making it slippery. The beds are large but are like sleeping on a slab on concrete. For an all inclusive hotel , it’s poor, food is not the best , choice is limited. Drinks all served in small plastic cups. The sun beds seem to be constantly reserved so good luck trying to get near the pool , unless you pay the towel lads to reserve you beds. The animation team is near non existent, the so called evening entertainment was a complete waste of time. Nothing to do around the hotel really No shops on site like advertised, a taxi trip to the nearest shop, Considering this is supposed to be one of the best hotels in Tunisia I wouldn’t like to see the worst. The staff just don’t seem interested Positive points The pool area and grounds are clean, beach is ok and a nice alternative to the pool. The hotel wasn’t as busy as expected for this time of year. The weather was great Beachside bar not opened at the times stated a roll of people waiting to get in. The main pool bar only has 1 bar tender so again rows of people waiting for drinks constantly We have just finished eating at the two specialist restaurants that you can book , trust me don’t bother , the food and service is poor Definitely not 5 Star - 4 Star at best

This hotelis very tired in places, it needs a major overhaul. Considering i upgraded my room to the best Loveholidays would allow me to it was still very run down. Furnishings are done and need replacing, the bathroom needs totally replacing. The food is ok, not great but there's always something I could eat. On the plus side everything was clean except the balcony where it looks like the cleaners never touch it. The beds are comfy and the TV worked great. The staff are lovely, very pleasant and attentive. A small tip now and then goes a long way and these people obviously work hard for little money. Some of the management need to work on their people skills but generally bar, pool, restaurant and cleaning staff were exceptional although I question why there is an animation team as other than dancing with some kids they do nothing all day.

Fatima Rafiq

This hotel was so good. Ahmed the room cleaner was the best as he always cleaned my room 4305, 4303 and 4311 to perfection. He also made creative towel animals for when we came back. He was the first person I would see when I wake up and he would always greet me with a smile and try teaching me Arabic as I told him I wanted to learn Arabic. Thank you so much Ahmed you were great!

Beshoy Hanna

They asked me to pay extra $137. I already paid as we don't have any other choices until I contact you to solve our problem, as we found the hotel unprofessional, no hygiene, very poor service , no WiFi, asked to pay extra money charge. The do not have beach for them and they have to send us by our own vehicle and paid extra money for the fuel for the vehicle. Then send us somewhere for more than 27 minutes driving to reach a very bad unclean beach with no drinks or snacks with a very very bad attitude. Even they don't have ice for soft drinks, they don't have snacks and if put just one bad item with a very low quality and test. They don't have enough space indoor to seat in this hot weather. They need to charge us on hard drink while we already all-inclusive hard. Very old fashion rooms with no security cameras in the floors. The food is not enough for all guests and keep waiting long time to get us plates and food. Hygiene in the restaurant is not good at all as they mix old food on fresh food. They don't have Manager for the hotel to speak to. They don't have enough spaces and parasol for all guests that caused us unsatisfied and wasting our holiday time and spending more money to go to outside extra charge beach. As they wasted our holiday time. A lot of people found it's very very bad place to trust or stay. I have the receipt that I paid as well Very bad food, very bad attitude very very very low standard hygiene. We booked all inclusive hard 2 rooms and not all drinks free. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Aleksa Petrović

The hotel, staff, beach, food, drinks, entertainment and everything else were great. Special kudos to the always friendly and positive barista Walid who made our trip x10 better. ❤️ The only slight inconvenience was the beach being 20min away (by foot), but there is an organized shuttle bus every 30 minutes in both directions every day – so it wasn't such a nuicance.

Angela Estherina

We really enjoyed our stay here and definitely would recommend it! The foods are delicious and different every day and the quality also great! The room is quite good, and for sure the service is amazing! What i really appreciate is they always there to help without me asking for the help, and they remember the guests special needs. The access to the beach also very convenient. Basically overall positive experience!

Rudolf Vacha

The only downside to this hotel is that it is not directly on the beach. Other services are absolutely fine. Very helpful staff. I was outside the high season in May and the hotel was poorly occupied by people. I don't know what the situation would be if the hotel was fully occupied. The beach is weaker but with a bar and refreshments at lunchtime. There is a small bus every 30 minutes. Don't expect the extra luxury of a 5* hotel but the price/performance ratio is adequate. I was very satisfied.

Seher Özmen

The rooms were very clean, bright, and spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always focused on finding solutions whenever we needed assistance. Their helpful attitude really made a difference. Another great feature was the convenience store inside the hotel, which stays open until midnight. Although the hotel is not within walking distance of the beach, they provide a free shuttle service, which was very convenient. Special thanks to Mr. Mousa,Mr. Ahmed, Mr. Hody and Mr.Mohammed for their kindness and excellent hospitality. I truly appreciate their efforts and would gladly stay here again.

