We recently stayed at Tivoli Vilamoura Marina and had such a wonderful experience.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing so warm, friendly and genuinely accommodating. What stood out most was how incredible they were with children. They went above and beyond, particularly at meal times, to make sure our children were happy and had everything they needed. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and that level of care really made our stay special.
The cleaning staff were also excellent. Our room was spotless every day and the hotel overall was beautifully maintained. Even in February, when the pool was a little cold, it didn’t stop our children enjoying themselves and the pool area itself was lovely and well kept.
The food was another highlight. We had a some of our meals at Pepper’s and it was absolutely delicious.
Breakfast each morning offered a great variety, with something for everyone, and it was lovely having a chef preparing fresh omelettes daily. The staff at breakfast were always wonderful.
Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with exceptional staff who truly make the experience. We would highly recommend and we look forward to returning.

We enjoyed the Spa on our first day.
Staff friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, we were greeted by concierge and our bags collected and hire car parked for us, we felt relaxed immediately and first impressions 10/10. Parking is free as a courtesy for hotel guests.
Breakfast is stunning, with a separate food station for dairy and wheat intolerance. All food and stations clear and well labelled for navigation on dietary requirements. We were accommodated with a breakfast box on the morning of our departure so as not to miss out, nothing too much trouble.
The cocktail bar has a great menu, is beautiful, friendly and inviting, we loved it to begin our evening. Again staff amazing.
This is 3 of 4 Tivoli hotels we have now tried along the Algarve and not disappointed, an exceptional location and hotel is superb, something for everyone, even the lobby lounge is a welcome and beautiful relaxing feature of the hotel with great atmosphere and catering options which include complimentary snacks and flavoured water stations.
We also noticed plenty going on for children too. Craft making and a space especially for children.
The pool and grounds are beautiful and well kept with a gate to the beach, we look forward to returning in the warmer weather so we can immerse ourselves for much longer in this fantastic establishment, so much to offer and we only experienced a few nights of this fabulous hotel.
Looking forward to the beach club experience and all its delights next time.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. The food was delicious and bar service great. Very comfortable rooms although there needs to be two comfortable chairs in each room. The one chair with wooden arms although stylish not very comfortable.

The lobby has a grand feel to it and very clean. The big let down is the rooms and we moved rooms. The rooms are very tired. The toilet smells of urine though it was being cleaned every day. Patches of paint on walls where they try to cover up scruff marks and stains. Very tired looking furniture and broken cupboards. Some lights don’t work as they should be. Mattress is very hard and pillows are too soft but you can request a firmer pillow at reception. Breakfast is ok but it becomes boring if staying for a week as the selections stayed the same. Avoid scrambled eggs, I believe they are made from powdered eggs and they don’t taste good. Location is ok if you just want to stay close to the hotel and Marina but if you want to venture out be prepared to walk. We are here in January 2026 and weather is not too bad. The gardens and the pool area look lovely however the biggest disappointment is the rooms especially in the winter months where guests like us would enjoy just sitting out on the balcony and when it’s raining like today, it would have been delightful if we had a comfortable and cozy room. Unfortunately we had to keep the balcony door ajar all day and night to reduce the urine smell in our room. Today is our last but one day before we leave and we both couldn’t wait to go. I’m sorry to say that the state of the bedrooms did not reflect the high standards they portray on photos on their website.

Exceptional experience, I highly recommend. We stayed September 25-26 2025.
I would highly recommend upgrading to the sea view as you get sunshine from morning to sunset, though the marina views are beautiful too (there are no bad views here).
We stayed for our 14th Wedding Anniversary, our first holiday together was in Villamoura 20 years ago so it holds fond memories.
We were greeted by the wonderful Maria on reception who kindly gave us an earlier check in, she was so welcoming it made us feel at home from the minute we arrived, and was so thoughtful in asking about our stay when we were leaving too.
The staff here are a highlight, polite, helpful, kind, thoughtful- there are lots of great views in the world but a talented and knowledgeable team is just as key to make your stay memorable.
Particular thanks also to the manager of Peppers who ensured my gluten free dinner was to an excellent standard and who looked after us all evening - we appreciated everything you did. Thank you for making our evening special.
I can’t fault this hotel and would both recommend and return. We’ve already been looking at flights later in the year to return as they have a heated indoor pool too.
My photos don’t do it justice, but it took our breath away. The extensive gardens are beautifully maintained, there’s direct access to the beach, the lagoon pool is vast and breakfast is both delicious and extensive.
Thank you for making our wedding anniversary one we will always remember, we shall definitely be back. I can’t thank you enough for your warm welcome throughout our stay.
