Excellent family 4 night holiday! It is far enough away from the busy areas so it is quiet at night but a cheap uber ride to the town. Very shot walk to the beach. (3min) The breakfast buffet was well put together with something for everyone. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We did the dinner buffet once and found it to be underwhelming for the cost. I am not sure if this is typical of a 5 start hotel Europe, but they do not offer complimentary water at the buffet, which I find to be a little strange for the cost. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities and surrounding grounds. The breakfast was particularly nice and we loved the inclusion of the Portuguese Custard Tarts! The only downside was that our room did not have all of the toiletries, it looked like the person who serviced it had forgotten to put some of them out, however the hotel reception were very helpful and provided some to us. The staff were friendly and we left feeling like valued customers. We would definitely stay here again!

There were a lot of nice things about this resort but it is certainly not a 5-star experience. Many of the amenities advertised on their site (shuttle to town, spa, indoor pool) were closed or unavailable. They charge guests 20€ for beach chairs/umbrella. The pool towel system is extremely strict and they still ran out at one point during our stay. The apartment rooms are convenient for a family but very dated and the linens, decor, housekeeping are not up to par for a 5-star resort. When we complained about the missing amenities, we were told it was their policy not to provide any sort of compensation. However, after several conversations with the manager, we were able to get 2 vouchers to the dinner buffet which was a nice meal.
The location is great. The beach is not private so it can get crowded. Better and much more affordable food can be found off the resort property within a 10-minute drive. The drinks and food are exorbitantly expensive even for a resort.
The resort is extremely family-friendly and all of the pools had many children running about.
Overall we had a nice time, but would not stay here again. Better bang for your buck (and a quieter spot for couples) can be found elsewhere.

Initial thoughts are wow!! It's a fantastic hotel within a village. Arrival was good and reception was impressive. Even though I booked a standard room with resort view I was impressed with the room, bed, and balcony. Bathroom and shower not so impressive. Restaurants and bars are not cheap but are worth it. Biggest disappointment by far is the breakfast!! It's shocking for a 5 star. Queues, terrible selection, poor quality. The breakfast really let's down the hotel in my opinion.
If you're going to the beach there is limited availability and expect to pay €30 for two beds. Overall impressive with a shocking breakfast!!

A horrible experience. The staff is very unfriendly and doesn’t really know anything at all when you have any questions, we were met with a lot of ”don’t knows” during our stay. What surprised me the most was the expenses outside the hotels original cost. You couldn’t really order anything you wanted on the menu without paying extra, you also have to pay a ridiculous amount for the water. There’s no real pool except for three small ones that looks like children’s pools. We called roomservice and asked for tea with honey which they couldn’t fix without an extra fee added on the already existing fee for the room service, like come on?? Isn’t this supposed to be 5 stars? What exactly are we paying for? It’s just ridiculous, whenever you ask for something they automatically wants you to pay extra. There’s nothing in the spa without extra costs as well, it also has a moldy smell to it. The breakfast buffet wasn’t good either, dry store bought dessert, everything was dry or hard (seemed old) I wouldn’t come here again nor recommend it to anyone.
