We spent a week at this hotel in January and were very satisfied. The services are of a high standard, with very good food and drinks. There were two heated pools at the hotel: the main pool was pleasantly warm, and the adults-only pool was also heated, although slightly cooler. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we were especially well taken care of by Emad at the Sunset Pool, who was very kind and brought us drinks directly to our sun loungers. Many thanks for the excellent care! The hotel also offers free evening transfers to the Old Market and Naama Bay, making it easy to go on a trip. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Big thank you to Emad and Samy at the Sunset Pool Bar who provided us with the most wonderful holiday experience in November. Emad looked after us from the first morning coffee to the many mocktails throughout the day. Emad soon got to know what drinks we liked and looked after us incredibly well. Samy kept the pool area so clean and tidy and made sure that we were comfortable whilst relaxing on the loungers. We look forward to seeing Emad and Samy again next March. Their kindness and hospitality were outstanding and made our holiday special.Peter and Alison From London UK.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Best Hotel in Egypt! Sierra Sharm El Sheikh has truly become our second home😌❤️🏡
We’ve visited many places, including Hurghada, but no hotel even comes close to Sierra Sharm El Sheikh. We honestly don’t want to try any other places to visit, as nothing in Egypt can beat this hotel for us! 💙🌴✨
We’ve stayed here for three years in a row, and somehow every time it's getting better and better. The food quality is simply amazing! Always fresh, tasty, never salty, and quality food, and with so much different variety every day. Massive respect to the kitchen team, you all do an incredible job! BRAVO!!! 👏
But the biggest reason we return again and again is the amazing staff. Truly friendly, caring, and professional. Over these years, they’ve become like family to us. It’s no surprise the team stays here for so long. The atmosphere, the warm smiles, the positivity.. Everything is exceptional and feels so genuine 🌟👌🏻
For us, Sierra Sharm El Sheikh is not just a hotel… it’s our home away from home 😌🏡❤️
We already can’t wait to come back next year and counting the days on calendar 🗓️
A huge THANK YOU to all the staff and everyone who works here for giving us such a wonderful, comfortable, and heart-warming stay every single time. You are all amazing, beautiful people, and we appreciate you more than words can say ❣️
With love,
Dmitrij and Ina 🥰❤️

Very nice clean hotel, amazingly helpful very friendly staff, set 10 minutes walk from beach or 5 minutes shuttle (every 20 minutes) but situated right on Soho square so makes up for it. 8 pools including a saltwater pool and an indoor pool. Indoor only one I found heated, whatever people say, although the salt water pool and the small one near it are absolutely freezing. Food very good and plenty of variety. Special mention to Peter in the lobby bar, Mina at the adults only pool bar and Samy the lifeguard at the adults only pool but to be honest, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Rooms could do with updating a bit, clean and very comfortable but some loose tiles on the floor and little details let them down. Doesn't matter as you'll be out all day anyway......

There are a lot of good things about the hotel. I think it's worth noting the service, the beach and the pools are all lovely. You cannot deny that the team works extremely hard and make an effort to remember your name and your drinks order. So if you're going all inclusive then you will be very much taking care of...However, and it's a big HOWEVER, we've been to this hotel I think two or three times now and every single time we have been sick.
Not just a couple of days of being ill, not hangover ill. I'm talking stomach pains and diahorrea. And it's not just me. We spoke to multiple people who also have the same issue. So did my partner. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. And I think that this is just very common in Egypt. While the hotel claims that they wash all of their vegetables in bottled water, and I have no reason to doubt that they do, you must remember that a lot of the food comes from regions that use more freely avialable fertilizer for their agriculture. We've have traveled to other parts of Africa including Morocco and not had this issue. This seems to be something that's quite common in Egypt. We heard people from even the seven star Rixos having issues.
And it happens within hours of eating the food there. We've found it takes weeks and sometimes even a couple of months for our stomachs to settle again. Maybe there's a silver lining here, because with being on the toilet so much you can undoubtably have a little bit more to eat. HAHA
Here's what really annoyed me though. I ate at the Andiamo bar. It's serves pizzas and salads during the afternoon. I ordered a Greek salad and I noticed that the Olives tasted really off. I let the team know and typical fashion the head chef comes over and starts telling me that everything is fine and it's all fresh. But everything can't be exactly all fresh all of the Time. And taste and senses are a big giveaway when food's off. But there is nothing more frustrating than having several men stand around the table telling you that you are wrong when you're just trying to eat.
But it gets worse. My tummy was hurting after the food and about 30 to 45 minutes later I had to make a dash for my room because I then proceeded to chuck up. Not once, but several times thoughout the day. Coupled with the bad tummy, it was not good.
Later on in the day we were approached by another manager and I explained the situation to him. He said that he would look into it and I at the time felt reassured. BUT, but I then sent him a follow up email providing details about what happened so that there was a record of it because it was quite serious. The food tasted off and then I was really sick. That's something that needs are written record. But the response that I got was honestly so shocking that it's completely put me off ever going to Egypt again. Like
The manager then proceeds to tell me via email that there are 280 different types of olive in the world and that I must have just had a bad reaction to the one that they served. Bearing in mind that I had eaten other olives and have eaten olives my entire life and never ever had an issue.
I feel like the customer service is great until there is some kind of problem that might put the hotel into disrepute. I have observed this in other hotels in Egypt as well. If you ever get a bad stomach they will tell you, no one else in the hotel is ill and it must just be you and maybe it was because you had too much to drink.
So if you fancy basically being gaslight by the management staff and told that you are the only one with a problem then great and if you can handle having about stomach that's awesome. But I think you very much get what you pay for on these holidays. Egypt is beautiful and you can do a lot here for not very much. But you are taking a gamble with the food and the drink so just bear that in mind.
Also the cats that live there sit all over the furniture and the rep's desk, so if you, like me, have allergies, dont expect to be able to sit inside.
