Another excellent stay here at the Mirador. We were here for a month, staying in a side sea view room.
It was kept spotlessly clean by the lovely maids.
There was a refurbishment to the dining room for a few days when we arrived, it’s all been redecorated, acoustic sound resonators added to reduce noise, banquette seating, which makes the room less canteen like. New tables and really comfortable chairs , we loved it !
There are mixed reviews on the food and I think some of the comments are unfair.
Breakfast is lovely, freshly squeezed orange juice, lovely breads, hot items, great egg station. Fresh fruit, yogurts, pastries, continental cheeses and meats, cater for everyone.
Evening meals were also varied and plentiful, although it is a weekly rotation, which some may find repetitive. Canarian night is great, every night there are stews, meat, fish and vegetarian options.
The pool area is lovely, and plenty of sunbeds available, towards the end of our holiday though guests started to reserve their beds at ridiculous o’clock !
All the staff are welcoming and helpful, Daniel on the bar is lovely and remembers your order. Reception staff can’t do enough to help, along with the lovely porter whose name escapes me …
All in all a lovely holiday , looking forward to going back, thank you all

Pool and interiors look nice and are of a good quality. Our room (sea view suite) was very nice with walk in wardrobe and large bathroom. The spa is very nice too if you pay €20 to enter. We really liked the waitress Shiela (tattoos and glasses) as she always welcomed us with a smile. Michelle on reception was very nice too. I think what this hotel lacks is a personal touch. The food is quite samey and bland (often over salted) and tastes like what you would get in a hospital canteen. Most of the waiting staff are quite detached and just clean tables with little interaction. We had an uncomfortable encounter with one waiter who was rude to us for switching our forks as the ones laid for us were dirty! Other staff saw this interaction and that we were offended by being told off but no-one came to apologise or check on us afterwards. We were rarely asked about if we were enjoying ourselves or if there was anything we needed. Overall, it’s a place to stay with large rooms and canteen food but definitely doesn’t feel like a luxury resort.

5/5 — Amazing stay in Lanzarote!
We had the best time on our Lanzarote trip with Trene, Pinky, Jose, Vane, Landrca, Bonnic, and MiCHAEL—the weather was perfect, the beaches were beautiful, and there was something for everyone, from relaxing pool days to exploring the volcanic landscapes. The whole trip was filled with great food, unforgettable sunsets, and so many laughs with our family.
A big thank you as well to the wonderful hotel team Alewsia papalia, Ivan, and erlien hanyinzon. From the warm welcome to the friendly service throughout our stay, they helped make everything feel smooth, comfortable, and special. Loved the Seaview suite.
Would happily recommend this place to anyone planning a Lanzarote holiday—and we’re already thinking about coming back. Thank you all the hotel staff from our kids 💙

We spent Christmas at Mirador Papagayo by LIVVO in Playa Blanca and overall had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.
The Christmas dinner was excellent and very well organised — a big compliment to the kitchen team for their hard work and attention to detail. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and the location is truly beautiful and peaceful.
We stayed in a suite with access to the Privilege Lounge, which was a great choice, particularly for half-board guests. It added an extra level of comfort to our stay. The spa was a real highlight — very relaxing and excellent value at £20 for 90 minutes. The gym is well maintained and perfectly suitable for a basic workout.
The animation team also deserves praise. Despite the hotel being quieter during our stay, they remained enthusiastic and welcoming, and we really enjoyed taking part in the activities and games that were on offer.
If there is one small area for improvement, it would be housekeeping consistency. During our longer stay, room servicing and bedding changes did not always take place as regularly as expected. We did mention this at reception, and while it didn’t significantly impact our enjoyment, addressing this would make the experience even better.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would be very happy to return to the hotel in the future.
