Did not enjoy our stay at all. We booked the hotel based off the pictures and the 4 star rating it had. However, when you get there it’s nothing like it. Rooms dated, not clean just for context my bedside lamp was hanging off the wall. The shower was old and basic and the toilet leaked the whole time and the food in general was terrible. The staff down in the bar near reception were all rude and seemed like they couldn’t be bothered serving us. There are a few occasions but there was one guy who always just chucked the water bottles on the bar instead of giving it me and they never actually acknowledged I was even there. They also tell you there’s a snack bar but that just doesn’t exist. They also have a sign where you can only grab 2 drinks per person however they allowed some to grab 4 or more at once. We went to try and use the water park but the water wasn’t running on the slide and there were not staff there to tell us what was going on. My partners dad complained about the AC not working (bearing in mind it was 40 degrees) and they did nothing to fix it and they completely ignored his complaint. By the end of the holiday all of us got food poisoning and couldn’t wait to leave.

If you're considering a family trip or a relaxing getaway, don't let the negative reviews hold you back—this place is a gem! We had a fantastic time from start to finish. The resort offers great value for money with a wide variety of tasty food options and drinks always flowing (yes, even if the wine isn't top-shelf, there's plenty of it!). The staff truly go above and beyond—they work incredibly hard and play a huge role in making the experience special. If I could tip every one of them, I would! The entertainment was delightful, and the pools were a big hit—perfect for both kids and adults. As for comments about it not being “English-friendly,” we found that to be complete nonsense. We had no issues at all. We’re a well-traveled family of five with three girls, and this trip made Morocco feel extra memorable. If you find a good deal—go for it! Chances are, you’ll love it just as much as we did.

Recommend this hotel…It’s outside of Marrakesh (however transfers into the city are available from the hotel - see photo). Rooms are basic, but clean & beds were comfortable. Each room as a small outside area/balcony. The rooms are called ‘raids’ & have an open space in the centre. The food is fresh & varied - bottled water is available. There are outside ovens also so be sure to look outside for your meals too! The entertainment team are welcoming & friendly. The hotel has 2 pools, one for adults only. There is no ATM at this hotel, but they will exchange money. (We’d recommend using the ATM just before you leave the airport as you do not pay a fee) - there is also a ATM at the sister hotel a short walk away. At the sister hotel you can also use their pool & waterpark. (See photo). Excursions are available, including the Atlas Mountains/sand buggies/camel rides etc. Spa is recommended - go to the actual building to book as they have more offers - the main building only offers spa packages. Single massages can be booked.

Beautiful grounds,exceptional views of the mountains on a clear day. Big apartments. Lots of swimming pools and water features, very green. Very safe with security gates and plenty old boys discretely positioned to keep an eye on things. The excursion team is exceptionally helpful. I would advise to use them as opposed to going it alone (outside the hotel it's not so safe) . The food is the best I've had at an all inclusive. It's princeply geared towards the French but English is also spoken. This is good because the French choose to argue about a lack of bread ,ignoring all the mutton, back legs of beef and giant turkey 🍗 legs on offer. The entertainment team are very hard working and do a lot of chatting with guests and dancing with grandmother's and grandchildren during the live entertainment. The bar staff are good, the groundsmen and army of cleaners and cooks are also brilliant. The whole team is a credit to the King of Morocco and the generation he has brought up. The workers at Valeria Dar Atlas Hotel all show the best side of the Moroccan people regardless of their role. The establishment is a credit to Morocco and how Morocco presents itself to the outside world.

If you're looking for a good family holiday, this is a great place. Good selection of food, but my younger son struggled with the food, but he is a fussy eater. There are lots of things to get involved in during the day.The entertainment team is very friendly and always comes around chatting to everyone, and get you involved in games if you want.At night, the events they put on are good. Bars is always busy, but it doesn't take long to get served. Bottles of water are always available and time of the day. Transport is available from hotel to main centre Marrakech but needs booked.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. Only it was pretty warm at night in the room. Maybe it was because we were on the second floor and on the corner I don’t know. The food was great one of the best I ever had in an all inclusive hotel. The staff was really nice and always going that extra mile to help you. The aqua park was amazing so many pools and slides! Also the pools at the hotel were good. Only thing about that was they need to repair the bottom at the pool from the hotel because it is coming off. We are certainly coming back and will stay longer the next time.

I am currently staying at this hotel and am experiencing the worst holiday ever. I am failing to see the 5 star standard. I have changed rooms because of the presence of insect eggs and infestation of ants, hair in my bed on bobbled sheets so I couldn't sleep in the bed... The new room is also infested with ants and now have found a couple of silverfish.. The maintenance in the room is poor with lots of cracks granting easy access for bugs. The hotel is slow to act on anything. The food is not great, kids are left unsupervised to pick with hands but the worst is there are no labels on the items with regards to allergens. My daughter who has a severe nut allergy has been scared to eat anything. There are not enough serving spoons provided so cross contamination is at a dangerous level. If you have any food allergy issues, do not stay here. If you don't mind sharing your room with bugs, you will be fine!

An unforgettable stay at Aqua Resort Marrakech! From the moment we arrived, everything was simply amazing. The water rides were thrilling and perfect for both kids and adults — endless fun all day long! Breakfast was jaw-dropping — an incredible spread with fresh, delicious options for every taste. We looked forward to it every morning. The poolside activities kept the energy high, thanks to the lively and friendly staff who made sure everyone was having a blast. And the evening entertainment by the bar crew was top-tier — fun, engaging, and the perfect way to wind down the day. We checked in on 08/06/2025 with our 1-year-old baby and had a very pleasant stay. The reception staff were extremely helpful. We initially had a first-floor room, but due to the hot weather and low AC performance, we requested a ground floor room — they quickly arranged a calm and quiet one with a balcony, garden view, and great air conditioning. We were provided with a kettle for a 100 lira deposit, which was convenient. Housekeeping was excellent — towels were changed daily and the floors were kept clean. The entertainment team worked hard and did a great job. My baby especially enjoyed the activities during our 5-day stay. The food service was helpful and friendly. While the variety of food wasn’t huge, it was still good value for money.live cooking was so lovely ,especially omlette and piza The pools were fantastic — clean and well-maintained, with fun slides that added to the enjoyment. They have provided us free shuttle service to the city which was very convenient. Highly recommended for families traveling with young children!

Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be returning. We were really impressed with the variety of food, we loved the freshly cooked pizzas! All the staff are very helpful and attentive. Our only criticism is on a few occasions there were flies in the restaurant area, although I’m not sure how best to control this. Overall, the value for money here is brilliant and we cannot wait to return.

The hotel staff were welcoming, very helpful and always friendly. Rooms were adequate but dated as is the hotel it doesn't seem to have had a refurbishment in a long time. The location is not good in the middle of nowhere with Marakesh a 20 minute car journey away. The food was good but caters more towards the French who I incidentally were the main tourist nationality staying in the hotel when I was there and they for the most part were incredibly rude.

We visited in June four adults and six teenagers. The staff are fantastic and go out their way to help you. Rooms are adequate and clean amazing shower and great housekeeping.Food is varied every day and we always found several things that we enjoyed. Bar staff are brilliant pool bar my personal favourite always very friendly respectful and a laugh. Pools and gardens kept well and slides and added bonus. Gym well equipped with Omar a lovely guy, there if you need assistance. Bus twice a day to the old and new town free of charge. I would ld definitely come back to Morocco and this hotel. Keep up the good work everyone. Thank you.

Yessir was an absolute great entertainer, always making us feel welcome. The rooms were kept very clean thanks to the cleaners. Unfortunately the food was repetitive for some of the nights but the fresh pasta was great. Would recommend this place !

We were quite disappointed with the animation on Wednesday evening. According to the schedule, there was supposed to be a game night at 9 PM. However, nothing was happening. When we asked at reception, they couldn’t help us and simply sent us away. We eventually ran into an animator who told us it wasn’t taking place that evening and would only start the following week — despite the schedule clearly stating otherwise. The only activity that night was a live music performance. Our children were very disappointed. Additionally, it was frustrating that there was no charging point available for our electric vehicle. For a 5-star hotel in 2025, at the very least, a standard plug should be available. The pool lifeguards also seemed quite unmotivated — even giving a small push to help children down the slide seemed too much to ask. That said, the excellent service from Salma, our waitress, truly made our stay more pleasant. The food was tasty, though we would have appreciated more variety. The hotel itself could also use some renovation, as it looks a bit dated.