Mahmoud Ashkar_official

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The service was excellent, the rooms were spotless, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I highly recommend it to everyone, and I look forward to staying here again

This hotel is not child friendly at all, life guards tried to square up to my 9year old in the car park. Shout at the children with no respect even I had 2 children on the spectrum with me and they was always out in situations they shouldn’t have been in by the staff members. They shout at woman also with no empathy, only treat you well if moneys involved. Also NO woman work at this hotel, it’s all men who talk and stare at you constantly and laugh unions themselves. I saw the reviews but booked through agents so was so hard to change but I wish I never ever come across this hotel, it ruined everything my money the kids experience it isn’t child friendly at all. Once the pools close there is nothing to do for children. NOTHING & I mean NOTHING is all inclusive about this hotel except sides they give like salad. This place hasn’t been touched since it’s opened nothings been changed updated nothing. This place needs a whole reform the drinks the food are given like you didn’t pay for it and are lucky to get anything. Ended up eating out so so much. Everywhere is they double charge you please go search a restaurant called Abu Ali, there is where all the locals live and go and everything is so so cheap it’s hard to even spend 200 Egyptian there. The vibe is so so good the food the clothes the fresh juices honestly enjoyed there more than the old market. Would never return to this hotel again! If you booked try rebook somewhere else.

Suleman Hussain

The rooms were in very bad condition, The balcony door would open every time we shut the main door to exit or come in the room. Due to this, since I was sleeping on the balcony side, I acquired 30 bites on my left arm in a single night, which doesn’t count the total bites I got in 7 Whole Nights! The fridge would either warm up our drinks, despite meaning to keep them cool, or freeze it completely, there is no in between. The blankets; you would think it’s from the 18th century. The furniture is very old and antique. There’s a fine line between vintage, and risking breakage and injury. Every time we would use the toilet, the waste pipe would leak and the toilet lid closes every time you put it up. Also, the shower is very crap, the water would spread everywhere. The room service phone doesn’t even work, it seems like it’s there for the aesthetics. They recommend their best rooms to lure you in but then you get a rubbish room. Bare in mind, our room was leaking water, through the ceiling! I thought a roof was meant to protect from rain, not invite it in. The staff were very friendly and helpful besides the odd few, the chefs were very dead and blunt. But the lifeguards were so very kind. The food selection was on and off, sometimes it was good but other times it’s very bad, their breakfast was the worst. I would rather starve than wake up for that. They had no coffee options, only black coffee. Very stingy with drinks too. Location isn’t too bad or good, it’s still far from everything, so consider having to make a journey everyday into the town but also not too far. I would recommend any other hotel until they improve their rooms. The slides were definitely not good enough. How can they be an aqua park if their slide isn’t even 5 metres high???

Overall i didn't have great expectations upon arriving to the hotel. When i first booked on it was advertised as a solid 4star hotel but after a little market research into other review sources I realised it wasn't actually as good as they presented it to be, I had quickly come to regret my choice. Regardless the hotel was booked and I tried my best to enjoy myself. Upon arriving i was met with a nasty wave of layered up cheap perfumes with huge fans blowing hot air around the main office where its advertised that public facilities had AC, it in fact didn't. After signing in i went to check out my room, the toilet was stained with drops of urine and the shower wouldn't warm up, it would also leak through the ceiling staining the water yellow and falling on top of my head making me feel dirty after a shower. Our ac was damaged and the propellor was facing the ceiling so i couldnt even feel it at all. The fridge would either not work or sometimes freeze my drinks entirely. There was a random bathroom sink in the corner of the room with no tap to use. It also had a light i couldn't turn off it wasn't even in the toilet. The bathroom towels were stained too and also the windows never sealed letting in bugs and everything in. The cafeteria never had any AC and also the mama mia resteraunt was never open. Wifi never worked even tho it was called 'tivoli high speed' the dog shhh was so fast my phone was too slow to connect to it. it was so fast we also had to pay for it everyday. Eventually after trying to connect to it for the entire day i connected, but couldn't load any browsers or send messages as the wifi speed was a whopping 2mbps. I had an e sim and even then there was no service in my room. The breakfast was horrendous, there were no glasses just plastic little cups and they serve tap water instead of actual clean water. The coffee was atrocious the food in general was diabolical. I spent most my time going out to eat. facilities such as a the snooker table and table tennis were just a mere display. I paid to play them baring in mind the hotels supposed to be all inclusive, just for the snooker table to be cracked right down the middle of it, the balls just kept rolling and rolling. I don't even see the point of it. I had to pay just have my clothes washed so i ended up just washing my clothes in the sink mainly because the reception staff hardly speaks any english. The best part of the hotel was the cleaners and the lifeguard staff, they were super friendly and very respectful of me and my family. They treated everyone equally and fairly. One staff member who stood out the most was my friend Mohammad the lifeguard. He was incredibly friendly and i hope him the best. Another one was one of the room cleaning lads with curly hair. I never caught his name but he was very good at his job and my belongings were always safe and sound. The aqua park experience is such a low-lie attempt to overvalue a cheap and nasty hotel, the slides were just cheap children slides with a hose to make u slide a little faster, i think i've felt more g force riding a bike. The entertainment team was jarring and beggy and honestly they just pissed me off every time they approached me. They kept asking me to watch a bellydancer and after i refused telling them I'm muslim they tried to downplay it and said "you don't pray so its okay" They were not respectful of my religion nor were they respectful to my wife. Another thing that made no sense was having a balcony, like why cant i see over the balcony why do i need to stand up just to see over the banister. the location isn't great either i travelled so much just to get basic materials. I don't know how i could have low expectations just to have them drop even lower. I felt so bored on my first day and i dreaded it till the day i left.

