We stayed from 7/27-7/30 and were there for our wedding anniversary and my birthday. I’d give a 5 star overall except our shower was messed up. Either really hot with great water pressure or very cold and low water pressure. I informed my concierge and someone was supposed to go up and look/fix the issue. We were at Epic Universe all day, extremely hot and we’re able to take a relaxing shower at the end of our day. Nothing was ever done about the issue. It was super annoying to stand out of the hot water trying to turn the handle only to have it turn ice cold again. However they have a free shuttle to Universal theme parks and that was super convenient.

Very comfortable room in a very conveniently-located spot. The front desk was a massive help for any questions or requests we had, no matter the time. The main pool was an excellent temperature, and had no crowds in the morning. We were worried that, between it being sold out the weekend we were there and there being a conference going on, that there wouldn't be much solitude for the weekend. However, the rooms were effectively sound-insulated and the other guests seemed to be generally respectful. With the low price point coupled with the proximity to Universal, this is would definitely be a top consideration for myself and my family the next time any of us head to the park.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel Universal Orlando. While the hotel itself was nice, I was very disappointed with how charges were handled. I booked through a third party and was never told there would be a daily parking fee. At check-in, the staff only mentioned needing a card for incidental charges—parking was not brought up at all. Upon checkout, I discovered I was being charged for parking each day of my stay.
I would have appreciated transparency about these fees up front so I could make an informed decision. Hidden charges like this take away from the overall guest experience. Guests deserve clear communication about all fees at check-in, not surprise charges at checkout.

This exquisite property was the chosen destination for one night of our recent excursion. We secured two accommodations: a king-sized room and a double queen-sized room. Upon our early arrival, we were promptly granted access to our double queen room. A dedicated staff member named Carlos assisted us with our luggage, attended to our check-in process, and carried our belongings up the stairs to our room. His attentiveness extended beyond our immediate needs, as he provided us with comprehensive information about the property and offered valuable recommendations.
To our delight, our king-sized room was unexpectedly upgraded to a spacious corner suite at no additional cost. The property’s culinary offerings were exceptional, particularly the restaurant and the on-site pool. The breakfast buffet was a culinary delight.

The perfect place to stay if you’re going to universal or if you’re not and just want to visit Orlando. LINDA was PHENOMENAL with her customer service, she exceeded the star ratings that I’m able to give her. She went above and beyond with her generosity and kind gestures. I also want to say another lady I absolutely adored was BRENDA, she served me and my boyfriend food and wow did she have amazing customer service skills. She was super sweet, and wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our food and beverages. She always checked in on us and if I can give her 10 stars I would!!!!! I will continue to tell all of my friends and family how pleasurable our stay was here and we will definitely be coming back and giving you guys more business.