Great facilities, nice big main pool, and nice aqua park with a small variety of slides. Great activities throughout the day and a very good animation team. Very friendly, very engaging. Lots of fun for all ages. Food at the buffet restaurant was good, nice selection however mainly the same foods every day with a couple of changes. Nice spacious room. Only issue with the room was that it had an adjoining door to another door to the next room. We can lock it from our side however, noise travels through the door so when neighbours are noisy, the sound travels. Overall, very pleasant stay, many thanks to the staff and animation team.

We visited Eden Andalou Resort & Spa in the winter of 2016 for a family vacation, and although the aquapark was closed for the season, the experience was still fantastic from start to finish. The resort itself is beautifully designed with a charming Andalusian-Moroccan style — spacious courtyards, arches, fountains, and lush gardens that gave the whole place a very tranquil and elegant feel. Our room was large, comfortable, and perfect for our family, with warm décor and plenty of space to relax. One of the highlights of our stay was the spa area. The traditional hammam and massage treatments offered a perfect way to unwind, especially during the cooler months. The indoor heated pool was also a great feature, allowing us to enjoy swimming even in winter. The food was plentiful and varied — from Moroccan specialties to international dishes — served buffet-style with themed dinners and live music on some evenings. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Even without the aquapark, Eden Andalou delivered a warm, memorable, and relaxing holiday experience. Ideal for families looking for a peaceful escape close to Marrakech with a mix of culture, comfort, and Moroccan hospitality.

Had a beautiful stay at the resort. Food is outstanding, the entertainment team work so hard and make an effort with everyone. Happiness especially deserves a shout out. The aqua park has plenty for everyone. It was our first stay at Morocco and has definitely made us fall in love. I would definitely recommend. Lady who works in towel den is lovely and kind, Fiasal in the bar is attentive and polite.

It was aa lively and fun resorts the rooms are beautiful with ac which was very helpful and the views around the hotel was very aesthetic. The water park was so fun spent 2 days there they have many pools for activities. The hotel itself is wonderfully designed and looks superb . Most of all I LOVED the entertainment same and his crew was soo fun and were soo welcoming had the most fun with them love the dancers 💗 great for families

One of the worst guest experiences I’ve ever had. I visited Marrakech Ryads Parc & Spa to meet friends who were staying at the hotel. I wasn’t trying to access any facilities — just meeting them at the reception. However, the security guard at the entrance was extremely rude and refused to let me in, shouting at me in a very aggressive way. I called the reception and explained the situation, but the staff member I spoke to responded with zero professionalism, saying “we don’t allow outside visitors,” in an arrogant and dismissive tone. No courtesy, no explanation, no respect. Eventually, after my friends confirmed I was meeting them, I was allowed inside. We sat quietly at the reception for a coffee, but we kept feeling watched by the security staff, like we were doing something wrong. It was uncomfortable and unwelcoming. When I asked at reception why I was treated that way, they simply said: “That’s our policy and we’re free to apply it.” This isn’t how hospitality works — especially in a country like Morocco that values tourism and warm welcomes. As someone who works in the tourism field, I can say this kind of behavior damages the image of Moroccan hospitality. Policies are fine, but the way you treat people matters.

30 mins from the business or Marrakesh which I was happy with🤭 Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Obviously some ants on the go which is expected. Hotel very clean and staff extremely helpful. Entertainment staff work long hours and waiters put up with a lot of rude customers, all staff were fantastic! Bed wasn’t overly comfortable but that’s a personal preference and shower head could do with replacing but other than that fantastic rooms with air con. Not sure I’d go back to Morocco but if I did would happily return to the hotel. Highly recommend

Third visit to this hotel, this time solo (previously with teens and mum, and with partner). We keep coming back and will again: it hits the sweet spot for me! The hotel is 30mins outside the madness of Marrakech, but the hotel provides a very cheap and regular shuttle. If your aim is to relax, enjoy the huge pool, the hot sun, the all-inclusive ease, clean, landscaped grounds (maintained with care), and to eat Moroccan food surrounded by Moroccan style decor, you will be very happy. As a lone woman I felt very safe, welcomed and respected - behaving respectfully helps! I am vegan and there was a LOT of choice. The staff are fantastic, French is most commonly spoken but you get by fine with English and rubbish French from school. The animation team don't pester you, and yes the music is loud mid morning and mid afternoon but it's also fun - if you like silence by the pool you won't find it all day but watching happy people is enjoyable. Rooms are in riad style blocks, tasteful and cool, and spaced out well. Big bathrooms, not had any issue in three stays. There's entertainment every night, which I ran away from! People I met enjoyed it. If you don't, ask for a room in Azalea or Dahlia riads, furthest away. The spa has been improved recently and it's a beautiful calm space, excellent value and facilities. If you don't like to see a single cracked tile, only eat food you eat at home, and basically want a 5-star but book a 4 then moan online, please spare this chilled, welcoming and fun hotel your forever-opinion. Very well travelled, and this is one of my favourite places to be in the world. Thank you for your hospitality.

Hotel was lovely, entertainment staff were excellent! Rooms were comfy and styled beautifully but were shabby and needed some work, especially the bathroom! But it was all very clean. The hotel caters vastly towards French guests, being the dominant language and the food represented this.... Biggest disappointment was the food , hardly any options. Very repetitive each day. No options for children at all, didn't even have chips at dinner time!!

Ignore all the bad reviews, I read them before I went and knew when one woman was complaining that theres no chips at dinner that they couldn't be taken seriously. Did this hotel absolutely blow me away? No did i expect it to? No, we paid less than £1000 each for 2 weeks all inclusive in july/August. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and the food was good, there was a lot of choice everyday. Really good sized pool with plenty of sun loungers so no need to be up early to secure a spot. Bus runs daily into marrakech very cheap. Only problem we had which did let it down, the last 4 days our air con failed in the room and would intermittently blow warm air which is not ideal maintenance attended the room on 5 occasions but the best they could do was clean the filters and tell us its hot outside and the air con is working but you can't feel it because of how hot it is. Overall a good hotel and well worth what we paid

The perfect place for a couple or friends vacations! This is the third time and can't find a single thing to complain about here. Comparing to other hotel the price is a perfect deal, i work in a hotel next door with more than double the price wish doesn't worth it to be honest. We loved the calm and now with soft entertainment it's even better. Music is good, food is perfect and the place is just so clean that you can't even believe it. If you are into clubbing, you can find one of the best clubs and rooftop just next door (555 and sky5). No need to talk about the staff. You will just fall in love with them as soon as you step in the reception. The bar, the restaurant, the housekeeping, the spa, the gym... we found literally everything pleasing (we are so picky). Much love to all the stuff you're doing a really great job and a special thanks to the night bartender! He will make you smile whenever you go for a drink. See you guys next month ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Jaal Riad Resort. The relaxed ambiance helped us really switch off, and it was great to return to the peaceful resort after busy days exploring Marrakesh. The staff were so helpful and made our stay really enjoyable. The location is perfect, close to the city but away from the hustle and bustle. There’s a taxi area just across the street, and the staff were happy to hail one for us, which made getting around very easy. We ate at the buffet, pool bar, and Italian restaurant. All the food was fresh, tasty, and healthy. If you're after chips, head to the pool bar rather than the buffet! Also, many places in the city (including taxis) are cash only, so the ATM in reception was really useful. We’d definitely return. Thank you to all the team for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

We’ve had the most fabulous stay at the Jaal Riad resort for a week. It was the most relaxing vibe, clean, comfortable and overall just fantastic. The staff were very accommodating to our needs, helping us with queries and ensuring we have what we needed when we needed it. A special shout out to Khalid at reception, such a lovely guy from the start of our trip when he checked us in, to the day we left. Another special shout out to Saleem in the main bar, who again when above and beyond to help us with what we needed. Cannot thank them both enough. Highly recommend this resort 🫶🏼🙌🏼❤️

I have just returned from this hotel after a 7 night stay. The hotel is absolutely stunning, and is located quite central, easy to get to both the souks and the Menara mall 10-15mins in both directions. However I would not class this hotel as a 5 star, as lovely as the hotel staff were, we had to keep chasing housekeeping as our room was never made up. The buffet is really small, I’m glad I didn’t do all inclusive.