Bob (Frozen)

Hotel overall was very nice. Lots of sunbeds, although you might have to spend a little while finding one at peak time. Food in general was good. Maybe the meat quality could be better. Rooms were nice and large, ac kept the room around 22-24c. Location is a little far from the beach but they do have a free bus to the beach which we used a lot. Make sure to get to the bus stop 5 mins early as I noticed the bus might be early and it won't wait until the exact time. Very good price. Would come again.

We had an absolutely fantastic family holiday at the Barceló Margaritas in Gran Canaria! The hotel is spotlessly clean, with rooms and common areas maintained to a very high standard every day. The food was excellent a wide variety of fresh, delicious options that made every meal enjoyable. What really makes this hotel stand out is how family friendly it is. There are plenty of activities for children, a great playground, and multiple swimming pools where both kids and adults can relax and have fun. The entertainment and atmosphere make it a perfect place for families. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to make our stay even better. Overall, this hotel offers amazing value, comfort, and a great holiday experience. Highly recommended we will definitely come back! 10/10☆ Thank you🏖🌞

Had an amazing stay at the Barceló Margaritas. The hotel is lovely, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are absolutely massive with plenty of space. The food was amazing throughout our stay, with lots of choice and great quality. There are two great pools with bars nearby, making it perfect for relaxing during the day. The location is also ideal, with decent nightlife and the beach close by. Highly recommend this hotel and resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Gran Canaria.

Negative First of all, I’m referring to Barceló Margaritas, not the Royal section. The room felt outdated. The door was very thin, so you could easily hear noise from the corridor—even someone coughing. The beds were not comfortable, and there was a mattress protector with a plastic layer inside, which was quite disturbing. There were also black scratch-like marks in the toilet, which made it feel unclean. My towel had stains on it. Even worse, at dinner I picked up a plate that had dried egg residue on it. I ignored it and took another one, but it had the same issue. There were no slippers in the room. We stayed on a half-board basis. Drinks were included at breakfast, but at dinner only plain water was free. This wasn’t a big issue for us, but although the staff were polite, we sometimes felt like we were being watched. The food options were repetitive, with almost the same dishes every day. As for desserts, expectations should be low—we didn’t like them at all. --- Positive The staff were generally very kind and helpful. The pool area and the hotel overall were clean. The entertainment/animations were enjoyable, and the cocktails were good. Whenever we needed something, like an iron, it was provided quickly. The staff always made an effort to assist with any questions we had. The shuttle service to the beaches during the day was a big plus, as it meant we didn’t need to take a taxi. Smoking areas were clearly separated, which was great—especially since no one was smoking around children. Smoking was also not allowed on the balconies, which we appreciated. The room size was good.

Yumara: it is a great entertainment they can take people with them in the right vibe. The rooms are very clean and nice. The service is wonderfull everyone is so kind. And the location of the hotel is about a half hour from the beach you can go by foot or with the bus.

I stayed here for two nights, and unfortunately it was nowhere near worth the price. I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel has a 4-star rating—it felt much closer to a 2-star experience. There were a few positives. The location is excellent and within walking distance of the town centre. The breakfast was also decent, with fluffy scrambled eggs and tasty pastries. However, the negatives far outweighed the positives: * The Wi-Fi was terrible and barely usable. * There were no bins in the room, and the bathroom didn’t even have a lidded sanitary bin. * The walls are incredibly thin. You can hear everything!!! * We found ants in the room, and I woke up with bites on my legs after sleeping. * The shower was awful. The temperature constantly switched between freezing cold and scalding hot without warning. * There was no ironing board or iron available in the room. I was genuinely surprised, as even many 2-star hotels provide one. I don’t know how this wasn’t mentioned in previous reviews. * The hotel advertises facilities like pool tables, air hockey and arcade games, but they’re all chargeable. Expect to pay €2 for the pool table, €1 for air hockey and extra for the arcade games. These facilities are also in poor condition, so it feels misleading to advertise them without making it clear they’re not included. * If your room overlooks the river, be prepared for a bad smell in the evenings. It made sitting out on the balcony quite unpleasant. * There’s only one pool, so it gets very crowded. * We booked as a couple but were given two single beds pushed together instead of a proper double bed. The gap between the mattresses was uncomfortable, and my leg kept getting stuck between them. * The toiletries were very basic—just hand soap and a combined hair/body wash. There were no extras like a toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers or tissues. * The TV had very few channels. We only had something to watch because the World Cup happened to be on. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. Aside from the location and breakfast, the hotel was disappointing and didn’t feel deserving of its 4-star rating, especially considering the price we paid.

Absolutely appalled by our experience at Grand Hotel Costa del Sol. What should have been a relaxing holiday turned into stress, illness and genuine concerns about food safety. The first major issue came at dinner when I was served a sausage that was visibly raw inside. We immediately took it to a member of staff, who removed all the remaining sausages from the buffet and had them cut in half and cooked further. We spent part of our holiday feeling unwell. Shockingly, this was not a one-off incident. At another dinner service, we were served chicken that again appeared raw/undercooked in the middle. We took photos because at this point we simply could not believe it was happening again. After already becoming unwell earlier in the holiday, finding more undercooked meat was genuinely alarming and completely destroyed any confidence we had in eating at the hotel. To make matters worse, on the day of departure we were initially told our all-inclusive would end at 12pm despite not leaving for the airport until the evening, leaving us with hours at the hotel without food or drinks. It was only after raising our concerns and complaints about the food issues that they finally agreed to let us keep our all-inclusive wristbands until we left. The location may be lovely, but sadly the experience was overshadowed by poor food standards, lack of communication and handling of guest concerns. Serving meat that appears undercooked not once, but twice, is simply unacceptable. We left feeling disappointed, frustrated and very relieved to be going home. I would not return.

