Lovely hotel, very central. The pool area is beautiful and the view from the top floor is second to none. The staff are lovely and welcoming, very nice spacious rooms (we booked two twin beds and they were pretty much the size of two doubles)! It was spotlessly clean, the reception area is decorated beautifully, there is a spa but we didn't have time to go while we were there so I can't comment on that. There was just one unfortunate incident that occurred while we were there - a friend of mine who is vegan ordered food (a dish from the menu that was clearly labelled vegan). The lady came out and asked her if she ate meat, she replied no and that she was vegan (in Spanish). Shortly afterwards a small snack was dropped out (which she hadn't ordered - from what I gathered it was a complimentary "snack of the day") and upon eating a small piece she discovered it was meat, despite telling the lady minutes beforehand she didn't eat it. My other friend returned the dish and said "you gave my vegan friend meat" to which the lady replied "I know." The food had been dropped by a different staff member before the lady had time to inform the kitchen - I understand that these things can happen but she did not come to the table immediately upon realising, we had to send it back ourselves. She came back a while later and apologised but being honest it seemed like a bit of an afterthought - overall I felt it was a disappointing response to the mistake. Apart from this, we really enjoyed the hotel and all other aspects of it. I am also vegan and had no issues on the one occasion I ate there - just be extra careful if plant-based!

As a family with young children, we always prioritize booking hotels with child-friendly pools. We expect quality hotels to offer pools with shallow entry areas where small children can safely play. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were unhelpful and made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. When we went to the pool, we discovered it was much too deep for young children—something that was not mentioned anywhere on the hotel’s website. Because of this, we wanted to cancel our reservation and find a more suitable hotel, but management refused to accommodate our request. If you are traveling with small children, I strongly recommend looking for other hotel options. Additionally, the rooms are dated and cramped, there are no smart TVs, and the breakfast is mediocre at best. The “nearby beach” advertised by the hotel was also disappointing and did not meet our expectations.

We were a family of four two adults and two children, ages 8 and 10. Unfortunately, the hotel did not mention anywhere in their booking information or any online resource that the pool is for adults only. The pool is about 5 feet (1.46 meters) deep, which makes it unsuitable for young children. This was very disappointing. Pools are typically designed with both adults and children in mind, and we naturally assumed there would be a family-friendly option, as pools are an essential activity for families traveling with kids. Unfortunately, we did not think to double-check this detail, since it’s rarely an issue at other hotels. Because of this lack of transparency, we were unable to enjoy our stay as expected. After a long 18-hour flight, dealing with unexpected changes and delays while trying to resolve this only added to our frustration. The process to review our cancellation request took too long, and in the end, the hotel refused to cancel the reservation. We would not recommend this property to families traveling with children.

Arriving in Marbella for 4 nights checked into the Senator… which to be honest is an “okay” hotel. Cleanliness wise there is no problems here. I had booked a suite, which upon arrival I forfeited as all of the suites face onto the mountains rather than the sea, which is ashame, but the deal breaker was the fact that none of the suites have balcony’s… this was not acceptable to me and I opted to move to a “superior room” which is not superior at all. That said a nice room with a decent bed and furniture setup. A nice rooftop pool which is ideal for swimming lengths. A basement “hydrotherapy” pool and which in all honesty needs a refurb. If you’re looking for luxury and up to date quality, look elsewhere. If you want “affordable” comfort, this will probably work for you

The hotel is nice but does not deserve a four star. The staff are very nice and there is good facilities like a nice pool and gym. But the rooms are underdeveloped, we had two double beds and both had very shakey legs and were really squeaky. The ac didn’t work either for a bit but to be fair the hotel fixed these two things straight away. I say the room is underdeveloped as it has older style things like desk, beds, flooring and bathroom and this is the main reason I’d say it’s not a four star. Another reason is the all u can eat buffet breakfast which was nice the first few days with fresh bread hot food scrambled eggs pancakes and lots of fresh desserts but the food stays the exact same and I ended up eating the same stuff every day for the ten days we stayed. Otherwise this hotel is nice with really nice staff great pool great location and good parking around the hotel. Overall if ur looking for a 4 star hotel give this a miss but otherwise it’s a grand nice hotel for any kinds of groups or families.