The attention they give to the guests is incredible and the level of care and work they give surpassed any experience I have had. The hotel is clean, the food is incredible and changes daily. Fabulous hotel. From checking in at reception, where we were given much needed cold drinks after a long flight, to the wonderful entertainment team, who went out of their way to make sure we were included. The team work so hard and couldn’t do enough for us. Kids loved the daily entertainment, especially the foam party and the evening shows. The white party is incredible!

OK we probably wouldn't have chosen this hotel had we not been part of a large group - a little too much 'fun' for us oldies! But... I cannot fault the place. It is huge, set in magnificent and beautifully maintained grounds. There are 2 enormous pools (we liked the quiet of the Zen pool). The food was superb, the buffet changing every day. The place is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The hygiene protocols that we could observe were top-notch. And the staff were all brilliant.

Our family of 5 had the most enjoyable and amazing stay at Iberostar Waves Club Palmeraie. The staff were attentive, helpful and couldn't do enough. A BIG shout out to Amina (manager) who was very warm, friendly, and an absolute star!! Another shout out to chef Amin who helped us with our dietary requirements and Younus who was always happy to help and attended to our every need. All the servers in the restaurant are hardworking, and are always happy to help. The entertainment team are excellent here, a BIG THANK YOU to the Kappa team who are full of energy, smiles and ooze with enthusiasm!! Housekeeping are excellent and always welcomed you with a smile and did an excellent job at cleaning our rooms and keeping the hotel spotless. This is a beautiful resort with the most amazing , hardworking and beautiful people. I would highly recommend Iberostar waves and cant wait to return!! We had an amazing stay at this resort. The food and drinks were plentiful, with lots of variety and great quality throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful, always positive, and genuinely entertaining—they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and keep the energy high. There were loads of activities available every day, which made the whole experience fun and engaging from start to finish. Highly recommend for a relaxing and lively holiday. Only 15 minute taxi to the city centre - we used the resort for our golf trip and would recommend for golfers.

A Fantastic Stay from Start to Finish! I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience from the moment I arrived. What a lovely hotel! My husband and I came here on our honeymoon, and had a wonderful time! The food was lovely and varied in the buffet restaurant and snacks bar. The stay includes a visit to the Moroccan restaurant which was peaceful, with love music playing and an incredible menu of authentic foods! Drinks were always delicious and plentiful! The swim up bar is often busy, but drinks are made quickly and with a smile! Good selection of pools and activities to do. We had a swim up room too which was a nice experience to have our own little space just outside our doors. You never had to fight for a sunbed (in fact they tell you not to reserve them with towels which is refreshing!). Was a nice touch to have a 'loud' and a 'quiet' pool for those who want involvement with the animation team and those who just want to chill. The staff were also amazing - every single person we encountered was friendly, smiley, working incredibly hard and could not do more to assist you. Every housekeeper, gardener, chef, waiter, bar staff, reception staff and security guard was an absolute delight!

We had the most amazing time for our honeymoon. The staff was so friendly and always checking in as you walk pass. The bar staff was very good but there was one that stood out the most in the evening which was Zizo he was so friendly poilet couldn't do enough for your. He always makes sure you have got drink. His nickname for my other half was Maiblu guy 🤣 The pool side team was amazing but a big thanks to Momo making sure we had everything we need. The evening entertainment was fantastic and the dJ was brilliant. Can't not fault this hotel we would 100% recommend this to anyone that is looking to get away and to relax. Loved our stay here in June 25. Shuttle bus into the centre was very handy, although we used a taxi a couple of times as the times weren't ideal in the afternoons. Food was excellent every day, plenty of choice and lots of healthy options. Service was mainly great. Not convinced there was always alcohol in the drinks, especially in the lobby bar but sometimes you could just about taste it! The hotel is spotless, housekeeping did a great job. There were plenty of loungers and we could always get one at any time of day. Would definitely recommend

This hotel was absolutely amazing !! The staff so helpful and attentive from the second you arrive, they automatically feel like family to you. We arrived and got served their famous tea and biscuits. We was taken to our rooms and we got offered drinks right away. Everyday they was very helpful and gave us good advice. Rooms were really clean and had everything you needed. Towels were getting changed daily. Not a single bad work I can say. If I come back to Morocco I’m returning to this hotel!

It's our second time visiting the hotel, the resort is spotless, great food and amenities and the hotel staff are very accommodating and polite. The rooms are lovely and always well maintained/cleaned. All of the staff are friendly, however the stand outs for us are the P.T in the gym, and both Emma and Mo in the animation team. Friendly, welcoming and a great attitude. Sami the DJ is also a great guy and very knowledgeable about what he does.

My stay at Hotel Akabar in Marrakech was nothing short of a disaster. I regret booking this place and hope others don’t make the same mistake. Here’s why: 1. Pool? More Like an Empty Hole One of the reasons we booked this hotel was for the pool, only to arrive and find it completely empty. Not a drop of water. No signs of maintenance or explanation—just a useless, dry hole in the ground. 2. Low Water Pressure = No Proper Shower Taking a shower here is an ordeal. The water pressure was so weak that it was impossible to properly rinse off. It felt like trying to shower under a leaking faucet. 3. Scammed at Check-In The receptionist blatantly overcharged us on the city tax. She seemed exhausted from fasting for Ramadan, which we understood, but that doesn’t excuse what happened. She charged us way more than the listed rate, then acted confused when we pointed it out. Despite multiple attempts to fix it, she just kept pretending she didn’t understand and never corrected her “mistake.” A total scam. 4. Terrible Breakfast – Stale and Repetitive Breakfast was the same every single day: dry, stale bread, bad coffee, and tasteless pastries. Zero effort, zero variety, and definitely not fresh. It felt like they were just recycling old food. 5. No Outlets in a Triple Room Our room had three beds but only one visible electrical outlet. In this day and age, that is ridiculous. We had to take turns charging our phones, which made planning our days incredibly inconvenient. 6. Ridiculous Food & Drink Policy The hotel does not allow guests to bring in any outside food or drinks—not even bottled water! This means you are forced to buy everything from them at ridiculously high prices. A small bottle of water cost more than triple what you’d pay at any shop nearby. It’s an obvious cash grab, and it made our stay even more frustrating. This hotel is a joke. Stay anywhere else if you can.

Fantastic hotel with all friendly staff and smiling faces. On check-in, was welcomed with such sincerity, was allotted a good view room on the first floor. Located in the midst of some top restaurants and most happening places around, is also walkable distance from most historic places in the city. The food was just mediocre and slightly pricey for what it was worth. The Tajine was good, but the European dishes could be avoided.

I didn't stay here. I'm writing this review because I couldn't find any recommendations for the restaurant at the Akabar Hotel. The food is excellent. The tagine with pieces of meat is very affordable and delicious. It melts in your mouth and is very juicy. We had mint tea and local Moroccan beer, both delicious. The service was very good. I highly recommend the restaurant at the Akabar Hotel.

Great hotel for rest and relaxation. Very nice and helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful hotel, breakfast buffet but very varied, the cook prepares delicious omelettes. In a short distance (5 minutes walk) good restaurants with delicious Moroccan food. I highly recommend.

Terrible experience ! Arrived at 10:30am and we were told the rooms are not ready until 2pm in the afternoon we were left waiting in reception until 12pm when we were finally shown the room the room was not clean carpet wasn’t hoovered however fridge did not work in the scorching heat, requested a iron we were told we have to pay for it separately including clean towels everyday they told us there is a charge ! After complaining to the manager she swapped our rooms to luxury family room however we still had the same problems in the rooms, the room was not clean no kettle or water no complimentary drink or water bottle, after complaining about the fridge 2nd time an engineer was sent to the room who was fixing the plug sockets as well as fridge because nothing in the room worked including lights ! It gets worse saw one or two cockroaches every night whilst we stayed, we had to beg and keep asking for normal hotel service whilst we were there the floor was never cleaned everything was stained including towels and housekeeping are thieves as they stole my daughters jumper that she arrived in and her travel pillow, She was very upset I still can’t believe after the terrible treatment they steal from you too ! The pools are not cleaned and rubbish is not picked up by the pools either, the worst experience ever Breakfast staff were okay but not approachable and they look miserable every morning with the same breakfast ! Would not recommend this hotel save your money only good thing was its location and nice building.

