Hotel Oasis Lanz Beach was truly amazing.
I’d say: don’t hesitate—just book it.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the very first moment—from the reception and housekeeping to the staff at breakfast and dinner.
The hotel is well-kept, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. It’s quiet in the evenings; if you’re looking for entertainment, this isn’t the place for you.
The breakfast is largely the same every morning, but there is such a huge variety that there’s something for everyone. My partner is vegetarian and had plenty of options at both breakfast and dinner.
There is a different theme for dinner each night. The food is tasty and the selection is plentiful, so I don’t understand why I read some negative reviews.
Our room was spacious and tidy. Sure, there was a small spot on the wall here or a tiny dent or scratch there, but that’s bound to happen. The room was cleaned every day—and believe me, that’s a huge plus with all that sand around. We received fresh towels daily.
It was just a short distance to the restaurants, bars, and the sea; the hotel is very centrally located.
In short: a really lovely, friendly, and well-maintained hotel.

This truly is a wonderful location with clean and modern rooms. The breakfast is varied and covered everything you could want and to a high standard. You can even have an omlettex pancakes and toasties made in front of you. The location is 60 seconds from all the bars, restaurants and shops. A further 2 minutes will get you to beach. Upon checkout a courtesy room is available, which is the best courtesy room I have had. Basically just another suite, not like a locker room.
**I have gave 5 stars as it does not deserve less but there is some issues/ suggestions that could be addressed.
1/The sunbed policy. We were told when we checked in you cannot reserve sunbeds and that the pool area would not open until 10am. Anything left on the sunbed to reserve them would be removed. We thought this was great and would ensure fairness however, the first morning I looked out the window at 8am people were scattered all over the sunbeds and towels were left all over sunbeds. The first day a woman from reception removed some towels from sunbeds which people were not currently laying on. One English woman caused a scene that day and they never came back to do this the rest of the week. So we were forced to have to get to the sunbeds early every morning just to get 2. If you have rules please enforce them and don't worry about english Karen's crying. The hotel is for everyone that's why there is rules.
2/The vibe of the hotel is very chill. However, at night there should be some entertainment and an area to enjoy it. Having the pool bar area at night with a DJ once a week is not really fitting. Bring in some live music and have a new chilled area to enjoy it.
3/ The TV should be in front of the bed in the room.

We stayed at Oasis Lanz Beach Mate for a week with friends and had a fantastic experience — we’ll definitely be returning.
The rooms were spotless and modern, cleaned every day, and the whole hotel is maintained to an immaculate standard. The pool area is lovely and very well kept.
Breakfast was excellent — sitting outside by the pool on the round tables with comfortable chairs, enjoying coffee in the morning sun, felt genuinely great. Dinner was also excellent, with very good quality food and different choices each evening.
The staff were outstanding throughout our stay. Reception were always polite and welcoming, and the restaurant and housekeeping teams were extremely attentive and professional at all times. You can tell the hotel is very well run.
Great location in Costa Teguise and only around 30 minutes from the airport, which makes arrival and departure very easy.

Hotel Oasis on first glance is quite alright. Spacious rooms, great pools and 1 is heated for the children. Breakfast has great options for the price. Cleaning is fine and the whole complex is alright. And I say that in comparison of the price. It is is no way a true 4 star resort. And I will tell you why!
It’s the services. The pool bar isn’t really inviting. The restaurant asks for 18 euro per person buffet. But it is definitely not worth that. (That is if see food as something to enjoy). The staff of the restaurant is the highlight.
We visited the hotel with our 1 year old baby and I requested a couple of times a late check out (5pm) as our flight leaves at night. The front desk keeps saying late check out is only possible until 2 pm or I have to pay a full additional night. Sigh! The shower room was only available at 5:45. Very convenient if you need to leave at 5. Saying that I have a baby and i would really love a bit of flexibility the response was that is what MY baby. Welll oke?
Do I need to share that the hotel was far from fully booked? “Yes but it might not at any moment.” sure lady! Magically a busload of last minute tourists will decide to choose your mediocre service over any other hotel.
Anyway, your in-house oasis lans app shows a very flexible late check out policy(see foto) they just forgot to mention the option to make your checkout as inconvenient as possible.
Long story short. The hotel is ok if you do not expect an extra mile, or centimeter from their service.
For me it means a clear nogo instead of yes let’s return to them. All because of a lousy front office clerk.

Fantastic location for all the restaurants, shops and a short walk to the beach/ promenade. We had parking included with our stay (otherwise it's €10 euros per day)
Our apartment was very clean and the pool area is well maintained. Breakfast selection is fresh and varied with omelettes made to order.
Reception staff v friendly and happy to help with any questions.
Our only negative was the door to the bathroom did not offer much privacy. Overall we enjoyed our stay, thank you!
