We had a wonderful stay at Los Olivos Beach Resort. The location is perfect, just steps from the beach, with great facilities and a relaxing atmosphere. The apartments were spacious, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming.
A special thank you to Carlos at reception. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was professional, kind, and always happy to help with any questions or requests. His excellent customer service made us feel truly valued and is a real credit to the hotel.
We would definitely recommend Los Olivos Beach Resort to anyone visiting Tenerife and look forward to returning!

Holiday was B&B (can do HB & AI but this is based on B&B)
Room - one bed apartment, spacious and clean on arrival with fully operational kitchen (including microwave, oven & hob)
Ceiling fan only so rooms extremely warm, can rent air con unit.
Beds changed every 4 days, towels every other. Had an issue week one as cleaning staff must have forgotten we were there but reception sorted out complaint and no issues week 2.
Service - breakfast was located in sister hotel, same with the gym but both are joined together. Breakfast choice 10/10, fresh fruit, hot, cold, cereals, yoghurts, bakery, fresh omelette cooked on order, tea, coffee and fresh juice.
*HB and AI can only get their food from here and pool side bar in the Olivos is not part of the package.
Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
Olivos has a roof top bar which is also a restaurant, and has glass bottom pools overlooking the sea. Costs for the beds but can use the pool if buying drinks or food. Visited several times for drinks and recommended.
Plenty of sun beds, large pool with pool side bar that serves food as well as drink and a kids pool down one level from main pool where poolside toilets are located.
Leaving - hotel does have a courtesy room where you can get showered. Towels were provided but first come basis and not booked.
Location - ideal location. Situated from reception only 50m from main street of the resort for the bars and restaurants. Little cheat, depending on which way you're wanting to go, walking through the sister hotel saves on some time getting into main resort.
Would be more than happy to stay here again on same basis - HB possibly but not as an AI option.

When we arrived, we initially thought we had hit the jackpot with such a beautiful hotel. However, upon being directed to our first room, we encountered several notable issues. An unpleasant smell lingered from the bathroom, a cockroach was found in the room, and the shelf on the fridge door was broken.
The bathroom seemed to be adapted for disabled guests, which isn't an issue in itself; however, it was poorly designed and maintained. There was no shower door, causing water to leak, a grab rail was positioned beside the toilet, and there was no toilet roll holder, so we had to place the toilet roll on the floor or in the bin. The sink was quite low, leading to discomfort due to my back problems. While providing accessible accommodations is essential, disabled guests deserve rooms that meet the same standards as those offered to other guests, without being tired or poorly maintained.
Because of these issues, we requested a move to another room. This process took 24 hours since no other rooms were available immediately. When I visited the reception the next morning, I was surprised to find that the female staff there didn't seem aware of our concerns and repeated that there were no rooms available due to many guests arriving that day. I asked her to contact the manager and left, hoping we'd be moved to a new room. When we came back, we were told we’d been upgraded to a junior suite; however, it was actually a studio, whereas our previous accommodation was a one-bedroom apartment.
In our second room, we noticed several issues:
- The sink was partially detached and appeared to be coming away from the wall.
- The toilet was leaking.
- The beds were separate, which wasn’t our preference; a simple mattress topper could have easily resolved this.
- There were no coat hooks.
- No clothes hangers.
- No tea towel.
- No washcloths.
- Only one cooking pan was available.
- We lacked access to Netflix, which was available in our previous room.
- We also didn't have Prime Video, which was accessible before.
- Sunbeds were unavailable, unlike at our previous place.
- The television channels were limited to Spanish only.
- No table on the balcony
- Blood on the blanket
Having to change rooms because of cleanliness and maintenance issues, and then being moved to another room with multiple problems, really affected our holiday experience.
I raised these points with four different members of the reception staff. The toilet was fixed, and we received an extra pan, a tea towel, washcloths, and some coat hangers, but little else. As it was the weekend, I waited until Monday, June 22nd, to speak with the hotel manager. Unfortunately, the only solution offered was to move us again, causing further disruption without truly addressing the core problems.
Interestingly, the front desk staff mentioned that sunbeds are not provided, with Miguel, the reception supervisor, stating, "If I give one to you, I have to give one to everyone," despite the issues we faced and the fact that there is no apparent health and safety risk in providing them.
Currently, I don’t have a Smart TV, and I find myself sitting alone, reflecting on these concerns. Additionally, the bathroom sink remains unstable.
That said, I want to acknowledge two male receptionists who tried to help outside of regular hours, even personally bringing a patio table to my room.
I have written to the hotel, but I am still waitingfor a reply

We were suprised by the beauty of this resort. Very beautifully set up like a small stylish village, beautiful plants and special palm trees everywhere, the Los Olivos pool seems to be heated, we went swimming every day!
The appartments are very royal in size, a small entry hall, bathroom, bedroom, living and kitchen, balcony. The biggest surprise to us was the large roof terrace with a view over de village and the sea. Ideal for watching romatic sunsets.
Also free airconditioning in every room!
We had free access to the gym, used their underground car park for our rental car (for a small daily fee of course). That was a comfortable place for it. Never having to worry where to park.
Only negative point is the watersupply, yes, the shower water was nice and hot, but the waterpressure in our apt. was extremely low. Sometimes just dripping after flushing the toilet.
All in all, a very positive advise for any future guests to stay here in the future.