The hotel was amazing. The staff were kind and helpful. The room itself was very nice and very clean, the only complaint i had about the room was the balcony door couldn’t close properly and the beds were separate instead of 1 double bed (not ideal for a couple who love a cuddle) The walls were a bit thin since i could hear a couple next door arguing at about 2 in the morning lol. but that’s not necessarily the hotels fault. The pool is something i saw people complaining about but if im honest, i thought the pool was lovely and deep enough to swim in for all ages and abilities or good if you wanted to just cool off. The drinks were lovely but i would say small so i would finish a drink in one go and have to go get another but they tasted phenomenal. There was good options for food but i wouldn’t say it was the best food for all inclusive it was cold sometimes and lacked flavour on certain dishes. However breakfast was AMAZING. there a coffee machine in the food all and up in the lounge area which had a good selection too. There’s ATM’s, Vending machines that had snacks, drinks and pharmacy supplies (plasters, bug spray, toothpaste/brushes, sexual health products and menstrual products which i thought was good and inexpensive. There was lots to do in the area and the beach was clean and safe for all. We even visited Gibraltar on our trip which the hotel staff helped out with a lot! All in all i would recommend the hotel and re-visit for sure!

I stayed at Hotel Grans Costa del Sol and overall had a pleasant stay, though there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. First of all, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, which made check-in and any questions during the stay easy. One of the bar staff members was especially kind and made us some very nice non-alcoholic drinks, which we really appreciated. The cleaning staff were also excellent. They cleaned the hotel and rooms every day and were always very polite and hardworking. In terms of the hotel itself, it felt more like a 3-star hotel than a 4-star, as some areas look a bit old and could use renovation. Our room walls were slightly dirty, so refreshing some rooms would definitely improve the overall experience. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay, so we couldn’t swim and I cannot comment on the pool facilities. The food in the restaurant was tasty, but the breakfast was quite similar every day. It would be nice if the hotel added more variety, especially more savory options, since not everyone prefers sweet food in the morning. Also, different meats were sometimes cooked in the same area. It might be better to separate them—for example, placing red meat on one station and chicken or fish on another, since not everyone eats every type of meat. The hotel also organized singing sessions and entertainment, which we discovered by chance and really enjoyed. It would be even better if guests were informed about these activities in advance. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a budget-friendly stay. The sea view is beautiful, and despite a few small issues, we still enjoyed our time here.

My honest take after a 2 night stay This was a surprise weekend getaway arranged by my wife but unfortunately the experience was nowhere near worth what we paid. I really cannot understand how this hotel holds a 4 star rating it felt much more like a 2 star standard. There were a couple of good points. The location is fantastic just a short walk to the town centre and breakfast was perfectly fine with fluffy scrambled eggs and nice pastries. That said the downsides completely overshadowed those positives. The Wi Fi was practically unusable. There was no waste bin in the room at all and not even a lidded bin in the bathroom. The walls are incredibly thin you can hear everything from neighbouring rooms I could even hear private moments from other guests. We found ants in the room and I woke up with bites all over my legs after sleeping. The shower was awful the temperature constantly switched between freezing cold and scalding hot without warning. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. I was genuinely surprised as even many 2 star hotels provide one. I do not know how this was not mentioned in previous reviews. The hotel advertises facilities like pool tables air hockey and arcade games but they all cost extra. Expect to pay 2 euros for the pool table 1 euro for air hockey and more for the arcade machines. These facilities are also in poor condition so it feels misleading to advertise them without making it clear they are not included. If your room overlooks the river be prepared for an unpleasant smell in the evenings. It made sitting out on the balcony quite uncomfortable. There is only one swimming pool so it gets very crowded. We booked as a couple but were given two single beds pushed together instead of a proper double bed. The gap between the mattresses was awkward and my leg kept getting stuck in it. The TV had very few channels. We only had something to watch because the World Cup happened to be on. Overall I would not stay here again. Aside from the great location and decent breakfast the hotel was disappointing and did not feel deserving of its 4 star rating especially considering the price my wife has paid.

First time at this hotel and we can't fault the location at all! Right on the beach, gorgeous views, 3 pools, slides, and lots of choices of food and different restaurants too! The entertainment was fantastic and the team were brilliant at their jobs and with people! Especially Ayate who greeted us with a fabulous energy and a big smile whenever we saw her! The rooms need some attention and general maintenance but are a great size! A brilliant family holiday! 😎

Arrived on a Thursday night and our A/C didnt work. Staff offered different room in the same block but that didnt work either, also it smelt bad in the 2nd room. Spoke to holiday rep in the morning and we were offered new rooms in different block and A/C works and no smell. Once settled we found our way around and this is a lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was always fresh and plenty of it, always bottled water offered to the table. Soft drinks are self serve along with coffee machines. Cleaners are awesome and helped whenever we needed them. Several restaurants you need to book but included in our package, Budda Bar was great, the decorations are quite swanky and the food was enjoyed by all of us. Thier entertainment was brilliant.

