I liked the pancakes, the gyros (and the guy who makes them is really funny). The pizza was okay, although some toppings were low quality. The beach is perfect. I even liked that I had to wake up before 6 a.m. to get a good sunbed in front of the sea.
P. from reception was, or at least tried to be, very helpful. The bed was good and the location is good too. So yes, there are positives – this hotel could be amazing with good staff and better food.
We asked for early check-in because we were traveling with a child. Since check-out is at 11:00, I assumed we might get a room sometime after that. Unfortunately, the reception manager (D) was rude. In the end, we received our room at 14:45, just 15 minutes before the official check-in time (15:00). This didn’t feel very client-friendly, but sadly it was only the beginning.
The room is renovated, but honestly, it feels like a joke. You cannot properly darken the room. There is a vinyl floor placed over old tiles, which feels cheap.
The food is simply bad – and it would be bad even for half of this price. I mostly ate fruit, pizza and gyros, as those were the safest options. There is fish every day, but you never know what kind of fish it is, and it always comes with some sauce (maybe mayo or mustard), but in any case, it is not good.
Every day there is a long queue for pancakes, and you are only allowed to ask for one per person. So if you are a family of three, everyone has to stand in line together. One day, while everyone was waiting, a young guy from reception came and said the boss wanted a special double pancake. Everyone had to wait while the lady prepared a special pancake for him. I don’t understand why management can’t wait their turn like everyone else. Here, the paying guests come after the manager.
One more serious issue: there is a cat on the property that scratches children. Our child was scratched, and the receptionist did not seem surprised at all. Two days later, another child was scratched by the same cat. No one seemed to care.

I loved every second of the stay in Pegasos Deluxe Beach Hotel. The staff members were all super friendly and helpful. The food was just excellent - a lot of variety and tasted great. The room was spacious, clean, modern and overlooking the beach. The resort offers a range of amenities for both relaxation and recreation. The outside gym with sea view was a blast! Evening animations were so much fun. Wi-Fi throughout the property was reliable and reasonably fast. Shout out to Dimitris - so wonderful and so helpful.

We stayed at the Pegasos hotel in the middle of September
The room was small, but clean and had everything needed. Shampoo had a lovely smell and hair conditioner provided by the hotel really smoothed my unruly hair 😅 the dryer at the balcony could he a bit bigger, as it was difficult to fit there two beach towels and bathing suits. Also, I believe changing room TVs to smartTVs is worth considering, as youtube/netflix access in hotels is becoming a standard now.
Common areas like reception, main bar or pools are really beautiful now! Having seen the videos from last year or two, we can see an enormous change, and for the better. It is stunningly gorgeous now.
The main restaurant was clean and the staff was really nice and friendly. Food variety could be a bit better, but morning omellettes were a must for us - simply delicious! Pizzas, pitas and crepes served by the pool were amazing as well - in fact, we loved them so much we often chose them instead of lunch in the main restaurant. Both pool and main bar were also really nice, the staff was great.
Food in Elia restaurant was generally good, starters, salads and desserts were simply amazing. Main course was a bit worse, we both chose steaks and they were unfortunately cold. I feel like there aren't enough waiters and waitresses here and that caused the issue.
Pools were really clean and pretty, water was not really warm though. Sunbeds are really comfy by the pool, little less by the beach, but they are also nice. Sun umbrellas, both by the pool and on the beach, are too small though, it's really difficult to have some shade on your sunbed. The beach is very pretty, with amazing views and wonderfully warm sea. I do recommend having swimming shoes though, but you can easily buy them in the nearby shopping centre or somewhere in Faliraki.
The garden of the hotel is stunningly beautiful, with many flowers and plants. We loved it! Common bathrooms are also clean and well-maintained.
Evening animations at the hotel were really enjoyable here, every performance was amazing and really worth seeing.
The hotel is outside of the town of Faliraki, but the bus stop just in front of the hotel makes up for it. Tickets for buses are pretty cheap, so I definitely recommend traveling through the island that way.
Overall, we deeply enjoyed our stay in the Pegasos hotel. The views, sea and amazing staff made our stay here a dream come true. Thanks to all of the people working at the hotel, amazing job!

Right lets start.
Reception. 1st class service from check in/out, bus times, late check out info. Always smiling.
Food. Not one bad thing to say about the food. Breakfast had everything you could ask for even onion rings !! Lunch and dinner catered for all foodies. Plenty of fish and different meats. Salads were lovely. Loved the hot grill area that served pizza and sonething special each day wether it was giant prawns cooked in ouzo or liver that was excellent.
Then there was the poolside pizza and gyros on offer. Absolutely superb.
Drinks. You could have everythibg from cocktails to large measure and i mean large measure shorts with a mixer. Lager was Vap and mythros and they were just right during the hot days.
Rooms. Great view from the 7th floor although a little nervous sitting on the balcony as its a long way down when you look over the edge. Rooms cleaned everyday and to a high standard. Thank you.
Other facilities. Beach towels were provided, shower rooms available after check out.
Entertainment. Something on offer all day -aqua aerobics etc.
The small water park is a great idea.
Loved the cushioned sun loungers by the 3 pools. So comfortable.
Theres more that i have probably missed.
The staff were always happy and smiling and would great you where ever you went.
Its a big hotel so could get busy during peak time but going in october meant it was less crowded.
If you want a relaxing break with a chilled atmosphere but in a fantastic hotel then come here.
Definately returning.

We were in the hotel at 17th from October until 23rd. Room 320. We have to say this is one of our best holidays. ALL staff is very friendly. I was positively surprised. We stayed in few 5star Greek hotels and staff here is simply amazing.
Room-small but new and very clean. Hotel cleaners made great job!
Reception always helpful-especially Regina and Nicholas.
Restaurant-nice food, good selection
Only coffee was Horrible…it should be changed because it’s a star hotel….
Pizza delicious, crepes nice, gyros bar poor.
We used Elia restaurant once. Food delicious. We were served by lovely gentleman with grey hair. He was so professional. I recommend everyone to try 2400 wine-so nice.
Beach bar great. Boys very friendly and kind.
SPA-Maria was wonderful with such a great knowledge. She recommended me 2 treatments. Face-ice mask and Cretan massage. It was superb. All the girls so nice.
ONE thing to change is FAR to loud. Staff room next door where staff having argument in Ukrainian language or you can hear people coughing next door.Really bad.
VIEWS are beautiful,BEACH clean, WATER clean, Overall HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
