Just checked in and immediately regretted booking this place. A strange smell of mould hit my nose as soon as I opened the door. The room is old and amenities are poorly maintained. The air conditioners are old not powerful enough. The room is small — definitely not what I expected from the photos. The pools are small and overcrowded. The underground parking is bizarre. My first time in Tenerife so I thought maybe it’d be nice to try to stay in different places but moving from Kora Living to this is like descending from heaven to…well…not hell but the gap is simply too huge considering we are paying more or less the same.
Update July 5: we went to breakfast this morning and oh my God it was the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had in my life. The food was disastrous. I always finish my food as I hate leftovers, but this time I cannot finish the scrambled eggs— they were so awful that I had no idea what I was eating. The hash brown was burnt and chewy. I made a cappuccino at the coffee machine and it tasted like powdered chocolate. My friend’s black coffee was worse, it tasted like water from an astray. The place was overcrowded and messy a lot of plates and dishes were piled up on tables. The floor was raided by leftover food. The staffers were sulking—couldn’t blame them really. The place was seriously understaffed. There were not enough people to serve and clean up.
I looked around and it dawned on me that this was not a place for me. This is the kind of place for families with children or elderly that want to spend some time together on a budget. I should not be competing with them.
Update July 5 evening: The infinity pool of Sky Margaritas bar was the best thing about this place. Took lots of photos and had a great time. We only had pineapple juice though. I don’t think you need to be hotel guest to come to this bar. I updated my review from 1 star to 2 stars after this.

Stayed here recently with my mother for a week and had a really good time. The hotel represents good value with friendly and accommodating staff happy to help with queries.
We had opted for half board including an impressive breakfast with plenty of options to satisfy most tastes with plenty of meat and fruit, cereal and bread options. There was a so called "live" cooking station with one chef cooking omelettes, eggs to order etc. Didn't exactly understand the reason for this as it was a infuriatingly slow process and defeated the whole idea as nobody wants to queue forever for a simple fried egg. Orange juice was a little cheap and tasteless, but this was the only negative part of the breakfast.
Rooms were very big, spacious with minimal artwork on the all white walls. The rooms are functional, but not exactly cosy. Plenty of empty cupboards with no extra blankets or pillows which have to be requested if required.
Pool is a good size and never felt overcrowded with a small cafeteria which is surprisingly good value for money.
I really liked this hotel and I think a lot of guests felt the same. Can't fault it for the price and easy access to bars and beach.
I would stay here again.🙂

Lovely resort. 24hr reception, a WhatsApp number to report any issues etc and best off all, no sunbed wars at the crack of dawn and no cockroaches!
The apartment was clean, spacious and fitted with two AC units that were a lifesaver.
It's located just off the main strip at the beachfront where there are some very nice restaurants.
The highlight for me was how quiet it was! No paper thin walls, no noise from outside.
We also had breakfast included and this was a perfect start to each day. A huge variety of both Spanish and English breakfast items, breads, cold meats and cheeses, a chef at the grill station each morning making you omelettes, crepes and fried eggs etc.
We really enjoyed our stay and would 100% return again.

A Disappointing Stay – Poor Service, Hygiene Issues, and Disrespectful Staff
My husband and I had one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever encountered during our stay here. There were serious issues with both basic hygiene and customer service. Despite booking an all-inclusive package, we faced the following problems:
1. No Toilet Seat
There was no toilet seat when we arrived. Due to the unfriendly attitude of the staff, we didn’t feel comfortable reporting it. This is a basic hygiene issue.
2. No Water in the Room
No water or basic amenities were provided. When we asked at reception, the staff didn’t make eye contact and said, “There isn’t any.” We were told to get it from the restaurant — a 5-minute walk. Completely unacceptable.
3. Cold and Indifferent Check-In
No greeting or orientation. We were handed a piece of paper with the room number and left to figure things out.
4. Aggressive Response to a Question
We confused the towel deposit with the parking fee and asked about it. The receptionist suddenly shouted at us:
“Do you think I’m after your €20?!”
When we asked to speak with someone else, she yelled “Go away!” We apologized just to avoid escalation, but got no apology in return. Shocking and humiliating.
5. Cockroaches in the Room
We saw cockroaches from day one. Because of earlier incidents, we didn’t feel safe reporting it.
6. No “Do Not Disturb” Sign
Someone entered our room without knocking while we were sleeping. We said we didn’t want cleaning.
7. No Basic Information
We were only given meal times. No info on pool, water access, or facilities. We had to learn everything ourselves.
8. No Air Conditioning
No AC, just a weak fan. The heat was unbearable and made sleeping difficult.
9. Dirty Bathroom
The grout was yellow and stained. It felt neglected and dirty.
10. Cleaning Tools in the Room
A mop and bucket were left inside our room, making it feel unprofessional and careless.

Final Night: Break-In and Theft
On our last night, our room was broken into while we were asleep. Our belongings — including ID cards, bank cards, and cash — were stolen. Terrified, we rushed to reception.
The same receptionist (Sara)who had yelled at us earlier refused to help. She didn’t express concern, avoided eye contact, and said:
“Go to the police. I can’t help you.”
No support, no empathy — we were completely abandoned in a traumatic situation.

This stay was a complete failure — from hygiene and comfort to basic safety and decency. We absolutely do not recommend this hotel and urge management to address these serious issues.

I stayed in Los Olivos for a weekend of bike riding. The rooms were what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel—comfortable and functional. However, it was the exceptional staff that truly elevated the experience.
The gentleman at reception went above and beyond to assist us, even helping to arrange secure overnight parking for our bike. After checking out, I realized at the airport that I had left my AirPods behind. I contacted the hotel the next day, and Corine and Louisa from the booking department quickly located them and arranged for them to be couriered to the UK.
Their professionalism and kindness turned a simple stay into a memorable one. Highly appreciated!
