This hotel left a great impression. The staff was wonderful – always smiling and ready to help. The rooms were clean, and the food was very tasty. The surroundings were well-maintained, beautiful, and cozy. The beach was also impressive – clean and scenic. The drinks were amazing, and the cocktails were simply excellent. I definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay!

Extremely Disappointing End to an Otherwise Beautiful Stay – Unprofessional and Embarrassing Experience
We recently stayed at this hotel and, up until our departure, it was genuinely one of the best holidays we’ve had. The hotel itself is stunning, the facilities are excellent, and we were having an amazing time with our family.
However, everything changed in the final moments, and I feel compelled to share this experience.
As we were checking out—with three young children in tow—we were suddenly approached by two stern, aggressive men who began showing us video footage of our room. Yes, the room was messy. We have kids. There were towels on the floor, a few things out of place—nothing remotely serious or unusual for a family of five staying in a hotel room. But the way we were treated was absolutely appalling.
They claimed we had caused some kind of damage and said we’d be charged extra. I was completely shocked. We travel frequently—up to four holidays a year—always in five-star hotels, and we’ve never been spoken to like this or accused of anything. Our rooms always look like any lived-in family room: a bit untidy, sure, but never disrespectfully so.
What really pushed it over the edge was their accusation that our kids had drawn on the bed sheet. Yes, there were a couple of felt tip marks—completely washable. I immediately acknowledged this and even offered to pay for the sheet without hesitation. But rather than handle the situation with understanding or professionalism, it felt like we were being ambushed and humiliated. Completely unnecessary and handled with zero grace.
To top it off, the manager suddenly changed his tune and said there was “no issue” at all—only after I made a point of defending myself. So why were we treated like criminals to begin with?
Even worse, today—after we’ve already left—I received a phone call from the hotel asking AGAIN why the room was messy. Ten minutes later, they called back to say there was nothing wrong. Honestly, I’ve never experienced anything like it.
I expected so much better from a hotel of this supposed standard. The final impression we were left with was embarrassment, frustration, and a sense of being completely disrespected as guests. This completely soured what had otherwise been a lovely stay.
Until the hotel seriously trains their staff in handling guest relations with professionalism and respect—especially families—I cannot recommend it and won’t be returning.

Our stay at the Double Tree by Hilton was superb in every way. The location is beautiful, with the pristine sea and the magnificent mountains around. The food is absolutely best, fresh, delicious, and varied, and always served with the utmost care for details. There is a huge pool at the hotel, where everybody can find space and peace. What stands out at the hotel is fantastic service, all the way from cleaning staff, waiting crew, bartenders, stewards and many more. I honestly admire how smoothly they take care of everything to make our stay so pleasant. This is a place to come back.

This is honestly a fantastic hotel. It has lots of services and they are all great. This is the second time I am visiting. Everything is generally great and what I would expect from a 5 star hotel, if not more.
Apart from the points below, the hotel is perfect, but here are the points I would improve upon :
- Location, it is in the middle of nowhere. The scenery is great but you are mostly limited to staying in the hotel and nowhere else.
- Gym - Very, very lackluster gym. Basically an afterthought/nonexistent.
- Lack of change - Between my two visits that were a year apart, everything was the same. Everything is great of course, but I would've expected at least the food to change a little bit or have some changes but it felt exactly the same. This can also be a pro.
- Alcohol was extremely diluted. I drank several strong cocktails and did not even get tipsy.
- English is at an A1 level for most of the staff and the representative staff such as Reception it is more like B2. Very basic communication is fine, but if you need something more than "One water please", it becomes hard to explain.
- Dinner time is rather short and early. Lunch ends at 16:00, Dinner starts at 18:30 and ends at 21:00. Not a huge problem, but feels short if you go down to eat at 20:30.

the hotel in itself is amazing, food is lovely, most staff kind but when it came to checking out the cleaners refused to clean our room because it was 'to messy' when there was a bit of rubbish which is standard for a few days without the room being cleaned- the cleaners didn't clean our room for a few days. after, the hotel made us go back up and clean our room. also many workers do not understand english so don't be surprised when they get your order wrong. also there was only one pool which was small and did not have enough space to swim in. there was not enough sun beds aswell as that.
