On arrival we was greeted by the man at the bottom which pointed us to the top, after pushing our 2 large suitcases up loads of hills we finally got to reception and then went to our apartment.
The toilets in our apartments smelt of urine, the cleaners didn’t clean our room properly and some of the days they didn’t come at all.
HOWEVER… the people down at the pool are very friendly and always happy to help, the food is average and good priced.
The pool stays open till late and the kids absolutely loved it.
The hotel is out of distance from the main strip but a taxi is affordable and it’s nice to be away from the chaos.
On arrival me and my partner was not happy with the location but as we got into our 10 days we enjoyed not being close to the main strip and we even said that we enjoyed it that much we would return.

Stayed here for our 2 week holiday, the hotel is steep to get in and out of as you have to park on the road and walk down to the hotel reception and the rooms are all set on different levels which are reached by walking on ramps, so not great if you have walking difficulties.
It is set up high on the mountain side with stunning views over to La Gomera and all the water front from Las Americas to Fañabé, beautiful in the day time and lovely at night seeing the lights from La Gomera and down the cliff to the brighter lit up areas of Las Americas.
We had a studio apartment which was extremely spacious.
With 2 beds pushed together, which are larger than uk single beds but slightly smaller than uk double beds.
The bathroom was a good size with a large walk in shower, which unfortunately due to the design has water running over the rest of the bathroom, easily solved by putting a towel down when using the shower, the normal toilet and bidet, sink and large mirror, a hairdryer which doesn't really dry your hair, the natural heat will do that for you in no time.
We had a double couch which was a double pull out bed and long coffee table.
The kitchen had a good sized fridge and a medium freezer so a ¾ split in the uk.
A 2 hotplate cooker top which we never used, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and pans if you did fancy cooking.
The rooms all come with air conditioning which we left on 24/7 to enable us to cool off but not become cold and sleep better at night, we also had our curtains closed a lot of the time once the sun was out, just to keep the room cooler.
The hotel has a pool and spa pool, they are not overly large as some other family hotels are, but big enough for the people who were using it (predominantly children/young teens) to have fun playing in, right next to the pool is the seating area where you can order food from the hotel to eat, can't say anything about the food as we never ate from there.
Just past the seating area their are sunbeds, you just put them where you want them, as they are all put away during the evening.
Evening entertainment was a selection of live single singer's, some better than others, they start at 8pm-10pm which allowed time for you to settle the children down for the night.
The complex was lovely and quiet in the night during our first week, the second week new people arrived and liked to sit on the seating area having a good time, but when you are right next to the area it is too much especially when they never left before 2am for the 5 days they were at the hotel.
The whole complex was clean and tidy, best thing cleaning staff not wanting to access your appointment early.
You have to let them know when you want clean towels and bedding, otherwise they only empty the bins and mop the floor daily, we were always out when they were around.
The safe is a must for your passports medication and extra cash if you are taking money with you otherwise they are not covered by your insurance, you will get your deposit back when you hand your key back.
You get given 2 card access keys when you arrive 1 of them has to be inserted into the little box just by your front door for the electric to work, just watch out because some cleaners will lift it a little bit so the electric is not on, we spoke to reception about this as we had medication that needed storing in the fridge namely my husbands insulin and our purchased water, the staff didn't touch it after that, so if you need more than 1 access key to your apartment you will need to speak to reception, it wasn't a problem for us as we were always together.
Would I recommend the accommodation definitely especially as it is away from the night life of the other areas, the sights alone are amazing.
I would not recommend this accommodation for people with limited walking abilities as it is very steep, car hire is needed for getting around anywhere as the hotel is well out of the way and as far as I saw it didn't have a shop on site, if it says it does then I never ventured to find it as the hypermarket is only down the road.