Absolutely terrible experience – avoid this place at all costs. This has honestly been the worst experience I’ve ever had abroad. The manager was incredibly rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. My young son suffers from eczema and occasionally bleeds during the night. Instead of addressing this with any empathy, the staff waited until the fourth night to tell us there was blood on the sheets—then had the audacity to charge us £380 for four nights of sheets, which is completely unreasonable and exploitative. The Wi-Fi barely works—it’s so bad that you might as well not bother trying to connect. On top of that, the place is infested with cockroaches, and there are no proper ceiling lights—just a few dim lamps that don’t light up the room properly. Breakfast was another disaster. I literally saw ants crawling in the food, which made me feel sick and completely put me off eating there again. And to make matters worse, the plug sockets stopped working during our stay, making it impossible to charge our phones or use basic appliances. To top it all off, one day my shorts accidentally fell over the balcony. I asked the housekeeper for help, and while they initially said they’d assist, they left me waiting for over 30 minutes with no follow-up. In the end, I had to dangerously reach over the balcony myself. This place is unsafe, unsanitary, and run by staff who clearly don’t care about guest wellbeing. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere—this is not worth your money or your peace of mind.

Went to Rawabi to celebrate my birthday on the 2nd June. Hotel wasn't bad overall and great location, 10-15mins walk to shopping centre and KFC and about half an hour from the airport. The front house staff were friendly and English spoken. However has few hiccups such as our room did not have any mini bar or safe deposit box, for a four star hotel there were no kettle in any of the rooms so cannot make a hot drink. Wanted an iron to do some ironing, they were telling us, no is a laundry service, but however managed to get an iron. Our bathroom had a funny smell and on arrival we found a dead cockroach in there. The door to go to the balcony was not closing, we had to put a chair behind it, however great view from our room. Oh my gosh the food in the restaurant was disastrous, you have cats walking around and what made it worse during breakfast you have these small birds that will fly in and out and start eating from the bread and croissants, so some of them you will find holes from the birds picking it. Staff were not paying attention to these small bits for hygiene reasons. I enjoyed the omelette and hot chocolate. Suggestion to that problem they need to find a clean cloth to put over them to stopped the birds picking them. Dinner time was rubbish food was salty and cooked too dry. My friend's children were not able to eat most days, as there were nothing they like or could eat apart from breadrolls. Thank God we went out to eat most of the evening. There variety is limited and did not cater for small children or take allergies into consideration. My favourite time was breafast. There were no entertainment provided on any of the evenings, however it stated that there was entertainment on the site. I have been to three star hotels and I will say it much better. They need to review there rating or uphold to there rating.

We stayed for 5 nights in July! I generally give reasonable reviews for hotels,unfortunately this one is the worse and I won’t be kind and be brutally honest. First,what you see from the lobby is not the same from hotel rooms.Rooms are aging,shower floor is moulding.Interior painting is fading.And in the morning,to my horror cocroach on the toilet floor.Clealiness is not so well. 2nd, it is my first 4 star hotel experience where in they can’t provide bottled water,e-kettle,coffee,tea’s ,room slippers,toothpaste,toothbrush!!!!I was told by the reception this a Morrocco srandard!😣Is this a 4 star hotel standard,Im wondering what is i clusive for lower stars????Maybe just a bed and a pillow and you go toilet at Sahara dessert?🤞 3rd,the breakfast is all the same from day 1 until the end(thanks for the guy who made omellete)I survived becuase of you. This hotel needs a complete redo from down to up! Not worth the money!

Awesome riad. We had a double room which was small, bur we kinda knew that in advance. Everything is super clean and well looked after. Bathroom is good but shower wets everything. Not a big deal. Awesome continental breakfast every morning on a beautiful rooftop. Definitely enough to get you started in the morning. Our last morning we had to leave early and they organised a take away breakfast for us 👌🏼 Very close to medina.

My friend & I stayed 4 nights here & I can’t speak highly enough. Even before we got there the correspondence, support and help was amazing. They collected us from the airport, they were waiting with a sign for €15 which saves so much hassle. The rooms were immaculate and the building was Perfection. The morning breakfast on the rooftop was something we looked forward to as it was delicious. The customer service was second to none. I’ve stayed all over the world but could honestly say 10 out of 10 all day long! We will definitely return and recommend to everyone who goes to Marrakesh. The location couldn’t be more perfect.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed — the lobby is beautiful, the atmosphere is calm, and the rooms are spacious and spotless. One of the highlights of my stay was the staff, especially Aylan. He was so kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure guests had a great experience. He helped me with everything I needed, always with a smile, and his professionalism really stood out. The food was fresh and varied every day, and the pool area was perfect for unwinding. The only small thing to note is that the hotel is a bit far from the city center, so you’ll need to arrange transport — but for me, that added to the peace and quiet. If you’re looking for comfort, amazing service, and a place to truly relax, Barceló Marrakech is the perfect choice.

We stayed here for a week and it’s a fabulous hotel. The grounds are beautiful and there’s plenty to do if you’ve got children with you. The rooms however are a bit dated and the family room we had, counted a sofa bed as an additional sleeping space which isn’t ideal. The food variation isn’t the best so you do find the same options available. However everywhere is kept neat and tidy, and staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The only other thing is the sewage smell when they are doing works every day as it can become quite intrusive!

In my experience it was better to speak to reception in person rather than by phone as they would agree to do stuff but then not do / send items to room. Much better face to face. Omar from customer relations was great and very helpful. Had a packed schedule so didn't spend much time at the resort. Would love to go again for 2 or 3 days just to chill out.

This is one of the best hotels that we have stayed in. It's set in a quieter area on the outskirts of Marrakesh and is truly an oasis of calm and tranquility. The beautifully maintained gardens provide a backdrop for relaxation and an appreciation of the natural surroundings. The rooms are set apart from the main building surrounded by trees and flowers ensuring you awaken to the sound of birds singing and the scent of the gardens. The rooms are on the small side but clean and functional, we spent very little time in the room making the most of the outdoor space. We stayed half board and the buffet style food was very good with a wide range for breakfast and different options each evening, along with some very good local wines. We didn't eat at the A La Carte restaurant as we were more than happy with the buffet choices. Both pools are heated and very clean with plentiful sun loungers and parasols. There are Pool bars offering a range of drinks and snacks at a reasonable price and complimentary daily activities such as stretching, yoga and aqua aerobics. There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the centre of Marrakesh which takes around 20 minutes running from 9 - 6.30 and is definitely worth using for a visit to the Medina. Lastly I would like to mention that all staff were extremely friendly and helpful which contributed to us having such a wonderful holiday. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel.

We’re so please we decided to stay at Riad Armelle over a larger hotel. It’s very traditional and so comfortable. A little heaven in the middle of the hustle and bustle. We stayed 7 nights and would have stayed longer! Staff super friendly and nothing is too much to ask. The breakfast was very good. Thank you so much!!! Definitely recommend!

Cici, the hostess, is an absolute asset to this Riad. She looks after her guests as if they are family - nothing is too much trouble. The Riad is obviously an older building, but it is exquisitely beautiful. It is very central and you can walk anywhere. We have loved every moment here. Uninhabitable - we had to leave and pay for another accommodation out of pocket. Room was advertised as having air con but this did not work. We were then moved to another room the following morning after a sleepless night and the air con in this room was weak and intermittent. Given the heat (up to 45 degrees in day time and over 25 at night) this meant the riad was not safe to stay at. Staff were unable to help and just gave a number to WhatsApp the owner who didn’t bother to respond (and still hasn’t). Didn’t feel like the staff were too bothered (although Cece was very nice). Otherwise the place is nicely decorated and location is quite good. Maybe ok for a winter trip.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we still can’t get enough of this Riad. It’s one of the best stays we’ve had. The staffs are amazing and nice, rooms are cleaned daily and they offer light breakfast. The room we stayed in was so cool despite how hot the temperature was, it has a traditional style design which was very unique. The Riad is about 10 mins walk from the city centre and 15 mins to the market square. There are shops amd restaurants around the area with options to select from. A well-deserved oasis of peace and coolness in the chaos and madness of the Medina in Marrakesh. I stayed for 4 days in Marrakesh with my family and had a wonderful time at Riad Karmela. The inner courtyards are beautiful, the rooftop terraces as well, and the small pools and jacuzzi really add to the atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail and in keeping with the local style — each one with a different color theme. A few small imperfections are part of the charm of the place. The staff were kind and welcoming. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. This was by far the best accommodation we had in Morocco — the only one that truly exceeded our expectations during our trip, in a country where hotel standards are far below what we Europeans are used to. If we ever come back to Marrakesh, we’ll definitely return to Karmela Palace. Highly recommended!