Nice holiday, entertainment team was so fun and kind. The room was pleasent but only had one plug the other was faulty, leaky shower and had ants. Everyone is so lovely but did have to ask restaurant staff 3/4 times for water etc but didn’t take away from the staff being so lovely and welcoming! Recommend but i would say 3 stars not 4

First time here in Morocco and it’s been a great introduction . The people here have all been so friendly and helpful . Our room was good , very clean with maid service daily -room just looking a bit tired and our shower constantly flooded which we reported but not fixed yet - sadly the room does smell like blocked drains sometimes . Pool is lovely no issues getting sunbeds , nice private area on the beach with lots of shade and no hassles from beach vendors in the roped off area . WiFi works well . Entertainment is every night and well done .we enjoyed the aqua gym sessions every day . Buffet is really good lots of choice for vegetarians which is a huge plus for me . New beach side snack bar is handy with a bar for an ice cold beer with your burger if you want it . We feel very safe here and haven’t experienced any problems at all . Try the quad bikes , horse and camel rides and the croc park all worth it - we used agadir with mo to book all trips and he was very helpful , reasonably well priced and really well organised with great communication via WhatsApp throughout . Visit the souk too , orange taxis freely available outside the hotel and English speaking drivers - just be prepared to be hassled a bit in the souk just stand your ground and a firm no is ok .

We stayed here for 7 nights in March 26, very friendly staff, a good selection of buffet food. We preferred the main restaurant to the speciality dining areas. The usual annoying reservation of poolside relaxers took place with towels draped on them. We would definitely stay there again. It is probably not ideal for people with movement difficulties as there are no lifts to second floor room and a fair number of steps and inclines around the campus.

Jacqueline Aziz

When we arrived the room we were given was tiny. You couldn't sit on the toilet as normal due to the position of it. I asked the move to a better room. The staff gave me a new room equally as small. I paid a lot of money for a four star hotel, two rooms, all inclusive holiday. This is definitely not a four star hotel! The food is the same most days, no flavour at all. I was on the third floor and the restaurant is on the fourth floor. Every morning you wake up to chairs being scraped across the floor at 7.45am. I will not be staying in this hotel again. Beds are only changed every three days and you only get fresh towels every two days! The cleaners are not thorough. I will say that the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Basic hotel in a great location, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel has two decent-sized pools with plenty of sun loungers available, which is a real plus. It’s also in a fantastic central location, with the lively centre of Hersonissos just a five-minute walk away. The beds are very comfortable, and the hotel itself is clean. Now for the negatives… This hotel is advertised as a 4-star, but in my opinion it feels very basic. The food wasn’t great. Although the menu changes most days, there is very little choice, so if you don’t like what’s being served you’re quite limited. This may be because it’s a smaller hotel. The shower was incredibly small and not practical. There wasn’t enough room to close the shower curtain without it touching you, which I found unpleasant. I ended up showering with the curtain open, leaving water all over the bathroom floor. The atmosphere was probably my biggest disappointment. Despite being an adults-only hotel and being advertised as having a relaxing atmosphere, it felt more like a youth hostel. There were groups of young adults being loud, shouting, running around, spitting, and generally behaving disrespectfully. Doors were constantly slamming throughout the night, and noise echoed around the hotel, meaning we were woken up every night. I appreciate that guest behaviour isn’t entirely the hotel’s fault, but it certainly didn’t provide the peaceful environment that was advertised. I also found some of the bar staff to be quite rude and sarcastic, which made us feel uncomfortable at times. They were also smoking close to the snack bar and serving guests in between smoking, which I found unprofessional. On a positive note, the reception staff were always friendly and helpful. Although there are two pools, one is completely in the shade by early afternoon, so it’s worth choosing carefully where you settle for the day. The hotel also plays loud rap and R&B music around the pool throughout the day. If that’s your kind of atmosphere you’ll probably enjoy it, but if you’re looking to relax, it may not be ideal. The volume was often much louder than necessary. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. We paid a significant amount for our stay and didn’t have a single uninterrupted night’s sleep. The limited food choices and noisy, hostel-like atmosphere meant it wasn’t the relaxing holiday we were expecting.