Firstly, I would like by saying the hotel looked amazing but the staff made the experience a disaster! Staff are extremely rude, they don’t help, they don’t greet people just stare. The food at the hotel is also terrible! I requested for a well done burger and it came medium and I complained and didn’t eat the food, they still made me pay for it. I complained to the manager the following few days and they said that they can’t find my money on the system. So basically saying that I never paid for the food. She then persisted to state that she will call me when I get back to the U.K. to get this sorted for me. I have had no emails or calls from the manager. This hotel service is just fully trash and I will never recommend and will never come back! I was holding out for writing a review to see if the manager would reach out but NO nothing! I am going to make sure I write a review everywhere in regards to this hotel so no one can experience what we did. Each day we had to ask the cleaners to clean our room other wise our room would not get cleaned! I can’t believe hotel has made my first experience in Marbella so bad that I don’t even want to go back to Marbella. As I was complaining on my last day there were other people complaining! This just shows how bad the service is! Do not recommend!!

Had a wonderful week at this hotel. We were a large group due to a wedding however the service and the rooms were excellent. The food at the breakfast buffet was always hot and tables were quickly cleared. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and the cleaning staff were always efficient and friendly. My only complaint would be the price of ice creams for the children priced at €7 each!! The walk into Puerto Banus only took 10 minutes so not far if you wanted nightlife. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. Thanks to everyone at Meliá Banús. Would definitely recommend.

After eating a burger at their restaurant i got food poisoning. The burger I had did taste odd and after 30min I was sick. I have struggled the whole night and in the morning I decided to notify the manager that I have gotten sick so they can check the kitchen so this doesnt happen to anybody else. Manager assured me I was the only one in the hotel who got sick and that the food is all good. I accepted that who knows it must be something else. After 24h I was feeling better and chatting to a lady with a small child I learn that her husband is in the room vomiting and having diarrhea after eating a sausage in the same restaurant. When we went to check out they wanted to charge us for the food we had that gave me poisoning. That is when I reacted and this is just wrong. Its not about 50 euro charge for the food its about human decency and the fact that I was now 100% sure it was food poisoning. Horrible way as a manager to even consider charging for that food. The manager made me feel like I am lying that I got sick. She told me I offered you a doctor and you denied. Yes I want the doctor to come to my room and see me hugging the toilet... In the end we did not pay for that meal we had but just the fact we had to argue and feeling I did something wrong made my holiday bitter.

Title: A 4-Star Disaster Our stay at this hotel was appalling. Housekeeping skipped our room despite the "please clean" sign, then showed up at 6:15 PM, rudely insisting to clean then or never. We had no fresh towels for our first two nights and our room was never cleaned. Reception claimed housekeeping is every other day—outrageous for a 4-star hotel. They also don't provide water after the first day, and we were told to buy our own at 11:00 PM. Terrible service. Not coming back. Don't come if you want good service from a 4-star or a clean room.

Had a wonderful time at the hotel. We went as a large group for a team building experience - the hotel provided space, support and great availability to our needs. The staff was incredibly friendly and the facilities were clean and aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are specious and bed is comfortable. The hotel has everything you need for a short business trip and is well located to the Center and beach. The pool was cold but other than that everything was perfect. Special thanks to Marina who supervised our stay and was incredible throughout the whole process. Will come back for sure.

I read conflicting reviews about the hotel. I was anxious before arrival. I needn't have worried. I think it is amazing. The staff are so nice. The food is great. The entertainment is very very good. All the entertainment staff are so talented. The pools and slides are for all ages and excellent. I personally loved that the hotel attracted a lot of Spanish people. To hear the natives voices was lovely. The Spanish guests were so nice. There are still other nationalities there though. I would definitely book again. I am a seasoned traveller for over 40 years. Trust me?

