During our recent trip, my family and I decided to park at Hollywood Studios and take the Skyliner over to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. It was absolutely worth it. Parking was $35, but every penny felt justified the moment we stepped into Radiator Springs. Watching my son’s face light up as he saw the Cars theming in real life was truly priceless. From the second I first learned about this resort, I knew we had to bring our baby here, and seeing it in person exceeded every expectation. The attention to detail, the immersive storytelling, and the larger-than-life characters made it feel like we’d stepped straight into the movie. Although the rooms were fully booked during our stay, exploring the grounds alone was a magical experience. Between the vibrant theming, the fun photo ops, and the peaceful Skyliner ride, it felt like its own mini adventure. 10/10, I highly recommend a visit, even if you’re just stopping by to soak in the atmosphere. Disney magic at its finest!

We stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in May and had an absolutely fabulous experience! At check-in, we were treated to a little Disney “pixie dust” and received a complimentary upgrade to a family suite. The suite was perfect for our stay – it included a bedroom with a queen bed and private bathroom, a small kitchenette, a cozy TV sitting area with a pull-out bed, and a dining area where the table converted into another bed. Everything was clean, spacious, and well-kept.
Check-in itself was smooth, and all of our questions were answered. We even received a thoughtful follow-up phone call from the cast member who checked us in, just to make sure everything with our room was perfect – such a nice touch!
The Landscape of Flavors food court was busy but ran efficiently, and mobile ordering made things easy. There was a good variety of choices, and we liked having POP Century Resort close by for a few extra dining options.
We visited all of the pools, and each one was fun in its own way. The laundry facilities located by the pools were also very convenient. The gift shop was another highlight – a nice mix of resort-specific items, general Disney merchandise, and plenty of snacks and essentials.
Every cast member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and pleasant, which really added to the overall magic of our stay. Transportation was also a breeze thanks to the Skyliner, which felt quicker and more enjoyable than the standard bus rides.
Finally, the theming at this resort is simply outstanding. From the lobby to the different sections of the resort, there’s so much to take in – it just made us happy every time we walked around.
We would happily stay here again and recommend Disney’s Art of Animation Resort to anyone looking for a fun, immersive, and convenient Disney resort experience!

I really enjoyed my stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! The food was good, though I wish there was a bit more variety in the side dishes. The pool area was great—fun, relaxing, and perfect for cooling off after a day in the parks. The artwork and large character statues around the resort were really cool to look at and made for great photo spots.
The Disney Skyliner was absolutely worth it—such a convenient and scenic way to travel, and I loved the views from the clear-window cabins. Overall, it was a fun, colorful, and memorable experience!

This is a big resort with mostly family suites. It is quite sprawling so be ready to walk depending on where your room is
It is a highly themed resort that you have to see to believe . We were in Cars land and really enjoyed walking around and seeing the cars. Once again the theming is spectacular
The Little Mermaid rooms are basic rooms like any other studio. They are the.furthest from the front so bring a good pair of shoes
The family suites have a Murphy bed and a pullout so lots.of room. The bed was small though. The room we had could have fit a king but had a double.
It also had a microwave and sink plus 2 bathrooms so was super convenient
The busses were convenient. We never waited long or had to stand and the Skyliner is the best!
No issues coming back, especially for the price
I would have no issue recommending this resort

We stayed in a Lion King room. The kids really enjoyed all the themed designs. The room had a fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker, TV, dining table that converts to a double bed, a pull out couch, two bathrooms, and a queen sized bed. The room had its own thermostat and extra sheets and pillows. The resort is large so there is some walking involved in checkin. We loved riding the tram to Hollywood studios. VERY CONVENIENT! To get to Magic Kingdom you had to take a bus. This was not our favorite but I understand. Our children loved the pool however it is only open from. 10 am until 10pm. This was frustrating for us because our family is used to rising early. We were ready to hit the pool earlier than 10am.
I would recommend this resort to other families with young kids.