Having just returned from two weeks at the city green hotel with my husband and our friend we all had a fantastic time. The food was plentiful, hot and varied on every meal. Staff were fab in the restaurant, Jimmy, Victor, Bogusia & Niki. Bar staff, Manos, George & Paulina, was amazing, friendly and totally efficient in their roles. There was one guy on reception, Yurek, that we saw all the time that was friendly always said hello and nothing was ever a problem. The room was cleaned daily, except for one day each week, everyone is entitled to a day off. The only problem and this is proper nit picking was the shower curtain hugged you whilst showering. This is easily rectified by opening the curtain whilst showering, not rocket science. Please do not listen to all the negative views, the hotel, staff, food and location is absolutely bang on. Obviously the bad review people are expecting a 10 star hotel which doesn't exist. Totally recommend this hotel and we are returning next year. Big thanks to all the hotel staff. Plus they give a FREE safe

We stayed here for 28 days for our honeymoon and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is situated just off the main street, which is close enough to the hustle and bustle of bars and restaurants but far enough away not to hear them. If you are looking for 4* luxury, I will be honest, City Green may not be for you, but we found the hotel clean, the staff are all brilliant, especially George, Pauline and Manus on the pool bar! The lady who cleaned our room worked so hard and our room could be cleaned daily if we wanted. She never stopped! Food was what we expected from an all inclusive option, they tried to cater for all different tastes and chef was always smiling! Restaurant very pleasant and always working to keep it clean and tidy. Nikki, the wonderful lady who looks after the cats, was amazing! The weather wasn't always great meaning the weekly saxophonist and bbq night with Cretan dancing, were held in the restaurant for some of the nights, which wasn't ideal, however when they could be held outside, it was a lovely experience. Rooms were basic but ours was clean, there is a TV in the room however few English channels which didn't really affect us (we didn't go away to watch TV). We had a couple of maintenance issues during the month which were rectified immediately. The hotel has two pools, both pretty cold in April and May however gave them both a go! City Green is just minutes away from the main bus stop, stop 21, and we jumped on it down to a beautiful beach at Malia called Potamos, near Malia Palace, away from Malia centre, beautiful sand, an archaeological dig which we loved to watch unfold and a stunning tavern serving gorgeous Greek food. On the down side, the outside seating area simply is not big enough, especially when weather is bad or at full capacity. Really needs attention... plus, the restaurant is on the top floor and the only set of toilets are on the lower ground floor... with one small lift. Or steep marble stairs... wasn't a problem for us but not well thought out. The hotel may not be easy for people with poor mobility. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff, from the reception to the restaurant to the cleaner to the bar staff, made it all the better and we will return next year! Thanks City Green for a great honeymoon ❤️

Not a 4 star, as on their signage. Tiny rooms. To close to adjacent building. No sound proofing throughout the corridors so expect no sleep for your duration. Food is tasty but repetitive. Nowhere to sit on an evening. Only one bar and nowhere to go if it rains. The only plus side is the staff are great

Luca Venturelli

Very disappointing experience. When we arrived for check-in, the receptionist who welcomed us was extremely rude and unhelpful, which immediately gave us a bad first impression. Luckily his supervisor is very good. Once we got to our room, we found ants inside, the shower was dirty, and the soap dispenser was empty. We had booked a room for five people, but the sofa bed, where one of us was supposed to sleep, hadn’t even been made. After a long journey, all we wanted was to rest. We asked the reception to have the sofa bed prepared, but despite calling three times, nobody came. We waited for over two and a half hours with no response. Eventually, we had to leave for dinner without being able to rest. Only after stopping by the reception in person again did someone finally come to make the bed. Overall, the service was extremely poor, the room was not properly prepared or cleaned, and the lack of communication and professionalism made for a very frustrating stay. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel.

A very nice property. Lots of room in the apartment. Good kitchen and It had a nice outdoor table and chairs. We were very close to the pool. The only negative thing was a lack of storage for clothes. There was only one closet and no other place to put clothes.

Robin O Donovan

Place and room was unreal, I have to say though when we were checking in and also leaving there was 2 large women with glasses handling reception and check in, never in my life have I met 2 ruder women, unbelievably passive aggressive and full of smart remarks for no reason. Really put a dampener on the end of the holiday.

Matthew Johnston

They make you pay for your own golf balls even though it already cost 80+ euros for 2 hours. The staff were also very rude at check in and when returning clubs. The service very slow for food at club house. Steak sandwich was cold and overdone. Avoid if you don't want a fun time.

Chirag Jain

Excellent stay. Very clean, spacious and peaceful location in Albufeira. We stayed in one of the apartments, had overall great experience and could enjoy our stay. Nearby grocery store Spar was perfect for daily needs. Nearby beaches were approx. 15-20 mins walk.

An Absolute Dream Honeymoon Stay! We chose this hotel for our honeymoon after visiting last September, and it was the best decision we could have made. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special, surprising us with lovely honeymoon touches that made our stay unforgettable. Our room was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and well located. The atmosphere throughout the property was perfectly romantic, peaceful, and luxurious. Every detail, from the incredible service to the close amenities, was flawless. We truly did not want to leave. If you are looking for the perfect getaway to celebrate a special occasion, couple holiday or family getaway, look no further. We will cherish these memories forever and cannot wait to return again.

My stay at this hotel was truly excellent. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job throughout my visit. The service was outstanding in every aspect. Every member of the staff was genuinely warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their kindness and professionalism created a wonderful atmosphere that made the stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you goes to the hotel manager, who was absolutely exceptional. He was incredibly friendly, highly professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that every guest had a perfect experience. His attention to detail, competence, and genuine care for guests truly set this hotel apart. It is rare to meet a manager who is so dedicated, approachable, and committed to providing outstanding hospitality.

Stayed for 10 days at the start of the season. The staff are absolutely fantastic — friendly, welcoming, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, which is clearly a priority, with staff working constantly to keep it that way. On the food front, there was always plenty on offer and I never struggled to find something I enjoyed. The quality and selection were good, and while some guests might feel it is on the modest side, I personally had no complaints. My only minor observation is that the food could have been served a little hotter, but it certainly didn't stop me going back for more! All in all, a lovely place with fantastic people.