We had a great time staying here. Rooms were clean and fine for the limited time we spent in them. Pool and slides were good. Entertainment staff were fantastic, as were the evening shows. Good minibus service to beach, which although busy, was lovely and clean. Only reason for marking down the service was the incredibly slow service at the outside bar. Even returning cups for tokens took forever!!

Hotel was nice overall but would not return. Rooms were clean and spacious, no issues there. Food was what you would expect from an all inclusive resort. No onsite shop so had to venture out for water and basics. But can’t rate location, on main road and when leaving hotel to walk to shop or restaurant you have to walk on a broken pavement on a busy main road very dangerous when bringing a baby in buggy. Hotel have a token system for drinks which just makes everything complicated. You need 1euro to get a token a reception to then go to the bar that always has a queue to get a cup and then you can get a drink. No need!

recently stayed at AluaSun Marbella Park and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The accommodation feels dated and could definitely use some updating. The pool area is often overcrowded, making it hard to relax. One major downside is their drink token policy — each person is only given one token, and you cannot get a drink without it. If you forget your token, you’re simply out of luck, which is quite frustrating. The location is fairly isolated, although Nikki Beach nearby is a nice spot to visit. Another letdown was the room itself — there was no tea, coffee, or kettle provided, which felt quite basic. We arrived late and, despite our delayed flight, were not even given a complimentary bottle of water in the room; instead, they asked us to pay for it. The restaurant was crowded and chaotic, almost like a cattle market, which made dining an unpleasant experience. The food was very standard and rather boring. Overall, the hotel felt more like a 2-star than what you’d expect in this region. I would not choose to stay here again.

Then to alone to adults only pool. The slides and pool were treated as well as the breakfast- just dinner was not to great…they should higher the standard of the food and cooking 🧑‍🍳

Lovely resort with extremely spacious rooms! The kids club was a highlight! Location was great (amazing shops and restaurants across the road and the beach 5 min walk away) and the overall vibe of the resort was wonderful. It is perfect for a family getaway!

Stayed at Ona Alanda Club Marbella for a week and honestly, it was a lovely spot for a proper switch-off. The apartment was massive, had everything you’d need, full kitchen, washer, even a balcony to catch the evening sun. Bit of the décor felt like it was from a few years back, but it was spotless and well looked after, so no real complaints there. The staff were cracking, friendly, always up for a chat, and sorted things quickly when asked. Pools were great, especially the heated indoor one when the weather dipped. Location-wise, you’re just a stroll from the beach and close to shops, so dead handy. All in all, not perfect, but a proper good stay.

The rooms are incredibly spacious with separate bathrooms – perfect for families or groups. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. One of the best place we are staying for a very reasonable price. We book in advance and got % early booking discount. Arriving at place was a Wow! So nice and spacious with fully equipped kitchen. Territory is green, calm, perfect for families with kids. For end March it was quite fresh to use outdoor swimming pools, so we profit from indoor one with jacuzzi and sauna which is open till 10pm. Sea promenade is nice. Supermarkets and restaurants 5 min by foot, 15 min drive to Marbella. One Playground is in hotel and 2 others nearby. Wi-fi is fine. You have enough parking lots on the streets which are for free. Place to come back.

Angela Sanchez es la mejor y siempre sonrie. She was very with us. One day Angela didn't come to work probably probably she was on day off. Her the person that was covering her at that time didn't do a great job, she didn't change the towels the room was full off hair we reported that the receptionist, immediately the reception asked the person to go back to the room again. Day after Angela back work and she resolved everything, Angela she's a problem solver. Paula at the reception she was helpful, she's doing a great job at the reception. At the Restaurant Jessica is the best she was helpful. The dinner chefs wasn't doing a great job on Thursday the 14 of August, we got chicken row with bloods served, that's very dangerous served chicken row. I think the chefs that is was working on Thursday the 14 of August at the dinner need further training. I highly recommend the hotel for anyone that are looking for nice and convenient place to stay in Marbella.

Had a good stay at this hotel for a business event. Coming here in May was ideal because the hotel was quiet. This meant no queues plus rooms and other facilities were all clean. The lunch menu was fresh, tasty and filling. The hotel is a distance away from other attractions but we walked 15mins to a really nice local restaurant. Only negative is that the staff can be rude at times.

