Firstly, ALL the front of house staff at this resort are truly amazing! They are so polite, well mannered, helpful and always smiling. Its a pleasure interacting with them.
We reserved a 2 bedroom suite which comfortably holds 6 so for the 5 of us was no issue. The suite had 2 large bathroom, huge walk-in showers, double sinks, loads of wardrobes space, a TV within a cabinet at the end of the bed and a large double balcony. Overall, a very spacious suite.
We had a seaview, which for me is slightly better than the pool view.
There are 3 swimming pools to choose from, which are all very nice, but note none are heated.
The kids waterpark is brilliant! 8 slides in total, 3 of which are great for older children……and adults 😂😂🤣🤣😅😅
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all first class. There is something for everyone and everything is excellent quality.
We enjoyed 7 perfect days at this resort and highly recommend it.
5 stars all the way 👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👍🏾

We’ve just returned from the most amazing stay and I can honestly say this hotel exceeded all of our expectations.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and genuinely friendly – nothing ever felt too much trouble. That warmth really set the tone for the whole holiday.
The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained throughout our stay, which made it so easy to relax and feel at home.
One of the biggest highlights was the food. The variety across the restaurants was outstanding – from local dishes to international favourites, there was something new to enjoy every day. The quality was consistently high, and it never felt repetitive.
For families, the entertainment was brilliant. Our kids were never short of things to do, and the activities kept them engaged and happy, which meant we could enjoy some time to unwind too.
It’s rare to find a hotel that gets everything right – comfort, service, food, and family fun – but this one absolutely does. We’ll definitely be coming back, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect family holiday.
In terms of the negative reviews I can only suggest they are slightly out of touch with reality of what you now get for your money in the current environment.

Highlights of the hotel was the staff, who were amazing, clearly very well trained and customer service levels were very good. Reception helped us out a lot (especially Stamoulia?) when we requested to change room. Food and drink is also a highlight which is very good for an all inclusive resort. You should market your vegetarian food more. Special mention goes to the bar staff who made very good quality cocktails.
Lack of heating of the pools meant that they were very cold when we were there in early October - too cold a lot of the time for our 1 year old. However, I appreciate why that is the case and that when you have very hot weather the pools are probably fine, and that there is not much you can do about that. Just something to consider if you plan on visiting outside of peak time.
Hotel is well presented and gardens are beautiful. Gym could do with some updated equipment, particularly machines. There is plenty room.
Kids club was very tasteful and staff were very helpful. Would be good to have a play area separate to the kids club.
Not the easiest to get off and explode the resort - again not your fault just a feature of the location.

MarBella is a beautiful and well run hotel. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to assist in every possible way.
The food is plentiful and well presented snd service was prompt.
This is a hotel that caters for children and whilst we do not have children, we found them pleasant and not unruly. Saying that, we were advised that during school holidays children were very boisterous and we would certainly recommend avoiding school holidays.
We had a lovely superior room with a sea view which I would recommend upgrading to.
We had a lovely one week stay in October.

We had an excellent stay in this beautiful resort. For us 5 stars well deserved.
Let me highlight a couple of things that I couldn’t find in other reviews or that I find helpful to mention:
- All staff is extremely friendly and kind. We feel very welcome and appreciated.
- The service desk is very understanding and helpful with special requests.
- We found a good variety and quality of food. For us one of the main important things for an all-inclusive resort. There are multiple buffet options and also a la carte restaurants for different food options.
- Reservation for a la carte dinner is required, there is a dining desk that’s very helpful to coordinate these reservations and special needs for food. No need to worry in advance, at entrance of our stay they already made reservations which you could change if wanted (even last minute). No need to worry for queueing or rushing for reservations for restaurants.
- Best restaurant for us was Celeste. The dining out was not very special, but ok.
- Throughout the day you can order food and drinks using an app and they bring it to your desired spot or chair at the pool/beach. Fast service as well :-).
- A video was posted in a review previous month where you could see stairs flooding with water. What you could not see in the video is that these stairs are outside and this area could easily be avoided. In my honest opinion, no need to bash the hotel for heavy rainy conditions. There is no problem. I posted a photo for another view of these stairs.
- Plenty of seating in pool and beach area’s. No need to rush of fight for a spot. Towel service is great as well, you can take as many clean towels as needed throughout the day.
- It is almost off-season (mid October) and all mentioned services, activities, restaurants and bars are still open and functional.
- So far no hidden fees or extra money required. Everything mentioned in the brochure is included in the package and no upselling whatsoever. Only extra fees required we found so far is for spa service and motorized water activities (and this was mentioned in brochure beforehand).
- Hygiene is good. Rooms, toilets and all places are clean.
- We booked the “cheapest option” and found this room to be neat, comfortable and luxury.
- Free boat tour from hotel beach to the south, swim included. Really nice trip!
- Some of the spots are steep hill access only. At the lobby the staff is friendly to assist with a golf car to drive you to parking area, and swimming pool uphill. They park your car, they get your car, they just want to drive you around even if you are young and fit enough to walk everything yourself.
Any room for improvement? Yes, there are some minor things but none bother me so much to take call it a problem.
- No toilets in some restaurants, you have to walk a bit (not far). At some spots toilets hard to find. For a pregnant lady that has to use the loo a lot it feels a bit of a challenge.
- routes to beach and spots to reach without stairs felt a bit of a treausure hunt. Or maybe this was a hidden activity :-).
- Acoustics in most of the restaurants is quite overwhelming. All surfaces are straight hard smooth materials (tile floor, ceiling, walls), which causes reverb sounds. That can be overwhelming for the ears after a while.
If you ask me, this is a highly recommended resort and they deserve 5 star review.
