Loved this Hotel !! The vibe is so fun !! Decorated beautifully!!
The pool has a water slide and you get free express passes!!
The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfy !! We enjoyed our ride on the ferry to the parks which was super convenient!!
The only downside was the ferry was not operating in the evening when we needed to go home after the park and I was traveling with my aunt who needed a wheelchair to get around. I ended up having to push her all the way to the hotel because the ferry had a problem with the course for some reason and could not take us back, which was pretty frustrating but otherwise a very wonderful experience overall.

We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel for 5 nights (2 adults, 1 child). While we had a fun overall experience, there were several areas that could be improved, especially when comparing to our stays at Royal Pacific.
Rooms
The closet space was very small, and the bathroom was extraordinarily tight. After long days in the parks, we really looked forward to a comfortable room, but unfortunately the air conditioning never fully cooled the space. The pillows were another issue—they were all feather down and lacked variety. We had to stack three pillows just to get comfortable. At Royal Pacific, the assorted pillow firmness made for a much better night’s sleep.
Housekeeping
Housekeeping did not consistently replenish supplies. Coffee was not refilled daily, and water bottles were not replaced. At $500/night, we expected these basics to be restocked.
Dining/Market
The Market needs a more true “grab-and-go” setup. Instead, most items had to be ordered at the counter, with cashiers also responsible for scooping ice cream and making coffee drinks, which caused long delays. By contrast, Royal Pacific’s market runs much more smoothly and is well stocked.
Transportation
The shuttle bus to Epic Universe was frustratingly slow. One evening we waited an extraordinarily long time while other resort shuttles passed two or three times before ours ever showed up. Ultimately, we resorted to Uber most of the time ($20 each way).
Concierge
The concierge team was engaged but gave us incorrect information regarding the fireworks and drone show—something our 12-year-old was very excited to see. We were told it wasn’t happening, only to find out later that it did take place. This miscommunication caused us to miss out.
Highlights
On a positive note, The Kitchen had a wonderful brunch buffet with excellent service. The pool was also a highlight—lively, fun, and well-managed. We rented a premium cabana and had fantastic service all day. The DJ kept the energy up with games, trivia, and competitions that were a huge hit.
Overall
We had fun, but if given the choice, we would return to Royal Pacific. Comparatively, the rooms are more spacious, the amenities are smoother, and the overall guest experience feels more refined.

Beautiful properties and rooms! Convenient location so close to their parks! Transportation on the boats was amazing! The restaurants are crazy good! This place rewards you to stay! Such a great value we even got park ticket express upgrades to make the price we paid for the hotel even more of a steal! Do not sleep on universal top tier hotels!

Best hotel experience! I love Hard Rock! I'm a Pass Holder and this is my favorite place to stay when I visit Orlando. Comfy beds, pillows, and I had an epic view! Amazing play list throughout the hotel and you can hear music while you're swimming in the pool, too! Totally worth having the Club Level perks as it makes your stay even more enjoyable. Rock Level had all great quality snacks, breakfast, and refreshments and happy hour throughout your stay. Thank you to Chris and Don who were so kind and hospitable during my stay. The pool was very enjoyable as well and the slide was so much fun! I only have great things to say. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable and lovely. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. I can't wait to visit again for Halloween Horror Nights!

The front desk service was good.
The bedding had stained markers, the pipes made noise every time someone else in a different room would open their sink faucet. And half of our room had no power. We asked to change from that room but they said no. They sent a tech to fix the power issue. However, constantly waking up because the pipes noise throughout the night was not ideal.
We tried to use room service but they said it will take about 50 minutes for us to get our food, I guess we weren't in a luxurious suite for them to treat us well.
Not a good experience at all.
I recommend using other hotel services if you are looking to experience luxurious and good care and service.
Even to exit the building was to walk from our room all the way back to the entrance because they do not have free access for guests that are at the end corners of the building. They need to replace filters for water.
Parking is limited. They said if there is no space to park in the self-parking, that we were welcome to use the vale parking with an extra fee on top of the self-parking fee, that needs to change.
