Sol Cala d’Or Apartamentos

We recently stayed at the Sol Cala d'Or Apartamentos for our honeymoon and had such a lovely experience from start to finish. The special touch of a bottle of wine and sweets left in our room on arrival made us feel so welcome and really set the tone for our stay. The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance, especially Cala Gran beach, which was ideal for relaxing days by the sea. The hotel itself had a very calm and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The communal areas were always spotless, and we noticed the cleaners out every morning keeping everything immaculate. Our apartment was also freshened up every second day, which we really appreciated.The pool area was excellent, with a lifeguard present all day during pool opening hours, giving an extra sense of safety and professionalism. The pool bar was another highlight, the prices were extremely reasonable and the service was always quick and friendly. Overall, the staff were amazing and made our honeymoon feel extra special. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Cala d'Or.

Really excellent experience from start to end 😁 staff were lovely , very attentive and even did me a bday cake tray (without being asked , they must of seen on my passport which I thought was really sweet!). Rooms were cleaned to a good standard and beds changed every few days. AC was excellent which was great as it was SO hot the week we stayed. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all. Pool was lovely , well maintained and a good size with lots of beds. Finally, great location - short walk from the main centre but also lots to eat and drink near by. Short walk to the beach so really couldn’t ask for more. Great stay and would 100% recommend and return. Muchas gracias! ☀️🇪🇸

We had a really lovely time. This was our second time staying here and it was just as we remembered. The staff are so friendly! our holiday didn’t have the best start after losing our spending money in the taxi. We never found the money but Luis and Noella at reception were AMAZING they did everything they could to try and help us locate the taxi, unfortunately we weren’t lucky but they did all they could and for that we are really appreciative. So thank you so much and we will definitely come again.

We checked out and booked another hotel after just 1 night of our 5-night stay. First impressions were good, the reception area is really nice, but unfortunately that’s where the positives ended. When we checked in, we were told we had booked a ground floor apartment, which wasn’t correct. I had our booking confirmation, but we were told there were no other rooms available so we had no choice but to take it. A few hours later we realised we’d actually been moved into a cheaper room than the one we originally paid for. As we were travelling with a young child, we had specifically chosen not to stay on the ground floor. The apartment itself was in a poor state. There were obvious signs of previous flood damage, with warped doors, cracked skirting boards and peeling paint. Kitchen cupboard handles were hanging off, the bathroom door barely shut unless you forced it, the floor was dirty when we arrived, the TV didn’t work, there was a missing lightbulb in the living room and the toilet seat was loose. After one night all our clothes in the wardrobe were damp, we had the worst nights sleep due to the whole room being damp. Overall, really disappointing and nowhere near the standard we expected. We decided to leave rather than spend the rest of our holiday there. I’d recommend paying a bit extra and staying somewhere better.

First time staying at the Sol apartments, The main positive for us was that its in great Location very central to everything, restaurants & Cala gran beach nearby The swimming Pools were large and was always warm which was good although the children’s pool could of been cleaner the hotel was accommodating in giving us a ground floor, the apartment inside was basic but nice but the downside was our front garden area was running alive with ants and we also had cockroaches which were getting into our apartment constantly which created a fear for my autistic son in the room, ants were all in the bathroom the beds were hard but eventually I got used to it there is a snack bar which is handy but does close really early at 3 o clock Overall I think they are basic apartments in great location so would recommend them on that basis but the insects infestation needs sorting outside/treating as they come all in under the street door which isn’t nice and the cleaners did not clean the floors at all To add my parents room 134 smelt of damp on arrival for at-least the first couple of days but my room luckily 135 didn’t have the smell I think for these reasons I’d give it a 3star rating over all
