This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience we have ever had. We were fortunate to have only booked a three-night stay.
While the rooms were quite decent and the staff was helpful, the overall experience was severely let down by several major issues. The swimming pool is far too small for the size of the hotel. It's so crowded that people who can't find a spot resort to calling security to "forcefully" free up sun loungers.
We were victims of this chaotic situation ourselves. We arrived and found the last two available loungers, so we placed our belongings on them. After a quick dip in the already-packed pool and a five-minute walk to the beach, we returned to find our spots taken and our things moved onto a nearby chair. We had only been away for less than 20 minutes!
On top of that, the restaurant was also extremely crowded, and the food quality was very mediocre.
In short, while some aspects of the hotel were acceptable, the overcrowding and the aggressive atmosphere it created made for an incredibly unpleasant stay. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I wanted to jump on as the hotel has lots of negative reviews and just say don’t listen to them!! We are here now and it’s been lovely. The rooms are new, stylish and cleaned daily. Fresh towels when requested. LOTS of storage for a family of 4, we are staying in a suite in building H. We have a fantastic balcony over looking the adult pool and sea.
Check in was flawless, really friendly. Lovely fresh scents in the reception area.
The service at the pool bar was fast, efficient and friendly, food really nice and reasonably priced.
Let’s all remember it’s August and summer hols so the hotel will be busy. The kids pool is packed, no getting away from it. But it’s August, come in a different month if this isn’t your thing. There is a little private beach which leads onto Cala Esmerelda, which again is pretty full but also pretty chill at the same time. Cliff jumping is fun and keeps everyone entertained.
So the sunbed thing 🤣. The pools are closed off until 9am( it is 9am even though check in tells you 10am) so any sun beds round there cannot be claimed until then but there are also LOADS not in those areas you can towel or go sit at before then. And even though we have kids we don’t want to be fully in the midst of all the screaming so this suited us just fine! Watching the little stampede at 9am was kinda funny though 🤣.
Breakfast is pretty standard & not the best I’ve seen but this also isn’t a 5 star in Mexico, it does the job, sets you up for the day.
All in all I’m super fussy with hotels and I’m enjoying it so please don’t let all the moaners out you off!
Top tip- get up at 8am for the yoga on the beach and get to enjoy the resort at sunrise and with no people, it’s amazing! ❤️

Swimming pools overcrowded (all of them) with barely any space to bathe (you have around 1 m of space between you and the next guest in the pool. There is a sewage smell around the main pool and the restaurant terrace area about 70% of the time. The night shows are insanely loud. We could hear the music and base blasting in our apartment until 10:30 - 11:00 pm every week night. Impossible to sleep with the music and our baby woke up several times due to the loudness of the music. We complained several times and the hotel didn’t do anything about it. Upon arrival they had to come back and clean as the apartment was not cleaned properly. Tons of sand on the floor, foot stains on the kitchen chairs.. The aircon didn’t work properly either, someone had to come to fix it. And the drain of the shower was incredibly clogged with sand from previous guests. I don’t typically leave bad reviews of places, but this deserves some of the worst reviews… The hotel places itself as a luxury hotel (prices are above standard prices) and the amenities are more of a 3 star hotel. The finishes of the apartment are cheap. Additionally, the towels of the swimming pool can only be changed on Mondays, Wednedays and Fridays from 10:15 to 12:15, so good luck in trying to change them if you go to the beach or have other plans aside from being in the hotel… This hotel is not like an enjoyable club med style hotel. It’s a cheap overcrowded version of it.

First of all, it is extremely dangerous. One of the sunshade structures collapsed, and people ended up underneath it — they had to be taken away by ambulance and stretcher. EXTREMELY dangerous.
Nearly all of the wooden poles that were supposed to support roofs looked to be in terrible condition.
EXTREMELY dangerous and poorly maintained — if your child ends up underneath one, it would be fatal.
There was major panic at the pool when this happened.
Furthermore, the rooms are downright filthy. As can be seen in the photos, they were full of what appeared to be mouse and rat droppings. After complaining, the room was sprayed with all kinds of toxic substances, forcing us to leave all the windows and doors open — but it was not properly cleaned afterward. VERY poor.
The beautiful pool shown in the photos is adults only. The smaller pool is PACKED to the brim, so if you have kids: AVOID this place.
They heavily promote the so-called “Dragon Club,” but it’s just a few water slides for which you have to pay extra:
€17 per child per day, and another €22 per adult per day — and it only covers a tiny extra area.
As a parent, you have absolutely nothing to do there, yet you're still required to accompany kids under 12. An absolute disgrace.
Also, not all apartment blocks have elevators, even though they claim they do (as confirmed by the staff at reception).
So, if you have small children in a stroller, you’ll be forced to carry it up and down the stairs every time.
The bay by the sea, which they boast about so much, is completely overcrowded — you can barely walk to the water due to the sheer number of people and towels. The water itself is dirty, full of cigarette butts and trash, and looks nothing like the photos.
All in all: bad service, filthy hotel, no elevators in some apartment buildings, and above all — LIFE-THREATENING.
The photos clearly show that the roof simply collapsed — hundreds, if not thousands, of kilos of beams literally falling on sunbathers.
Avoid like the plague.

We stayed here from May 18th to 23rd, shortly after the opening of the renovated complex, and everything was absolutely beautiful. The entire resort looked fresh and modern, and everything was spotless. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent with a great variety of delicious food. There are three lovely swimming pools to enjoy, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The resort is also very stroller-friendly, which made it easy for us to get around with our little one. One of the highlights is the location right on the beach and within walking distance of a charming little village and a nice harbor. Truly a perfect place for a relaxing family holiday. Highly recommended!
