Very dated, but mostly clean. Repairs and renovations and updates needed. It was good because the price was reasonable at this low season time of year. Beds are very firm. Rooms have a lot of storage place. Having a balcony overlooking the ocean was really nice.

The KUGB England Team stayed at Hotel Algarve Casino while attending the European Karate Championships, and the experience couldn’t have been better.
The location is superb, right on the beach, which made it ideal for a bit of downtime before competition days. We were travelling with a large team and had early competition schedules, and the hotel went out of their way to support us. On several mornings they opened the kitchen early specifically so our team could eat before heading to the venue, which made a huge difference.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were consistently helpful and professional, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. On our final day, with a very early airport pick-up, they even prepared grab-and-go breakfast bags for us, which was hugely appreciated.
Food was excellent throughout our stay. The steak sandwich in the bar deserves a special mention, and the restaurant food was very good. Even the beach bar was a great spot to relax.
From start to finish, the team at Hotel Algarve Casino couldn’t have been more helpful. A genuinely well-run hotel. Highly recommended.

Room was very dated and old needs upgrading hardly any plug sockets to charge our electrical devices, older man behind bar refused me a glass of ice to bring to my room for my wife as unfortunately she was very sick during our stay said we had to order room service and there was a charge of three euros outside hotel was good location only problem there’s not much open in terms of shops and restaurants unfortunately and there’s a lot of older men coming up to us asking do we want to buy drugs so for them reasons we definitely won’t be returning here or this area in the future some of the staff are nice but some can do better in there customer service skills.

Having spent the last 3 days at the Algarve hotel in Praia de Rocha I have to say I’m fully relaxed and ready to get back to my busy work schedule. I would have like to put 5 stars against everything. I’ve really enjoyed myself. The breakfast is to be desired but you can’t win them all. From the first day I arrived Nuno was fantastic and his customer service was outstanding. However having met Carlos this morning with an issue I have to say his customer service is poor and rude. Carlos was not helpful whatsoever and his attitude when speaking was truly unacceptable. As a guest Carlos implied that I am supposed to know the polices of the hotel inside and out before entering the building and was quite happy to argue with me about this. Carlos has really let the brand of solverde down and I won’t be returning to this hotel or brand
Edit*** thanks for your reply. That is exactly what I did with the card and was argued that I should have presented well before I purchased using the card. Not at the time of purchase. I was made to feel in welcome and was challenged when using the card!!

We had an amazing stay at the Algarve Casino, on arrival we were greeted with such a friendly reception team, and made to feel very welcome. They even took our luggage up to the room while we had a look around and a drink on the amazing veranda with the beach view, was absolutely stunning. I had pre arranged for our room to be decorated as we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my husbands 50th birthday and they made it look perfect, even on the morning of his birthday, they sang happy birthday at breakfast and brought out cake and fizz to start the day. Was so well thought out and planned. We were over the moon. The room was very spacious and comfortable and spotless, the balcony and beach view was out of this world, amazing sunsets to watch.
We had a lovely stay with you and look forward to staying again!
Thanks so much for everything.