Veronika Lushnykova

Pros: very good geolocation, quite close to the beach; the inside looks very beautiful; the staff is very friendly and smiling :) My 2 stars are only for amazing people to be honest that are trying very gard to do a good job Cons: we didn’t like the food (every day was almost the same and not tasty for us); there was a wasp nest right next to the pool and I let the reception team know about the situation and that it might be quite dangerous, especially regarding that some children were there as well, but they ignored me and the nest stayed there until we checked out; the smell in the toilet room was awful because of the drenage hole in the floor that had dirty water inside all the time; towels were given with dirty stains on them so we didn’t use them after all. I don’t think the hotel represents the quality for the amount of money that was paid.

My husband and I have had a very good experience at this hotel, I'm dairy intolarant and the chef, manager, and staff have gone out of their way to show me which food contains dairy. The hotel is clean and accomadating ,very short distance to the beach and nice walks, well worth a stay here. Shane and Joy 😊

The resort is large, but the separation between the Gardens and the Hotel sections is disappointing. It doesn't really feel like the Hotel section offers better facilities, so it's unclear what you're actually paying extra for. I didn't see the Gardens rooms, but the maintenance of the Hotel rooms definitely doesn't match a 4-star standard. The rooms aren't really cleaned—housekeeping just makes the beds. They leave the same bed linens on, don't replace the towels, and the overall cleaning is minimal. There's only one soap dispenser for hands, body, and hair. No conditioner or any other toiletries. It's all very basic. The bathroom drainage was also terrible—the water drained very slowly, causing it to pool in the shower, which was quite unpleasant. The maintenance guy came to fix it twice, but it didn't help,do we gave up on telling them about it again . The staff are friendly, but the service level isn't what you'd expect. The attitude is basically, "It is what it is." The food in the main restaurant is quite good and offers a nice variety. However, if you book the all-inclusive package, the drinks and desserts are very basic, and after a couple of days they become repetitive. The water slides look quite old, but my child enjoyed them, so that was a positive. The evening entertainment is repetitive. There isn't really an entertainment team. There's one woman who gets the kids dancing for two or three songs, then there's a bingo game that costs extra to participate in. After that, I'm not sure what happens because it was already late for the kids, so we went to bed. But those two activities were the same every evening. The kids' club was also disappointing and not very inviting. Soundproofing is terrible. You can hear everything happening in the hallway very clearly, and the kids had trouble sleeping because of the noise. Finally, the hotel's location is disappointing. It's in the middle of a residential neighborhood that looks quite run-down, which wasn't the atmosphere we expected.

Stayed Easter 2025, family of 4 (two teenagers) Overall, very good. Marketed as 3* but the food is 4* easy and the overall atmosphere at the hotel is very good - relaxed but not dead. Rooms were simple, clean, tidy. Service really good, with no issues. Main pool area good and no nonsense with sun loungers - we put towels out c9am and loads to choose from. Didn't use other pools but seemed more hectic (as you'd expect for kids pools). Entertainment was fine, not world-beating but decent enough. Location is a bit weird in that its away from other hotels and the harbour. But only a 20min walk to the main harbour area. And very handy for the Kings Mall (which is quite good). There was also an absolutely brilliant bakery around the corner (left out front of hotel and then left again, 5min walk). Overall, would recommend. Very good value vs 4* and 5* AI hotels.

We arrived quite late at the hotel, but the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags and grab a plate of food from the buffet before checking in, which was really appreciated after travelling. Once we got to our room, we found it to be quite basic but comfortable. It was a twin room with both a bath and shower, a TV with English channels, and a hairdryer provided. The entertainment at the hotel is good, with plenty of seating areas around the venue. However, on busier nights it can be difficult to find a seat as many guests come down for the evening entertainment. Most of the entertainment is child-focused, but after 10pm they also offer activities for adults such as bingo and karaoke. The swimming pools are quite cold, although still bearable, and there are plenty of sun loungers available around the site. The food can be a bit hit and miss depending on the night, but they do themed evenings such as Asian and Greek cuisine. There are lots of options for fussy eaters and vegetarians, although allergens and intolerances are not clearly displayed, so you need to speak to a member of staff for information. The hotel is located slightly away from the busy parts of the area, but it’s only around a 15–20 minute walk to both the old town and the main road where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The mall is also only about a 10-minute walk away and has a good selection of food places and shops. On site there is also a mini market, laundry room, and restaurant, which is very convenient. Overall, we have really enjoyed our stay here. The staff have been nothing but helpful throughout, and the cleaning staff are fantastic and always happy to help with extra amenities if needed.

lyndsey martin

I am here now been here 4 days already and it is a lovely place, the all inclusive food is amazing, they do a different themed meal every night from Greek to Asian roasts my son is very fussy with food but their is pizza and chips every night ice cream snack bar through the day their is a little shop on site that we have only just found. A laundry room aswell as the bar and entertainment their is a pub connected to the site with football food etc ypu get a money off voucher the main strip is about a 15/20 minute walk and a bus route takes about 5 mins. Entertainment for the little ones is really good too.

