Stayed for RBC convention. The staff from start to finish were pleasant, friendly and attentive to details facilitating the stay and allowing for an extraordinary experience. The gym is extensive and offers clean facilities and open concept. These include dedicated core workout room, Peleton room, treadmill, stair and step master room and a weight room. Fiorenzo Steakhouse located inside was incredible. Ordered the Chilean Sea bass and half order of the mushroom tagliolini. The Bass was cooked to perfection, no fishy taste and balanced with a soft lemon crème. The pasta again, cooked perfectly. To top off the dinner was a delightful tiramisu made fresh in house. The cream was fluffy and smooth to taste, the liquor soaked layered cake melted perfectly into the crème, little chocolate and orange flavored crunch ball added to texture with soft chocolate chunks to enhance the finish. Appreciate all the staff and management for the service. Lastly, while waiting for the food noticed how well the staff worked together and created a pleasant dining atmosphere.

I am extremely disappointed with the way my family was treated at Hyatt Regency Orlando. My teenage son and three of his friends went into the market to look at snacks. They decided not to purchase the items and put everything back before leaving.
About ten minutes later, hotel security approached them and accused them of stealing. My son repeatedly denied taking anything, but instead of verifying the facts first, they were treated as if they had already committed a crime. Only after reviewing the surveillance footage did the staff confirm that the snacks had been returned and that nothing had been stolen. The manager simply said it “looked suspicious” and offered an apology.
An apology does not erase the embarrassment, humiliation, and emotional distress my son experienced after being falsely accused in a public setting. It is unacceptable for guests—especially minors—to be accused of theft without first confirming the facts.
I expected much better judgment, professionalism, and respect from a hotel with Hyatt Regency’s reputation. This experience left our family feeling humiliated, and it significantly impacted what should have been an enjoyable stay. I sincerely hope Hyatt Regency Orlando reviews its procedures and trains its staff to investigate before making serious accusations against guests. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

This property is a standout choice for anyone visiting Orlando, perfectly positioned within walking distance or a short drive from Universal Studios and several major attractions. Whether you are here for leisure or business, the location is unbeatable.
Accommodations & Amenities
The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and feature modern updates that make for a very comfortable stay. Despite the hotel's impressive scale, the amenities feel well-integrated. The pool area is a highlight, offering something for everyone—from a relaxing waterfall and hot tub to a fun slide for the kids.
Dining & Atmosphere
The hotel offers a fantastic variety of on-site dining. I particularly enjoyed a great dining experience at Descend 21, which is a high-energy spot right on the property. Between the various bars and restaurants, there are plenty of high-quality options to choose from without ever needing to leave the grounds.
Convention Center Access
For those attending events at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), this is the premier place to stay. The two properties are connected by a convenient covered sky-bridge, which is a total lifesaver during Florida’s unpredictable rain showers.
Bottom Line: An enormous, well-maintained hotel that balances resort luxury with logistical ease. Highly recommended for convention-goers and families alike.

Might be one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in in the US! I felt like I was at an all inclusive resort. The rooms were spacious, SO many mirrors especially in the bathroom and there was a ton on property. As well as a lot that is walking distance. If you are coming for a convention, this is a great location as there are sky bridges to the Orange County Convention Center. I thought the texting service to the front desk was nice as well. They were quick to respond! Although pricey and everything on site is pricey, I was very impressed with this stay.

We have stayed in this hotel every year that Spooky Empire horror convention has been there. Of all the places this convention has been set up at, this has been our absolute favorite! Yes, it’s a long walk to the convention area, but it doesn’t bother us because it’s enough space for the convention. We’ve been here as attendees of the convention, and we’ve also been here as vendors, both have been great experiences. I have no complaints about the rooms. The service here is great. It’s central to a lot of things, particularly if you’re going to the convention center across the street or next-door to what is some shopping and eating (you could walk there). It is a pet friendly hotel which my husband and I usually avoid because of his pet allergies but so far we haven’t had too many issues. There was one year my husband had some bad allergy attacks, but we have since tried to help with medication and we bring an air purifier for the room. The club lounge is great. We have used that the past three years. I hope they never get rid of it. We enjoy the option of not having to leave the hotel to eat since we are usually only
there for the convention. Which speaking of, there’s plenty to eat in the hotel but of course you are paying Orlando prices and that’s all I will say about that. If I had one complaint, it’s the distance of the parking garage to the main entrance of the hotel but what are they supposed to do? I’m grateful I have the ability to walk and often I need to walk (ha!) so it’s OK. We usually just pull up to the front unload all of our stuff…one of us goes and parks while the other checks in…easy. Overall it’s a great place, massive, but great!
