We were on our family holiday in here and we spent here about 7 days. The rooms are quite big and nice. We checked in after 12PM with no problems whatsoever. The mini-bar is for free and there's a lot to choose from, there was beer, soda etc. The location is nice, it is on the hill, so it's a little bit hard to get to your room. The bar in the hall next to the reception is nice. You can get a drink at the bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and get a tasty snack from pastry shop nearby. There's an arcade right next to the reception. The hotel is located in about 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel, but you can take a scheduled shuttle straight from the parking lot next to the hotel. Right under the hotel there's a bus stop that can take you to the Kardamena, Kos and airport. We liked it and surely we will visit you one more time!

Room: We had a room I think its called Superior with Pool. It has much space and a balcony with direct access to a shared pool. The room contains a minibar, which was refilled for free every 2 days and a save, which is also free of use. The bath is also big enough, but with an old-school bathtub. We had not a single ant in the room like other reviews state, but the untight door is true, so you can hear people walking by. The bed is okay.
Service and Food: This category is a big big plus. Not only the staff is very friendly, but also many services are inclusive, like a shuttle to the beach. At the beach - I couldnt belive it at first - is also a bar, a Gyros-Counter and a Pizza-Counter - everything for free. At the hotel you also have a bar and an icecream & snack counter. The restaurant itself offers various food at the buffet. It is all good but there are not many differences between lunch/dinner or even other days. I expected a bit more variety regarding fish. Sometimes the buffet could be a bit warmer.
Location: The whole place belongs to the MITSIS Group, so there are a couple of hotels but no seafront with cafés/shops etc. This is mostly integrated in each hotel. You will need to take the bus/car, if you want to visit other places at the island.

This 4 star all inclusive hotel is not far off the mark.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed with bath/shower.
The room though however had a distinct lack of power outlets with the necessity to unplug something to use any personal items. The bathroom has a hair dryer but no other power outlet.
Food quality was good with some changes throughout our stay (12 nights).
There is light entertainment most nights.
Free shuttle to beach and back regularly.
Public bus to Kos town stops at the Hotel.
Staff were all very helpful and pleasant.
The property is clean and spread out.
There are lots of amenities for free all described in promotional literature.
Even though this Hotel is a 4 star Hotel it attracts the Governments luxury tourist taxes for most of the peak season , so factor that into your costs along with the type of room you need or require.
All.in all a very pleasant stay at Mitsis Family Village.
One last thing , this a family resort so expect to see lots families , so if you are looking for a quieter option Mitsis have many options in the area.

An Exceptional Experience! The Friendliest Staff We've Ever Met.
We always have a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax on a Greek island. The entire team provides truly exceptional service; the staff are the friendliest we have ever met and constantly go out of their way to accommodate every guest requirement.
The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the hotel itself is beautifully situated with a really nice view. It's conveniently located, just a short 10-minute drive from Kardamaina, Kos.
The food was a major highlight! You can always find something delicious to eat or snack on, and the quality is outstanding—honestly, some of the best hotel food we've ever encountered.
It's also a perfect place for families and highly recommended for those traveling with kids.

Exceeded Expectations—A Relaxing Family Escape
We’ve just returned from a 5-night stay and genuinely wish we could have extended. This hotel surprised us in the best way.
We’ve stayed in plenty of 5-star hotels over the years, and while this one may not have the same polish on paper, the experience was just as good—if not better in some ways.
Yes, the rooms are a little dated, but both the Swim-Out Maisonette and the Standard Mountain View were fantastic: spacious, cool with excellent air conditioning, blackout blinds for a restful sleep, comfy beds, and a great shower.
The buffet food was consistently tasty. It’s not à la carte, but there was always something fresh and enjoyable, with plenty of variety.
Staff were outstanding—friendly, helpful, and constantly working to keep everything running smoothly. Their energy and kindness made a real difference.
There were always plenty of sunbeds and shaded areas available, both by the pools and on the beach, which made relaxing effortless.
The location is remote, but the local bus to the village is quick, reliable, and just €2 per adult—easy to navigate.
Before arriving, I was anxious after reading mixed reviews, but we’ve been thoroughly impressed. A lovely, peaceful break that exceeded our expectations.
