Our overall stay at Akti Beach Club was very enjoyable, and we had a great holiday. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food was good, and most of the staff were kind, hardworking, and welcoming.
The bartenders in the adults-only area deserve special recognition. They were outstanding—always smiling, friendly, professional, and genuinely made every visit to the bar enjoyable. They are a real asset to this hotel.
Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment of our stay was the hotel manager. Instead of making guests feel welcome, she often created an unnecessarily tense atmosphere. Her attitude came across as cold, overly strict, and at times even disrespectful. We witnessed her criticizing not only employees but also guests over minor issues, which was surprising and unpleasant to see in a hotel that otherwise provides such a relaxing environment.
Good management should make guests feel comfortable and valued, not stressed or unwelcome. It is a real shame because the rest of the team worked hard to create a positive experience, while one person’s attitude stood in complete contrast to their efforts.
Despite this, we genuinely enjoyed our holiday thanks to the excellent staff and would happily return—hopefully with a different management approach in the future.

Great rooms, housekeeping outstanding! Great selection of food. Wonderful facilities for all children. Even when fully booked, sunbeds always available. Swim up/shared pools were lovely. Splashpool a great attraction. Cocktails good, depending on who made them. Majority of staff were welcoming and always smiling. Beach lovely but water not child friendly as large shelf.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Akti Palace and could not be happier with the entire experience.
A special thank you to the Remarc International animation team, who were always friendly, energetic, professional, and made every day more enjoyable. Their enthusiasm and dedication created a wonderful atmosphere throughout our holiday.
We would also like to highly recommend the tennis coach, Salvador Salema. His lessons were excellent, professional, engaging, and suitable for all levels. His passion for tennis and positive attitude made every session both fun and rewarding.
The food was outstanding in every restaurant we visited, including Akti Palace, Akti Beach, and all the other dining venues. The quality, variety, and service were consistently excellent.
The hotel and its surroundings were spotless, beautifully maintained, and filled with stunning flowers and gardens. The views are breathtaking, the weather was wonderful, and the sea water was crystal clear and absolutely amazing. There are plenty of colourful fish to see while swimming, making the experience even more special.
The only small drawback is that the beach has some pebbles and stones, but with suitable water shoes you can enjoy the sea comfortably and have a fantastic swim.
Overall, everything was impeccable. A beautiful island, excellent facilities, outstanding staff, delicious food, and unforgettable experiences. We highly recommend Akti Palace and look forward to returning in the future! 🌟🌴🎾🌊

Me and family have just got home honestly we all had the best holiday. The hotel was clean and the staff were all amazing, couldn't fault it all. After reading so many negative reviews I'm confused? All the guest we had the pleasure meeting on our holiday were as impressed as we were with the hotel and their facilities and how friendly the staff were. The entertainment team all work so hard and go out their way to speak to you and just are genuinely a lovely bunch of youngsters. Please ignore the bad reviews.We will return for sure in the near future.

We recently stayed here for a week with our 2 1 year olds and what a fantastic week, staying early May meant the temperature was around 23/24 which was ideal for young toddlers. The food was good, would have liked more greek gyros but they did have them a couple of times through the week. The Chinese station and sushi stations were fantastic. The rooms were very very modern and clean. Service was great, evening entertainment could have been a bit better but the animation team were fantastic with everyone throughout the day! The hotel is a 15 minute scooter, 5 minutes taxi or 45 minute walk into Kardamena, if I were to visit Kos for a third time I'd certainly look to stay nearer to Kos Town which was far superior to Kardamena in my opinion.
