We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was a great size and well equipped, with a full kitchen. The shower pressure was excellent and there was never a shortage of hot water. Everything was spotless and well maintained, and we received fresh towels and daily housekeeping.
The pool was very good — although sunbeds could get busy, it never felt overcrowded. The buffet, while not the largest, always offered a good variety of tasty, hot food. The poolside BBQ had a more limited selection, but with a buffet available three times a day and a cake shop in the afternoon, there was always plenty of choice.
A real highlight was access to the other restaurants. We dined at the on-site Italian as well as the Mexican, tapas, and Indian restaurants at Murthu Gardens. Every meal was excellent, with great service. The “Kids Shack” was a fun way to round off dinner at the Gardens restaurants.
The other restaurants were only about a 15-minute walk away, and we enjoyed visiting the beach bar for a couple of evenings — a great spot with a livelier atmosphere. The regular bus service was handy for visiting other hotels too.
The location was ideal: just 10 minutes from the beach, the strip, and the new town, yet still quiet enough to be perfect for families. The mix of guests ranged from families to younger travellers, but we found it peaceful and relaxing — perfect for a family Holiday.

Visited as a family of 4 with two teenagers(13 & 16) early August.
Pros - big hotel, rooms spacious, excellent location to new town, old town and a lovely beach. Also, not too far from airport. Staff friendly, in the main.
Cons- we never got a sunbed when going to pool, & hotel did not enforce not reserving beds. We ended up at beach during day most days, food okay (definitely not 5 star due to limited choice at all restaurants), no drinks available after 11pm amd entertainment finishes at 11 including the games room.
I feel its a lovely hotel but improving food choices, more sunbeds, later entertainment would make it a great hotel. Wouldn't return in all honesty.

A nice week in this hotel. Not a 5 star. Rooms dated but clean and well equipped. We stayed in Junior Suite on 4th floor.
AI was limited, no ice creams or self serve soft drinks or water. Not even one bottle of water in room on arrival. Towels were only changed once in a week.
Kids club was empty, not many families about. A lot of young adults in the place but they didn’t cause any issues or excess noise.
We’d a nice week but I wouldn’t return as not well equipped for families, all inclusive is extremely limited.

Hotel location is fab, easy to get to all the attractions of Albufeira.
About 15 mins walk to old town, 25 to 30 mins walk (15 mins car ride - €4 Uber) to Albufeira Marina and 10 mins to "the strip".
Bus stops just outside hotel.
Staff are polite and professional.
I was in a one bed apartment - very spacious and fully equipped. Sadly, sofa has had very good use and can do with a replacement.
I took the all inclusive option, as a foodie, no regrets.
In short, a great hotel. It's rated 5 star but I don't think you should compare it to other 5 stars elsewhere in the world.
I had a great stay.

The location of the hotel is very near to the new town strip, which was perfect for us. Our room was the deluxe one bedroom apartment with a terrace - it was very spacious for 4 of us. However, don’t be fooled. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable it was unusable. The food provided was inadequate and very basic, with constant flies buzzing around it. There was hair in all the food which was sickening. We reported this to reception, not asking for a refund but simply just to let them know. We approached this situation very politely yet the staff member handled this so badly and was extremely rude. He told us we were lying and that we put it there ourselves, and that lying about such a serious allegation has consequences yet we were not lying. He then blatantly ignored us for the rest of our stay. The hair made each plate of food inedible to the point we had to go to the shops and make ourselves food or order food even though we had paid for all inclusive. Furthermore, we were made to feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe by a male worker. We were talking to him out of politeness and to be friendly, when he tried to organise for us to meet him the next day ( on his day off) , asked us for our personal contact details which we said no and then he followed us to the door of our room as if he was trying to come in. Not only is this incredibly inappropriate, but as 4 young girls we were made to feel very vulnerable and scared by a middle aged staff member who’s job is to ensure we are safe. This behaviour is disgraceful. The lack of selection of food and drinks is tiny, i would not recommend the all inclusive package !!! Towels were not changed in the room, and when we said to reception we didn’t have enough they told us they would bring some right away yet they never did. The reception staff are rude and inattentive to guests needs. The bar and cleaning staff were very friendly and are a credit to the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend unless you were using the hotel as simply somewhere to sleep and not eat or spend time in.