A most wonderful oasis in the heart of Marrakesh. Felt very safe with teenagers in the Riad and no worries about locking rooms etc. staff paid so much attention to detail and really looked after us. A special mention for Mohammed who went out of his way to make us all feel so welcome. Traditional Riad which only had narrow alleyway access but would recommend ordering the Tuk tuk ride from front desk - the kids enjoyed that rare experience of the tuk tuk riding through the narrow alleyways.

Booking it was very easy and we were given very clear and detailed instructions to find the Riad (it is in a small alley). The service was excellent and we were given mint tea at the end. Then we got couples massages that were wonderful - my husband doesn’t even like massages but he loved this one!

We went to the spa and had a 45 minute Hammam and 45 minute full body massage. Having been to a Hammam in Turkey before and loving it, it was our first time trying one in Morocco but this time we were left disappointed. The building was lovely and the staff were very friendly, but the treatments itself were far from luxurious. They felt aggressive and a bit rushed and it wasn’t the relaxed experience we were after. However if this is what you’re after then it may be a great thing to do here, we just wanted a more relaxed time. As a woman, it was also a little frustrating to have my hair washed in the Hammam, for them to then massage oil into my hair afterwards in the massage, leaving it greasy and needing washing again. Only a small note but something to be aware of.

We loved our Hammam and massage experience at Riad Al Ksar and Spa. We were looking for a private version of a Hammam and massage for a couple that wasn’t too expensive. The packages here ticked those boxes and didn’t disappoint. Both treatments were lovely, and it was nice to sit in the beautiful courtyard with a tea afterwards feeling very relaxed in the tranquil setting.

Hygiene is extremely poor, birds on the restaurant above and by the food. Toilets are not cleaned regularly and tables are not wiped down. When the glasses run out, the staff will swill the glass with water and then use it for another guest. As a result family members and other holiday makers have all reported upset stomach issues and have spent up to 2 days in the room. Air conditioning does not work in the rooms and there isn't anywhere with the resort that has functioning air conditioning. On arrival, reception staff provided 2 key cards to rooms which already had other guests in. Glasses given freely to guests around the pool, and shards of glass in many areas. All entertainment day and night is in French, no attempt to translate into any other languages. If French speaking you are served at the bars, if not you are left waiting. This hotel does not try to accommodate any other nationality and you are ignored by staff. One or two very nice individuals within the main bar who really tried to make you feel welcome. At the water park you are unable to get a drink or use the 1 inflatable for the slide as there are so many people just pushing in and not waiting. In the nightclub you are charged for drinks and everything stops at 11pm in the bar area. The music is French drum and base or African drum and base, played full blast on repeat all day long around the main pool. After multiple complaints about the safety and poor hygiene throughout the holiday, We were given lip service about the desire to improve and accommodate. Nothing improved. The bar manager was the rudest person and deliberately targeted English and refused them more than 2 drinks per person whilst serving French guests with multiple drinks and serving ahead of the English despite having queued for ever as it was.

This hotel was one of the worst hotels ive even been in in Marrakesh. The city is already way too hot with 45 degrees outside how can a hotel not provide good air conditioning in the rooms? We couldn’t sleep for 3 days in a row, the air conditioning was so poor and when we asked if it was broken at the reception they just sent us a guy that said it was all good now but nothing changed at all. If you wanna spend such an uncomfortable holiday come to this hotel. other than that service is okay and the staff here is also very nice

Absolutely awful if you're English. Just don't go. Everything was in French, didn't understand the entertainment they didn't even try to involve us. The lady reception staff were lovely & the room maid was so sweet. We had different coloured wrist bands to the french. Double cheak your money when exchanging to the conversation as we were £40 short. There are birds in the dining hall, so just a heads up. It's not completely all-inclusive as you have a red fob & so many complaints that they were charging people money to their rooms. The bar at the aquamarine is shut & only a shop where you have to buy things but it's so hot the drinks you take with you get warm so quick so can't spend alot of time over there. The service is do slow you can ask to be served so many times. it's like they look right through you. But if your french it happens immediately or they even stop serving us to serve them, queue jumping at it's best. Air conditioning isn't great & kept breaking down & when the power cuts happened, obviously, it would work. Just so busy there the pool was packed awful beat music round the pool just asked politely if they could put on some works wide music maybe not French & got told were not just accommodating you go to another pool. But where we were sunbathing, they were at least 12 English & just wanted something a little different. As they had gone to lunch anyway. The list is endless, cockroaches, and ants in the rooms. I travel a lot & would never recommend this hotel. As it's sold out of France by a travel company to send them there.

I recently stayed at Valeria Medina Club Resort in Morocco and had the most incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of energy. Special thanks to Munir from Guest Relations, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. His kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests really stood out—he made our holiday experience absolutely amazing. A huge highlight of our stay was the entertainment team. They truly made our holiday unforgettable by involving everyone in the evening activities and creating such a fun, inclusive vibe. There was never a dull moment thanks to their enthusiasm and dedication! The food was absolutely amazing—plenty of variety, always fresh, and something to suit everyone’s taste. Every meal felt like a treat! The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard, and the entire resort was well-maintained. The bar staff, waiters, and everyone we interacted with were so friendly, helpful, and full of good energy—it really made the whole stay that much better. Overall, Valeria Medina Club Resort exceeded our expectations. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable holiday in Morocco. Can’t wait to come back!

11th August 2025. We arrived on 1st August having booked two rooms with an upgrade room for my wife and I. Our rooms were next door but neither was an upgrade. No alternatives were found or offered. Our room had an ant infestation which was quickly sorted by the staff. They didn't fixt the dim bulb in the toilet, the non-working extractor fan in the bathroom or the erratic air con. Part way through our stay the sink started to block up and the toilet flush failed. The flush was sorted to a temperamental state. Water draining from the sink remained very slow. The toilet roll holder was broken so rolls were placed on top of it. In the shower the drain cover was broken off and several times I stepped onto the sharp remains of the plastic fixing. The décor was way past its best and needed freshening. In short, our room was in dire need of attention. Our cleaner did a very good job every day but she couldn’t help with the maintenance, only pass on comments. Outside the story is much the same. The pathways are decrepit with pavement blocks loose, broken or missing. The ornamental lake is part filled with vast areas of black plastic sheeting displayed. The gardeners seem to be continuously working either trimming growths or watering them, but they don’t seem to get the basics right. The practical things have taken a back seat. Reception has no apparent air conditioning and with the time guests spend in there, that has to be an oversight, or maybe a deliberate ploy to keep visits short. Reception is where you exchange for Moroccan Dirhams. When you are all inclusive you don’t expect to need much local cash except for tips. They seldom had notes less than 50 Dirhams so we tended to go to the on-site shop to break the notes. 20 Dirham is a good tip. On the subject of all inclusive, this hotel cheats. I have been to all inclusive hotels around the world where I could help myself to soft drinks, anywhere and at any time. The bars served all types of spirits and beers, sometimes local varieties and servings of spirits were ample. Here, all inclusive finishes at 11pm, after which it’s payment time and some spirits are to be paid for anyway no matter what the time and no self serve soft drinks machines. If you want to use the distant ‘adult only’ pool or the adjacent water slides, drinks and food are not allowed. That includes water which we found vital in the 40 plus degrees of our stay. The main pool is just about adequate but beware of the pool edge tiles. They are so rough that both our grandchildren ended up with grazes on their hands and knees. There is a nearby snack bar but at a cost. There is another pool with adjacent restaurant and bar but its an extra daily charge to use the facilities. The food is good with many choices at each meal. You have to ask for wine as it’s kept out of sight. There is a separate but close by outside area where eggs are cooked as you want them. They also cook very good burgers and chips. During our 10 days there was one stage dance show put on by the Animation Team lasting maybe an hour. Every evening outside the only alcohol serving bar on site is an attempt to entertain by a couple of the Animation Team. They have inane games involving a few unlucky guests who have been roped in to amuse everyone else. That’s if you understand French because this is primarily a French speaking resort. And talking of that bar, they are very keen on short measures, drowning the drink with ice and mixer. So ask for doubles and watch the pour. Organisation at this place is on a par with the overall structure, dismal. The kids didn’t notice so they had great fun but if you are an adult with expectation of all the benefits that an ALL INCLUSIVE package usually brings, look elsewhere. Some short sighted hotel inspector with low expectations seems to have given this resort a 4 star rating. I would give it as many stars as there are on the Moroccan flag. You work it out.

