Beautiful hotel! Front desk and concierge staff were incredible! Rooms were great size and clean! Conference area was set up very nicely and perfect for our event (attendee perspective).
Only downfalls: pool was too cold, for everyone we chatted with. American Grill staff was mediocre at best. At worst-literally ignored us for 10+ minutes when trying to place a pick-up order. Finally a server from across the bar came to help-he was great.

** theme parks: the location is great for visiting universal or islands of adventure etc. it’s just a short walk (and a pleasant one)
** rooms: average I would say. What we didn’t like: we turned off the AC during the day, and every day the AC was turned on again from the cleaning staff at a freezing 17 degrees Celsius. With no option to ventilate the room. Big minus Point. And: the fridge freezes our drinks and food because it’s set so cold.
In the bathrooms the sinks are a bit disgusting (mold if you look closer), the hair dryer hasn’t been cleaned in ages.
** pool: the pools are nice, however the spa pool / whirlpool is set for over 40 degrees Celsius (111 Fahrenheit ) , my Apple Watch measured it. That means that you can not comfortably sit in the pool. We went there a couple of nights in a row and everyone was complaining about it and sitting outside the pool because it was too hot.
** breakfast: not so huge but you have waffles and can chose your omelets with toppings. Great service there.

I stayed here for four nights for a conference, which was being held at the hotel. The parking lot had gated access but often times people did not know how to use them so there would sometimes be a delay in getting out. The system that they use is not very intuitive either, but once you figure it out, parking is easier. I understand there being gated access since it’s close to Universal and you don’t want park goers taking up spaces. Parking is typically $33 a day which is a little pricey compared to others I’ve stayed at. Check in was simple and I enjoyed the cookie they gave me. My room was on the second floor so I ended up using the stairs since it was so close. Others I know had difficulties though because the elevators broke down a lot. I got a two queen bed room. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom had everything I needed as far as towels and shower supplies. The beds are comfortable and they were clean. There is a small fridge in the room but no microwave. There is no included breakfast which is also a minor drawback for me. The fitness center / gym was difficult to find but I did find it. It is relatively small and does not have a lot, but it suffices for a trip. It is close to a lot of great things as well as across from Universal Studios. Check out was simple as well and they gave me another cookie which was nice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

Great hotel with a convenient location near the universal parks. The room was clean and the complimentary bus shuttle to Universal Studios also made our stay pleasant. But the cherry on top was the front desk associate, Hakeem! He had great customer service skills, a welcoming personality, and ensured that everything was above our expectations, in which it was. Thank you and we'll be back in the near future!

Recently stayed here for a seminar. It's an older hotel but the great features of the rooms outweighs the minimal decor/charm. Lots of closet space, drawers, a real minifridge that was actually *cold*!! The bathroom had a storage area behind the door with stacks of towels and extra TP, Kleenix, and other amenities. As a result there was nice spacious to the shower & vanity area. Only a single sink but tons of counter space on both sides. All the people working there were very nice and helpful. Located close to restaurants, shopping and Disney.
