Overall, our stay was good, but there are several areas that could be improved.
Upon arrival, we found a very large crowd at the reception desk, which was understandable given the Eid Al Adha holiday period. However, better guest flow management would have made the check-in process much smoother. Offering cold refreshments to guests and children while waiting would also have created a much more welcoming first impression.
Unfortunately, although I paid for a Sea View room, the view was not what I expected. While the room technically overlooked the sea, it faced the back side overlooking Al Marjan Island rather than providing a direct front-facing sea view.
Room service response times were also quite slow when requesting additional services and amenities.
On the positive side, the buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of options, and the service at Seven Heights restaurant was outstanding. The evening entertainment was also enjoyable and added positively to the overall experience.
The swimming pools were probably the weakest part of the stay. They were extremely crowded, and there were no organized activities around the pools or beach. As a result, most guests gathered around the pools while the beach remained relatively empty.
For families with children, the hotel could benefit greatly from adding a small water park or splash area. Many neighboring resorts on Al Marjan Island offer such facilities, which significantly enhance the family experience.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and with some improvements in guest management, room service responsiveness, and family-friendly facilities, the experience could be even better.

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
The food was extremely poor in quality and lacked variety. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was unacceptable, especially the restrooms, which were so dirty that they were practically unusable.
The service was terrible. Most of the staff could barely communicate in English, making even simple requests frustrating and time-consuming.
The swimming pool was a major concern. Guests were allowed to enter the pool wearing dirty sports clothes and regular clothing, which is completely unhygienic. The pool itself appeared dirty, to the point where we did not feel comfortable using it at all. The hotel should seriously review its hygiene and safety standards.
We also paid extra for a late check-out. Although we were given wristbands for this service, they were not properly activated, and our room access stopped working. We had to return to reception and waste even more time while staff tried to resolve an issue that should never have happened in the first place.
Another disappointing experience was the buffet service. At exactly 3:30 PM, staff started removing the food, even while guests were still serving themselves. This felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The poor hygiene, terrible service, lack of organization, and low-quality food make it a complete waste of money. There are far better options available. Honestly, the condition of the swimming pool alone is enough to justify a formal complaint.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

The Teens Club at Rixos Bab Al Bahr was one of the best parts of the stay. There were so many fun activities, games, and entertainment every day, and the staff were super friendly and energetic. The atmosphere was really fun and welcoming, making it easy to meet new people and enjoy the experience. Everything was well organized, and there was always something exciting to do. It made the vacation much more enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend it for teenagers visiting the hotel! specially the staff are amazing olga was really supportive and helpful
