My vacation in 2025 was simply magical!
Beautiful setting, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff — everything was perfect.
And the food… absolutely unreal! It felt like they gathered all the tastiest things in the world and served them to us.
There are shops right on the hotel grounds with great prices — super convenient.
The beach was clean, the sand soft, and the sea warm and welcoming.
I'm so happy I chose this hotel. 💛

We found the staff at the hotel to be absolutely first class. Extremely friendly and could not do enough for us. The entertainment during the day and in the evening was excellent. Always something to do. Berkay especially was great and clearly loves to dance and have fun!! . Always checking in and having a laugh with my kids. A great lad!
We found the food to be great also. Loads to choose from and always of a high quality.

This is an excellent place if you have no standards.
It’s obvious that the rest of the reviews are fake from profiles that have never reviewed anything before. They are trying to drown out the honest reviews.
Starting from driving up to the hotel and check in it is definitely not a 5 star resort.
They don’t bother putting the air con on for any guests arriving at late night so expect to be sweating. It was hotter inside than outside when we arrived.
The buffet the juices were sweetened with so much sugar that it was stronger than my coffee. Full fat coke is less sugary.
When we got to our room there was a leak from the AC unit which left a big puddle of water causing a massive slip hazard. When mentioned to the staff they offered another room with only one king size bed however we were 3 adults. When asked where the third person should sleep I was just met with a shrug. All of this accrued between 1-2am. We were exhausted as it was and then settled into the original room. Then staff then start banging on the door as soon as we get my autistic younger brother to sleep and wake him up to “fix” the leakage which they couldn’t do and it started leaking even more.
The next day whilst we were at the pool, I got a message from guest relations that a new room was ready. I told them I would come within 30 mins to pack up and leave the room. They agreed. When I got back to the room 15 mins later, there were 2 men repairing the leakage causing a big mess everywhere whilst our personal and valuable items were just lying around in the open. No permission asked and no warning given.
In addition, we didn’t get shown around or explained anything at check in so we had to figure things out ourselves- don’t know if this was the experience for other guests too but I’ve never had this experience at any other resort.
Facilities that were advertised as included via TUI are not even included. Not even medical care. Our “partial” sea view room was literally a small touch of the ocean right off in the distance you would need binoculars to see.
The hotel staff are rude and unhelpful.
The pools are inaccessible and all of them use the metal drop-down ladders with no steps. This is my fault for not checking the pictures properly before hand but they have advertised as accessible. Unsuitable for any disabled person. When we used the kids pool, it was dirty and had used drinks cups and food packaging in it.
Drinks at the Laila bar will be infected with wasp and flies.
Dead flies cooked into the food.
We had a calm couple of days by staying away from the staff but on one morning, after confirming the pack lunches we would need for an early morning trip the next day, with message proof to the guest relations, Metin that works on the front desk was speaking to me in an incredibly rude and disgusting manner after blaming me for not confirming the lunch packs with guest relations. The tone was disgusting and degrading and he was trying to argue with me at 6.50am in the morning instead of finding a solution. Eyerolls, high pitched tone, talking over me. And apparently they are a 5 star hotel? We left without anything, not even water bottles because we put our trust in the incompetent hotel staff. Never in my travelling experience have I seen this type of behaviour from grown men even from 2 star hotels.
In general most of the staff seem okay. But they are only nice to you until they realise you don’t have any cash on you to tip them. Some of the staff are exceptionally rude and obviously hate their job. The hotel relies on tourism but the staff is trying to drive away tourism.
If you have booked this place, then drastically lower your expectations, only then will you leave happy.

Avoid at All Costs , My Honest Limak Lara Review:
I was really excited about my trip to Turkey this summer, especially to Antalya, a city I’ve always loved. After having a fun and comfortable stay at Baia Lara last year, I decided to try Limak Lara this time because it had more stars and so many people praised it. Sadly, it turned out to be one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. The problems began from the moment we arrived. We had to drag our luggage up a long steep entrance, and although two people eventually helped us, check-in was painfully slow and disorganized. When we went for lunch, the restaurant smelled bad, and the food was inedible yet we still tried to stay positive, thinking it was just a bad day. But the problems kept piling up. Our room had dirty handprints on the wall, and when we politely asked for cleaning, three angry women came in, shouting in Turkish, accusing us of making the mess. One of them even snatched the phone from my hand and yelled at me. The receptionist defended them, claiming it was a “language barrier,” which clearly wasn’t the case.
Over the next few days, things got worse. The food didn’t improve I couldn’t eat lunch for four days because everything tasted awful, and the desserts were nothing like real sweets. We faced racism from a guest who told me I couldn’t sit because of how I dressed as a Muslim. Our friends had a broken AC, and we had a broken door lock. The bar staff acted like we didn’t deserve to be there, and some even ignored us while we were speaking. Then came the worst part: theft. My parents lost personal belongings from their own balcony. My friend and I kept losing shoes by the pool. I even lost my expensive charger inside my room, and eventually, my phone, AirPods, floaties, and new shoes disappeared all from a bag right next to me. When I reported it, the staff acted like it was my fault , not there job , and didn’t take me seriously. One man even asked to speak to my father instead of respecting me. It was humiliating.
At that point, we were all fed up. We wrote down everything that went wrong including our lost items and decided that people deserve to know the truth. The hotel might look fancy from the outside, but behind the scenes, it’s a mess. And yes, they ask guests to write fake reviews , my cousin was told to write “the food is great.” He refused.
This was supposed to be a relaxing holiday, but it turned into stress, frustration, and sadness. I do not recommend Limak Lara to anyone. Luxury means nothing without respect, safety, and honesty.
MELEK BELEN
Positive aspects:
The service is excellent. The food is varied. Staff are very attentive. There are many pools and activities. The sea and sand are very nice. The guest relations team arranged a special daily meal tailored to our baby’s allergy story, which really comforted us. They even provided service for sterilizing the baby bottle using a sterilization machine.
Negative aspects:
The hotel is very outdated. The shower area is old. The closets are old. The mini-bar doesn’t cool. The toilet flush works only on the second or third press. Even the air conditioning system is outdated. You can’t find cold beer anywhere in the hotel; they always serve the first beer warm.
And the biggest issue: there’s live music until 11:30 PM or even midnight, right in front of the rooms. You can’t block the noise even with the balcony door closed. It was really hard with a baby, we were exhausted every night. We literally counted down the minutes for the music to stop.
Either the music should be located away from the rooms or proper insulation should be installed to prevent the noise from entering.
The hotel layout is like a maze; moving from one place to another is a bit of a struggle. Sometimes the elevator is insufficient, and long waiting times are common. The cocktails are carelessly prepared.
