Staff in Aurora are excellent especially reception staff. We asked for connecting rooms with specific bed set up and they gave us exactly what we asked for. Food was excellent for all inclusive and rotated everyday. I had excellent 2 weeks in Aurora. The only issue I had was pool towels run out and you have to wait for fresh ones to arrive. The food by the pool and beach are limited selection and they are available only specific times. The hotel drying cleaning and other services are also very reasonably priced. An excellent hotel overall and would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at The Aurora Oriental Hotel and would highly recommend it. From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were phenomenal – friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they genuinely went above and beyond to make our holiday special.
While tipping is certainly not necessary, we found that even a small tip was greatly appreciated and helped build wonderful relationships with the staff throughout our stay.
A special mention must go to Thomas at the quiet pool. He absolutely made our week with his exceptional service, warm personality, and constant attention to detail. He is a real credit to the hotel and played a huge part in making our holiday so memorable.
The food was also excellent, with plenty of choice at every meal. There was something for everyone, and the quality was consistently very good throughout our stay.
Overall, an outstanding experience. We left with wonderful memories and would not hesitate to return.

Lovely hotel, with great service from really friendly staff. Food fabulous, possibly the best we've eaten in the many hotels we have stayed in across Egypt. Fun animation staff, special mention to Marian.

The hotel looks nice when you walk in. Staff are friendly and work hard to make your holiday. Sammy at the pool couldn't do enough. The lad serving drinks around the pool never stops running around. It's so relaxing. BUT the rooms leave alot to be desired . The bathrooms are disgusting. More silicone that tiles and mould. We asked for a different room as soon as we got there. But the secound room was exactly the same. Tiles on balcony where broken and stuck up with sharp edges. I do have photos of all of it to make a complaint. Not a five star by any means. 4 star at best. Food was bad had pasta not cooked properly. Lasagne I spat it out was disgusting. Onion rings not cooked. Pizza had no taste. Scrambled eggs in the morning tasted of salt.

Our second stay at the Aurora resort, we went last year too.
The rooms are large and spacious, but some of the fixtures are a little worn now, hence not giving it 5 stars. But everything was always spotlessly clean.
Our room was looked after by Gabr who was fantastic, even leaving me a birthday cake suprise after seeing some birthday cards left in my room after opening them in the morning.
The food always had plenty of choice and the staff were always on hand and helpful, one of the chefs even carried my wives omelet to her table because she was using crutches and I was held up waiting for food to be made elsewhere, sorry but we don’t know his name, the tall chef overseeing the service behind the counter, but thank you.
The beach is a nice walk away through the hotel gardens and has a shallow lagoon that goes out a long way.
For those wishing to snorkel, don’t be disappointed by the lack of reef. There are 2 piers at either side of the resort beach, on the left go out on the far side of this pier out to the end, you will find plenty to see there, or go out further on this side of the pier to the right, from the beach when the sun is out you can see a light blue area, this is where you want to head towards.
It’s a long way, but for the most part the water there is shallow enough that an adult can stand on the sand bottom without issue.
You need flippers though as it’s a long way out.
If there is any wind make sure it’s blowing in shore to help swim back, stay close to the piers and as a last resort if you get tired, head to them and climb out on the steps there to walk back to shore.
We spent just over £1000 for the 2 of us, a week in march, with easyJet holidays. So not a premium holiday but for the money we think you are getting a very good deal, so much so we will go back for a third time. It has everything we need, the staff were all fantastic, the hotel was clean, the food was great, the beach is safe with its shallow water, and the gardens are nice to walk through
