The staff are brilliant and really try their best to make your experience better. The pools are great, as are the water slides, albeit with very limited opening times. The food is usual for an all-inclusive, mediocre at best. The drinks are shocking but tolerable; I got by with just rum and coke. Entertainment whilst we were there was none existent and catered solely to the Russian tourist.
For the price we paid, it was worth it to visit Sharm, but I personally wouldn't be returning to this hotel.

Just come back from our 10 day holiday at Parrotel Aqua.
10 mins from the airport which is good (so i thought)
You arrive at a Russia style checkpoint to enter the grounds of the hotel.
But when you get into reception which was amazing and clean (highlight of the holiday)
Got taken to our room which was really dated and needs a bit of money thrown at it.
The AC had a mind of it's own.
The bath had skin flakes from the people previous but beds were ok.
Entertainment.
Dotted around the grounds they had boards saying what the entertainment was on that night, all I see was a belly dancer and that was on the day we arrived.
We should have had something different every night but all they had was kids club the whole 10 days we were there (big disappointment)
Food.
Couldn't really call it food as breakfast was last night's left overs. With omelette thrown into the mix but in the English part Jimmy one of the waiters was amazing. 90% of the time we had McDonald's as we were leaving either still hungry or Deli Belly.
Drinks.
Yea ok not bad.
Water park.
Considering they advertise themselves as a aqua park they only run certain parts of the park part of the day but at least the water was kinda clean.
The beach.
Its about 15 minutes walk across the road past what I assume is the sister hotel which looked 10 times better than aqua.
But then you got hundreds of people trying to fit in one area of the beach because of all the rocks in the water.
Anyway back to the cleaner. Yes he was a nice bloke until the end....
I had about £100 left in Egypt money and I was going to give it to him as a thank you. I said we will go for breakfast and I want to see you.
Ok he said then 5 minutes later he is phoning me on my mobile asking where I am and where the money is. That is a big no in my book and how the hell did he get my number only to find out reception had given him my number.
Anyway this is a trip me or my children will never forget and definitely not going back

4/5 Stars – Great Service, but the Property Needs a Refresh I’ve given this hotel 4 stars primarily for the staff, but there are several areas where Parrotel Aqua Park Hotel needs to "up its game" to truly live up to its rating.The Positives:Check-in was incredibly smooth. Michael at the front office was fantastic—very polite, professional, and courteous. Similarly, the housekeeping staff were pleasant and did a great job keeping things tidy. The hotel has good facilities, including a spa, swimming pool, and a gym (though the gym was unfortunately closed during our visit).
The Rooms & Maintenance: Our rooms were decent but definitely dated. Specifically, the toilets are in need of repair. A major frustration was the maintenance work starting at 8 am right in front of our room while we were trying to sleep. For a 4-star property, it didn’t quite hit the mark and felt like it was lacking the "premium" feel, though the potential is certainly there.Dining & All-Inclusive: The food was average at best, seemingly catered mostly toward Russian and Egyptian tastes. We found the All-Inclusive package to be a waste of money; the alcohol felt cheap, with watered-down spirits and brands of beer we’d never heard of. We ended up eating out for four nights because we couldn't face the buffet anymore. At £552 for 4 nights per person, having to pay for extra meals and drinks elsewhere didn't feel like great value.
Service Tweak Needed: While most staff were great, the pool staff handling the towels were quite rude. They need to remember that tourists are their "bread and butter"—a more gentle and welcoming attitude would go a long way.
Final Verdict:Not a bad stay, but it needs work. I’d suggest paying a little bit more to look elsewhere, or only stay here if you're prepared for a more basic experience than the 4-star label suggests.

I’m currently staying here with my wife and 9 year old son.
The hotel is clean, rooms are ok and staff are helpful.
That’s where the good stuff ends. There is a clear shortage of staff, the staff are friendly but most of the time they are working solo. One barman for the full Aquapark including collecting glasses.
Food is below average, we have resorted to eating out at night.
It seems the hotel is catered for Russians, British are given different coloured wrist bands.
Beer and spirits are below average. The beer is poured from a warm bottle into a tiny plastic cup or coffee cup. If you are coming here bring a decent travel cup. Draft is available at the aqua park but only seem to be on for an hour or 2 a day.
I won’t come back to this hotel or chain of hotels but I will definitely visit Sharm again. It’s a beautiful place.

Great value for money, very attentive staff, food could be improved. Gimil at the towel hut was brilliant saved our beds every day, very funny guy. Mohammed who cleaned our room was amazing, great towel art. Mohammed and khalid at the pool bar also great. Jimmy runs the restaurants and will accommodate any needs you may have. There are more luxurious hotels in egypt but if you're looking for a budget break I would highly recommend