The hotel is fantastic, the suite (454) was amazing with a huge terrace and views over the pool, if you are looking for a little bit of luxury, then treat yourself and stay in one of the suites. The relaxation massage by Ana was excellent, you feel like a new person afterwards.

I want to start the review with the fact that I'm giving four stars in favour of the hotel, whereas I would've given 3,5 if possible. The hotel has an excellent location; about 15 minutes from all of the hotspots in Marbella. There's one street nearby where you can park your car for free. Staff of the hotel is very friendly and available 24/7. Then the rooms... They are spacious and have large beds. But our air conditioning was barely working. The rooms are outdated, just as the a/c. We called the receptionist when we arrived and luckily someone came quickly. But setting the a/c below 16 would not work, so it was always set to 16 and the temperature in the room never got below 22-23°C. The minibar as well, it barely worked. I think that matched the 16°C, but not colder than that. Besides the a/c, the room has a ceiling fan. We turned it on, but it's life is literally hanging on a thread. We didn't feel comfortable turning it on for any longer. It's not hanging stable and can fall anytime... Our shower door in the bathroom would not close. It's barely hanging. So a lot of water leaked out. The tap in the shower is loose and all of the caulking was very mouldy. One time, we also find a cockroach in the bathroom... We used a glass and a piece of paper to get it out of our room. Really disgusting. There's a pretty new tv, with a remote with YouTube button. But that function also did not work. Very big plus is that the WiFi is extremely stable and fast. Breakfast is also good, with a large variety of food and drinks to choose from. But unfortunately every day exactly the same. Swimming pool is nice with decent beds, but note that it opens from 11:00 and already closes at 19:00.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at the Hard Rock Hotel was so bad that I feel I need to warn others. The room was completely unacceptable. Instead of a nice view, the windows faced a garbage area and a parking lot that reeked constantly. On top of that, the air conditioning was terribly designed: it blows directly on your face while you’re trying to sleep, making the room both uncomfortable and unhealthy. Combined with the extreme humidity, it was impossible to rest properly. I even got sick from the conditions. Noise was another constant issue, making it impossible to relax. The spa—one of the reasons I booked—was a waste of time and money, far from relaxing and not worth it at all. The food was awful, and what’s worse, several people (myself included) felt unwell after eating it. This is not just disappointing, it’s dangerous. What made the experience even worse was the staff. Reception was consistently rude and dismissive, and overall, employees made me feel unwelcome rather than like a valued guest. I later discovered that many other guests had the same complaints as I did, which says a lot about how deeply these issues run. This was without doubt one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Between the disgusting view, the smell, the noise, the broken AC setup, the humidity, the unsafe food, and the unwelcoming staff, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. It is far below what any hotel should offer, let alone one with the Hard Rock name.

Room was great and spacious but I wouldn't say there was much difference between a superior and deluxe room... Don't waste your money for the upgrade .. staff were just rude as hell! My partner ordered a drink at the bar and because he asked for a slice of lime the bartender slammed his tongs down and very aggressively stormed around the bar.... Just damn right rude and unnecessary if you ask me... It's a slice of lime for Pete's sake 🤣 Very very very expensive and let's not forget the extortionate deposit to stay which is ridiculously expensive.... Safe to say I wouldn't waste your money 💰

We chose this hotel based on our excellent experience at the Hard Rock Hotel in Miami (The Guitar), which we absolutely loved. Unfortunately, the Hard Rock Hotel in Marbella turned out to be a major disappointment — more like a bad imitation of the brand we once trusted. The rooms are extremely small, barely enough space to open two suitcases. The bathroom is cramped, and the refillable wall-mounted bottles were mismatched — shower gel was poured into shampoo bottles, which felt careless and unhygienic. The air conditioning unit is outdated, noisy, and blows uneven waves of air that made it hard to sleep at night. Room service took hours to arrive and, shockingly, was delivered by someone not in hotel uniform. The food came in plastic containers inside a plastic bag, making us question whether it was even prepared by the hotel kitchen. The staff across the board were rude and unwelcoming — from the front desk to the lobby bar, where the bartenders were particularly unfriendly. The hallways leading to the rooms had no functioning air conditioning either, making the entire experience uncomfortable. Sadly, this hotel failed to live up to the Hard Rock name. It was a chaotic, unfriendly, and frustrating stay. We will never return to this location.