We arrived at Panoramica Heights and were given very vague instructions by the gate operator to find the reception which ended up being about 4 floors up which was pretty gutting after a long day and carrying all our heavy luggage with no assistance. There were no signs for reception either so we had to find our way there ourselves.
Once settled in we realised that the hotel was far out the way of anything of interest, no shuttle bus or anything to get down to the beach so we had to embark on two very long walks every day for a fortnight as there’s no way we could have afforded 2 taxis every day. The incline of the path up to the hotel was just ridiculous and caused us great pain in our legs for several days, this wasn’t mentioned when we booked. We’re reasonably fit and enjoy a walk so distance wouldn’t have been an issue, but the angle of the walk was just excruciating.
Other issues with our accommodation included the fact that the air con smelled badly of mould and had mould clearly visible inside. There was also large patches of damp and peeling paint on the walls which grew steadily worse over the course of our stay. We also awoke one morning to find a huge cockroach on the floor which we couldn’t catch. We asked the reception if they could sort this the next morning and provide us with evidence that it had been caught which was never provided so was likely in there for the course of our stay. There were also no plug sockets next to the bed which proved very inconvenient. The fridge also made a ridiculous noise all day and night and was clearly faulty which stopped us sleeping. We asked at least to be moved rooms but we we’re never given this option despite leaving our contact details at the desk, asking regularly in person and constantly seeing people checking in and out during our stay. We were forced to stay in the room with cockroaches, the air full of bug spray and a mouldy air con system with an already bad chest and a constantly buzzing fridge.
Throughout our stay the hotel loudly played aggressive trance / dubstep remix-type ‘music’ which was booming away in the pool area at all hours. The ‘music’ was often full of bad language even with children around, I’m not a prude but there’s just no need for it in a public space, it makes for a very unfriendly atmosphere. Why not just play some gentle instrumental background music which wouldn’t offend anyone? Asked about the music being changed but no change was made. There was also a constant smell of people using marijuana at the hotel which was very unpleasant.
The waiters at the hotel were also incompetent. We asked one night what cakes they had available (the menu said to ask your waiter about what’s available) and he replied ‘I don’t know, man’. Unbelievable. He didn’t say ‘I’ll find out for you’ or anything, we had to leave our table, go inside and try and find out for ourselves. We were also served still water after we ordered sparkling that night; not a busy night either just pure incompetence.
All of the busses for excursions we had booked only collected and dropped customers off miles away from our hotel as it’s so far out of the way, everyone else was dropped off and collected at the front door of their hotels, but we had to be up earlier and got back much later than everyone else due to needing to walk to different hotels for collections and drop-offs.
We asked the JET2 rep if we could be moved from this awful hotel early on in our stay but were told it would be a minimum of £50 to change plus whatever extra cost there was for the new hotel fee and would also take several days to arrange; we refused this on principle, why should we pay extra? The hotel shouldn’t even be on JET2’s books it’s so bad!
Overall a totally unsatisfactory experience, will never return.

The rooms were pretty unclean with hair all over the bathroom and leftover food from the previous guests, the aircon and refrigerator were very noisy and if any guests returned quite late on it was so noisy in the rooms.
But the view was spectacular, apart from the bald receptionist the staff were unbelievably helpful and for the price you pay I was not disappointed at all.
Ooh and if you get a coach to the hotel, get ready to drag your suitcase up the steepest hill ever. Luckily mine got lost in the airport.

2nd time here. First time was amazing no complaints. This time not so great… we had belongings taken out of room/balcony :( when reported to the man on reception my partner was shrugged at and told “you’ve lost them now” but then did inform us he would have the cleaners check the bins (we didn’t hear anything back from it). It was very noisy at night time and most nights we was awoken 1/2/3am in the morning but that didn’t bother us too much. When the main chef is on at the restaurant the food is brilliant however there were 4 days he was not there and the food became inedible. The floors are FILTHY in the room so wearing shoes inside is a must.
Apart from the above the bed is really comfy, lovely views, lovely pool area and plenty of sun loungers. But sadly we will not return.