I managed to see the entrance, the foyer and the pool area.  I didn't like any of them and I cant recall one thing within this hotel in my brief stint I was there which would give me any promise this it would improve through out the hotel. As you enter through the old rickety wooden gate into the 'yard' you will already have a feeling that the stay here isn't going to be great.  Through the old front wooded main entrance into a dark and dreary foyer area surrounded by old brown leather recliners you will not be greeted with a beverage but with an unprofessional receptionist.  The receptionist while you booking you in will have multiple conversations with other people as they pass and completely ignore you all whilst you are checking in. At this stage, after peeling myself of the recliner while still waiting to check in, I ventured into the 'pool' area to have a look around. It's certainly a pool and its in an area however its not an area you would enjoy spending time and look to relax. More prison court yard with a hole in the ground filled with water. At this point, we decided to check out albeit we still wasn't checked in and after being refunded for the tourist tax, which to confirm we were incorrectly over charged for requested for a refund and a taxi to leave. The refund I was told to take it up with booking.com. 15minutes later as the taxi arrived and the bell boy done a deal with the taxi driver we was on our way. As the saga continues regarding the refund (I was being polite to the hotel before this stage and explained I booked the wrong hotel in error, which I booked that day) HOWEVER due to the fact the hotel continue to ignore my request for a refund and haven't even acknowledged my message/email a week later I thought it would be easier to provide genuine feedback and honest review for other people traveling to the hotel. I was fortunate to stay at another hotel however if I had to spend my holiday at this hotel I would have been so unhappy counting down the days until I flew home.  The photos on the site do not look anything like it, don't spoil your holiday/break.

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. There was no cleaning, no air-conditioning, and no Wi-Fi throughout our stay. Despite complaining multiple times, nothing was done. The room was not properly cleaned, and the staff seemed inexperienced and untrained. The food was terrible, especially the hot drinks — the staff had no idea how to prepare them. Overall experience was alright. The rooms are a bit damaged and not very clean upon entry. The included buffet is nice and diverse, however the regular power cuts weren’t appreciated, and the room service wasn’t very attentive: left the room for 2 hours with the please clean my room sign but even after that long it wasn’t cleaned, knowing that the room service lady was in the room in front of mine. The hotel is far from the city center, hence you can’t really catch the essence of the city without having to rely on taxis who charge an outrageous price for a 10 minute drive. Apart from that it was alright, not very adapted for an extended stay in my opinion ( it has to mainly do with the proximity to the city…)

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The reception and buffet staff were unpleasant, rude, and at times outright disrespectful. The hotel rooms are poorly maintained there was visible green mold on the walls, dusty carpets, and even large cockroaches roaming around, which is completely unacceptable given the price range. During our stay, my friends and I became severely ill, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness. As for the location the hotel is very close to the airport, so expect to hear up to four loud planes passing by every hour, even at night. I found this extremely disruptive and unsettling. Additionally, it's important to note that burkinis are not allowed in the swimming pools, making this hotel unsuitable and not inclusive for hijabis or anyone who prefers modest swimwear. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet is fairly well-rounded. The outdoor green spaces are well-maintained and offer a relaxing place to walk and unwind aswell as some indoor areas like the reception. And lastly unlike the rest of the staff the cleaning ladies are well mannered and helpful. But overall, I’m deeply disappointed and will not be returning. I do not recommend this hotel to others.

A stunning hotel just a short walk from the Medina. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and well-maintained. The food was exceptional—we dined multiple times at the Italian restaurant and enjoyed both the lunch and breakfast buffets, which offered a fantastic variety of fresh, flavorful dishes. The heated pool was perfect, with plenty of loungers available around all three pools. The gardens are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful atmosphere. I indulged in a spa treatment on our last day, and it was hands down the best massage I’ve ever had, with very reasonable pricing. Here’s a possible comment in English about Kenzi Hotel: I had a pleasant stay at Kenzi Hotel. The service was excellent — the staff was welcoming and always ready to help. However, I was disappointed by the fact that residents still have to pay for access to the pool. I believe this should be included in the stay, as it takes away from the overall value and experience. A Memorable Stay at Be Live Experience Marrakech! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Be Live Experience Marrakech, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations. One of the most beautiful resorts in Marrakech — its rating doesn’t truly reflect the level of enjoyment, exceptional service, and warm hospitality offered to guests. The rooms are modern and spacious, and every service — from housekeeping to guest relations to the pool team — is outstanding. The breakfast buffet is also impressively large, offering a wide variety of both local and international dishes. I was pleasantly surprised with a birthday celebration: my room was beautifully decorated, and I was presented with a birthday cake and a lovely bouquet of flowers. It was truly a remarkable experience, and one I will definitely repeat. My only suggestion would be to introduce some entertainment activities at the pool — it’s spacious and perfectly suited for that.

We checked into our room around 5pm and immediately noticed that the bathroom was filled with flying ants. It was unclear what exactly they were, but it was unacceptable either way. We reported it to the front desk and it took three to four phone calls for someone to eventually come spray the bathroom. It was clear that the cleaning lady was already aware of the issue, which made it even more disappointing. Later that night, we returned from dinner to find that the infestation had gotten worse. The bathroom was completely invaded by bugs, even more than before. We had no choice but to move to another room at 1am. The staff member who came to assist us was on the phone the entire time. He did not bother to end the call and clumsily carried our suitcases with one hand, hitting the walls as he walked. He placed the bags in the new room and left without saying a single word to us. It felt very unprofessional. The cleaning staff were not friendly and rarely greeted us or smiled. They seemed uninterested and unmotivated. On several occasions, they forgot to bring us water and fresh towels. We had to call multiple times just to get basic necessities, and once again, it often took three calls for someone to finally come. On a more positive note, the receptionists were friendly and professional, and the valet staff were also helpful. The breakfast was exceptional, although the dining area was consistently overcrowded. Overall, the experience was disappointing and the hotel does not meet the standard of a five-star stay. It felt more like a three-star experience.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Savoy Hotel in Marrakesh. The location is excellent—close to the Menara Mall and just a short drive from the Medina. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with lovely pools, spacious common areas, and a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice view of the pool area. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied, with both local and international options. Most of the staff were helpful and professional, especially the housekeeping and front desk teams. However, we did encounter a bit of confusion with the concierge desk. We asked about taxi prices several times during our stay, and each person gave us a different answer—sometimes quite far apart. This inconsistency made it difficult to know what to expect and left us feeling a bit uncertain when arranging transportation. It would be helpful if they had more standardized information or clearer communication regarding this. Overall, though, we enjoyed our time at the Savoy. It offers a luxurious setting with great amenities, and with just a bit more attention to service details, it could easily be a 5-star experience.

Extremely Disappointing – Not a 5-Star Experience I stayed at the Savoy Le Grand Hotel in Marrakech with two other adults, and it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've had – definitely not worthy of its 5-star rating. We specifically requested 3 single beds but were given one double bed to share, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, we arrived at 8pm – well after the 3pm check-in time – and our room was still not ready. Service throughout the hotel was poor. We had to call multiple times just to receive basic amenities like water or clean towels. Despite being on a half-board package (where water should be included), they repeatedly tried to charge us for it, and we received conflicting information from different staff members every time we asked. The pool situation was equally frustrating. You're only allowed one towel per guest, which is ridiculous for a hotel that claims to be 5-star. The second pool doesn't even have a towel kiosk, so you have to walk quite a distance in the heat just to get a towel. There also weren't enough sunbeds, and guests were reserving them very early in the morning, making it difficult to find a spot during the day. The rooms and pool areas look tired and in need of refurbishment. The service is disorganized, and staff professionalism is lacking across the board. Overall, this felt more like a 3-star hotel at best. Save yourself the disappointment – this is not a luxury hotel by any standard.

