Molotov
Food variety was a little dissapointing, and also no shrimp served anywhere.
My room was on the ground level right above the barbeque where the grilled meat and sometimes fish every single day, so imagine going out on the balcony. I was covered in smoke, my clothes smelled like fish.
Also from my bathroom came a strong stench of urine all the way to my bed. After each shower, water would leak out in the hallway getting my socks wet.
Even though i asked them to relocate me twice, nothing came of it! First time i asked they had no room, and the second time the next day they still had no room but promised to take care of the smell... Guess what? Havent heard from them again. So maybe skip this place for now.
The cabbies promised me that in earlier years it was better but this year a lot of other guests complained too.
Only positives,
Service staff was very friendly and the ac worked fine.

Our emotions about Michell Hotel are mixed.
Let’s start with the negatives:
-Our room was completely dirty from the beginning to the end! Bedside tables, walls, floors, carpet – it felt like we had received a room that had not been cleaned at all. On the 5th day, we asked what we needed to do to get the floor cleaned. The answer was, "That's basic." Sadly, we never saw clean floors during our 11-day stay. The bedside tables and walls also remained dirty until the end.
-On the second day, we found a huge, hairy spider in the room – huge at least by European standards. The room attendant was even more afraid of the spider than we were and pushed it behind the wall trim. We were told that someone would deal with it later, but of course, it was never handled in our sight. They offered to switch our room twice, but each time the new room was significantly worse.
-In the middle of our vacation, the cleaner somehow managed to tear down the blackout curtain. What did they do? Threw it on the couch. We spoke about the issue and were promised it would be taken care of. But when we returned to our room at midnight – nothing had been done.
-The bathroom has no ventilation!
-We made it to the hotel beach only once. The beach was extremely dirty. It’s impossible to go into the water without proper footwear. This should absolutely be mentioned in the hotel description.
-At the pool area, there are not enough sun loungers and umbrellas. You might return from a swim only to find that someone has taken your umbrella, and you’re left sitting in 40-degree heat under direct sunlight.
-Next to the pool is someone’s private house with chickens. When the wind blows the wrong way, the smell of chicken manure is overwhelming.
-The average hotel guest is a rude Russian, which is generally unpleasant for a typical European guest.
-The food also falls into the negative category. Sure, you could fill your stomach with rice and chicken, but we didn’t get anything particularly tasty. We also saw bugs in the fresh salad multiple times.
-The hotel staff, especially one receptionist, didn’t speak English at all. It was quite difficult to find someone who spoke proper English.
-I intentionally did not mention earlier that I speak Turkish quite well. It was quite ugly to hear the reception staff talking badly about us in Turkish. But that just gives me more to write in this feedback about what this hotel is really like. ;) We vacation in Turkey 3-4 times a year, and this was by far the worst hotel we’ve stayed in.
But there were some positives as well!
+We paid an extra €60 at check-in and got a room with an amazing view!
+The animation team was great, especially Woody – we really liked him!
+The restaurant staff was excellent. Dirty dishes were cleared quickly, and drinks were served fast.
Now the big question – would we return?
Our 11-night package cost €2500. Definitely not worth it at that price! If we could get the same experience for €1000 for two people, then maybe.
A warm recommendation to the hotel:
Please clean up the dirt and filth properly and keep it clean! Teach your cleaning staff how to clean. Teach your reception staff English and how to communicate politely with guests! Fix up your beach area. Add more sun loungers and umbrellas to the pool area. Improve the selection and cleanliness in the restaurant!
Believe me – you do have potential and clients. But if you continue like this, sadly, people will stop coming.

.I've arrived at 23:40 at the Hotel and at the reception desk stuff told me that my room it's not ready! How it's possible. The long way to the Hotel (around 8 hours)and here nobody cares about the guests which are hungry and tired. No choice of food at the late dinner.Only maize soupe and bread. I was waiting for my room more than 40 minutes.

I’m currently on day 7 of a 10-day stay at Michell Hotel, and unfortunately, the experience has fallen short of what’s expected from a 5-star property. Despite reaching out to reception twice, my room has not been cleaned even once. Basic items like towels, toilet paper, and water are only provided if a tip is left. The information on travel sites and Google is quite misleading. Very unpleasant experience.

Definitely not 5*. Sleeping under towels, no WiFi in the rooms. Dirty as hell, towels are not changed, room was given to us with dirty floor which was not cleaned one during our 10 day stay. Had to go down to recentiop to ask for bins emptied, towels changed or toilette paper given.
This hotel would be lucky to have 3* in Europe.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
