We had an unbelievable family holiday in pirates village. The entertainment(pirates) was nothing short of astonishing. The energy they brought during the day was brilliant. The evening shows were sensational. The food was good (all inclusive) with plenty of variety and the service was great. We will definitely be back. Family of 5. The kids were 3,5 and 6.

What can I say we have just returned from a weeks holiday in the pirates village. It was fabulous the resort was beautiful the rooms were great i have read a lot of reviews saying the room are terrible im sorry but this is far from the truth. The pools are wonderful for the kids and the 5 lifeguards are amazing they watch everyone to ensure there safety. The location is brilliant a quick walk to the beach and plenty of shops nearby. I will say again I read a lot of reviews saying the food is not good, that is absolute nonsense the chefs work all day to prepare great food all day with great selection that includes the snack bar food. What a wonderful holiday. But the on thing that made this holiday special was the hotel team they were unbelievable from the reception when we checked in so polite. To the chefs wonderful cooks. The bar staff and waiters all day beautiful people so helpful. The lifeguards brilliant at there jobs makes you feel at ease in the pool with young kids. The cleaners the hotel was spotless and rooms were cleaned daily well done. The security team at the door always receive a hello and they would stop kids going out without adults to me that is above and beyond thank you. The artists well they were amazing, wonderful with kids and extremely talented the shows were out of this world. The kids club team were so friendly and made the kids have so much fun from the talent show which was amazing to water polo thank you.thank you pirates village for making our holiday amazing and we can't wait to come back as we've booked for next year. See you then Grant Kiernan.

This was the holiday that confused the life out of us.
All Inclusive. It was not ALL inclusive. You don't get any ice-creams or treats during the day, only burger (not great), a hot dog which wasn't great, onion rings or a cheese and ham toastie. The chips were nice, but the other food was not.
The food during the stay was OK. Very repetitive. But, again, great for kids. Fruit was good, salads were good but the mains were terrible. Everything tasted the same. They had a Beef Steak (no more a steak than my toe) on one night and it was the cheapest cut of meat I have ever seen.
The entertainment was a solid 8 out of 10 at night. During the day it was pretty good. A pirate came and made the place interesting. Sun loungers are a joke, as the umbrellas are at a premium. You have to be down early to reserve an UMBRELLA, not a sunbed.
Staff were lovely. Kind and helpful. But the food was such a disappointment. We are not fussy eaters. But when the meat of choice is Pork every night bar one, you know you're in for a tough week.
Again, the kids had good fun, but even they said they wouldn't go back because there was only "Iceland food" to eat every night.

Rooms were fresh from recent renovation and facilites were good (shower worked well) and the pool facilities were clean and well maintained. The parasols were limited so residents resorted to placing towels before pools were open! Swimming only allowed from 10.30 until 6.30 which is a shame. No comment on food as we self catered. Plenty of good cafes and restaurant options within 5-10 minutes.

Stayed May half term-26. Check in fine, rooms basic but clean and all you need. Food as expected for this type of venue. Great location with the beach and strip within 5-15mins walk. Entertainment good but scary for younger children. Mermaid experience was good for our 3 year old. Major down side... no water in the room at all between 5.15 and 6.15 on 3 different ocassions so have scored service down as that was frustrating after a long day. Was back on my 7pm all nights! Swimming pools only open 10am to 6pm (very strict and often late openinf)