Regarding the hotel, it was very beautiful, and I highly recommend it for families. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. During breakfast, all the staff were wonderful. However, there is a very big problem that you must pay attention to: the valet parking staff are extremely rude—I have never seen anything like this in my life. There was a skinny young man (they told me he is from the Amzmiz area) who insulted me and my husband. There was also a short elderly man who shocked me with his behavior. It’s really disappointing that such a respectable hotel, with everything else being perfect, would have valet staff like this. I really liked the hotel, and of course, I will stay there again if I come to Marrakech. I even recommended it to all my family. But you absolutely must find a solution with the valet staff—it’s extremely important. I would never allow them to park my car because they drive recklessly, as if they are angry or resentful

Absolutely lovely hotel. Great service thoughout. Clean. Well maintained. Breakfast is phenomenal and selections of food abound. I had breakfast with several peacocks every morning of my stay. There is a lovely tea/coffee shop inside the hotel that has an excellent selection of gourmet treats including high end packages teas and coffee. The pool area is absolutely spectacular with showers, cabanas, bars, and several pools to suit your tastes. Rooms are well appointed (iron is in the room. My room had an adorable small balcony which I enjoyed every morning and evening to listen to the passive sounds of the city. No worries about noise. I slept well and in reasonable quiet in my cozy bed. I would stay here again and am now eager to visit other Movenpick properties thanks to this visit.

Highly recommend this hotel — the people make all the difference!

This does not feel like a five star hotel. I was woken up because of subpar service at 2AM two nights in a row. The first night, another guest was banging on the front door to be let in for what must have been five minutes, calling the front desk multiple times which I could hear from my room. I finally got dressed and went down to the lobby to let them in, both for their sake and mine, but by that time the attendant had returned to the front desk. I know that other Riyads nearby always have someone at the desk and security to ensure this never happens; why wouldn’t you at least take the phone with you if you are leaving the locked door unmanned you know that you have guests outside? The next morning, someone from the desk called me at 3 AM as a wake up call. When I initially booked, I was planning to leave very early so I can understand how this mistake would’ve been made. Except when I checked in, I explained to them that I was no longer leaving early like the rest of my party and in fact requested a late checkout for that same day so that I could book a spa service for that morning. They did book my spa appointments and insured I could have a late check out, but they did not cancel my wake up call. My spa service was running only a few minutes late, despite being the only guest using it, and the person behind the front desk invited me to sit in the lobby… No water, no tea; perfectly fine but not what you may expect from a five star hotel. Finally, a huge pet peeve is when I can’t use the mirror in a bathroom without bending down considerably. I’m tall but not ridiculously tall (6’3” / 191cm) and the mirror in the bathroom did not even reach my shoulders! For some bizarre reason it was just a strip of mirror above the sink and then wall above it. The staff was very friendly, and seemed genuinely kind, but often seemed rushed like they were trying to juggle too many things or guests at once.

This Riad is in a very safe part of the old Medina. Staff are WONDERFUL! Very kind, super helpful, and all of their Recommendations were a 10/10! This Riad/ hotel is VERY clean. The breakfast as well, is excellent for Moroccan standards. Fresh fruit, order from a list of Omlettes, coffee and fresh orange juice, pancakes and the list goes on. Fun Rooftop patio. Great for Groups too. 👏👏👍👍😊😊🇲🇦

The room was big and clean. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful. However, the services at the front desk were pretty average if I compare with other Moroccan riads. The room was badly maintained; the towels were ragged, the hinge on the hair dryer was broken and the couch was falling apart. This is not something I expected from a five stars riad.

We spent 2 nights at Riad Nashira right before the end of the year. Overall...great service, nice facilities. The staff provided outstanding service from our arrival to departure. I'm not sure if I'd consider the riad a 5-star facility, but the courtyards and rooftop lounge are nicely decorated and well equipped. Our room was nice...comfortable bed, good water pressure for shower, etc. The only issue we had was the noise...stone walls and no soundproofing made it hard to sleep. The riad's located within a few minutes walk to the souks and easy walking distance to the major sites within the Medina.

Summary : Wonderful hotel, amazing staff, great location in the old city. Highly Recommended. My family and I stayed at the Riad Nashira & Spa in Aug 2022 for our summer hols. Great location, whilst walking through the narrow old streets, entering through the traditional Moroccan door and then take a deep breath to admire the courtyards and amazing architecture. A lot of care, thought and detailing has been put into this Raid building. The staff are equally very polite and knowledgeable. Everything felt very personal and all our needs were always catered for. We did ask many questions to the staff and they always had a smile and provided helpful information for our stay. +10/10. We highly recommend the Riad Nashira & Spa for all who want to get a feel for the old city and stay in Marrakesh.

What a lovely gem of a hotel in Marrakesh! We stayed in the villa and it was beautiful and spacious. The swimming and seating around our private pool was adding extra luxury. Food was amazing, great selection that suit different dietary requirements. Staff were helpful, attentive and polite.

The Royal Palm Marrakech clearly places customer service and guest experience at the heart of its offer. Staff were consistently warm, transparent, and generous with their advice, which made our stay truly enjoyable. We dined in-house four nights in a row, trying all the restaurants. Service was excellent across the board. While the variety is appreciated, some menu items could be elevated - in particular, the sushi and tempura didn’t quite meet the standard we’re used to in cities like London or Paris. The Moroccan restaurant was a standout, and the breakfast/brunch buffet was a highlight as well. That said, at this price point, additional à la carte or lighter breakfast options would be welcome. Given the high temperatures during our stay, I would recommend offering complimentary infused water throughout the property, which would be a thoughtful and refreshing touch. We did appreciate the provision of bottled water via room service throughout our stay. The view from our room - overlooking the golf course and Atlas Mountains - was breathtaking and added to the sense of escape. One small point to flag: the €65 charge for the hotel’s airport transfer felt steep, especially when compared to local private, air-conditioned transport which is typically €20, including luggage. Overall, a memorable and high-end stay with a few opportunities to refine the guest experience even further.

Loved every part of this elegant and serene resort. Our room was huge, well laid out and comfortable. The grounds are beautifully landscaped thanks to the hardworking landscaping team. Breakfast buffet had a huge variety, special shout out for the amazing pastry team, all your pastries and breads were wonderful every day. Also loved the msemen of every variety, and the house green juice. The fitness centre is large and well equipped, with a gym and studio, heated swimming pool, table tennis, four tennis courts and two padel courts. Had a wonderful stay and only wish we could have stayed longer and had time to try the spa.

The place is beautiful, the rooms are truly very comfortable, spacious, and equipped with all amenities. I came for a business trip—the facilities are perfect for large-scale events, with great sound and unbeatable service. Breakfasts are very good with plenty of options. Lunch and dinner may fall short when it comes to vegetarian choices. The service and staff are an outstanding!

I had a wonderful stay here for my birthday in March 2024. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning oriental atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making my experience even more special. The food was amazing, and I especially enjoyed the belly dancer show during dinner—such a unique and entertaining touch! The pools and gym were fantastic, adding to the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel!

Just finished our stay at the Aqua Mirage, and I must say I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the hotel, staff, security and lifeguards. They were all so helpful, a special mention to the security and lifeguards who made us feel safe around the hotel and in the pools. Lifeguards have a very unique way of demonstrating such small yet kind gestures. The food at the hotel has been very nice with plenty of options. The downside of the hotel was the rooms however not the worst, tiles need to be re-grouted and the cleaner may want to clean under the beds from time to time. On a whole I’d rate this hotel 7/10 and I’d stay again.

Staff are rude, unhelpful and have no customer service skills. Lack friendliness and don’t even acknowledge what you are asking for. There was multiple times me or my family had asked for something and we were denied. For example the cleaner for our room had taken or misplaced our AC remote we asked for it everyday for 3 days and no compliance, we asked for soap since there was none on arrival, again asked multiple times and didn’t get soap for the whole stay. Pretty much every single member of staff was rude and didn’t want to help, they don’t even crack a smile. Although the hotel is nice the staff ruin the whole thing. The food is good however for it being all inclusive they really limit your portion sizes, sometimes denied when going to the same place for more. The bar staff rarely ever had ice, there were 3 soft drinks of choice, the same ones everyday and they were always flat.

