We stayed at the Grand Kaptan Hotel in Alanya and were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious and diverse — always fresh, with a great selection of meats, fish, vegetables, and desserts. We especially enjoyed the themed dinners and the wide variety of salads. Even the pickiest guests will find something to their taste.
Special thanks go to the hard-working staff, who were always smiling, attentive, and ready to help. The waiters worked quickly, and the bartenders were true professionals.
We would like to especially highlight Mahira, who is incredibly friendly, kind, and caring. Her attitude created a warm atmosphere and made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for your attention, care, and always positive energy!
The hotel is comfortable, clean, has good infrastructure, and is conveniently located.
We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would gladly return again! 💙🌴✨

Went for Grand Kaptan as out first vacation with our infant, and the hotel did not dissapoint. Knowing the season was coming to an end, we did not think much of this as we did not get any information on reduction of service or any changes. Been travelling around the world my experience says that the hotel does not close before the last guest leaves the hotel, but i was wrong. We arrived to a buzzing hotel with fewer guests, but the staff did a great job, and we felt very velcome at the hotel. Our son was a star and got all the attention from the staff who went above and beyond in terms of service. The restaurant have a great selection and changes their menus so you dont get tired of the buffet, and even though it is a buffet you still got served drinks at the table, making it more comfortable. The staff is attentive, welcoming and very professional, we had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. But.. there is always a but... the last two days of our stay, the hotel started to close down features without informing the guests.. the entertainment was closed and they had a karaoke night, but bringing a child to this can be a bother for other guests so we wanted to go to the Moonbar, but that was closed even though several was sitting there as they did not want to be at the bar with mostly russian karaoke songs. the last day, before they closed we went to the beach and the always bothered lady in the bar looked annoyed that we came, and they even started dismantling chairs while guests were sitting there! that is not a great service. The first days was a great experience but the last two days, you felt in the way and if you did not want to hva loud music you where confined to your room or try to find other options. Never start to close the hotel and make guest feeling unwelcome even if you are closing for the season - at least inform that there will be changes in order for the guest to make up their minds if they still want to go.

My cousin and I spent a week at the Grand Kaptan Hotel in Alanya at the beginning of October. As a 5-star hotel, I had higher expectations, but the rooms felt quite outdated. Additional charges apply for a quilt and Wi-Fi, though we used eSIMs and can’t comment on the room connection. The lobby Wi-Fi was slow due to high usage.
The pools were enjoyable, but securing a beach sunbed requires an early start. The food was average, with no standout dishes, and the late breakfast often ran out after 10 AM. Drinks were decent, featuring a few cocktails and one local beer.
Also note that the one night you get to book the restaurant, you can only do this on a weeknight. I wasn’t told this, and we ended up missing our chance as I tried to book for a Saturday without knowing. I think this could have been communicated a bit better at check-in.
Shuttle buses to town can be crowded, so it’s wise to arrive early for a seat. We opted for taxis a few times for convenience. Overall, it was a decent stay with no major issues, though some modernisation would be appreciated.

Traveled on our first vacation with our five month old. The staff var excellent and helped us with everything we needed, Mahere and Özlem, Gunnur and Ebru was absolute stars! We have traveled to Alanya before but this hotel really goes the extra mile with their service cleanliness and overall impression. Great varied food at the buffet, great beach with bar and nice rooms with Coffe and minibar. Well worth the money, we will definitely come again!

Huge variety of food to choose from. Only 2 things we thought where they could improve on: 1. Had a spa treatment, massage was good. Just wish I had a option to choose a lady or a man to do my treatment
as I did feel a little uncomfortable. 2. Late breakfast 10am-11am, most of the food is already packed away. But
