First impressions of the hotel are lovely. The reception area is nice and the hotel surroundings.
Apart from the above, that’s about it for positives.
We stayed half board and ate in the hotel once for our evening meal. That in itself was awful. Poor choice of foods, food cold, tables left for a good hour before being cleaned, replenishment of foods were very slow and the dining room itself was not clean.
Our room was very dated. Balcony door was a struggle to open, wallpaper peeled off the walls and stains all over the walls. We complained to reception who said we could look at another room. That room too was in the same state as the one we were in so we decided to stick with what had. The response from reception was, “you booked a standard room”. That is irrelevant as no room should be like that.
For 3 mornings my little boy woke to ants all over his pillow and even on him. After reception telling me that the room will deep cleaned, it turned out his pillow underneath had dried chewing gum stuck to it. As soon as that was removed, the ants never came back.
The reception did offer to change our room after the 3rd time but we were halfway through our holiday and unpacked. If the bedding had of been changed initially, it wouldn’t have come to that. There were no other ants in our room apart from my little one’s bed.
I requested the day before departure if we could keep our room (now it was clean)to get showered for our late departure (5.30pm) and was told no as the hotel was full.
On check out at 12, I requested a printed copy of my room bill. At the bottom, there was a 10 euro charge for a late check out. I questioned this and was told they were allowing me to keep my room even though, I was told no the day before. I asked what time we could have the room until and was told 1pm (1 hour extra). If I had not have seen a printed a bill, I would have been charged for something I did not have.
The staff look extremely unhappy to be working there. Some are quite rude and arrogant especially the reception staff.
I’ve stayed in many 4 star hotels and even 3 star hotels which have been far better than this. I would not recommend staying here.

We were extremely satisfied with everything!I especially want to highlight the animation team, who were absolutely fantastic! Their creativity and enthusiasm truly impressed us. Every activity was conducted in an incredibly entertaining and professional manner, ensuring that guests of all ages enjoyed the show.
The team members were incredibly friendly and helpful, which further contributed to the success of the event. The animators brought the event to life with their colorful characters and interactive games, leaving everyone with smiles on their faces as they departed. A big thank you to them for the unforgettable experiences! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for something special!

A lovely hotel with lots of loungers available and room in the pools. Heated pool was too much for me in the heat but kids loved it! Other pools great to cool down. No inflatables allowed in the pools unless required as swim aids. On occasions the menu wasn’t to our liking but there are plenty of nearby food places. Great location to beach and harbour. Very clean. Staff were very friendly.

Great hotel, perfect location!
Lovely outdoor pool (freshwater) and the heated indoor pool was really nice!
Had 2 x superior rooms for a family of 5 with a 16, 14 and 10 yr old.
On level 1, with a pool view.
Rooms are fine, little bit worn in places but it’s just a base.
Only niggle was the bathroom door was frosted glass without a lock.
Air con works, just make sure you properly shut the patio door!
We stayed B&B and the food was fine at breakfast.
You get a wrist band on arrival, which you scan if you want drinks etc. at any of the bars and settle the bill on departure.
The hotel is in a perfect location, out the back gate and 2 minutes you’re in the resort. We were out every lunch and dinner and we all loved it!
Sun loungers - good to see if people put their towels down before 10am and disappeared, they’ll be removed!
Although, it’s still a shame that I was up and on a sun lounger for 8am, to make sure we got an umbrella. Some people were already at the pool side by 7am!
All the staff from reception, to waiting staff to the animation team and cleaners all work really hard.
Paola is amazing! The animation team are great!
Would we come back - yes!

I wanted to highlight here the hotel's process for food allergies which always impresses us (this was our fourth visit).
On arrival you state at reception that a member of your party has food allergies, and they will give you a card that you can show at the restaurant with the Spanish names of all the allergens.
When you come to the buffet for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, get yourself a table and then head to the kitchen entrance and ask a passing staff member if you can speak to a chef about allergies. A chef will come out and give you a quick tour of the entire buffet, highlighting foods that you can and can't eat according to your card. If there is nothing suitable in the buffet, or you would prefer to avoid cross-contamination risk, they are also willing to prepare dishes for you in the kitchen and bring them out to your table.
Every chef we spoke to was very kind, knowledgeable and thorough. My 12-year-old daughter (allergies to milk, peanuts, tree nuts and sesame - not an easy customer!) ate safely there at breakfast and dinner for our week-long stay, and she had special allergy-friendly pancakes made every day, which she loved. She couldn't have many desserts at the dinner buffet, but every so often there was jelly, and one night the chef surprised us with a tailor made fruit and soya cream concoction which delighted her.
Going on holiday with serious food allergies is always a risk, especially when buffets are involved, but we feel safe in the hands of the hotel staff and would recommend it to any families in a similar situation.