Our first time to a Hard Rock hotel and we had a fabulous holiday, maybe it’s not quite as good as other hotels we have been too but it’s clean, tidy & food selection was good, staff were lovely, especially Bea, she was so friendly and helpful. Front of house and guest services were disappointing in our opinion, we specifically asked on two separate occasions prior to arriving for a double room and not a twin and were only offered a twin even though there was a note on our booking. After the first night and some messing around we were offered a room as requested, this wasn’t going to happen without our time and effort being put in and requesting to speak to managers. All sorted in the end and we enjoyed our stay

Staying at Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella was easily one of the highlights of my summer. The hotel delivers exactly what it promises a refined adults-only experience with a perfect balance of luxury, energy, and peace. The staff treats you like a VIP from the moment you arrive. Every interaction felt personal, from the concierge to the beach club waiters. The room was spotless with an incredible view of the Mediterranean waking up and stepping onto that balcony every morning was unbeatable. The beach club and pool area are lively but never out of control. Great music, great cocktails, and a crowd that’s upscale and attractive but chill. It’s the kind of place where you can socialize if you want or simply relax and feel like you’re in your own world. Breakfast is a full spread — everything fresh, beautifully presented, with both healthy options and indulgent choices. Location wise, it’s perfect. You’re right on the beachfront and just a short walk into Old Town Marbella if you want real Spanish restaurants or a change of vibe. Overall, Amàre feels like a mix of a boutique hotel and a beach club clean, modern, stylish, and made for adults who enjoy life. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back.

If you are considering booking this place, do it! We honestly couldn’t fault it. Spacious room, the best breakfast you’ll ever have (huge selection), huge pool area, beach bar and great staff. Couldn’t fault this place, we only stayed for 3 nights but wished it was longer. It’s right on the seafront with all the restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful service at Amàre! Diego at the front desk was outstanding — he's been working here for 18 years, and you can tell he truly loves the place. The entire staff is kind and always smiling. At the spa, Daniela was fantastic — she’s been with Amàre for 7 years, and her experience shows. I also had a massage with Yoni — a very professional and worthwhile experience. Highly recommend!

I read a number of negative reviews, prior to arriving, on the check-in & overall service, however our experience of the hotel was fantastic. Check-In: arriving at the hotel, we had a great first impression. Clean, well maintained & modern. The check-in process was smooth and friendly including a nice touch of a welcome drink. Room: lucky enough to have a high floor with a side sea view. We found the room to be quiet with no real disruption of outside noise or noise from other guests, which was a pleasant surprise as my wife is a light sleeper. The bed was also huge! The room was on the same level as the rooftop bar (level 9). If our room was closer to the rooftop bar (or directly outside of the lift), maybe it could have been different. Top tip: request or book a room with a high floor. Breakfast buffet: closed at 11am, which is later than normal. Selection was impressive. Busy between 09:30-10:30. Pool area: we thought it was brilliant. Lots of trees, which adds to plenty of shade but also enough areas to get enough sun too. Each bed has a buzzer, which you can press for service, so no need to run to a bar or try get someone's attention. The staff at the pool were fantastic, and plenty of them too. There is music being played, so this adds to good vibes (but chilled). Very impressed & enjoyable experience. Also a good mix of adults of all ages. Top tip: get down to the pool prior to 10am and you will have the option of a few beds. There is a strict policy that if you leave your sunbeds for 30 mins, they will remove your towels (unless you're dining for lunch within the hotel). This was the only negative as you couldn't really go for a long walk or even dine outside of the hotel for lunch without the fear of your towels being removed. Beach area: as above really. Again, great. Good vibes but chilled. Lovely little beach restaurant, which I would advise reserving in advance. The beach beds are for hotel guests only, with no additional costs. We found the beach to be a little quieter than the pool. Rooftop bar: amazing views. Would advise booking on a weekend. Overall: the staff & service were excellent. We would stay here again if visiting Marbella. Location was only a few minutes away from Old Town.

