This is a very accessible resort for disabled people. I have mobility issues and found it perfect with very few steps anywhere.
We were on all inclusive in Premium Suites. We weren't particularly looking forward to this holiday and ended up having a great time.
Reception is lovely with friendly staff.
Room 692 was spotless with very comfortable beds. Espresso coffee pods were replaced daily after we informed reception that we wanted them.
We sunbathed at the adult pool and always got beds no problem. Pool towels could be replaced daily at the spa.
The spa was free for us to use any time and we really enjoyed it on a cloudy afternoon.
We had breakfast in the main restaurant every day. I enjoyed the muesli, fruit & yogurt, while my husband enjoyed the piping hot eggs, sausages, beans etc.
We had dinner in the upstairs La Miranda? Restaurant. We found plenty to eat and were happy with the fish, vegatables and specials. Desserts were great too. Its all a matter of taste and depends what you like.
Daytimes at the adult pool were lovely and relaxed. The food and drinks at Los Jameos by the pool were excellent. Everything served fresh and hot. Very quick entertaining service from the wonderful Adrianna. She made us laugh every day. The drinks and service from Chuss could not be faulted. What a duo!
If you want to find fault you probably will. If you want a relaxing holiday in the sun then I'd definitely come back here. We spoke to many other British people who felt the same way as us.

Just back from an amazing week at the Elba. What a fantastic hotel, I booked to stay in the adults only part but you have access to the entire complex.
I literally cannot fault anything about the hotel-the rooms were like small apartments complete with your own private decking area. Clean and modern with all the things you’d want for your stay.
The hotel was spotless and the staff are amazing no matter what their jobs were they are an excellent team who go out of their way to make sure guests stays are enjoyable. The food was very good especially in the adult only restaurant where the choice was excellent and very tasty.
Loads of space around the pool area and never an issue finding a good spot.
Only a 10-15 walk into town where the views are amazing and there is some fantastic bars/restaurants.
All in all a great holiday so much so I’m going to re-book for next year.
On a side note I just wanted to say for anyone with kids this is a brilliant hotel-I wish I knew about this hotel for when mine was younger. The entertainment team were the best I’ve saw in any hotel, hard working and friendly and making the kids trips as fun as possible, again everyone of them brilliant but especially I think her name was lulu……she brought so much energy and fun to the poolside area, made it a great experience. She (and the rest of the team) are a real credit to the hotel, keep up the good work and see you next year!

Mike was amazing on the music, soo friendly and approachable & played any song requested! He clearly works very hard and is so enthusiastic. Such a good night of singing and dancing 🕺💃

We stayed at the Elba Suites in Lanzarote, which is rated as a four-star hotel, but in my opinion, it’s closer to a solid three.
The grounds, pools, and rooms are lovely — spacious, clean, and really well-maintained. The hotel itself looks great from the outside, and the location is excellent for exploring the area.
However, the hotel feels quite short-staffed. The staff do try their best, but it’s clear they’re stretched thin, and unfortunately, some of the restaurant staff come across as unfriendly. The food was okay, but for a four-star hotel, I expected more variety and better quality. I also noticed chipped plates and cups in the restaurant, and cracked plastic cups being used around the pool — small details, but they really take away from the overall experience.
One major frustration was the late checkout option. They advertise it, but I’m not convinced anyone actually gets it. You’re told to ask at 6pm the night before leaving, only to be told your room is already allocated. It feels like a pointless offer that just leads to disappointment.
Overall, we had a good holiday — the weather, the setting, and the relaxation made it enjoyable — but I wouldn’t stay in an Elba hotel again. For the price, it’s just not up to four-star standards, and I think the hotel could do a lot more to meet the expectations it sets.

A good hotel, with adults only section, although you have to walk through the non adults only 😆 to get back to reception and breakfast /dinner restaurants.
Breakfast food has a good selection, but the cooked items need some love, bacon swimming in a vat of fat, not really to my liking.
Staff very helpful.
Near impossible to get a late checkout, as you can only ask 6pm the night before
