We had an overall very pleasant stay at Aurora Oriental Resort. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and clearly put a lot of effort into making guests feel looked after. Special mention to Mariam, who was my fave! The food was a real highlight: amazing quality with a very rich variety available at every meal, catering to different tastes. We were especially impressed by the effort the team made to organise Christmas events and entertainment, it genuinely added something special to our stay.
Our room was clean, well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable, which made resting easy after long days. One of my favourite aspects of the resort was the private beach. Having access to two piers was fantastic, and the water was crystal clear, perfect for swimming and relaxing.
There were, however, a few downsides. While it’s great to see sustainability efforts like recycling, the use of wastewater to water the grass first thing in the morning created an unpleasant smell, which made breakfast outdoors less enjoyable. We only had breakfast indoors for this reason. It was also not very nice to see yoga sessions taking place on that same grass. Additionally, the check-in experience felt rushed. Given the size of the resort, it would have been helpful to receive a map or brief orientation on arrival.
Overall, a lovely resort with some small but noticeable areas for improvement. Special thanks to the cleaning team, who decorated our room on two occasions, it felt very special.

The hotel offers a true sense of harmony, comfort, and tranquility from the moment you arrive. Modern and meticulously maintained, it features clean, cozy rooms where it’s easy to relax and recharge. The staff is wonderful — attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The dining experience is excellent: a wide variety of fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented dishes.
The hotel grounds are green, tidy, and perfect for leisurely walks at any time of day. The sea is just nearby, with a gentle, comfortable entry that makes swimming especially enjoyable. Around the hotel, there are charming cafés and shops where you can take a slow stroll, enjoy a coffee, and soak in the resort atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where everyday worries melt away, letting you fully enjoy the moment.
A place that leaves warm memories and a strong desire to return ✨

This is a hotel with beautiful gardens ,great service & location easy beach access & good value. The corridors are tired & some finiishing on painting is not perfect. I would rather have great service with geniune smiles ( no tips expected either ) than perfect corridors , twice the cost & rude staff. I have stayed at lots of hotels in Egypt this I can recommend better value for money & great staff. Room 171 on ground floor perfect. Wi fi ok in the rooms not on the beach.

Recently, we stayed at this hotel and had only positive impressions.
The hotel is beautiful and well maintained, the rooms are spacious and clean. Everything works perfectly, and the rooms are cleaned daily, which is very comfortable.
The food is varied and delicious, so everyone can find something they like. The service is excellent: the staff are polite, attentive, and always ready to help.
Special thanks to the animator Yulia!❤️
Yulia is a real gem for the guests — incredibly friendly, kind, energetic, and always positive.
Thank you to the whole hotel team, and especially to Yulia, for such a wonderful stay!
We will definitely come back again!🤗

Do not pay for taxis at the front desk. They will charge per head when you can just literally walk 10 seconds out the resort and get taxis for much better price. For example we had a mini bus take 14 of us to Soho Square for 1000 in total there and back. We just WhatsApp messaged the driver half hour before we needed them to take us back to a resort. Hotel staff quoted 250 per head.
Hotel buffet is very hit or miss. Luckily Arab Bucks are just over the road and will deliver. German Bakery and Mango are also nice places to eat at.
My hotel room was nice but infested with mosquitos. Left room service a tip but they asked for more the next day but did give us an extra water bottle I suppose.
My hotel bath also had a hole in it which was filled with filler. We were a large party and two rooms had a leak in the week that we were there so not surprised.
Be careful of stray dogs roaming around on the beach and just outside the resort.
