We had a very enjoyable stay at Tivoli Carvoeiro. The hotel is in a beautifull location with stunning views.
Everyone we met was friendly, welcoming, and professional. From reception to the restaurant and housekeeping teams, the service was consistently warm and attentive without ever feeling over the top. Any questions or requests were dealt with quickly, and the staff always made us feel comfrtable.
The only area where the hotel could improve is the condition of some of the facilities. While everything was clean and comfortable, parts of the hotel would benefit from some maintenance and refurbishment to match the high standard of service provided by the team.
Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend Tivoli Carvoeiro. The excellent staff really made the difference, and we would certainly consider returning.

Absolutely stunning view. The hotel could use some work. For the price we paid I was expecting to experience an elevated hotel experience comparable to a JW Marriott. Unfortunately the hotel was anything but. All of the food is ridiculously mediocre. Powdered eggs in block form for the breakfast buffet, downright diabolical sushi at the sky bar and 90% batter calamari.
It definitely could be my taste buds that are the issue, but other guests from other parts of the world (Europe, Asia, South America) all agreed the food was a massive miss.
The rooms were simple beds comfortable. We also had ants in our room.
The two things I love about the hotel are 1) the view and 2) the tuktuks being readily available for a ride to the beach.
If I come back to the algarve I would much rather stay in a different hotel than this.

This time just came to the hotel for the food and the vibes. Went to the sushi restaurant and the sky bar. I also have been here a few times including visits to the restaurant the one. All of them are great, i have a few allergies and have had everything go great! Rhis time around for the first time in the sushi bar. The staff was great! The vuews from here and the sky bar are amazing for a sunset. The sushi Chef was great, worked around allergies and went above and beyond with attention, the same can be said from Mafalda, our server. She was very attentive to the allergies and even more so pleasing. Great conversation, great tips, great service and with a smile at all times.
Once again i will be returning.

An amazing stay from start to finish. The service was perfect, with incredible attention to detail — the staff even surprised us with champagne and a cake for my partner’s birthday without us ever mentioning it, which made the experience feel extra special.
The rooms were comfortable with impeccable views, and the overall decor and upkeep of the hotel were outstanding. Room service was efficient, and the food was excellent, especially the buffet breakfast.
What really stood out was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff — they truly made the stay unforgettable. I genuinely couldn’t fault anything about our visit.

I stayed here with a friend of mine from June 26-30th and the place is amazing! Here are the pros and limited cons:
Pros:
The view! Absolutely amazing make sure you get an ocean view room it’s worth the price!
Breakfast is include and it is a nice buffet that also comes with free champagne
The location is fantastic! Easy to walk to the downtown area where there are a ton of shops and restaurants/bars and the beach!
We had taken the bus from Lisbon and it was only a quick 9 minute uber to the hotel
Had a roof top bar and they had live music one night - fun spot!
Cons:
The beds! The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on at a hotel!
The roof top was awesome but you can hear the music everywhere so if you don’t like that you can’t avoid it!
The first night we were there was a Friday and there was a wedding - they took over and it started at 3 and went until 11 and the music was so loud you couldn’t go to sleep until it was over. Also you couldn’t enjoy the roof deck because it was closed for the wedding.
