We had an exceptional stay at this 5-star hotel in Lanzarote. From the moment we arrived the team made us feel welcome with warm, attentive service. Check-in was quick and hassle free.
Our room was spacious, beautifully styled, and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and housekeeping was thorough without ever being intrusive.
The dining options were outstanding. There were several restaurants on site, each with its own character and menu. The main buffet offered a great variety of fresh, high-quality choices for breakfast and dinner. The Isla de Lobos restaurants were excellent too infact Service in all the restaurants was attentive and friendly, and every meal felt like a treat.

Lively, busy resort with plenty of bars, varied European, Asian etc restaurants and cafes as well as local offerings including our favourites sangria and padron peppers.
Hotel Princesa Yaiza was fabulous! We upgraded to a room on 6th floor for a magnificent sea view - well worth it for our second week.
Our rooms - a suite for the first week and junior suite for the second, were clean, with very comfortable, huge, beds.
We thoroughly enjoyed playing padel for free for the first time on the court adjacent to the hotel. We were half-board and the buffet food was outstanding, in particular the salads and canapes at dinner and giant fresh prawns every night. The hotel staff were terrific, nothing was too much trouble and they were all friendly, cheerful and professional.

We have spent two weeks here every Christmas for the past three years, and it has become a very special tradition for our family. The hotel is always beautifully decorated for the festive season, and the staff work incredibly hard to make it feel magical for both adults and children. There is even a technician on hand to help unscrew toys and replace batteries, which perfectly sums up the level of care and attention.
What really sets this hotel apart is the service. There is a genuine warmth and happiness to help from everyone, whether at reception, housekeeping or in the restaurants. The staff clearly love children, and we have never had a bad experience. They are always happy to provide high chairs, cots, camp beds and many other children’s items, which makes travelling with a young child so much easier.
The hotel itself has heaps of character, with lots of cosy nooks where you can sit and relax. It is spacious and airy, and even when fully booked it never feels crowded. The rooms are large, and we always book a suite so that we can enjoy the evenings together once our son is asleep, often ordering room service or picking up takeaway from the many nearby restaurants.
We have used the crèche for two years running and the kids’ club this year, and our son absolutely loves it. The animation team have boundless energy and enthusiasm, and they are genuinely kind and caring. He received so many hugs and missed them terribly when we came home. The hotel also offers drop-off soft play and a kids’ club that do not require pre-booking, which gives a level of flexibility we really appreciate.
The location is perfect, right by the beach and between the marina and the port. Both are an easy and enjoyable walk along the promenade and coastline. We usually book bed and breakfast as we enjoy eating out, but we also like the hotel restaurants, especially the pool bar for lunch. Even when it is busy, the service is excellent.
The gym is modern, open for long hours and never especially crowded, although we did miss the Smith machine this year. The spa offers some lovely treatments, but once Christmas week arrives it is essential to book in advance as it is understandably very popular.
The only downside is the temperature of the pools. Although they are supposedly heated, they are very cold. We manage this by putting our son in a short wetsuit so he can enjoy the water for longer without getting too chilly.
Needless to say, we will be returning this Christmas!

We stayed at Princesa Yaiza over Christmas with our three children, all aged seven and under, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury and being truly family-friendly, which is not easy to achieve.
The breakfast buffet was outstanding; easily one of the best we’ve experienced. There was every food imaginable, making mornings a real highlight for both adults and children.
What truly sets Princesa Yaiza apart, though, is the guest experience and animation team. The kids’ club staff were phenomenal: incredibly patient, joyful, and genuinely kind. Our children felt completely at ease and excited to spend time there. The kids’ club itself is spacious, modern, spotless, and very well designed.
Christmas was handled with real magic and care. Stockings were delivered on Christmas Eve, and Santa Claus himself visited on Christmas Day with gifts for all the children.
The hotel’s location is also ideal, with immediate proximity to the beach, making everything feel easy and relaxed. Overall, Princesa Yaiza is very much worth the price. It’s a hotel that clearly invests in its guests and delivers an exceptional family holiday experience. We would happily return.

We wanted to take a moment to share how wonderful our experience has been with the animation team during our stay.
In particular, we would like to highlight Clara. The dedication she brought to the mini disco, and the genuine care and attentiveness she showed toward our children, truly stood out. She clearly has a natural gift and real passion for working with kids, and it shows in every interaction. Our children felt seen, included, and happy—and as parents, that makes a huge difference.
Please do pass on our sincere thanks to her and to the wider animation team for the energy, warmth, and professionalism they bring every day.
With thanks and appreciation.
