We had such a lovely stay at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy and welcoming. The rooms are very spacious, beautifully set up, and kept absolutely spotless.
What truly made our stay special was the service. George the East restaurant manager was fantastic, always warm and attentive. Ahmed at the pool looked after us so well, and Uttar and the rest of the team were just wonderful — always smiling and ready to help.
A big thank you to the whole team for making our time there so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

We've been at the hotel for 7 days now, on a family vacation with children. Our vacation was very comfortable, thanks to the hotel staff - Thin made our breakfasts special - thank you, thanks to Jacob for the great service on the beach, Moe for his attention and professionalism at East, and the beach and pool lifeguards for safety and comfort. The food was varied and delicious, with a large selection of tea (my favorites are white and Darjeeling). We didn't use the kids' club, but there is a special interesting program for kids. Our kids are happy here with pools and beach)) The beach is gorgeous, “blue” water, with a white sandy bottom. The rooms are spacious, and the cleaning was good. We even prolong our stay. Dear hotel management, please pay attention to the children's slides - the water below is green somewhere and the walls are green, and the water has an unpleasant smell. My second request is to improve the lost and found service; we lost a children's aqua shoe between room 001 and breakfast, and we haven't found it in 3 days.

We were pleasantly surprised by our two-night Valentine’s stay at this new resort. The atmosphere is quiet and serene, complemented by a great crowd and friendly staff. We especially loved the long, layered pathways—perfect for romantic evening walks.
The kids had a blast at Seashell Beach, and the water activities were a fantastic bonus. While the resort itself is lush and charming, the view of the cranes on Marjan Island is a bit of a drawback. Dining-wise, the food is decent, though Asian cuisine options are fairly limited. Overall, a beautiful, fresh resort with wonderful greenery.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Sofitel Al Hamra. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and very well maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere and exceptional service throughout. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the facilities were excellent, and the overall experience felt luxurious yet warm and welcoming.
What really made our stay special was the incredible attention to detail from the staff, especially when it came to families and children.
A very special thank you to Allan, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He was extremely attentive, kind, and genuinely caring, especially towards the youngest guests. His warmth, patience, and thoughtful approach did not go unnoticed and made a big difference in our experience.
We truly appreciate his dedication and hospitality. Staff like Allan are the reason guests feel so welcomed and taken care of. We will definitely be happy to return.

Today around 3:00 PM we walked past Waka at Sofitel and decided we would come back for dinner. Two staff members showed us the menu and explained the opening time. I clearly said we would definitely return in the evening with my daughter after the pool.
At 5:30 PM, when we arrived at the restaurant reception, we were told there were no available tables and that we could only come at 9:00 PM. I explained that I do not eat dinner at 9 PM and mentioned that earlier that day we had spoken to two employees — neither of them suggested making a reservation.
The only response I received was “sorry, we are fully booked” repeated several times. No effort to find a solution, no suggestion to add a small table, no attempt to accommodate two guests — nothing.
For a hotel of this level, this is unacceptable. If reservations are mandatory, guests should be informed clearly during the first interaction. Basic service standards were simply not met.
We were genuinely looking forward to having dinner there because we liked the view and the atmosphere. Instead, we left disappointed and had to find another place.
Very poor handling of the situation and not the level of service expected from a Sofitel property.
