Stayed from 15th Jan 2026 for 10 days all inclusive. Our room was on 6th floor and sea view. Rooms have been renovated and are comfortable. Hairdryer not very easy to use, towel rail too high for me to reach at 5ft 4. Rooms clean. After staying here in 2019 before the new management takeover when the food and drinks were exceptional we returned for my husbands birthday treat. Food presently not very nice or tasty. Most days the choice is the same as the previous day. One day l had french bread and butter for my lunch and tea time the only thing acceptable. No choice. Chicken on the grill was only available on two occasions, so unless you like pork no other options. We had to eat out most evenings. Drinks, wine not a nice wine in the restaurant. Only local spirits currently offered on AI option. You can only get served two drinks per couple. With a queue at the bar every evening. Not a good experience. Not worth booking the AI option. Restaurants locally very good.Entertainment some good some bad. I was very disappointed on this visit compared to the hotel last time, nothing as good. This was a special birthday present for my husband. Will not visit again. Yours disappointed.

Very poor food! Been coming here for many years but since it has been taken over by Alexander hotels the food is very POOR. Low quality meat choices, always Cold , struggle to find anything warm and edible . Very limited. Our room was old . Pool area was ok. Such a shame as great location.

Have stayed here many many times. It is a lovely hotel and the staff are brilliant. It is one of the best positioned hotels in Costa Teguise. The food is not always to everyone's liking, and it is very hard to cater for all nationalities. I am totally bewildered to see people walking in the hotel with boxed Pizzas when there is lovely stone baked pizzas in the restuarant. I'm not sure why people have said the food is from the 1990's maybe you're expecting chicken nuggets and burgers eaten with your hands. There is always fresh fish and a joint on the show cooking which you can add, vegetables, rice's, salads, potatoes, chips etc, etc. The breakfasts are very varied.
My only criticism would be that the food could be hotter.
Plenty of sunbeds. Entertainment variable.
Thoroughly enjoy our time here.

After being here a couple of years ago we decided to come back again to celebrate 3 birthdays ( 3 couples ) after a few days its looking like its been a mistake. After 2 days, 3 of our party started with sickness and diarrhoea (not drink related ) they all spent atleast 1 full day in bed. We reported it to reception and just got told to wash hands and use the tongs to get food ! We are in our 60's not teens, so yes we where doing that. The lady was clearly reciting from a company policy memo.
They are also now doing building work in the restaurant part. They have taken away 3 food stations and boarded an area off. In the 4 days we have been here, the lunch and dinner selection has, on quite a few times been cold.
The outside pool area has been "painted" in some sort of non slip paint, which in alot of areas has started peeling off. Some areas have been barriered off but quit a few more are not and if you are unsteady on your feet they are a bad trip hazard.
We where excited about returning but unfortunately its not been great. It was a 4* hotel (and deserved) but now 3* for food and hotel condition.
This is just our opinion.

Been at the hotel all inclusive for 10 days, here’s my honest opinion.
This is the one reason we will never come back to this hotel. SMOKING.
Whilst it’s not permitted to smoke on the balconies of the rooms, people do.
Around the pool there’s a nice decked area with chairs and tables, and near the outdoor bar a covered area with lots of table and chairs, these seem to be the areas preferred by the smokers, and there’s a lot of them.
I sat this morning with no one around me, then the smokers arrived and having asthma I had to move. I questioned with the hotel reception why all the nice outdoors areas at the hotel allow smoking and there’s literally no where that’s out of bounds for smoking across the whole pool area, except a small area next to the door to the hotel which is covered and gets no sun, to be told it’s within the law. Seems the hotel are on the side of the smokers, I’m guessing if they banned smoking they’d lose most of their customer base, who are all of a certain age. If the hotel could see sense and make just one of the seated pool areas no smoking surely that would be a fairer way to do things for all the guests at the hotel.
This afternoon I sat at the only area outside the hotel that is a designated non smoking area, just next to the doors, rubbish chairs , no sun, signs everywhere but still people smoking. Wear nice sandals for dinner they send you back to your room to change, choose to subject people with asthma to your smoke in a designated non smoking area nothings done (see photo)
Hotel is dated and needs some tlc especially the outdoor pool area which is old, tiles missing from the pool, uncomfortable sun loungers. One of the pools is heated which is nice at a constant 29c.
The rooms are nice, bright, comfortable, nice view of the sea from the balcony. Glasses and cups are not changed, leaving you with yesterday’s tea residue to clean yourself. The water bottle is also not replenished and is too big to fit under the bathroom taps or the water station taps inside the hotel. You have to go to the outside water station to fill them, and given you can’t take glass poolside where the outdoor stations are, this doesn’t work either so we’ve never had our water bottle filled up since day 1.
Staff -
the cleaning ladies are really pleasant and have a tough job. The bar lady outdoors is a bit abrupt especially if you go for a drink with 3 minutes until closing, as she tends to close the bar early and then question your ability to read a sign (closed)
The entertainment team are really energetic and do a great job. There’s always lots of activities to do.
Food-
The food isn’t bad, lots of choice, tasty. We had frozen sweetcorn in a salad, but other than that no complaints with the food. 5 mornings we had to wait as there were no bowls, and when they came they were straight out of the dishwasher, red hot, not good for your morning cereals.
No gluten free bread option.
Drinks choice -
The only beer you can have is Amstel, and you only ever get a small glass, which leads to long queues because people take no time at all to drink their small beer and then head back to the bar for a refill. Lots of spirits, wine and sangria to choose from.
Location -
Great location, right opposite the beach, easy walk to bars and restaurants.
We won’t ever be coming back until they balance out the rights of non smokers with the rights of smokers. We’re not in the 1970’s anymore, thought the hotel, the clients and the staff make you feel like you are.
