Great Family Holiday with Lots for Kids!
We stayed as a family of 10 (5 adults and 5 kids) in August, paying £850 per person. The kids absolutely loved the holiday – from the wide range of attractions to the endless desserts and non-alcoholic cocktails, they were always entertained.
The hotel rooms could use a bit of TLC, as some areas show signs of wear and age. However, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were kept clean, and the outdoor areas were well maintained.
One thing to note is the location – it’s quite remote, with only a couple of local shops nearby. We needed to take a taxi into Alanya, which cost around £10–£12 each way.
On the plus side, the hotel had a private beach with a bar, which was great for both the kids and adults.
Highly recommended for families who aren’t expecting a brand-new, luxury resort but are looking for a fun, relaxed, and friendly place to enjoy time together.

We’ve been coming to the Mediterranean or Aegean regions of Turkey as a family every year for the past 10 years, and this is the first time we’ve ended up in a hotel of such poor quality.
Strengths:
Unlike many other hotels, the food here is actually good and very tasty, even though it’s almost the same meals every day.
The rooms are relatively small but always very clean.
The spa is nice and very well managed.
Weaknesses:
Don’t trust the photos of the pools – there are only two pools, and they are very small. The sun loungers are packed tightly together, and if you don’t wake up by 8 AM, you’re likely not going to get a spot. The two pools simply can’t accommodate the number of hotel guests.
As for the beach, it’s located on the other side of the road and is open to everyone, including people who are not staying at the hotel. This makes it difficult to find a place to sit.
The evening show is really, really poor quality. There isn’t even an amphitheater; the show takes place by the pool, with chairs replacing the sun loungers.
The all-you-can-eat restaurant is too small for the number of tourists staying at the hotel. Sometimes we had to walk around for 15 minutes with our trays just to find a seat.
Overall, the hotel is very small and quite far from the city.
This is definitely not a 5-star hotel — at best, it’s a 3-star.

Fantastic family orientated hotel and relaxing atmosphere. Many day time activities including water polo and volleyball amongst other fun events. Animation team helpful, joyful and very friendly. Lots of events on the evening with each day different show. Couldn’t recommend enough this hotel. Best option for family in the area!

Just had two weeks in July 2025 at the Lumos Deluxe and the hotel is top quality and the rooms overlooking the pools are lovely and the rooms are cleaned every day. We really enjoyed some good laughs with entertainment team Thanks Asim and the ladies on customer relations sorted us a few pleasant surprises for being a return guest which was a nice touch and the head of security was such a nice guy. Overall the Hotel is great, the food goes from good to a mix match of odd dishes but we always found something to eat and there are a few local restaurants when you need a break away from all hustle and bustle of inclusive. For us the only issue we found is the manners of some of the guests from the eastern block countries which was hard to except especially their mind set to queuing for food, as had to bite my lip on more then one occasion as they come across as just rude and ignorant, but us Brits are not always perfect. Overall its a Hotel I would recommend and a few tips to make the experience more enjoyable 1) Make sure you use private transfer back and forth to the hotel as its a long journey and the bus stops at a lot of hotels on route making the journey a lot longer and 2) don't spend any money at the airport as the food is beyond expensive and no exaggeration is probably 3 to 4 times more expensive for KFC, Burger King and Mc Ds so don't feel fleeced like we did on our first visit as we got caught for over £50 from Burger King for two meals and a portion of mozzarella sticks so didn't get caught the 2nd time.
