We’re sitting at the airport waiting for our flight back to the UK, scrolling through the photos on my phone, and honestly… I already want to turn around and go straight back.
Everything just felt so well looked after. The housekeeping was brilliant, the choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner was incredible, and the beach lifeguards were always so attentive and professional. The service at the marina was warm and welcoming every single time. A special thank you to Mohamed Abdelghany for taking such good care of us.
We genuinely felt more comfortable than we do at home. Our bed linen was changed daily, which still amazes me. We stayed in rooms 5232 and 5235, and they were cleaned beautifully every day. Fresh sheets and duvet covers, and the children were delighted to find little towel animals waiting for them.
The more I write this, the less I want to leave. What a truly special place.

It was a welcome stay, nice environment with different restaurants for different tastes. Tasteful foods and drinks accessible around the clock. The coral reef at the hotel is beautiful. Excellent for snorkeling and diving.
The service when issues about the room were excellent. The speed of attention amazed me to solve issues. I recommend giving tips provides an added value to get smiles on the faces.
One minor about cleaning the room, I don't have the idea the floors are cleaned with sufficient water.

After my last review was published, the manager visited us during dinner within two hours to ask what the review was about. I have to admit that a lot has changed — waiters at lunch and dinner now come over and ask about drinks, and I can also see improvements on the beach. The management is also walking around, observing, and asking other guests if everything is satisfactory. So my review has brought a positive response, and for this reason I am changing the service rating from ** to ****.

My stay at Pickalbatros Citadel was very disappointing when it comes to service, despite the hotel looking impressive at first glance. The architecture, styling, and the number of restaurants and bars are definitely positives — but unfortunately, that’s where the good experience ends.
The attitude of the waiters is unacceptable. During lunch and dinner, they do not bring drinks to the table and show no willingness to help. It feels like you cannot ask them for anything without being ignored. In the evenings during shows, waiters rarely come around, and when they do, they act as if they are doing guests a favor just by asking if you want a drink.
By the pool, service is almost non-existent. In other hotels I’ve stayed at, waiters regularly check on guests and offer drinks. Here, you might see someone once an hour, and even then without any friendliness or attention.
For a hotel that presents itself as high-standard, the level of customer service is simply not acceptable. Management seriously needs to address staff training and guest service, because right now the experience does not match the expectations created by the resort’s appearance.

An amazing hotel with great choice of restaurants, bars, relaxation areas. The food was excellent. We had a sea view room which was beautifully presented and cleaned daily. The staff were exceptional; friendly supportive and genuinely caring. I would definitely recommend it.

An exceptional luxury resort experience from start to finish. Impeccable service, outstanding cuisine, and a beautifully designed venue with a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. We felt completely safe and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. My children and I absolutely loved it. This resort was a true highlight of our Egypt trip, ranking just after the pyramids and is without doubt the best in Hurghada. A special mention to Mohamed Abdelghany and all the staff for their warmth, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality. We will gladly return and highly recommend it to family and friends.
