I had a wonderful experience at Aurora Oriental. From the moment we arrived, the reception team was welcoming, professional, and very helpful. The housekeeping staff kept the rooms spotless every day, and their attention to detail was truly impressive.
The food was delicious with great variety, and the whole hotel staff was friendly, supportive, and always smiling.
A very special thank you to Nawal from the Kids Club — she’s amazing with the children, full of positive energy, and truly dedicated to making them happy. Yesterday there was a birthday celebration at the Kids Club, and it was beautifully organized. There were many happy kids enjoying the activities, and everything was arranged perfectly and with such lovely handmade details. It really showed how much effort and love was put into it.

Everything in the standards of an international resort in Sharm.
A super thumbs up to the cleaning staff: rooms and also public toilets are always clean, even at the beach bar.
Food is alright, nothing to write home about. Not many healthy options but definitely accessible to everyone because of the vast choice given.
Great for kids, and it also have a pool dedicated to adults.
Beach is well handled: there a bus that takes you there from the reception, or you can walk there; the guys at the beach are always available to help and the servers are super friendly and kind. I would suggest the place if you need a relaxing spot to spend your holidays :)

We are currently staying at this hotel and we are very happy! The staff is truly wonderful – always helpful, collecting cups and bringing drinks both in the restaurant and by the pools. There are various activities during the day and entertainment in the evenings, so it’s never boring.
We would especially like to highlight the kids’ club and its employee Nawal Ibrahim – she is simply amazing! She definitely deserves 10+ points. She gives a lot of attention to the children, organizes fun activities, and also leads the evening mini disco for kids. Our little one absolutely adores her – as soon as she sees Nawal, she runs straight to her!
The hotel is very peaceful, and there are always free spots both by the pools and on the beach. The beach is sandy and beautiful. We truly recommend this place for families as well as anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. 🌞

Hello, fellows.
My wife and I plus our grown up daughter have had two weeks holiday at this hotel. For your profiling: we are in our 50s, our daughter just over 20 years old and our goal was to have a quiet, nice beach holiday. Main requirements: good beach, good food with acceptable variety and nice room to sleep at.
So, about hotel. It is 5*, I think it formally ticks all boxes for 5* hotel for having stuff such as laundry service, gym, rooms service etc. So things we liked: good location of the hotel - not too far from the airport (~10 drive), nice garden and access to its own private beach. It has two pools with bars but we didn't use them - preferred to use the beach.
The main hall, restaurants, bars in the main building looked fine, not problems there. Didn't look like posh place, however, very pleasant.
The beach clean and not very packed. The parasols on the beach placed in such way that guests would have some privacy - a few good meters between each other. Not like other beaches where people were almost touching each others.
We were spending most of our time there. I was really happy to snorkel! The hotel jetty (pier) was not long enough to reach edge of the reef to see a proper marine life, but there were plenty of small reefs around and I spent first week just swimming around in my mask and fins looking for interesting places. You can swim into open sea from the beach any time, but I would recommend after lunch time when almost no motor boats are around. I managed to swim to the pier of Rixos hotel. You would not be allowed to use it, but no one prohibits you swimming there and then getting out of water and walking to the beach. I preferred to swim there and back. 700m one way, no problems there. But you would be rewarded by seeing a beautiful underwater life! There were some other places around in vicinity.
Also we went to see a few entertainment events in the hotel. Some of them were really good and you could see that the dancers were professionals. Some of them were more on armature level, still was fun.
So in short: this 5* hotel offers a good value for money if you want to maximise your stay in Sharm. It is definitely not the poshest hotel, however, good enough to enjoy your stay there if you can tolerate some things I mentioned before. I didn't want to pay double to stay in posher hotel and then realise that I didn't use most of its facilities and, as I said, we used our hotel room just to sleep.
Thank you,
Rustam.
