Just got back from a week all inclusive after having not been to the hotel for 19 years. The reception area is amazing, lots of places to sit. The bar was good, although sometimes quite a queue.
The pools are clean and plenty of sun loungers. We didn’t get hotel towels as that needed a cash deposit, they wouldn’t accept a card. The safe in the room required a daily charge but not expensive.
The reception staff were on the whole pleasant, although some were a tad blunt at times.
Now for the downside…The room was shabby. Mismatched furniture (one of us had a white bedside table and the other side of the bed had a wooden one, in the same room), paint flaking off the wardrobe, dirty stains on the floor that weren’t cleaned til the last day. There was a fair few ants in the room. My son accidentally dropped a glass on the floor and we tidied it up but we’re still finding shards of glass days later even after the cleaners had been in.
But that said the pools were clean, the food was great, the hotel is in a good quiet location. We used the free bus a couple of times. The hotel spa was great.

Last night of our fantastic holiday. We are a family of 4, 3 adults and an 8 year old. First time holidaying in the Costa Calero, First time in lanzarote.
Staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. Always on hand for anything you need.
Food is as expected for an all inclusive, yummy, plentiful, fresh and the pack lunch was great. Always something different and caters for everyone.
Rooms are comfortable and clean, if I was being hyper critical, just a few dents here and there but nothing to bother us.
Hotel facilities are great, swimming pools are good, plenty of sunbed. (early bird catches the worms). Gyms good, could do with a few more heaver weights, (thats a me problem).
Area was perfect for us, quite, out the hustle and bustle, you could get a bus to the major town if wanted. There is 2 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk. Some cracking walking and running routes as well. There is a couple of bars abd restaurants at the marina but not much else.
We would 100% stay again, thank you for a great holiday

We returned last Tuesday from the Calero Talaso and Spa. What a fantastic hotel. The staff were all polite professional and work so hard. The rooms are spacious and well decorated and cleaned everyday if you require that. The 3 pools are all a nice size and there are plenty of sun loungers. The food is great and varied. We used the spa and had a 2 hour slot - amazing.
After day one we upgraded to all inclusive to enhance our great experience.
The hotel is in a nice location with a very short walk to the Marina.

Lovely hotel. Very clean. Great pool areas. Never struggled for a sun lounger even after being out in the mornings. Paid for a garden room, to have own sun loungers and privacy, but our room 007 had no sun till 4pm due to palm trees. Food was good quality but the mix was a little random, but in an all inclusive buffet it isn't going to be easy to cater for everyone without options. Plenty fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, salads available. Only used the pool restaurant once so can't comment really. Bar service could be slow but we went out every day & evening so didn't cause us issues. Staff were all very friendly. There were plenty activities and the show bar seemed popular, but again we didn't use it. Hotel is in a great position with just a short walk to the marina which is stunning and has a number of bars and restaurants for anyone wanting to get out. There is a hill up from the marina but this wasn't a problem.
We would return.

As soon as I walked through the door I knew it was going to be a great hotel .. what can I say ? The rooms. Amazing, cleaned each day , towels replaced if need be . Balconies on all with all rooms recieving beautiful views . Food , omg the choices . I'm fussy , I don't eat fish but plenty of choice. For breakfast , lunch and dinner . The service ? Brilliant . Nothing is too much trouble. The place is luxurious, the shuttle bus to the busy porta carman cost nothing , runs 3 times a day . I'm a single lady. Always felt safe and looked after . Good for kids , families, couples
Amazing experience .. will come back again , and again
