Landscaping of this hotel is beautiful , ground was well maintained and clean .
The Al carte restaurants were good ,the idea you could book the evening before meant you had a fair chance of eating out , plus unlimited really good concept . Me and my family really enjoyed the burger and Indian restaurant everything was freshly prepared .
Some areas for improvement is probably updating the gym equipment (cardio machines mainly ) gym was large and had the space to do this .The pools were all heated and well maintained with plenty of lifeguards as well as the jetty and beach area .
Would of been nice to see the pub open and running and snooker room( bar side of it open)
All staff were approachable and friendly . My room was spacious some signs of wear and tear I.e mini fridge or shower cubicle leaked water was not a massive deal breaker though . Plenty of areas to escape whether this was along the jetty nets beds , or around the hotel in general .Little things like garden swings ,outdoor fire and herb garden just added some extra additional touches .The room extension charges are fairly reasonable .
Vendors- red flag system in place , but personally I think the hotel should give these companies/vendors a designated area inside the hotel , with clear pricing for every activity they are offering in all currency rates accepted and bank card payments, it true like some reviewers have mention no one wants to be at the beach or pool having being constantly approached . Onsite shop had price labels slightly more but wasn’t to bad sister hotel onsite shops were extremely overpriced but I did haggle these prices right down but as guests you have the option to go in or do not if you have no interest or nothing in mind that your after .

Firstly I must mention Mr Adel, food and beverage manager,and Lulicina, customer service manager.
I had a slight problem,staff wise,and they were both quick to sort it out,very helpful and professional.
The food is amazing, my favourite was the Italian restaurant.the Indian was much better than last year,much more authentic taste,well done chefs.
The room was spotlessly clean, lovley bed,soft big towels,plenty of water and soft drinks in the fridge.
The best bar person was Omar,(pool bar in quiet area) he was always smiling,happy,and very helpful.he even made me a non alcoholic,sugar free cocktail.
I liked how managers came around the pool to ask if everything was alright,and listened to opinions.
In the near future, it would be nice to have a “meet other single guests half hr”, or a table where singles could dine with others,and not have to eat on their own.

I cannot give 5 stars due to the room quality.. the bathroom was definitely not at 5-stars hotel expectations.. old, damaged, badly repaired, poor hairdryer, almost empty hand wash/ shampoo/ conditioner bottles, both bathrooms in the room with bad drainage in shower and bathtub… I was very close to ask for a room change.. in general the room furniture is pretty old and not well maintained ( tv bank/ mini fridge like manually assembled and not well done). Everything else was very good, including cleaning service in the room and the way it was daily made up ( very appreciated the figures with towels!). Would be good to have more info about the things happening in the hotel with some printed paper in the room considering the app is definitely not working ( neither for reservations nor for maintenance requests…). Animation’s staff was great and all people working around always smiling and friendly. Also friendly people in the shops/ activities inside hotel facility ( except for doctor fish, bad experience). Very good food and restaurants variations ( but impossible to book Basilico restaurant in 9 days!!). A bit caotic/ not-well coordinated with rest of the hotel functions service at reception ( I refer to the x-mas dinner booking… we had to speak with 4 people in order to book and when ready for the dinner they were not able to find our table… we managed after talking with other 3 people responsible for tables management). Very good experience with the boat trip and with desert safari. So in general I would say that we enjoyed a lot the experience, but we missed the small details that make the difference in a 5-stars hotel, first of all in the room.

Our stay at Sunrise Gardens Resort in Hurghada was truly enjoyable from start to finish. The resort has a great atmosphere, beautifully kept grounds, and very comfortable rooms. The restaurants offered a good variety of food, and everything was fresh and well presented. The staff throughout the hotel were attentive, polite, and always happy to help.
One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the animation team. They created such a fun and welcoming vibe every day, with plenty of activities and great entertainment in the evenings. Their energy and passion really made a difference.
A big thank you to Jacson, who stood out with his positive attitude and amazing interaction with guests. He has a great sense of humor, made everyone feel included, and always knew how to lift the mood. His dedication and enthusiasm added so much joy to our holiday.
Overall, Sunrise Gardens Resort is an excellent choice for anyone looking for relaxation mixed with fun. Thanks to the fantastic team—especially Jacson—this trip will be remembered for all the right reasons. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Garden Resort Hurghada and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The resort is beautifully maintained, with clean rooms, lovely pools, and a great variety of food that catered to all tastes. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxing yet fun, making it perfect for both couples and families.
A special highlight of our stay was the animation team, who brought so much energy and positivity every day. They worked incredibly hard to make guests feel involved and entertained without ever being pushy. Jackson deserves a special mention – he was an excellent rep for the animation team. He was friendly, professional, and always smiling, making everyone feel welcome and included. His enthusiasm really added to the overall enjoyment of our holiday.
Overall, Sunrise Garden Resort exceeded our expectations, and the staff truly make the difference. We would definitely recommend this resort and would happily return in the future.
