We stayed here for four nights three days, which was enough time for this hotel.
Location is beautiful, surrounding areas are very picturesque and everywhere is kept tidy and clean.
Staff were all accommodating and friendly.
We had a garden view room which was lovely, two twin beds pushed together but this was enough room for me and my partner, comfy beds aswell.
Beach beds are always available but we are at the beginning of the season so I'm not sure what this would be like during peak season. Fresh towels were available each day but they do leave a kind note in the room asking to resue your towels as much as possible as a kind gesture to the planet which is what we did. You can order straight to your sun bed on the beach which was handy and a nice touch to their service.
The breakfast buffet in the morning was great, lots of options to choose from.
Evening food we felt there could have been some more options available, one night we opted to pay for the evening buffet which was €40 a head, I would understand maybe €20 a head but not €40. For what the evening buffet offered we felt it didn't compare to the breakfast one but we still enjoyed what we picked out to eat but after this we mostly stuck to the room service menu, which is also the same menu available as one of their other restaurants on site. Again it would be beneficial to have a separate menu in your restaurant different to your room service menu but nevertheless we had enjoyed our meals.
In the morning there is a shuttle bus to take you into the old town close by and it brings you back for around 1:30pm, that's the only one they do so if you'd want the venutre out at a different time it will cost around €25 each way.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing and would visit again.
Thank you 😊

We stayed at Kontokali in a 2 bedroom suite earlier in July. Here's my synopsis of the resort:
Our room was great, we stayed with our kids and the way the suite was designed was weird to me at first but grew on me as the trip went on. The views from our room were great, the balconies were very nice and large. And the bathroom was huge.
The food on property was solid, we ate at Parea and whatever the buffet restaurant was for breakfast. The buffet was really good, like solid, great omelette station and anything you could want. Parea was good, views were great, and our wait Dionysus was the man.
The location is gorgeous, the beaches are nice, pool is nice but a bit small. Hard to get a lounger. The service at the pool was weird, specifically they didnt lay out towels, you had to go downstairs to get them and the food service at the pool was just ok.
There is a little place in between the two beaches where you can rent boats, waves runners etc. We rented a boat twice, it was cheap and easy.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel with a great view and a lot of facilities. There are two diversified and very good restaurants for breakfast. One big pool has salted and warm water and a view of the sea. Every night, there are shows with different types of music. The car rental service is great with good offers. There is a towel changing service on the beach and bar services directly to the sunbeds. Natural shade is available on the beach if you stay under the pine trees. There's a playground for kids with a pool and friendly staff, spa service, a gym, and an indoor pool. Tasty food is available at lunch and dinner.
The staff needs a little more experience:
1. **Restaurant:** When we arrived, we installed the application, which is very useful for checking activities. It even says it's good for booking, but not entirely so. On the first day, the waiter almost threw us out even though we had a booking reservation via the app at 5 p.m. Why? Because they start at 7 p.m., so it was not valid. We insisted because we had just checked in and were hungry, and we offered to leave the table by 7 p.m., and he eventually accepted. He recommended that we book the next day at 7 p.m. directly with him, not through the app, so we did. The next day, our reservation was moved to 8:30 p.m. I had to show them where in their notebook they had booked us at 7 p.m., so they finally let us in again.
2. **Reception:** Due to our charter flight changing, we had to check out very early. So, we went to reception to pay whatever we had charged to the room the night before. We realized the next day that we should have told the receptionist that it would be nice to prepare a box for a takeaway breakfast, because otherwise, they do not offer it on their own initiative.
3. **Rooms:** Big room with access to our own pool, with service that changed towels daily. However, the service also needs to check the replacements in the bathroom and refill them. If we had to stay one more night, we wouldn't have had any shower gel to wash with.
4. **Cleaning around:** Every night, the staff from the beach cleans the path from sand, which is quite good. Someone also chose to clean up with hypochlorite in the morning at the Marina restaurant. Because of that, all the water was tracked onto shoes inside the food service area, which was very slippery. My son fell on his back and, of course, destroyed his clothes and mine due to the fact that I had to hold him in my arms, and his shoes were full of hypochlorite.

Excellent experience! The hotel was very clea, the staff was courteous and always willing to help. The location was ideal, and the facilities fully met our needs.
For our transfer to and from our hotel we used the services of the transfer company Prestige Luxury Transfer which we were completely satisfied with as well....
Everything was perfect, the car was brand new, very clean and comfortable . Our driver was very cheerful, polite and friendly.
I would definitely choose it again and highly recommend it!!

Kontokali Bay Resort enjoys one of the best locations in Corfu, with direct beach access, beautiful sea views, and convenient proximity to Corfu Town. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay.
That said, the property feels somewhat dated, particularly the rooms, which could benefit from refurbishment and modernization. Some facilities also felt out of touch with current luxury resort standards, especially the gym, which was quite limited and featured only one standard treadmill. While the resort may still be considered luxurious by some European standards, international travelers accustomed to more contemporary luxury offerings may find certain aspects of the property in need of updating.
Overall, while the location and warm hospitality were definite highlights, the resort would greatly benefit from updates to its rooms and facilities to match the expectations of today’s travelers.
