Currently here on holiday. We book premium plus. Adults only and very glad we did. Our check in was easy and very welcoming, Kendra gave us all the info and was lovely. Our suite was more than adequate with large double bed, usual wardrobe and free safe (premium + perk) TV in bedroom and lounge, fridge with water soft drinks and beer (replenished daily) Nespresso machine and kettle with tea and coffee too. Good shower with plenty of hot water, shaving mirror and hair dryer. Aircon, Fan and heater in suite. Patio with furniture and sunbeds. We visited in January and had no problem getting sunbeds or waiting any length of time for anything. There is a daily shuttle bus service to the beach/town or an easy 15 minutes walk downhill. Entertainment is average at best, some very poor singers in adults area and various other shows in family area. Staff are lovely and food is good enough. There is a spa with hydrotherapy pool. Sauna, steam room etc. premium plus use it free as often as you please.

Mixed bag. Planned to spend some relaxing time here while also doing some focus work (working digitally remotely).
The internet was not working when I arrived. Wifi had around 15% signal strength in the room. After complaining, they installed what I assume was a better wifi router. Speed still average but at least the internet worked, like it should have when arriving.
However, the next 2 days they decided to chainsaw down trees right next to my suite for several hours per day. Nice one. Really helpful.
There is no on-site work space, like a business lounge. Only the bar area - when the bar is closed.
Room decent enough, pool area nice and breakfast options are good - however would not stay if you need to get some work done.

Very disappointing stay – nowhere near 4-star standards
We paid nearly £6,000 for a 7-night stay at Elba Royal Village, booking a Premium Family Suite. For this price, we reasonably expected high-quality accommodation, food, and facilities. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely poor from start to finish.
The “premium” suite was nothing more than two very basic rooms, comparable to a 2–3 star hotel at best. Facilities were minimal, the beds were single beds pushed together, resembling hospital beds, and the tea/coffee offering consisted of two sachets of cheap instant coffee, which is unacceptable at this price point.
The food quality was diabolical. On one occasion, I was served raw pork, which is a serious health concern. Meat was frequently chewy and clearly low quality. The New Year’s Eve buffet cake was then served repeatedly over the next three days, strongly suggesting food is regularly repurposed. Despite staying for a week, our group could only secure one restaurant booking, which was incredibly frustrating.
The spa is advertised as a facility, yet it comes at an additional cost, which is completely unreasonable given the amount we paid. Worse still, it was poorly maintained, smelled of urine, and both the sauna and steam room were cold. The gym was equally disappointing — extremely basic, limited equipment, and all of it looked and felt worn out.
We also encountered several cockroaches, both large and small, which is unacceptable under any circumstances.
Reception staff were often unhelpful and dismissive. When we asked for assistance booking a taxi, we were told to call ourselves. When we explained we do not speak Spanish and needed help, we were refused and told to “respect them in their country,” which was both rude and unprofessional.
Overall, this hotel is nowhere near a 4-star standard. Poor food, tired and unclean facilities, misleading advertising, and unhelpful staff make this a 2-star hotel at best. We deeply regret spending such a significant amount of money on what was a very disappointing and frustrating holiday.

Just back from an amazing week at the Elba. What a fantastic hotel, I booked to stay in the adults only part but you have access to the entire complex.
I literally cannot fault anything about the hotel-the rooms were like small apartments complete with your own private decking area. Clean and modern with all the things you’d want for your stay.
The hotel was spotless and the staff are amazing no matter what their jobs were they are an excellent team who go out of their way to make sure guests stays are enjoyable. The food was very good especially in the adult only restaurant where the choice was excellent and very tasty.
Loads of space around the pool area and never an issue finding a good spot.
Only a 10-15 walk into town where the views are amazing and there is some fantastic bars/restaurants.
All in all a great holiday so much so I’m going to re-book for next year.
On a side note I just wanted to say for anyone with kids this is a brilliant hotel-I wish I knew about this hotel for when mine was younger. The entertainment team were the best I’ve saw in any hotel, hard working and friendly and making the kids trips as fun as possible, again everyone of them brilliant but especially I think her name was lulu……she brought so much energy and fun to the poolside area, made it a great experience. She (and the rest of the team) are a real credit to the hotel, keep up the good work and see you next year!

All staff were extremely helpful from the start to finish of our holidays. Kendra on the reception went above and beyond to help me organise my son’s 21st birthday, which was very much appreciated (thank you)! Mike the entertainer was amazing, he puts 100% into his role and is a great addition to the team.