1st day arrival experience with potter was not as expected as we struggle to locate our block and room at midnight in darkness. I had a disabled elderly lady and 2 big suitcases and bit of far walk. But from next day dinner and bar service staff gave excellent service and we felt that place is good and we can manage 14 days. Special thanks to George restaurant manager who nicely talked and welcomed us every time. Staff Mia, Eia, Efi, Sorna, Binod were very helpful and welcoming made our experience the best. The food was extra tasteful with various options. Thanks to good chefs who prepared them. We stayed 14 days and everyday we had a various tasteful dishes. Definitely a lovely place to visit.

I’ve just returned from a two-week stay at this hotel in Benidorm and overall had a really positive experience. The receptionists, cleaners, and bar staff were especially great — always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. While not every single staff interaction stood out, the majority of the team really did make a positive impression and added to the stay. The food was good overall. There was always a decent variety and something for everyone, so you definitely wouldn’t go hungry. We did choose to eat out a few times just for a change of scenery, but the hotel food itself was perfectly fine and reliable. The entertainment was excellent both during the day and at night, with plenty going on to keep people entertained. Even though I didn’t have kids with me, the children’s entertainment in particular looked phenomenal and seemed to be a real highlight for families. One small thing to mention is that the pool bar wasn’t included in the all-inclusive package, which was a little disappointing. Also, although check-in is clearly stated as 4pm, it would be great if there was an option for earlier check-in or a bit of flexibility, as arriving earlier in the day can mean quite a wait. There is somewhere to store your luggage, which is helpful, but it’s just something worth being aware of. Overall, I’d say this is a great hotel with a welcoming atmosphere, and I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Nicola Keogh

Faboulous experience, we are just home from a week in the hotel. Kids and adult entertainment day and night excellent. Entertainment staff go over and under to get to know the residents during their stay. Each day making it their buisness to inform on the activities on each day,Remembering names of my 4 girls and that was a lovely touch. "Lucas" was notably excellet, his energy towards his job was so admirable, but all entertainment staff clearly loved their jobs as their energy was so clear towards getting to know residents and ensuring all around them were informed and entertained. Rooms cleaned every day to a high standard. We went half board. . Variety of food excellent. Would suit any pallet each meal as so many options . I would highly recommond this hotel. Walking distance to beach , shops, socially busy near the "strip" but we avoided the social areas and stayed around the quieter areas with shops/markets. Highly recommoned

I’ve just returned from my 3rd time staying at the Sol Pelícanos. I’m a huge fan of the show that’s why I originally stayed here but after my first visit I grew to love it here. Check in: I’ve only had one bad experience with this during my second visit and the guy was very rude which made me snap back, but other than that all staff from cleaners to entertainment staff are exceptional in my opinion. Food: Food for me was fine, it doesn’t blow me away but me and my 9 year old son are more than happy, a lot of options, and great drinks like coffee or juices. Rooms: Again they don’t blow me away but I’ve had great experiences with them. Always get cleaned, big tv also, air con, and nice to relax, to be honest I hardly spent time in my room apart from the odd afternoon chill or when I slept. Pool: For me the best pool in Benidorm, huge, my son loves it, always entertaining on to for the kids like the mat they can run across, or water bouncy castles, aerobics. Also the pool bar is amazing if you fancy a nice cold drink. Location: stone throw away from the beach, supermarkets, restaurants are all close so you won’t be stuck for anything. My only gripe was the last day when I was picked up at 17.35. I had to be out my room at 12. I could have paid for longer but I thought I could hand it back before I left. Felt a bit rushed and has to we over 5 hours. There is a luggage room but gets very crammed. Over: I give this a 5 start experience. I’ve been 3 times and would recommend this place.

I honestly won’t be returning to Sol Pelícanos Ocas. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. The majority of the staff came across as rude and unwelcoming, which really affected our stay. The floor in our room was dirty when we arrived, and although the room was serviced, it didn’t feel as clean as it should have. The food was also very poor, with limited choice and quality that didn’t meet our expectations. That said, there were a couple of positives. The pool area is excellent and is definitely the hotel’s biggest selling point. The cleaning staff were also lovely, friendly, and hardworking throughout our stay. I’d also like to mention the wonderful lady who checked us in at reception—she was warm, welcoming, and made a great first impression, which unfortunately wasn’t matched by the rest of our experience. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. Based on this visit, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend the hotel unless significant improvements are made to the customer service, cleanliness, and food quality.

Nando, Zulu, Lucas, David, Marta, Lucia, Leticia, Nino, Diego, Carmen, Victoria, Miki, Alicia We have had an amazing 2 weeks at this hotel, the entertainments team have been absolutely outstanding. Our daughter is Autistic with other additional needs and struggles with talking and communicating with people that she doesn’t know, however, with the understanding of the team we have seen her confidence grow over these last 2 weeks, especially with Diego, Miki & Lucas who she has been willing talking to and hugging, which is something we have never seen her do this quickly and it’s totally blown us away. We have enjoyed all the shows especially The Greatest Showman & Dreamland, we loved being able to get photos with the entertainments after the show, which has created some wonderful memories, our daughter has loved the mini disco every night as well. Every single member of the entertainments team has been welcoming and approachable.
