Our first time in Lanzarote and the hotel was great. We booked through On the Beach and everything from check in to check out was smooth. Hotel staff were really helpful on arrival and quick to get us in our room after a flight delay and trouble with transfers. Over the week we stayed we had a wind weather warning which wasn’t the best news but the grounds of the hotel were great, some spaces really shaded from the wind and the sun. The aqua gym instructor was very energetic, just what was needed to get going in the morning. The all inclusive food options were good but sometimes limited with lots of thick/creamy sauces which we were not a fan of. The service in the restaurants was great. Would recommend and return if we were ever to come back to the island.

The Grand Teguise Playa offers a warm atmosphere, fantastic staff, and a pleasant overall stay close to shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and beach. The hotel leaves a great first impression—the reception area is very welcoming with plenty of plants and ferns over 5 floors We would still happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. The animation team deserves a shout out! They were friendly, energetic, and engaging. A special mention goes to Bellen, who kept us smiling & entertained.​ Service: From reception to the restaurant, the team was consistently attentive and polite. A few minor details that could be addressed:​ Sunbed: Guests start "reserving" sun loungers as early as 7:30 AM, yet many go unused until the afternoon (or aren't used at all). Pool bar: The reusable plastic cups by the pool could use a more thorough cleaning process—on a couple of occasions, we found remnants of dirt or ash in them.​ Food Variety: While the food was ok, the overall buffet choice felt a bit limited at times

Absolutely beautiful hotel lobby with plants and greenery surrounding you as you walk in. The bar is below the reception which makes for a cool first impression where you look down onto the bar, trees and fishponds below. We stayed in the 6th floor and the view was breathtaking, this was my first abroad holiday and my experience at this hotel was honestly 10/10. There is a beach outside the walls of the hotel, I went snorkeling and there was hundreds of fish of different types. There was a warm pool and a cold pool, so depending on your mood you could choose your temperature. The restaurant was top class, no complaints, with a impressive variety of food to choose from. Obviously I had to try basically everything. They do breakfast 8am till 10:30am, lunch 1pm till 3pm, an outdoor grill with hotdogs, burgers and chips 3:30pm till 5pm, then dinner 6pm till 9pm. The outdoor bar I believe was 10am till 6pm near the pool which offered a wide selection of alcoholic drinks, was also a soft drink self dispense station which you can help yourself too. Hot drinks available too if you wish, snacks such as sandwichs available throughout the day also. The indoor bar was open 6pm till midnight, again a wide variety of options, I believe they did a cocktail of the day also. I was on the disaronno, honey rum and pina colada throughout the week. Two pool tables near the bar for €2 per game, they did karaoke after entertainment most nights it seems. Entertainment was roughly after dinner so around 9pm till 10pm most nights, some longer some shorter. But quite a lot of variety throughout the week. The staff were amazing, very courteous, can't fault them at all. Room service was great and always felt nice to go back to a clean room at the end of the day.

First time at this hotel and wont be our last. From checking in to checking out, the staff were amazing. Friendly and helpful. We were in 'El Club' rooms, which we loved as really quiet. No sunbed issues, and food was good AI food ( always something). The location as fantastic as well. Shops and resteraunts 5 mins away, and a beautiful beach outside the back of the hotel.

Great hotel right on the ocean walkway. Absolutely stunning location, lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, fish from the grill. Clean rooms and nice staff. The only downside was a lot of premade food (should not be in 4*) and absolutely horrible selection on the sweet bar. Everything was just sweet without any taste, but I substituted it with local fruits so all good after all.
