We chose this hotel primarily for its location, but left extremely dissatisfied with the overall condition of the property. I strongly recommend reading the negative reviews before booking. While the resort is advertised online as newly remodeled and modern, that impression quickly disappears upon arrival.
The exterior of the building is in poor condition and resembles a run-down motel rather than a resort. After checking in, we drove around the property and noticed multiple individuals loitering, as well as doors left cracked open throughout the building, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere before we even entered our room.
Although the room contained newer furniture, there was an unpleasant odor and the renovations appeared to be poorly executed. The bathroom was especially concerning — cracked shower tiles, a soft and damaged bathtub, and visible water leakage into the room made it feel unsanitary. There were also clear signs of inadequate cleaning, including dried mucus on the walls and hair left in the drain.
A dehumidifier ran constantly in the bathroom and was extremely loud. Upon inspection, it appeared to be filled with mold, which was alarming. The mattresses were thin and very uncomfortable, comparable to old college dorm mattresses, with little to no support.
We had planned to use the on-site Tesla charger, but it was completely damaged and unusable upon arrival, which was another major disappointment.
Overall, I would not recommend this property. The photos posted by the hotel are highly misleading and do not accurately represent the poor condition of the hotel in person.

Good hotel for the location. There are a few attractions nearby, and it’s close to all the Universal and Disney parks. The staff was okay, but check-in took a long time.
The hallways and elevators were really dirty. The elevator in building two wasn’t working about half the time. We mentioned it to two staff members, but they didn’t seem bothered and were pretty nonchalant about it, like it was normal.
The pool is heated, which is really nice during the winter. The bedroom was okay, but the bathroom was kind of small. The water pressure wasn’t great. The room was dirty when we arrived the trash wasn’t taken out and there was a used soap bar left in the shower.
The restaurant is also really expensive.
We didn't haveanyc cleaning room service for all our stay so 3 nights.

I stayed here for a few days. The bartender, Leyla, was awesome! She has a great attitude and great customer service! She was very pleasant and makes good drinks. I will be back the next time I am in Orlando. The hotel is in a very convenient location on international drive with lots to do.

The previous reviews baffle me. The hotel is so cheap and worth the money. It’s not luxury but it’s not going to be for the price. I was so worried to stay after seeing the reviews. I was put in one of the newer rooms and I brought antibacterial wipes due to the reviews, but they were wasted as the room was clean! We had issues with our safe and maintenance came to help but they won’t enter your room unless you’re there for their own liability. So reviews saying that they don’t turn up isn’t true. They just won’t go in unless you are in there with them. Which I like. The staff were lovely and they have security walking round the whole hotel so felt safe. I’m from the uk and wonder if we just have different standards as previous reviews worried me beyond belief. Free shuttle to the parks however they weren’t that often in October so we got Ubers some days. The pool was huge and loved the hot tub after a long day at the parks. Overall I would recommend this hotel for someone who wants a safe but budget hotel close to restaurants and the parks. Thank you!

This was our first time staying at this hotel, although we have stayed in several other hotels along International Drive in the past. We stayed from December 27th to January 10th. When booking through our travel agent, we specifically requested Block 2 with a pool view; however, on arrival we were allocated Room 4308 in Block 4, which faced the car park and Embassy Suites. Due to its close proximity to the motorway, noise was an issue at times. Upgrading the external doors and windows would go a long way toward resolving this.
The room itself was very basic but did include all the essentials: a fridge, coffee machine, TV, and hairdryer. I can’t comment on rooms in other blocks, but ours was extremely basic. The bathroom, in particular, is in need of a complete refurbishment. My son wanted to have a bath, but I had to go to Walgreens to buy cleaner and a scrubbing sponge to remove soap scum before it could be used. I also had to purchase a bathtub stopper as the one provided didn’t fit. There was hair on the bathroom floor and in the plughole, the bathroom door was starting to rot, the shower rail was cracked, and the vanity unit outside the bathroom was warped and also showing signs of rot. The floors were extremely dirty and clearly needed a deep clean—we ended up buying our own mop and bucket to clean them ourselves.
The in-room safe was broken; the battery cover was missing and the batteries were being held in place with tape. Maintenance had to attend on four occasions to open the safe because the tape kept coming loose, and each time they simply added more tape instead of fixing the issue properly.
The stairwells were also very dirty and would benefit from a thorough power wash.
On a positive note, the pool area is great, with plenty of sunbeds and fresh towels (although these can run out quickly, they can be requested from the pool bar staff). There is a small gym with enough equipment to keep you ticking over. There’s also a games room, though many of the arcade games were broken, and a pool bar with a wide variety of drinks. The sanded beach volleyball area is a nice touch, although sand does get tracked around the pool and into the water. This didn’t bother us, but some guests did complain.
Housekeeping was generally good aside from the issues already mentioned with the floors and bathroom. Towels were changed daily, beds were made each day, and our linen was changed three times during our two-week stay.
The location is excellent, with both ICON Park and Pointe Orlando within walking distance, and I-Ride trolley stops close to the hotel.
With some investment in modernization and refurbishment, this place could be really good. Overall, it’s not a bad place to stay—just don’t expect the Ritz.
