Very nice hotel with great views. Staff is very friendly and helpful. View is great overall. Ample parking available, easy access to the hiking trail and restaurants nearby.
Caveats:
If you are looking for a calm, quiet retreat in the summer, this is probably not it. We stayed there in late February and it was quiet enough since nobody used the pool area. Rooms with sea view all face the pool and I imagine this will get quite loud once the pool is popular.
The bed mattress is not comfortable and quite disappointing for a hotel in that category.
The gym is small and not that well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable—it's within short walking distance of the city center and main attractions, yet the room was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Being so close to the Ocean shoreline, Benagali Caves, and made exploring the city incredibly convenient.
The service was outstanding from start to finish. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and even offered great local tips for nearby restaurants. My room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with a fantastic view of the city. I also highly recommend the breakfast buffet; it had a great variety of fresh options. The only negative I did not appreciate is the service at the Bar where drinks are filled with full of ICE and charging more.

We had an amazing stay at Tivoli Carvoeiro. The hospitality was truly exceptional, and the location is perfect with beautiful surroundings. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more special. A special thank you to Hardik, who assisted us at breakfast for all four days — his kindness and attentiveness did not go unnoticed. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to return!

Loved it. From the moment we walked in the doors, we were treated so well. Check in was efficient and friendly. Our room was on the 5th floor but as the hotel is on a cliff, our floor was at street level, along with the reception, bar, restaurants etc. We had a beautiful room (502) with a huge balcony overlooking the cove and the pool area.
Breakfast was amazing. Could not fault it at all. Staff so friendly.
The bar serves food as well but the menu seemed limited. Same food each night. Again staff were brilliant.
They also have a "fancy" restaurant that you need to book in advance. The food here was incredible and the staff could not do enough for you.
Overall we enjoyed our stay in this wonderful hotel and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

The best stay in Algarve! Form check-in until we left, we were impressed with the staff working there. Traveling in August for 2 weeks from Lisbon and along Algarve, this place provided the best experience.
We had a sea view room and the view is really breathtaking. The rooms are clean and spacious. The pool area was huge and we never had a problem finding a sun bed even though it was peak season. The bar at the pool side and the staff were excellent.
The breakfast staff handled every guest professionally and were very well organised. The best breakfast we had and the quality was that of a 5 star hotel.
We ate at the pool side restaurant for dinner one day and it was okay. Nothing great but food was okay and service was good.
Although we had good service from most of the service staff, I have to say a special thanks to Yolanda. She went far beyond what was expected and made our stay extra special.
Also the place is very well run because of Mr Pedro Moreira, the general manager there. I saw him walking the grounds at the Pool area and checking if everything was okay, saw him at the breakfast room the next day checking things and also at the rooftop bar. This makes a big difference as he is really walking the grounds and checking if everything is running smoothly. We would definitely be back! Definitely recommended if you go to Algarve.
