First time in Turkey and would love to go back. The Star Resort hotel was well appointed through our, lots of separate lounges in the central bar area. The entertainment was down a level away from the bedrooms.
Lovely gardens, nice big pool. We used the smaller indoor pool and had it to ourselves.
Food was excellent with the presentation of the starters and sweets beautifully done.
Bedroom was spacious and cleaned daily and mini bar topped up daily.
Good bus service, stops outside hotel every 20 minutes to Side town and harbour, only €2, a must see for history lovers.
Airport transfer time only 50 minutes, some hotels are upto 2 hrs 20 minutes away.
Good private beach a walk through the gardens. Location was ok but not great, just local shops and hotels.
Quite at time of year as off season. Could imagine it is very busy in summer months.

Family of 3 (2 adults & a 1 child) stayed in a classic room which covered our needs (sleep/wash and dressed). Mini restocked every day & room cleaned every day.
Pros - staff friendly; shout out to Kadir the waiter at the snack bar at night made us feel very welcome. Good selection of drinks & cocktails. Massive variety of food. Ate at the Mexican A La Carte which was lovely & staff were fantastic. On the 15th October my birthday the main restaurant gave me a little cake which was delicious 😋 beach was beautiful.
Cons - Activities team aim everything at the majority of their guests which are German and same with entertainment at night. Divan Bistoro was the only place that was limited for choice of snacks. Trying to get a sun lounger around the pool proved difficult some days, main pool was also cold but didn't stop people using it. The plastic cups at the pool bar and the beach (for takeaway) are needing replaced they are disgusting. We ended buying our own.
Overall, although we had a lovely time we would not come back but would recommend as a first time holiday in Turkey

I honestly don’t have the words to fully describe how special our stay at Side Star Resort, Antalya has been. I stayed here for 8 days with my newborn baby, Harley, who was only 6–7 weeks old, and from the very first moment we arrived, we were treated like family, not guests.
Every single member of staff adored Harley — he quickly became the youngest and most loved guest in the entire hotel. Wherever we went, staff would stop to check on us, smile at him, talk to him, and make sure we had everything we needed. As a mum travelling with such a young baby, that level of care meant more to me than I can explain.
Nothing was ever too much trouble. Whether it was helping me carry things, making sure I was comfortable, checking if Harley needed anything, or simply offering kindness and reassurance, the staff went above and beyond every single day. I never once felt alone — I felt supported, protected, and genuinely cared for.
What truly touched my heart was the day we left. After 8 days, the staff had become such a big part of our experience that saying goodbye was emotional. So many staff members came over to say goodbye to me and Harley, wishing us a safe flight home and telling me how much they looked forward to seeing Harley grow and hopefully welcoming us back in the future. That moment alone shows the kind of hotel this is — full of warmth, humanity, and love.
This wasn’t just a holiday. It was a healing, comforting, unforgettable experience at a time in my life when kindness mattered more than anything. Side Star Resort didn’t just give us a place to stay — they gave us memories, safety, and a sense of belonging.
I will never forget how you treated me and my baby. Thank you for loving Harley, for supporting me, and for making us feel so deeply welcome. We will carry this experience in our hearts forever — and we will be back.

Having read all the positive reviews, our experience was no different. Excellent facilities for all weather conditions including heated outdoor/indoor pool, spa access, gym, games room, variety of food daily ( healthy options!!!),our kids were excited to spend time at kids club. They always talked very fondly of Aysha- thank you Aysha I hope your work is recognised/rewarded. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back in April, hidden gem:-)

Recent solo 5 night winter break, mid December still warm. This is a great hotel with wonderful staff and facilities, nice rooms and very good restaurant and service. 5 minutes walk to a very nice grounds garden and beach area. Animation team active, all staff very friendly and helpful. Not much immediately out side the hotel but a bazaar 15 min walk. Well equipped gym and games room, pool area catches the sun well.Thanks to all the staff 🙌 from Glen. x
