Best hotel ever !! I must say, never seen better service at the bar of a hotel , Rodrigo and Victor were the most professional , polite and helpful. I wasn’t feeling too well with a cold, and Rodrigo the barman made me an amazing Tea with Ginger and Honey with Mint. People that love their job and enjoy having guests is rare to find today. You will find them at the Hardrock Marbella ! The room was beautiful and super clean also, the maids as well was super professional and nice. I will definitely come back. Thank you Rodrigo and Victor for everything. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to all my friends and family !

Stayed here for 3 nights. Great sunshine by poolside, and away from snow back home. What else could you want 😁
Find some of the negative reviews confusing as I've experienced nothing but positivity. Room was clean and nice. Staff were all welcoming and nice. Always greet you with a smile. Poolside was nice and clean, bar staff attentive, lifeguards helpful and nice.
For what we paid for hotel (bed & breakfast) flights and transfer package? We wouldve been more expensive for a basic hotel (room only) stay in UK.
Food was a good spread with various options. Can't complain! Got a great full body massage from Nieves at 20% discount. As spa was partly closed for refurb.
CR7 great waiter in Eden bar. Always helpful, fun and chatty.

Hard Rock Hotel Marbella delivers a lively, stylish stay in an excellent location — close to the marina promenade, the casino and about a 20‑minute walk along the beach (note: signage to the promenade could be clearer). The hotel’s vibrant, quirky personality is evident from arrival.
Check‑in was smooth and courteous; the staff were polite and professional. Room keys issued as wearable wristbands are an innovative, convenient touch. The bell attendant was knowledgeable and efficient, making arrivals and departures effortless.
The lobby is a highlight: a genuine celebration of music history with fashion pieces and instruments tied to stars such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Billy Idol and Beyoncé. A tuned grand piano sits ready with a friendly “please play me” sign — a warm, unpretentious invitation compared with the usual “do not touch.” Near the entrance there’s a drum kit, and staff actively encourage guests to join in the playful atmosphere (I spotted someone try it at 8am with the response, “This is the Hard Rock Hotel.”).
Breakfast is generous and well presented, with a wide buffet of hot and cold options to suit different tastes. The hotel’s location is convenient for exploring the marina and beach; be aware there’s a subway under a flyover on the right when approaching the area.
In short, Hard Rock Hotel Marbella pairs strong service and modern conveniences with immersive rock‑and‑roll theming. It’s ideal for guests who want personality, music culture and a fun, social vibe alongside professional hospitality.

We spent 2 days in the hotel and we like the athmosphere. The mood and the design was so cool and perfect for a holiday. We loved the breakfast, it has got a lot of healthy opportunity which is really important for us! We missed the extractor fan in the bathroom.

Hello Hard Rock Marbella,
This is a Formal Rebuttal Regarding Room Standards and Recent Stay
I am writing to clarify several points in your response that do not accurately reflect the events of my stay.
1. Hygiene and Pest Issues
Attributing an ant infestation to a single open packet of crisps and a cocktail purchased from your own bar is unacceptable. If your property is prone to immediate infestations from standard guest activity, guests should be warned upon check-in. Your response inappropriately shifts the blame onto the guest for a pre-existing maintenance and hygiene issue. Furthermore, you mentioned a policy regarding the removal of unfinished cocktails; this was neither communicated nor in effect during my stay.
2. Discrepancies Regarding the Room Upgrade
The "upgrade" mentioned was, in fact, a room of the same standard located further from the original wing. The only difference was a double bed rather than two singles, which does not constitute a meaningful upgrade in the context of the inconvenience caused. Regarding the "complimentary late check-out," we vacated the room only 25 minutes after the standard time, which hardly compensates for the distress of the infestation.
3. Equipment and Facilities
Your explanation regarding the shower controls—suggesting that guests simply need time to "adjust" to a new place—is dismissive. The controls lacked any clear hot/cold indicators. This is a matter of basic functional signage and maintenance, not a lack of guest understanding.
The attempt to mitigate these clear service failures by blaming the guest is unprofessional. I expect a more transparent acknowledgement of these issues rather than a dismissal of the facts.
Regards
Michelle
