A Heartfelt Thank You to the Amazing Team at Evita Resort
Our stay at Evita Resort in Faliraki was unforgettable, not only because of the beautiful facilities, delicious food, and endless activities for both adults and children, but because of the extraordinary people who work there.
During our stay, my partner drank far too much and behaved in a completely unacceptable way. It was an embarrassing and difficult situation, and one that could easily have ended very differently.
Instead of reacting with anger or simply asking us to leave, Despina and the entire management team handled the situation with a rare combination of professionalism, firmness, and genuine compassion. They took the matter seriously, set clear boundaries, and addressed it appropriately, but they also showed remarkable understanding and humanity.
What touched me most was the way they treated me. In a moment when I felt overwhelmed and vulnerable, they looked after me almost as if I were part of their own family. Rather than distancing themselves from us, they upgraded our room and continued to treat us with kindness and respect. Their response felt less like that of hotel staff and more like that of caring parents who know when to be strict and when to show empathy.
That is something you cannot teach in hospitality school. It comes from character.
Evita Resort is a wonderfully maintained resort with excellent amenities, great entertainment, and very good food. But what truly makes it exceptional is its people. This is a team that genuinely cares about its guests, not only when everything is going well, but also when guests make mistakes and behave like complete idiots.
Thank you, Despina, and thank you to every member of the Evita Resort team, for reminding us what true hospitality looks like. Your professionalism was impressive. Your kindness was unforgettable.
We will always remember it with gratitude. ❤️

Fero was genuinely one of the best parts of our holiday. From the very first day until the end of our 8-day stay, he made us feel welcome, looked after, and always brought such a positive energy. He is incredibly friendly, professional, and goes above and beyond for guests.
He was an amazing entertainer throughout the trip and made every day more enjoyable. He also took great care of us during the club night and made sure everything was smooth, fun, and stress-free. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him.
What really stands out is how kind and attentive he is. He clearly cares about the guests and takes pride in making everyone have the best experience possible. People like Fero make a holiday truly memorable.
Thank you, Fero, for making our trip so special. You are a credit to the hotel, and we hope to see you again someday.

Excellent clean hotel with marvellous staff.
Costas looking after us in the dining room and Maria on block 600 - fantastic and thank you.
Food varied and good swimming pools but cold in April!
Weather was lovely but you could get some light rain
Location a bit far from Faliraki main town and beach. We rented a car for the week which was perfect to explore the island.

We stayed here for one week and overall had a good experience, with some clear strengths and a few areas that could be improved.
Food & All-Inclusive:
One of the strongest aspects of the hotel. Breakfast offers a wide and consistent selection (English breakfast items, eggs, cold cuts, pastries, fruit, etc.). Lunch and dinner are even better – varied daily with plenty of choice, so it never feels repetitive. The snack bar (pizza, gyros, hot dogs, salads, desserts) is also very useful, meaning you can basically eat throughout the day.
Drinks & Service:
The bar service was good overall, with a decent selection of drinks. A special mention goes to Olsi at the bar, who works incredibly hard and truly stands out – he deserves real credit for his effort and attitude.
Facilities & Location:
The hotel offers many services on-site (car/quad rental, excursions, massage, etc.), which is very convenient. Transport is easy – e-scooters are available right outside, and there is also a tourist train stop at the hotel. There is daily entertainment for both kids and adults in the evenings.
The presence of peacocks and cats adds a unique atmosphere. While this may feel unusual to some guests, it seems to be part of the local culture and we respected that. It is worth noting that cats can freely move around the property and may also enter the restaurant area.
Rooms & Comfort:
The room size was adequate and included standard amenities (AC, TV, fridge, hairdryer), but there were some downsides. There was a noticeable cigarette smell on arrival, the fridge was quite noisy, and the door was difficult to open and close. The shower was also not very practical (water spraying in different directions from the showerhead and no small holder or shelf for shower gels/ shampoo).
Cleanliness & Hygiene:
Cleaning felt somewhat inconsistent at times, which affected the overall comfort. We observed that during cleaning the same bucket of water was used to mop multiple rooms (including ours and a neighbouring room) without being changed, which raised hygiene concerns for us.
While the food was generally very good, we occasionally noticed signs that cooking surfaces might not always be fully cleaned between different foods (e.g. unusual taste). This wasn’t a major issue for us, but guests with allergies may want to be cautious.
Staff (mixed experience):
Most staff were friendly and helpful, however during breakfast there was one blonde, long-haired staff member (we believe her name was Rozita, or similar) whose attitude felt uncomfortable at times (facial expressions, appearing to talk about guests while they were eating).
Overall:
This is a good value all-inclusive hotel with excellent food, strong service in many areas, and plenty of facilities and we would definitely come back again in the future.

As a group of 6 that turned up at 8pm on a Saturday night we were told our rooms wasn't ready due to fumes!!! no apology so we was shipped out to different hotels not the best start.
Arrived back Sunday morning where reception apologised for the misunderstanding of double booking which they could have just said that Saturday night instead of lying.
3 days in we were in room 516 and the shower door came clean off the rails and smashed everywhere luckily we wasn't hurt just a few grazes husband went to reception who sent him back with an accident form and 2 plasters followed by maintenance men and 2 housekeepers.
No shower door for the rest of our stay no apology no check on our welfare nothing from them when I chased this up the next 2 days was just given towels for the floor. I feel the accident form was just for show and lying in a shredder somewhere.
Entertainment and bar staff really good and to be honest the best thing about this hotel, housekeeping good and its a clean hotel.
Food aways cold in the resturant no matter if you're in early or late not much choice either but could be because we were approaching the end of season, however Snack bar was really good gyros and pizza were lovely.
Pool good and always managed to get sunbeds.
You get what you pay for I suppose and was realy nice to see the peacocks wandering about too.
Wouldn't class this as a 4 star hotel more a 3.