The only hotel I have ever been to that charges you extra if there’s more than one person that stays in the same king bed room!! Absolutely bizarre. Every other hotel or a booking app automatically selects 2 travelers as a standard option when selecting and booking any of the rooms but apparently here this is not the case. instead you get charged additional hidden fees upon arrival!!!

This establishment boasts a stunning facility and exceptional staff, particularly those at the restaurant. I would like to extend my appreciation to the Cuban gentleman at the grill, who demonstrated remarkable kindness and gentleness. Jesus also provided outstanding service, and my 1.5-year-old daughter was particularly fond of him. The restaurant offers an impressive array of culinary options. Furthermore, the hotel provides a diverse range of activities daily and entertaining shows in the evenings. While I would have awarded this hotel a 5-star rating, I was deterred by the €3.50 charge for a glass of water at the pool area. I discussed my concerns with the management, suggesting that the bar should not charge for water unless a bottle was ordered. Although they graciously waived the charge, I remain concerned that this practice may be affecting numerous other guests.

What a wonderful evening we spent here. Shoulda booked 2 nights, not just one. Very comfortable & relaxing environment here, hotel staff was on-point from the time we checked in until we departed. Breakfast options were EXTENSIVE & delicious. Multiple outdoor pools & a half-block from the beach. The beach has a walk along the side of the ocean, both directions.

We really loved this hotel. This is an excellent 4* hotel, and is better than some 5* hotels we have stayed in, in Spain particularly. We couldn't fault it at all and would definitely recommend! The staff were amazing, so pleasant and helpful from the moment we checked in. We got early check in and late check out until 2pm.. no issues or extra cost. Rooms were spacious and beds so comfortable. They catered so well for babies and a cot and baby bath were already in our room. Glass of bubbles on arrival, always a nice touch 😊 Everything ran like clockwise at the hotel, it is super clean and easy to get around. The hotel have thought of everything guests would want/need and provided it incl. free filtered water, ice on each floor and jugs in rooms, so handy. In room coffee machine and 4 pods and fresh milk provided daily. Courtesy room is available to book for 30mins for showers after check out which was such a good idea (proper guestroom, not just a communal shower area). Food and drinks were great at the hotel and well priced. Pool was heated and the pool area was always clean. Hotel is quiet but has some calm entertainment like aqua aerobics and a violinist at the pool. Good little spa too which we got private use of during our stay.

What can I say other than one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had and I'm very well travelled. All the staff are truly amazing from the moment you arrive and every step from there..... room was superb, hotel facilities first (chilled) class.... incredible choice for breakfast, and the evening for dinner had a huge array of professionally prepared or cooked live for you on demand... meat, seafood and all the accompaniments simply wonderful and I'm a foodie that's not easily pleased... do not hesitate to book this place you will not regret it....hotel is a 15 minute seafront walk to Puerto Banus and the bus to Marbella old town right outside the front door, 1 euro 20 and 15 mins away... overall a very well deserved wow...

14 days of great accommodation, services and fun. Top that with good food and drinks and there you have your dream vacation. A hotel experience is very dependent on the infrastructure but also of the people visible and hidden to the guests and I wanted to thank all the housekeepers that we did not get the chance to see very often and also the visible fantastic hotel team like Mr Zamora, Mrs Isabel, Isa from the eggs and pancakes station, Rita as the great fun leader, Fernan, Lucia and Estefania (friends forever) from the bar. We will be back!

