This is a hotel with beautiful gardens ,great service & location easy beach access & good value. The corridors are tired & some finiishing on painting is not perfect. I would rather have great service with geniune smiles ( no tips expected either ) than perfect corridors , twice the cost & rude staff. I have stayed at lots of hotels in Egypt this I can recommend better value for money & great staff. Room 171 on ground floor perfect. Wi fi ok in the rooms not on the beach.

Recently, we stayed at this hotel and had only positive impressions.
The hotel is beautiful and well maintained, the rooms are spacious and clean. Everything works perfectly, and the rooms are cleaned daily, which is very comfortable.
The food is varied and delicious, so everyone can find something they like. The service is excellent: the staff are polite, attentive, and always ready to help.
Special thanks to the animator Yulia!❤️
Yulia is a real gem for the guests — incredibly friendly, kind, energetic, and always positive.
Thank you to the whole hotel team, and especially to Yulia, for such a wonderful stay!
We will definitely come back again!🤗

We had an overall very pleasant stay at Aurora Oriental Resort. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and clearly put a lot of effort into making guests feel looked after. Special mention to Mariam, who was my fave! The food was a real highlight: amazing quality with a very rich variety available at every meal, catering to different tastes. We were especially impressed by the effort the team made to organise Christmas events and entertainment, it genuinely added something special to our stay.
Our room was clean, well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable, which made resting easy after long days. One of my favourite aspects of the resort was the private beach. Having access to two piers was fantastic, and the water was crystal clear, perfect for swimming and relaxing.
There were, however, a few downsides. While it’s great to see sustainability efforts like recycling, the use of wastewater to water the grass first thing in the morning created an unpleasant smell, which made breakfast outdoors less enjoyable. We only had breakfast indoors for this reason. It was also not very nice to see yoga sessions taking place on that same grass. Additionally, the check-in experience felt rushed. Given the size of the resort, it would have been helpful to receive a map or brief orientation on arrival.
Overall, a lovely resort with some small but noticeable areas for improvement. Special thanks to the cleaning team, who decorated our room on two occasions, it felt very special.

Our second stay at the Aurora resort, we went last year too.
The rooms are large and spacious, but some of the fixtures are a little worn now, hence not giving it 5 stars. But everything was always spotlessly clean.
Our room was looked after by Gabr who was fantastic, even leaving me a birthday cake suprise after seeing some birthday cards left in my room after opening them in the morning.
The food always had plenty of choice and the staff were always on hand and helpful, one of the chefs even carried my wives omelet to her table because she was using crutches and I was held up waiting for food to be made elsewhere, sorry but we don’t know his name, the tall chef overseeing the service behind the counter, but thank you.
The beach is a nice walk away through the hotel gardens and has a shallow lagoon that goes out a long way.
For those wishing to snorkel, don’t be disappointed by the lack of reef. There are 2 piers at either side of the resort beach, on the left go out on the far side of this pier out to the end, you will find plenty to see there, or go out further on this side of the pier to the right, from the beach when the sun is out you can see a light blue area, this is where you want to head towards.
It’s a long way, but for the most part the water there is shallow enough that an adult can stand on the sand bottom without issue.
You need flippers though as it’s a long way out.
If there is any wind make sure it’s blowing in shore to help swim back, stay close to the piers and as a last resort if you get tired, head to them and climb out on the steps there to walk back to shore.
We spent just over £1000 for the 2 of us, a week in march, with easyJet holidays. So not a premium holiday but for the money we think you are getting a very good deal, so much so we will go back for a third time. It has everything we need, the staff were all fantastic, the hotel was clean, the food was great, the beach is safe with its shallow water, and the gardens are nice to walk through

Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not a Real 5-Star Resort
I stayed at this resort in Sharm El Sheikh for 5 days, including New Year’s Eve, and unfortunately the experience was far below expectations.
The structure feels old and rundown — it seems stuck 20 years in the past, with virtually no visible maintenance. The rooms are absolutely not at a 5-star level: dated, poorly maintained, and only moderately clean at best.
Overall cleanliness throughout the resort was mediocre. The minibar was almost empty, which is unacceptable for a supposed luxury property.
The buffet offered international food, but the quality was average at best. Breakfast was similarly underwhelming, with limited variety and nothing memorable.
In summary, this resort does not deserve its 5-star rating. It feels misleading and far from luxury. I would not recommend it unless major renovations and improvements are made.
