We had a fantastic time at Holiday Palace! The staff clearly enjoy their work, and it shows in the way they interact with their guests, warm and very attentive. We were traveling with a 2 year old, and he certainly didn't lack any attention from the team.
In particular, I would like to thank the twins colleague Eleonora and Engenia, for their hospitality. They truly took our stay to the next level!
The hotel itself feels luxurious and spacious, and the views are phenomenal. Some rooms overlook the sea, while others face the airplanes/ runway. For my son, the runway was a huge hit!
The restaurant's buffet offers a wide variety of dishes. Hostesses Antoinette and Maria welcomed us with a smile every evening, and together with the Restaurant Manager, they ensured that guests had everything they needed.
The location is ideal, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel and only a 15-minute ride to the Old Town.
All in all, we would love to come back again.
Thank you, Holiday Palace!!

We stayed at this hotel, and while it definitely has its strong points, the overall structure and some of the services do not reflect a 5-star luxury standard, showing too many signs of aging.
The Superior rooms we stayed in have been modernized, and the in-room amenities were complete and functional. On the downside, the bathroom clearly feels its age. Generally speaking, the hotel retains an outdated 1980s layout with very dated interiors. A major negative note goes to the -2 floor, where the smell of mold was incredibly strong and unbearable.
The front desk staff was precise, professional, and fast. However, the general housekeeping service was insufficient, particularly in the common areas. For instance, plates and glasses from room service were left abandoned in the hallways outside the rooms for two whole days.
The breakfast is unfortunately the real sore point of the property. It is absolutely not adequate for a 5-star hotel, feeling more like a decent 3-star instead. The products are of medium-low quality and premium options are completely missing (such as salmon/fish, or barista coffee drinks prepared fresh on request). On the other hand, the hotel bar is very nice, offering a proper and well-selected wine list.
The pool area is excellent, well-maintained, and definitely one of the best highlights of the entire property for relaxing.
In summary, the strategic location and the pool area save the stay, but to maintain a 5-star rating, much more attention to detail, better cleanliness, and a significant upgrade to the dining options are sorely needed.

We had the pleasure of visiting both the à la carte restaurant and the pool restaurant, and overall it was a wonderful experience.
The hotel offers a truly magnificent view, which sets the perfect atmosphere from the very beginning. We started our visit with coffee at La Veranda Restaurant, where we were warmly welcomed. A special thank you to Thodoris for his excellent service and professionalism, he really stood out.
All staff members in the pool restaurant were exceptionally polite, attentive, and professional, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. The service was prompt and efficient, which added to the overall positive experience.
The food was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. We especially recommend the beef tenderloin. It was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The cocktails were also impressive, particularly the CHP Rose with pink gin and mastiha, which had a unique and refreshing taste.
Last but not least, a big thank you to the F&B manager, Harrys, for his outstanding hospitality. He was incredibly kind, took the time to show us around, and made sure our lunch experience was absolutely top-notch.
Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

We stayed for one night as our flight was cancelled, the room was disappointing for a 5 star hotel, tired and dated albeit clean, the shower was a fixed unit which directed water over the top of you which meant you had to stand by the opening causing flooding all over the bathroom. The toilet water was running all night, others were reporting maintenance issues at reception as we were leaving. The bed however was really comfortable and the pillows like clouds.
Breakfast was an average spread, we arrived early to eat as we needed to check out early and all of the hot food was already luke warm, the staff seemed totally disinterested. If I had a week of this for the price of the room, I would not be very happy.
Commendation to the night reception who dealt with our 1.30am arrival, he was super helpful and had a great sense of humour and for the transfer driver who was very friendly and professional.

Booked via On the Beach for a week in June for a Superior Room with Lake or Ancient Port View and Balcony or Terrace.
Was initially allocated a Basic Room but after 1st night when brought up at reception was promptly allocated a better room. I feel the description is somewhat glossy....what they describe as a lake view is actually the airport runway!! I feel it should definitely be mentioned that the hotel is very very close to the airport so you constantly hear the sound of planes.
I agree with many others reviews that the hotel is a max of 4* not 5* for sure.
Staff is friendly and welcoming. It was thoughtful that they left some cold platters for us as we arrived at midnight.
Although nice and clean it needs renovation as quite dated.
The indoor pool was very smelly and not inviting at all as well as the spa. You enter it via the outdoor bar so not the usual welcoming at all. No activities either. It would be nice to have some aqua gym or similar classes in the morning.
On a positive note rooms were cleaned everyday. Food at the restaurant was also good, a good variety and clearly labelled.