Overall a superb hotel with excellent service and facilities.. The outstanding areas of service are Eddy's bar/terrace.. the staff there are so professional and even remember what you drink and how you like it.. the rooms are outstanding as are all the hotel amenities. The most exemplary service goes to the Concierge team who run the car valet service - they were faultless and such a lovely team - a very big shout out to them!! Where they let themselves down is in pockets of the hotel.. the pool service is non-existent before midday (so you have to get your own mattresses and carry them across the grounds) with barely any service thereafter .. whereas at the beach club the set up it excellent. The biggest disappointment was the service at breakfast (6 days) and each day was the same. Would take a while to be attended for coffee and every single time the coffee would taste different but not in a good way.. I can only describe as watery dishwater with a very odd taste.. I have never experienced such awful coffee and am mystified at how they can get this so wrong.. a good coffee is a must and only coffee drinkers will appreciate this. Also when requesting an additional coffee it would always be over 10 mins to be served and then mostly undrinkable .. you should be serving excellent coffee! The service at breakfast also is severely lacking together with the understanding and speaking of English - poor! The hotel reception staff should have a better English language ability - I was surprised. However did thoroughly enjoy our stay and would definitely return but if you could improve on the above then you would be operating an outstanding hotel which in our opinion would be faultless.

I had an incredible experience at the Villa Padierna spa! From the moment we arrived, everything felt serene and luxurious. The steam rooms, saunas, and salt baths were absolutely amazing! Very relaxing and beautifully maintained. I originally planned to visit with my brother, but he couldn’t make it, so a friend joined me instead, and we both had a fantastic time. The staff were welcoming and professional, and the entire atmosphere was peaceful and rejuvenating. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a truly elegant setting!

True Luxury. The property is simply amazing, not only a hotel but an estate with beautiful gardens, artwork, and fresh flowers everywhere. Everything is so well executed and managed, from rooms, to food, to services and most importantly the staff and people. Right from arrival we were greeted, quick check in, welcome drink + sweet and escorted to the room which was the first great surprise. Classic style design with beautiful decor that is so well executed, beyond comfortable bedding, excellent amenities from premium niche author perfume brand. The SPA - everything spot on, I cannot add or take away anything, proper dry sauna and a cold plunge, but then you also have several steam baths, salt sauna and medium temperature rooms, so that means there is something for every taste, I know me and my wife we like different temperatures, and here you have it all. Most importantly my skin did not smell of chlorine after, despite being several hours , and believe me you cannot say that about many spas no matter the level. The chill out room, again, beautiful fresh flowers that fill the room with real aroma! The breakfast , everything delicious, can really notice the quality ingredients that are served, plenty of variety and choices both hot and cold as well as fruits and sweets, also have option to order from menu and be served. Last but not least, the service - everyone, and I mean everyone we interacted with was so pleasant and warming. I want to steal a phrase from another very famous luxury hotel chain which is "ladies and gentleman serving ladies and gentlemen" , and that is how I felt while being there. We had many interactions with Lucia, Carlotta and Juan from guest relations as well as Jose Diaz from concierge (and many more that I wish I could remember to name, for example the head gardener in charge of flowers and many more) - all very nice, calm, pleasant and extremely servicial. We also had the privilege to mee the General Manager Jorge and it quickly became obvious why this place is run so well - the management sets the tone of care and hospitality for rest of the staff in the hotel, and I could sense how Jorge sets the right "aura" for rest of the team. What more to say, looking forward for another stay when possible.

Together with a friend we went to the Anantara Spa and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. The staff's service and genuine warmth were a highlight, the spa circuit boasts an array of steam rooms, saunas and even a cold plunge to enjoy, and we came out of the Spa more relaxed than ever. From the elegant design of the space to the aromas and the meticulously curated amenities, everything is crafted to give a sense of unmatched tranquility. What a great place!

Set in it's own green oasis, this hotel exudes calm and relaxation - for the guests that is - the staff are very attentive, friendly and keep things ticking along seamlessly. The breakfasts were excellent (we didn't experience the dining restaurants) and the bar with the live music was a fun place for a nightcap. We loved looking out from our room, through the trees to the sea beyond. It's an easy stroll to the old town and all it's pretty, quirky streets. We hope to return to this lovely hotel sometime soon.

