Rooms are nice and clean. There is also security at the entrance and in the lobby, which is a nice touch.
There were a few downsides:
- There was a mandatory $10 charge for having a car. When shopping for hotel by price, this is a misleading tactic. Why even have it this sneaky charge - there is no shortage of parking in Orlando.
- There is no free coffee in the lobby in the morning. Unusual to not have that. There is a coffee machine with two cups worth of coffee in the room to offset this. I think they don't have free coffee to lean you towards buying their breakfast.
- Internet was spotty, and disconnected multiple times during the two hour call I had. One of the main reasons for me to get the room here was the promise of "high-speed internet". Needed it to be reliable.
- Housekeeping knocking on doors at 9 AM
- Poor insulation around the room entrance door, letting a lot of outside noise into the room through the cracks.

Stayed here over the weekend. You get what you paid for. The rooms weren’t terrible but are in need of updating. Walls are thin so you can hear a lot of what’s going on outside as people walk by. The staff aren’t the greatest. The staff member upon arrival our first night was just rude and not friendly at all. The next morning we went to check out the breakfast and decided against it and as we were walking out a man asked us aggressively if this was the Rosen International, we told him no. We passed the front desk with the worker who was sitting watching the interaction who just said no and shook their head. I suggested they tell the person instead of a person who was not registered to be there walking around asking potentially posing a threat.
They have a breakfast buffet which was typical continental breakfast choices.

Had a very pleasant stay at the Rosen Inn, Closest to Universal. The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The staff was excellent — friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Everything was convenient and well-kept, making our trip to Universal even better. Definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

I stayed with my boyfriend during the first week of october 2025.
The location is great, near Premium outlets, restaurants and Universal. It also provides a free shuttle to the parks.
I believe our bad experience was limited to that specific room but since the windows don’t open, there’s a musty smell.
We had to request a new room on our second night because we found bugs in the bathroom when we arrived late at night.
The girl at the front desk was very helpful and gave us a new room, which was much better — no smell and no bugs.

The hotel is aged and it shows in almost every place you look. The room AC was barely hanging on and could not cool the room. Even with the blinds closed and the room empty, the hallway was much cooler than the room. The bathroom was incredibly small and looked like it had flooded many times over. The wood door and trim had wooden fiber fuzz from water damage and had been spackled and painted many times over. On day 2 of our stay, the cockroaches made their presence known. While I understand it's the south and how hard they are to get rid of, the general poor conditions of the room make it suspect. The only real good thing about this place is that it is 1.5 miles from Universal City Walk and the elevators move very quickly. We got a steep discount on our room and the hotel felt like a discount hotel. I thought being a partner hotel to Universal that there might be some level of quality.
I would recommend staying elsewhere if you can afford it.