Can not recommend this resort enough. From the time we arrived they were so welcoming. The animation team made us feel so at home from day one, they really go out of their way to accommodate children and families. The security team and all the staff are so friendly and make sure it's a safe environment. The pools and aqua park are amazing for both adults and children. We made friends for life. It's honestly the ideal resort for families. Five stars. It exceeded our expectations, from small kids to adults, it's perfect.

I was scared after reading some of the reviews but i can truly say that this is a great hotel, great food that change all the time. The pools ha so many lifeguard that was really active and controlled everything which made me as a mom feel that my kids was safe. The entertainment staff was friend and interactive. Overall staff was supper friendly!! Service was great!

Amazing Place! Would highly recommend booking. Was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews but genuinely 10/10! The entire resort is so huge you wouldn’t even feel the need to leave! Rooms were comfy, spacious and clean, safe provided, plenty of storage, clean bathrooms and showers. Rooms were cleaned, mopped and tidied every single day. The all inclusive food was huge massive variety throughout the day if the main dinner area is closed theres 2-3 snack bars serving pizza burgers wraps drinks desserts so you will never have a problem with food! Highly recommend visiting the snack bar! The chefs are amazing and the managers we didn’t know where to start off on our first day and the manager/ head chef helped us out and answered our questions. So many places to sit even a closed off area to 16+ only. 2 restaurants available but reservations needed. All the pools are clean and massive they are cleaned every night including the floors where people may have spilt drinks so you will never see flys around. The entertainment every night changes so you will always be entertained the entertainment team are amazing. They include you all as much as they can. Many activities running through out the day archery, football, aqua training, tennis, golf, foam party, music, djs anything you can think of. Service is amazing staff are friendly, easy check in and check out early check in available too. Our door lock broke and within minutes someone came to fix it. Needed help with AC someone came and helped us out in seconds. The service at this hotel is amazing! Will be coming back here next year!

Excellent location, comfortable facilities. Major disappointment regarding the service for Moroccan clients: we clearly felt a difference in the level of attention and respect depending on the nationality. Being Moroccan, I unfortunately received much less friendly or efficient service, as did my family. Some staff members are friendly and pleasant, but from others, we got the feeling that we were bothering them. The hotel is not clean at all — it looks abandoned. The pool is dirty, and empty drink cups were left by the poolside for hours until one of the guests picked them up, afraid that a child might get hurt. Lack of hygiene everywhere (lobby, rooms, kids' playground, pool…). The food service is poor. For table napkins, they give you one paper napkin per person per meal! The buffet is very limited, and if you don’t show up early at the restaurant, you might find nothing left. The staff really needs training. One thing is certain: I will not go back.

🚫 Never Again❌ – Unsafe, Dirty & Unprofessional! 🚫 ⭐☆☆☆☆ This is by far one of the WORST hotel experiences I have ever had. Unsafe — staff opened my room door without permission, even while guests were sleeping. Dirty — rooms with no water, broken AC, and zero hygiene. Unprofessional receptionist with an attitude as if working in a nightclub, lifeguards busy flirting instead of watching the pool. ❌ The only reason I don’t regret coming is because I saved a 2-year-old child from drowning while the so-called lifeguards ignored their duties.❌ We arrived at 4 PM but only got our room at 6 PM — exactly when the water park closed, wasting our entire first day. If you value your safety, your time, and your money — stay far away from this place!🙏🏻

First of all Loved Morocco!!!! The location of the hotel isn’t too bad either. When we arrived at the hotel at 10am we checked in at the hotel only to be told by the receptionist they didn’t have our booking. They gave us a drink and told us to sit in the lobby for 2 hrs whilst they tried to sort out our room. They didn’t once come up to us to keep us informed. Eventually when they did come up to me they told me they needed Love Holidays to confirm my booking even though I had it in writing. This was not a good start to my holiday. Once this was sorted we was given our All Inclusive Bands only to find out we were not actually All inclusive . You had to pay for drinks after 11pm in the main bar and the pool bar outside if you didn’t book your trip from the travel provider Framme you were not deemed All Inclusive. The food was terrible, they do not cater for UK people or children. We had to eat out a few times just so we could eat otherwise we would starve and we are not fussy at all. The rooms are outdated and need a lot of work as does the hotel. One day we were sunbathing round the pool and they decided the use a petrol chainsaw to cut down trees, petrol fumes were round the whole pool for the day causing a layer of fog. There were families round this pool all day just caused an awful smell and headaches we even complained to the manager and they eventually stopped. They have no shower rooms if you have late check out so it’s worth paying to have your room later it’s about £40

A cheap all-inclusive was what we got! (August 2024) Firstly, the hotel itself looks gorgeous, and the rooms were nice and clean, but that unfortunately is where the compliments end, Day 3 of our trip and I found a WHOLE ZIP-TIE in the dessert from the lunch buffet. The manager did seem very concerned by this after we had shown him, though all we got for compensation was a fruit basket and a bottle wine (all of which was already included in our all-inclusive stay) and the ability to make multiple bookings at the a la carte restaurants. Which brings us onto our next issue, there seemed to be a lot of confusion with many guests about the hotel restaurants. You are only able to book them ONCE per stay, which was not made clear when booking. This was very disappointing as the food there is at a much higher standard than the main buffet restaurant. The service in general was very poor. Staff at the poolside bars were quite rude and inattentive, often seen on their phones or just chatting while a line of guests would be waiting to be served. Lifeguards by the pool were seen off to the side chatting to young female guests instead of doing their jobs, a little girl got hurt by the pool during our stay and there were no lifeguards present to immediately help. As well as the hotel guest relations not being very helpful, she spoke very little English which is surprising for guest relations, as the hotel is advertised as a destination for English tourists. In fact, English was not spoken by the majority of the staff, which meant that many of the rules of the hotel was not explained properly, leaving many of the guests confused (e.g. we had difficulty obtaining bottles of water outside of meal times) The holiday was fairly cheap so we weren’t expecting amazing service, but this was far below our expectations and we were left very disappointed.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Riad Christina , a few minutes from the medina.Samo gave us plenty of useful information and a map to help us navigate the city . The rooms were tastefully decorated Moroccan style, the bed super comfortable, breakfast was served on the terrace by Ayman that set you up for the day.We had dinner on the terrace the first evening at a time that suited us which was delicious .All the staff were incredibly happy, friendly and helpful.We went to Ourika valley with Hassan and had such a great fun day🤗.Ismael drove us to the desert for our camel ride and show and took us the the airport on our last day. What a marvellous team. Also a big thank you to the lovely ladies and apologies for not knowing your names❤️. Would definitely recommend staying here and I know I will return 🥰

We stayed at Road Christina for 4 nights and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Even though Marrakesh can be very busy and a bit crazy, the accomodation was our place where we could relax. I would recommend this place and the activities they recommend. We went to Ourika valley and it was a lovely day trip. It was nice to go somewhere where wasn't too busy. On the way we stopped to look at pottery being made and we could buy some if we wanted. We also stopped in an argan oil shop and we got to try different oils to eat and cream and oils for our skin.

I'm so glad we chosen to stay in Riad Christina. Staff was very friendly and welcoming from the very start. Room was spacious, clean and situated in a relatively quiet street. We spent our nights in their amazing terrace, talking and drinking tea. They also have a variety of other drinks, including alcohol (wine, beer). For those who like to smoke or want to try shisha it is also available. We meet some great people and will definitely come back for another visit!

Was our first time in Marrakech and this Riad was best choice we made. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, gave us great tips on how to navigate in the city and it's a short walk to the main square. Room was clean and tidy with a good air conditioning. Me and my friends we had amazing nights relaxing at their lovely terrace. They have a good selection of drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) and food, shisha it's also available. I highly recommend this place for someone visiting the city.

Such a warm welcome and the sense of walking into a family Riad, with its traditional decor, ambience and hospitality, Riad Christina captured our hearts from the moment we arrived😊😊 Simo took care of us like we were part of his family, check in was so simple and he even helped to arrange transport for a surprise my partner had booked by driving us there himself! I was also able to practice my Darija with Simo who was so patient with my pronunciation 😃 The room was warm, well lit and beautifully decorated and furnished with a well appointed bathroom. The bed was so comfortable we were asleep as soon as our heads touched the pillow - sweet dreams Moroccan style 😴 A traditional hearty Moroccan breakfast served in the reception area really set us up and we were so sad to leave this hidden jewel nestled in the heart of the medina as we continued our Moroccan adventure.