Reviewed 2 days ago There is no other hotel in Marbella for us whether we travel with our children or as a couple. The hotel is very special and the staff are excellent. Friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough for you. There are excellent restaurants, a beautiful, comfortable pool area with amazing pool staff and the location is perfect. Rooms are not large but very comfortable with all amenities. We will miss it next year when it closes for a refurb but we will be back! Special thanks to Abel for all his help and for always looking after us.

This is my fourth trip to Marbella, my first time in hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá and it was incredible! I will definitely be back here. Every aspect of the hotel is spotlessly clean, the lobby, the rooms, the gym all kept to a perfect standard. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure we had an amazing stay. The pool concierge team and the pool staff from Bardot made every day we spent by the pool perfect. Although I can’t praise the staff throughout the hotel enough, everyone was friendly and helpful. We booked the red level and the lounge experience was great. Breakfast, snacks and drinks all available in a quiet lounge area. The hotel itself is a very easy short walk to old town. The grounds of the hotel are wonderful, a mix of green gardens and pool area, with easy access to the beach and promenade. I would highly recommend a stay here, the hotel, staff and overall experience were all exceptional!

Disappointing experience. They charge you for absolutely everything — even calls to reception! The rooms are outdated and poorly maintained, with visible stains on the curtains. Pools are far too small for the size of the resort. Breakfast was decent, but nothing to write home about. The on-site restaurants are extremely overpriced, and the service staff were consistently unfriendly. Overall, it felt like a complete rip-off and definitely not worth the high price tag.

Puente Romano exceeded all my expectations. The lush gardens, beautiful Andalusian architecture, and elegant rooms created a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. We stayed at Hotel Puente Romano last year and had an amazing experience. Our room was quiet, had a lovely terrace, and provided the level of comfort we expected from a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, this year’s stay did not live up to our previous experience. Our room faced the street, making it noisy, and we couldn’t open the window due to the constant traffic sounds. This significantly impacted the relaxing atmosphere we had enjoyed so much before. For a hotel of this category, we expect consistent quality in terms of comfort and tranquility. We were disappointed that no effort was made to offer us a quieter room or an alternative solution. Sadly, this visit did not meet our expectations. After one Day the Hotel offered me a new quiet room- thanks

I really feel compelled to let others know what Puente Romano actually felt and looked like before they invest time and money into traveling far. We are just leaving the resort. Here during high season. Puente Romano calls their entry level rooms junior suites. We paid $2k/night USD per room (jr suite). The rooms are not what an average person would define a junior suite by any stretch of the imagination. The junior suite rooms are a standard hotel room size layout and design at best. Very small. The rooms are tired and not well maintained. Furniture is old. Poor ac in the bathroom which gets very hot. No view whatsoever, garden view is just a white patio wall with old greenery. The property grounds does not exude a 5 star resort appearance. Lacks any attractive well designed landscape. The pools I think were the biggest disappointment. They are too small for the number of guests, old lounge chairs, peeling paint everywhere, aesthetically unappealing old pool, definitely in need of a complete remodel. Also very poor to non-existent service poolside. The main pool is surrounded by a mish mash of hedge plants so you cannot see the ocean at all. No view. As far as the beach…it is not a beach you can or would want to swim in. That goes for most of Marbella. The area in front of the hotel is full of seaweed. The rest of the beach has large rocks underneath you after you get into the water. My 3 teen boys love the beach and spend lots of time in beaches at home, they barely got in the water here. Also, the beach front of the resort that isn’t covered in seaweed is not private, it is crowded with public beach goers. Puente Romano is lacking in the level of service one would expect at this price point. Employees that either weren’t helpful or didn’t try. I highly regret not staying at the Marbella Club. The cost difference is 100% worth it. We spent a day there to check it out. The difference in sophistication, quality, service, rooms and amenities is night and day from puente Romano justifying a higher price and definite matched value. Unfortunately puente Romano is delivering a sub-standard product all around for the price. We were told Marbella club was more for couples but that was inaccurate information. We saw many families of all ages at Marbella Club.
