Great family based hotel. Loads to do. As for the food, think of a level in your mind as you read this. Got one? Well stand on that level and you’ll see the level the food at this hotel is on. All my children had lots of fun based fun. That fun included swimming, sliding, drinking, eating (see that cringey level thing a few sentences back) laughing, watching, jumping, dancing and more swimming.
All the staff were extremely helpful and nothing was an issue. Rooms were clean and room like. Plenty of light switches. The AC in the room was very quiet which, for me is a real boon.
(Look up when you’re on your mind level by the way. Not down)

We recently stayed at Hotel Jupiter Albufeira and overall had a lovely experience. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained. We really liked the rooms – they were spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The hotel amenities, including the pools and bars, were excellent. Drinks were great too, with a good selection and friendly bar staff.
However, a few things could be improved. While the food was generally tasty and fresh, the variety of hot dishes was a bit limited and became repetitive after a few days. Also, water was not always replenished during our stay, which was a small but noticeable inconvenience. In the bathroom, basic toiletries were provided but no body balm/lotion, which you would expect in a 4-star+ hotel.
One concerning issue was the behavior of one of the entertainment staff members. During one of the animation activities, he used language that was inappropriate and disrespectful towards women. We feel this is something the hotel management should seriously address to ensure a welcoming environment for all guests.
Despite these points, we still enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back – especially for the clean rooms, friendly atmosphere, and great amenities.

We stayed at this hotel looking at the reviews of it being a 5 star hotel. This is not a 5 star hotel the food is basic and can tell it is cheap products. The bedrooms were decent but the kids bed is very poor my daughter could not sleep on the sofa bed and had to sleep with me and my wife for 10 nights. We raised our concerns but they just stated they will issue extra bed linen.
The most disappointing thing was that we ordered a cab from the front desk to bring my daughter horse riding expecting it to be a standard cab service. The gentleman at the desk asked me to pay him 16 euros to the destination which I thought was strange. I thought this is what they do at the hotel. After we went horse riding we then asked the horse riding place to order a return cab to the hotel after the day out. We paid 8 euros for a standard cab company which was the correct amount from the hotel. i was very upset as the hotel was making a profit on all cab services as we had to pay double the amount. I raised my concerns to the desk operative and he said they have a private company they use themselves but he did not make me aware of this. I then spoke to the manager and she said she would come back to me but didn’t bother.
This is the first hotel I have experienced this in after paying thousands to stay at this hotel it was very disappointing to see this. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

We have just got back from 10 days and I can’t fault the hotel, the food, the staff or the cleanliness of the rooms. It was all brilliant.
As a tip for anyone thinking of booking here with a family I’d suggest going for a superior room if your kids don’t sleep well on a sofa bed, this was the only downside for us but it was our fault for not checking the set up.

Overall I wouldn’t classify this hotel as a 5 star hotel. The food is the worst I had in my life - tough meat, gelatin deserts, they even made a simple rice taste bad. 4 out of 10 people had diarrhea.
Paying for playing billiard is absurd in an all inclusive hotel, and same goes for the limited time in the spa area (sauna, heated pool etc. are limited for 1h a day and this is only after we paid for the “extra” all inclusive pack.
All the service in the pools are self service so you have no waiters. The decoration is army feeling with very simple decoration.
On the good side the rooms are big and comfy, kept cleaned and there are many stuff for kids. The entertainment team was amazing and very friendly, lots of activities for kids and teenagers with daily shows. That was honestly the only good part of the trip.
