On arrival it felt like i was back in the 90’s with the decor and vibe. We were greeted at check in by very friendly members of staff who were more than happy to help.
As we drove round to our building we were on the third floor of block D we felt we were stepping back in time. The room was clean and Air con was Fabulous. However it really felt dated and in need of a boost into the 2020’s. However it served its purpose with two double beds, clean bathroom and plenty of space.
The location was fantastic for us as we were visiting for the weekend Collect-A-Con which was held at the orange county convention centre right next door. Even though we rented a car for the weekend we grabbed a ‘Lyft’ to the centre as too hot to walk and the car park filled up too quick. It cost $4!
This is a great budget Hotel with no frills

I liked this hotel. It is a budget-friendly and affordable option, yet neat and clean. The location is very convenient—right on International Drive (I-Drive) and close to Universal Studios. They also provide a shuttle service to Universal, which is very helpful.
There are many nearby places to eat and enjoy, making the stay comfortable and convenient. Overall, it’s a good choice if you’re looking for a clean, economical hotel in a great location.

Pros:
-15 min walk to OCCC South and the walk is quite beautiful, lined with live oaks and Spanish moss
-No resort fee, and relatively inexpensive
-Has a small fitness room with complimentary towels and water
Cons:
-Rooms are out of date, upholstery is peeling, and cleanliness is variable. I had to change rooms because the shower and sink did not drain in my first room, and there was dust on most surfaces, hair in the shower and dirt on the bed. My second room was better in that the drains worked and I did not find hair in the shower, but the other issues remained.
-The walls are quite thin and noise carries. Most rooms face the highway and there is associated noise throughout the night.
-The internet connection was spotty throughout my stay.
-Every morning trash was piled in the stairwell. It was removed by the end of the day.
-When the heat is turned on your fire alarm will go off. It will last a few minutes and turns off on its own, but it is inevitable.
-The heat will invariably turn off to blow cold air during the night. Turn the entire unit off, turn it back on to cool, then set to heat at a lower temp (e.g. 70). Once warm air blows, gradually increase the temp to your desired end point. That is what worked for me.
-The fitness room does not seem to have fans and the sweat smell lingers. I do not know if the room is heated. The tvs on the exercise machines do not work.
-Be warned that if you want to leave your luggage with the hotel when you check out, they will not place your bags for you. They will take you into the holding area and you will need to lift and place your bag yourself. Likewise, when you pick your bag up, they will not retrieve your bag for you. They will take you to the holding area, have you get whichever bags you claim are yours, and will not check your ticket to verify the bag you have taken is your own.
In short, this is more of a motel than a hotel, and it is 3-stars in name only. I would say this is more akin to an extended stay motel and it only deserves a 2-star status.

This is a decent hotel overall and a good value for the price. The rooms—and honestly the property in general—are a bit dated, but everything was clean, which mattered most to me. The room also had a mini fridge and microwave, which was convenient. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. For the price point, this is pretty much what I’d expect, and the location is a big plus since it’s easy to get around to everything. I’d stay again for a last-minute trip when I’m being more budget-conscious.

This is a great hotel for the price. The beds are super comfy and you get fresh towels every day, with fresh bedding every 3 days. The location on international drive is great, really close to Universal and not too far from Disney. It is walkable to different restaurants on I-Drive and you don't feel like you're surrounded by shops and busy roads. There are 3 pools which were clean and quiet.
The free Universal buses are easy to book and free for hotel guests which is a nice touch.
My only con would be that the rooms are a little outdated but we found them to be clean, so weren't particularly bothered by this.
We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend for people needing somewhere to stay when visiting the parks.
